About: I’m a lifelong cat lover and grew up with cats, so caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years I’ve looked after my own cats as well as those of family and friends, helping with feeding, litter tray cleaning, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every cat has its own personality—some love attention and play, while others prefer their space and routine. I’m patient, reliable, and happy to adapt to each cat’s individual needs. My goal is always to make sure your cat feels safe, relaxed, and well looked after in their familiar environment.

About: Cats have been part of my life since childhood in South Africa, and I've continued caring for them here in England — so I understand just how particular they can be about their space, their routine, and who they let in. I know that a cat visit isn't just about food and water. It's about making sure they're settled, checking they're well, giving them attention if they want it and space if they don't. Every cat is different, and I take the time to get to know yours. I'm calm, observant, and reliable — and I'll always leave you with an update after each visit so you know exactly how they're doing. If your cat needs someone who genuinely gets them, I'm here.

“Marrianne took the time to meet with me and my cat before I went away and her daily updates gave great assurance that my cat was well cared for and happy. I will certainly recommend and book Marrianne again. Thank you, Marianne.”

“Our cats love Laura. They are quite nervous around people but they feel comfortable around Laura. Laura has looked after our cats many times now. Very trustworthy. Highly recommend her.”

About: We are Hannah and Ghino, a couple and we have plenty of experience caring for cats, having both grown up with them. We have a plethora of experience sitting for cats, and have been doing it full-time in the UK for the past few months. We have looked after a range of cats, including rescue, elderly, cats on basic medication and 3+ cat households. *We can look after your pet separately from one another, so it could be either Hannah or Ghino caring for your pet. We recognise that cats have unique and individual personalities, the importance of their routine, and need for balancing both their affection and space. From feeding and litter care to playtime and quiet companionship, we are confident in providing calm, attentive care that can help your cats feel safe, settled, and comfortable while their owners are away. We also love to play with them!

“Emily takes amazing care of my cats, they are always happy and relaxed when I get back home. She sends lots of updates to keep my mind at ease. Highly recommend! ”

“Laura looked after my cats over Christmas and was great. She spent time every day playing with them, and even my timid cat came out of hiding from under the duvet to join in- which says a lot! I got daily updates with lots of pictures, making time spent away from them easier. Highly reccomend- Luna and Nala would love to see her again!”

“short notice booking for a couple of nights looking after our cat while we were away. Rachel was really lovely, very clearly an experienced sitter with a great love of animals, and looked after our cat brilliantly, as well as staying in touch, sending photos, and respectfully looking after our home. Will definitely book Rachel again if we need to. Thanks”

About: Hi I’m Lorna, I work in the charity and well-being space and recently moved to Shoreham a few months ago. Over the past 8 years I have developed a huge love for dogs and the dream is to have one of my own one day. For now, I’m looking to meet and care for as many dogs as possible and help out where I can, giving them company, walks, love and attention to help make them feel as happy as possible. I love walking, exploring nature and being outdoors so could spend hours outside strolling with your pooch. Being a yoga teacher I have a calming nature and just love being around dogs, I think everyone should have one in their life, they are so good for wellbeing. I have done numerous accounts of dog sitting over the past few years for a friends 2 staffs and more recently many dog walks and sitting for a family members Mastiff. I also regularly walk a lovely Bichon Frise, so have experience caring for dogs both big and small. I would look after your dog like my own, so please drop me a line if you'd like me to help :) I'm currently self employed, growing my own wellness business whilst working part time at my local charity shop so I have a couple of afternoons free every week to spend time with your pooch. Communication is key when looking after your dog in your home. I want to ensure they feel happy and relaxed as if you were there, so I'll make sure we have a chat beforehand so I understand and can meet the needs of your dog. After all, each dog is unique :)

“I couldn’t have asked anymore from Georgina! She gave Cooper exactly what he needed to make him feel safe on his first stay. She updated me to let me know he was okay. Looking forward to cooper staying with Georgina and Rupert again 🥰”

