“Liudmyla and Andrii were very communicative, trustworthy and followed all instructions! If you’re feeling anxious about leaving your dog/having them walked then I definitely recommend these guys. Will be using again 😊 thank you!”

About: With years of fostering rescue cats, hands-on experience at an animal rescue centre, and now sitting on Rover, I have developed a deep understanding of diverse animal needs. My work involved caring for and walking dogs of various breeds, each with unique backgrounds and abilities. This experience has honed my skills in providing individualised attention and support, ensuring every pet feels safe and loved. My passion for animal welfare drives me to go the extra mile so your furry friends will receive compassionate care tailored to their specific needs! As a work-from-home professional, my daily routine is perfectly suited for caring for your pet. During work hours, I can take breaks for walks and playtime, ensuring your dog receives the physical and mental stimulation they need. I’m available some weekends and am happy to offer overnight stays, providing your pet with a comfortable and loving environment. My private courtyard and secure front fence ensure that your dog can play freely without the risk of escaping. With no children or other pets in the house, your pet will enjoy a calm and quiet atmosphere.
“Sophie was so kind and lovely, Tommy came back beaming and had what looked like a very exciting walk, came back covered in mud 🫣. he had big zoomies after his much needed bath haha. Tommy clearly had the best time. I was very nervous for this as I’ve never had someone who wasn’t me or a house mate taking him on a walk but as soon as Sophie showed up I knew he was in good hands. So so thankful and definitely recommend her for other pups!!”

“Anoushka has been amazing, initially was a little apprehensive as she didn’t have many reviews. However she was so personal I felt confident booking & so glad I did. She’s been fantastic with Bailey, always bang on time, confident giving her pills & can tell she has a real care for dogs. The last walk Bailey had a seizure just before Anoushka arrived and she went above and beyond. Can’t recommend Anoushka enough.”

“Jamie was quick to respond when we were in a pinch, and really made the effort to make sure our dogs were comfortable with him before he came over to take care of them. Our dogs loved him, and we'll absolutely have him back!”

About: I've taken care of my own dog and my friends' and family's dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I've lived with cats since I was born and I had a dog from when I was 10 years old till a couple of years ago when she passed away, she was my best friend growing up and although I don't feel ready to get another dog I'd love to spend more time with dogs and cats and take care of them. Since I moved to Brighton from Italy I've been doing some dog and cat sitting, as much as my full time job allows me, I usually have 2 to 3 days off a week and I'm more than happy to spend some of my free time with dogs/cats. I've had my own dog since she was a puppy to when she was 14 years old and starting to need a lot of attention and care. My days off are usually Wednesday and Thursday (sometime Sunday too) so I am fully available to take care of your dog/cat/house on those days, but can still provide walks and drop ins on other days when needed! On my days off I'm available to come and stay at your place as long as needed, just keeping your pup/cat company or taking them out on walks, whether they need a slow and chill stroll around the neighborhood or a long walk at the park or in the downs. I'm very active so happy to keep energetic dogs entertained with long walks, runs and games. On a working day I can still come and visit (and walk) your dog/cat but I won't be able to stay over for too long.
“Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I've always been around dogs, and I also have a lovely dog called Napo so I will treat your dog with as much care and love as possible. I'm currently working full-time from home, I have time available on the weekend. I can have breaks as much as I want, also have lunch hour. I would prefer to stay at your place so the dog might feel comfortable while you are away. Of course they can stay at my place and I have a garden. Please beard in mind that I have a dog, and he is well-behaved.

I can promise to tailor you and your pets needs accordingly and am happy to chat about any requirements etc! And most importantly I can promise to keep your pet safe, happy and having the best time! Im currently working 2 days a week online at home so I am home 7 days a week for the whole day. So I’m super available, my house is spacious with a lovley garden, and also surrounded by dog friendly parks and beautiful walks! Ive had dogs all my life so it’s very natural for a dog or cat to be at home. I’m comfortable with assuring your pet is fed, watered, walked and entertained for their full time with me. My house is very calm as well as it’s just me during the day, so your pet will have a stress free time. “Beth has been walking our dog Merlin around brighton and he’s having the best time ❤️❤️ Beth’s always on time and very patient and gentle with Merlin - would recommend again and again!”