About: We had our Retriever/Collie mix breed for almost 18 years, from boisterous puppy to (very) senior retiree, so have experience across the life of a dog. Both Andy & CJ work from home full time (bar one day a week when CJ is in the office) with a large amount of flexibility. We have a big back garden with large deck and lots of grass (and nothing of value!). Dogs are allowed pretty much anywhere in the house, so they would be able to wander about, sleep in the office with us, or elsewhere for some R&R.
“Elvis had a lovely time with Linda! I felt very comfortable leaving him, knowing he was in safe hands. Thank you Linda! We’ve already booked him in again and we plan to book Elvis in whenever we need a puppy sitter in the future :)”

“Sarah has been great with our little Lottie providing updates, pictures and videos. Lottie definitely had a great time with her! Will definitely recommend her and use her services again!!”

“If Carlsberg did Doggy Day Care this is what it would look like. Valentina has a genuine passion for dogs and a wonderful natural connection with them. She was fantastic with our little puppy and had extensive knowledge and experience. She asked lots of questions before taking her to maintain consistency and planned their days to include lots of play time, mental stimulation and socialisation. Valentina is highly trust-worthy and kind & has really added value to our little puppy's life. Highly, highly recommended!”

“Toula had such a good time spending the day with Inesa, and seemed to have a great bond with her dog Laska, wanting to give her lots of kisses! We were not sure how Toula would settle in an unfamiliar house, but we needn't have worried, she certainly made herself at home. Inesa has a calmness about her, therefore making our dog feel as ease. We would be more than happy for her to stay with Inesa and Laska again. Would highly recommend.”

“Lorraine was amazing, lots of communication and photos, the dogs were super settled and happy and I felt relaxed knowing they were with an experienced dog loving family.”

“Leanne and Abbie are amazing with my older gal, Marley. She loves going over to spend the day with them and they’re great at keeping me updated with how her doggy day care is going, and really flexible around my working hours. I can tell she’s really happy and well cared for when she’s with them, they’ve even got her socialising with other small dogs which is great. Highly recommend!”

About: I used to have a dog in our family for 10 years. Our dog was our baby and part of the family. I then got married and moved away. I'm a mum of two (aged 7 and 9) who both love animals, we live near a large park and the South Downs so no problem to walk any dogs 🐕. My husband is also happy to join us on walks when he can. We have a small garden for play etc protected by a high secure fence. We will make sure your dog is happy in our house while you are away, we will also send you some pictures if your dog stays with us. While with us your pet/s will be part of our family, there are no restrictions. I have a small part time job, it's only a few nights a week and my husband takes over when I'm not there, so no issues at all. We have a secure fenced garden and take much care when opening the front door, your dogs happyness, safety, and security is paramount to us.

About: I got my first dog when I was in primary school and have been taking good care of it until now. It is already 12 years old, so I have experience in looking after elderly dogs. In junior high school, I adopted a sick kitten and had the experience of feeding it milk and giving it injections. I have been adopting it until now and it is already five and a half years old. I currently have plenty of time, so I can be with your pets at any time and take care of them. The time frame is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. I have a large open-air balcony which is convenient for my pets to play on, and there is a park right downstairs from my house. Besides, my home has soft carpets to protect pets with joint problems.
About: A born animal lover, been around cats & dogs all my life, I am now 43 and have a cat but adore dogs more (love my cat obviously) but as a freeholder I am not allowed to have 1 long term in my building even though I own the flat and have a garden. I loving walking and taking your dog out will be a pleasure for me. I am very responsible and you can rely on there never being an issue and your furry friend getting the love, empathy and exercise it needs! I work from home and I have a cat, she is out most of the day and loves dogs but if your dog isn't a fan of cats then it won't work. I have a caring, clean and safe environment and will look after your dog like they are my own. Lots of walks and love would be standard! The only reason I don't have a dog is that even though I own my flat and have a garden, the freehold contract between the 3 flats made me sign when I bought that I would only have a cat. So I am doing this because it makes up for not having my own!
“Andrea was absolutely amazing with Alfie and Neyo! I had to make this booking at the very last minute, and she went above and beyond to look after my two boys. She took them on long walks, and they came home happy and completely exhausted! I can’t thank Andrea enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone loving and reliable to care for their pets.”

“Katherine communicated clearly and has a border collie that immediately made friends with my dog Bunyip, and apparently they just played together all day. He slept for about 13 hours once we got home so I'm sure he had a good time!”

About: I grew up with pets and am both a dog and a cat person! Over the last few years, I have dog-sat for friends and family, either in their homes or doggy daycare in my home and have experience walking both small and medium dogs. At the moment, I'm the proud owner (slave!) of a senior cat who is very relaxed about other animals in the house. I work flexibly so can be available for walks, doggy daycare & house sitting at any time. I generally head to the seafront and beach, or a park, for dog walks. I can accept animals in my home and have an enclosed garden with no access to main roads. I can walk twice a day so dogs will get good exercise if they want it. I am flexible depending on what your pet needs.

“Hannah and Ryan have done a fantastic job with our very anxious dog, Tia. She absolutely adores them already and gets so excited whenever she sees them. Tia is a reactive dog and can be very nervous and scared of a lot of things, but Hannah and Ryan handle her with patience, understanding, and confidence. They have taken the time to get to know her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Every time Tia comes back from a walk, she is happy, relaxed, and clearly has had a wonderful time. It's such a relief knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. We couldn't recommend Hannah and Ryan highly enough!”

About: I have a huge love for dogs and animals in general, what I may lack in direct experience will definitely be made up in effort and patience! I volunteer for an animal rescue so am not afraid to get stuck in as well as being trusted to look after friends smaller pets. We have bottom opening windows so very safe for animals as they cannot jump out! Access to all rooms for the pets so they’re not restricted. I live close by to the sea and green space as well as owning a car so there are plenty of options for long or short varied walks.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and my family have re-homed various pets over the years. I also have experience in looking after puppies and kittens. “Sarah was so helpful in accepting a last minute request to walk my dog. She’s met him and looked after him before but this was the first time I’d booked on Rover for just a walk after I’d had an emergency that meant I couldn’t do it. She came to my house and gave Obi a lovely walk, listening carefully about and watching for his tendency to be reactive. I’m very grateful to Sarah for the extra effort she made and am lucky to know her for dog care from time to time. I highly recommend Sarah!”

“Linda was great with Belle, who is a fairly anxious dog. Linda allowed Belle to come to her calmly without fuss and took her out for a walk. I was really impressed with Linda’s approach with Belle and delighted I have found someone who Belle and I can trust. Thank you.”

About: I’ve always had animals at the centre of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years I’ve walked my friends’ dogs regularly and looked after a wide range of animals including horses, cats, tortoises and ducks. I’ve even gained hands-on experience working at an animal sanctuary in Australia, which strengthened my understanding of animal care and responsibility. I currently have three cats of my own, so I know just how important it is to trust someone with your pets. While I’m not able to have a dog full-time, Rover gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with them and provide the same love, care and attention I give my own pets. I take real pride in looking after animals and will always treat yours as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as I already care for my three cats every day, including feeding, grooming, play, litter maintenance, and monitoring their wellbeing. I also work flexibly from home, which allows me to easily fit pet care around my schedule and be present throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I also help look after friends’ pets when needed, including dog walking and cat sitting, so I’m experienced in balancing additional responsibilities alongside my routine. Because I genuinely enjoy being around animals, I naturally prioritise their care and make sure I’m attentive, reliable, and consistent whenever I’m looking after them. I will need to look after animals in the pet owners home. I follow the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. I take time to understand their specific needs, habits, and preferences, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and any medication or special care instructions. I always aim to provide calm, attentive, and respectful care, treating every pet as if they were my own while ensuring their home is left clean, tidy, and exactly as found.

“From initial meeting to picking Poppy up from her stay, Valentina was warm, professional and communicative. Poppy had such a fantastic time with Valentina and family! Wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Thanks Valentina!”

“I can’t recommend Talabi more highly, Monty had such a lovely time during his stay with Talabi, he was happy as a happy thing. We received pics and videos every day, Talabi was patient and spent time training Monty, she is absolutely fabulous and clearly a dog lover. I will not hesitate to use Talabi again in future, in fact, Monty is looking forward to his next visit. Thanks so much for taking such wonderful care of him.”