About: We moved from Cornwall three years ago so I could study, and my boyfriend Nathan works from home. He’s grown up with dogs his whole life, rescues and puppies included (he is verified on Rover too!!!) I’ve lived with his family dogs and helped out with dog walking and sitting for friends too. We live in a one-bedroom flat just off the seafront. While we don’t have a private garden, there’s a green space right outside and Queen’s Park is only a five-minute walk away, so plenty of room for walks and play. We just ask that no food with nuts is given due to a serious allergy, but we’re totally fine with raw food. I work part-time but during the week I am usually home. Nathan works from home, so there's always someone around. Your dog will never be left alone as we’re both usually here. Our flat is secure, bright, and comfortable, an inviting space for any dog to relax in. We do live by a road and up a flight of stairs but always carry small doggies! As stated, we live next to a garden and park so toilet trips aren’t far.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from my childhood cocker spaniel who I helped out with in his younger energetic years and into his older, unfortunately more sickly years, to the current family sprocker who, while adorable and loyal, is particularly timid due to experiences prior to our adoption of him. Over the years I have dog sat for friends and family, caring for dogs similar to those that I've grown up with, but also those with extra needs in the form of anxiety and varied routines. While I hope to adopt a dog in the future, sadly at the moment I am not in a position to have a full-time pet, but would love the chance to be around, and care for animals in the meantime! So far through Rover I've had the opportunity to look after a variety of dogs (and some lovely cats) with different needs and requirements who you'll see scattered throughout the pictures on my profile and have loved spending time with all of them and getting the chance to explore more of the walkable local area in the process. I also volunteer with a local lost pet charity as a media and email admin, helping in efforts to reunite missing and lost pets with their families, and occasionally assisting with their stall at local events, such as the RSPCA dog show earlier this year. I currently work full-time in marketing from home, leaving plenty of extra time in my schedule to play with, monitor and exercise pets. While I do have a monthly visit to the office, the rest of my schedule is manoeuvrable and easy to work around. While I am unable to have a pet full-time in my current home, I've had pets my entire life, having had energetic spaniels who needed plenty of walks and playtime, to looking after more relaxed, affection-centred Italian greyhounds. While I do work weekdays, my job allows for pets to be besides me (or, as tends to happen, asleep on my knee) throughout the day allowing an easy balance of work and attention, with plenty of spots for exercise within walking distance, including a park with lots of trees to keep the temperature down on hotter days a few minutes away.
“Jaz and Owen provide a excellent service and it is clear to see what animal lovers they are! Our pup had a great time on her walk and we will 100% be using them again! Communicative, flexible and well experienced. Thanks guys! Boda Can’t wait to hang out again!”