About: Ive been looking after dogs, cats, horses and small pets all my life, (professionally trained 10 years) I’m super confident with any pet and love animals more than anything, I know how important it is to find the right person to trust with your furry friend but I promise you that’s me! I can tailor you and your pets needs accordingly and am happy to chat about requirements etc! Im currently working 2 days a week online at home so I am home 7 days a week for the whole day. So I’m super available, my house is spacious with a lovley garden, and also surrounded by dog friendly parks and beautiful walks! Ive had dogs all my life so it’s very natural for a dog or cat to be at home. I’m comfortable with assuring your pet is fed, watered, walked and entertained for their full time with me. My house is very calm as well as it’s just me during the day, so your pet will have a stress free time. I’m also comfortable with medical assistance for pets as I’m really experienced with dogs and cats in medical emergencies etc.
“Lyla had the best time at Klaudija and Charlie’s with their lovely dog Lily! She enjoyed herself so much that she really didn’t want to come home and was so sad to leave. I will definitely be booking again. They were incredibly attentive, especially in the heat, with cooling mats, not walking too much in the heat and have a big garden. They put so much thought into keeping Lyla comfortable. I had absolutely no worries while she was with them. Thank you both so much, we can’t wait till next time! 🐾”

“Marcus and Shelley gave our 13 month old cocker spaniel a fantastic two days . They sent lots of photos/videos of him relaxing or on one of his many walks. Would not hesitate to leave him with them again.”

They kept us updated regularly, which gave us peace of mind throughout. It’s clear they love dogs and went above and beyond to ensure Stella was comfortable and happy. Thanks guys!”

“Georgina made our dog Bandit feel right at home. We had an initial walk to meet her dog Rupert who got on really well with Bandit. We received regular updates and Bandit came home calm and happy 🙌”

“Having Buddy stay with Matilde was such a positive experience. The booking was really last minute and Buddy had recently been in season so couldn’t go off the lead. Matilde was so accommodating and helpful buddy had a great time and came back relaxed and in her usual routine. Thank you!”

“Andrea looked after Rod and Dexter last minute after we were let down. She offered to meet us ahead of the boys staying. We received pictures during their stay and they looked like they had an amazing time! Would happily recommend and use Andrea again. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! At my family home, we had a golden retriever and retriever/lab cross who I walked and looked after. I now have my own dog Winnie (a super friendly golden retriever) who I have raised and trained since she was a puppy and cat Rupert who we recently adopted. I regularly look after my parents’ dog and my siblings’ dogs too, both overnight and for walks during the day. I work from home so have plenty of time to play with, cuddle and walk your dog. I have my own dog, Winnie, who I walk twice a day so dog walking fits easily into my schedule. I’m free most weekends to look after your dog overnight. I live with my boyfriend who might join us on walks occasionally. I have a fenced garden and my very friendly Winnie to keep your dog company. I also have a lovely cat called Rupert, who will pop in to say hello but stays mostly to himself in the daytime. I don’t have dogs upstairs or on the furniture but they’re free to roam around the downstairs and garden as they please!

“Joely was amazing! I left my doggo with her for four days and she took care of her really well and kept me updated the whole time. She was sending me photos and videos and I didn't have to worry about my dog ❤️ she's great and I definitely recommend her to anyone. We will also ask her to take care of her again”

“Petra and Olly are absolutely amazing. I always get nervous about leaving Lyla with new people, but they put me at ease straight away. They’re incredibly caring and kept me fully informed with great updates throughout. Lyla was so happy after her stay, which says everything. They took her out for lots of walks and were genuinely thoughtful and considerate the whole time. I couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, guys.”

“Honestly my dog bruce couldn't of been in better hands with Alex! It looked like he had the best time. Alex always kept me up to date with what bruce was up to and how he was doing with videos, this really gave me piece of mind knowing he's alright with a very caring crazy dog lover! Highly recommend Alex :)”