About: As an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, I bring a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their individual needs. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, and now share my own home with two dogs, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us - they’re family. Over the years, I’ve gained particular experience caring for dogs with anxiety, nervous temperaments and difficult pasts. I offer calm, patient companionship and aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible, helping them feel safe, secure and settled while their people are away. I was also completely horse obsessed growing up, so animals have always been a huge part of my life! I now have two dogs of my own: Maggie, a 6-year-old American Bulldog, and Peggy, a 5-year-old French Bulldog. They are the absolute loves of my life. A little about Maggie… Maggie came into my life when she was just 9 weeks old, after being rescued from a puppy farm. She arrived riddled with fleas, full of worms and absolutely terrified. She was so frightened that, for the first three weeks, she wouldn’t even eat. It took a lot of patience, consistency and trust-building. I began hand-feeding her until she felt safe and strong enough to eat independently. Slowly, day by day, she began to realise that she was safe. Fast-forward six years, and Maggie absolutely loves life. She adores other dogs and is a happy, loving girl. She still has moments when her anxiety gets the better of her, but together we’ve learned how to support her through those moments. This experience taught me so much about caring for anxious, rescued and sensitive dogs. It taught me the importance of patience, understanding and allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Most importantly, it taught me how much of a difference we can make simply by being a calm and consistent safe haven for an animal who needs one. Being Maggie’s mum has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Seeing her grow into the happy dog she is today makes me incredibly proud, and anxious dogs will always hold a particularly special place in my heart because of her. I’m very adaptable and happy to work around your pet’s individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m always happy to discuss any specific requirements, behaviours, anxieties or routines before a booking. I’m also confident administering medication, including oral medication such as pain relief, as well as eye drops and ear drops. If your pet has any other specific needs, please just let me know so we can discuss how I can best support them. I’ll follow their usual feeding, medication and rest routines as closely as possible, helping their day feel familiar and stress-free. Throughout the booking, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and being well cared for. Whether you have a playful puppy, an energetic adventurer, a nervous rescue or a senior companion, I’ll take the time to get to know them as an individual and care for them with the same patience, respect and love I would want for my own pets. My schedule is completely flexible, which means I can be there when you need me - whether that’s for regular walks, drop-in visits, daycare or overnight stays in your home. I am not currently offering boarding in my own home due to my dog recently having surgery. However I am available for pet sitting in your home.
“Really wonderful walker! She connected with Pepper, who is very shy and nervous around new people. Really really appreciate all her help, especially on a scorching hot bank holiday weekend when we had to be in London all day long. Sent us lots of pictures and even made sure Pepper's water bowl was full after the walk. Will definitely be booking with Balbina in the future!”

I would highly recommend Amanda for dog walking. She was great with my two chihuahua's. One of my dogs can be very anxious and I was worried about how he would cope with a dog walker but Amanda had no trouble forming a bond with him and getting him out for a walk.

So glad we found Stanley to regularly walk Urie, our energetic, excitable six year old Cavachon. There was an instant rapport between them, and Stanley's calm, assured manner allows Urie to relax and feel confident whenever he goes out with him. Right from the start, Stanley followed our guidelines carefully, being vigilant over possible triggers, and making sure that Urie always has a great time, and a proper workout with his ball. We couldn't be happier with Stanley, and like Urie, are always looking forward to his next walk with him.
Luna has been an absolute star this week while we’ve been on holiday. Her walks with woody have been thought out and she’s taken him some amazing new places. Not the usual round the block or local park for Luna. Her thoughtfulness and going above and beyond have been a real breath of fresh air. Thanks again for everything Luna we won’t hesitate to book you again x

Caroline was brilliant with Lima! She had a wonderful walk and she needs to feel very comfortable to go to the toilet but she did it on her first walk with Caroline! A miracle 😆 professional and very punctual, highly communicative! Recommend! I will definitely book with Caroline again and know that Lima is in safe hands :D

Alex was amazingly reassuring- we don’t have the need for a dog walker that often. It can feel quite daunting, especially when you have a ‘quirky dog’! However, things went well and we are really pleased that we have Alex on board!! Many thanks!!🙏🏼 Also, I must say, the most beautiful pics of a black dog (which can be challenging!)

Hannah and Ryan have done a fantastic job with our very anxious dog, Tia. She absolutely adores them already and gets so excited whenever she sees them. Tia is a reactive dog and can be very nervous and scared of a lot of things, but Hannah and Ryan handle her with patience, understanding, and confidence. They have taken the time to get to know her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Every time Tia comes back from a walk, she is happy, relaxed, and clearly has had a wonderful time. It's such a relief knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. We couldn't recommend Hannah and Ryan highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant dog sitter! Melissa kept me updated throughout with plenty of videos and even a video showing the property was locked up securely, which gave me complete piece of mind while I was away. She was available at short notice and I can’t recommend her more highly. Will definitely be booking again for baby Moose.

Really wonderful walker! She connected with Pepper, who is very shy and nervous around new people. Really really appreciate all her help, especially on a scorching hot bank holiday weekend when we had to be in London all day long. Sent us lots of pictures and even made sure Pepper's water bowl was full after the walk. Will definitely be booking with Balbina in the future!
