“Liudmyla and Andrii were very communicative, trustworthy and followed all instructions! If you’re feeling anxious about leaving your dog/having them walked then I definitely recommend these guys. Will be using again 😊 thank you!”

“Bethany was so so lovely. She picked the dogs up on time and managed two big breeds and one very energetic border collie all on her own. We got some great pictures after the walk and our boys looked so happy. They came back and both went to bed!!”

“Sophie was so kind and lovely, Tommy came back beaming and had what looked like a very exciting walk, came back covered in mud 🫣. he had big zoomies after his much needed bath haha. Tommy clearly had the best time. I was very nervous for this as I’ve never had someone who wasn’t me or a house mate taking him on a walk but as soon as Sophie showed up I knew he was in good hands. So so thankful and definitely recommend her for other pups!!”

About: With a lifetime of pet care experience, I've been the go-to for neighbors, friends, and family, handling walks, feeding, bathing, and house sitting since childhood. I expertly manage all life stages, adapting seamlessly to your pet’s routine and needs, including any medical necessities or young pet training. You can trust that your pet will receive loving, dependable care while you’re away. I am currently at university for my post-grad, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Pet care is integral to my routine, where I prioritize daily check-ins, ensuring they’re fed, exercised, and happy. I check in on a family friends pet on and off at the moment, adapting to specific needs, from medication schedules to special care routines. This consistent commitment ensures every pet receives the attention and quality care they deserve. In your home or mine, I provide top-notch care tailored to your pet’s needs. I ensure a clean, safe environment with consistent feeding, exercise, and enrichment activities. I follow any specific routines or instructions you provide, offering personalized attention and affection. The trail is near my home, so it's always fun (in past experiences) to go on walks/runs in the morning or evening with any pets I am caring for. Whether at home or yours, your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities. Photocards/Photo updates etc are usually shared through text based on owners preferences and speedier reliability!
About: I’ve taken care of neighbours dogs and eventually my family dog at home, and I miss them so much!! Thought I’d get my daily dose whilst meeting some new dogs too! I’m currently at university a few days a week, but completely willing to fit in walks between everything. I can pretty much do any day. I’m very confident walking dogs and creating boundaries whilst on walks if need be. I will listen to whatever requirements you have such as keeping your dog on a lead.
About: We moved from Cornwall three years ago so I could study, and my boyfriend Nathan works from home. He’s grown up with dogs his whole life, rescues and puppies included (he is verified on Rover too!!!) I’ve lived with his family dogs and helped out with dog walking and sitting for friends too. We live in a one-bedroom flat just off the seafront. While we don’t have a private garden, there’s a green space right outside and Queen’s Park is only a five-minute walk away, so plenty of room for walks and play. We just ask that no food with nuts is given due to a serious allergy, but we’re totally fine with raw food. I work part-time on weekends while I'm at university, but during the week I am home. Nathan works from home, so there's always someone around. Your dog will never be left alone as we’re both usually home. Our flat is secure, bright, and comfortable, an inviting space for any dog to relax in. We do live by a road and up a flight of stairs but always carry small doggies! As stated, we live next to a garden and park so toilet trips aren’t far.
About: Having grown up with 2 dogs and over 5 years experience dog and cat sitting with long term stays and regular dog walks. I have a lot of knowledge and a lot of love to give. I am working from home and I am really active so enjoy to walk a lot around the city and on the beach. I enjoy exploring new areas and walking in the downs. I am working remote so I am really available to make sure the animal is safe at my home and doesn’t feel lonely. I can also manage my planning to come and visit your home at any time that is necessary.
About: Dog lover and dog owner - I had dogs growing up, and have recently adopted my beautiful Bonnie. Over the last few years I've done a lot of dogsitting, from dachshunds to rottweilers. I live with my husband in Kemptown, and our life essentially revolves around dogs, so your pooch will be in good hands. I work a hybrid role, and my husband works fully remote, so there will always be someone caring for any dog we look after. Having a dog ourselves, walking and play time are already part of our daily lives. We have one friendly dog - a female terrier mix - so are in a good routine of regular walks. We have a good inside space, with dogs allowed downstairs and upstairs, and a patio. We are right by the sea, so take dogs in our care for nice long beach walks (off or on-lead, whichever is your preference), to Queen's Park for a run around. Or, for more energetic dogs, we regularly take our Bonnie hiking in the Downs, or for long walks at Stanmer Park.
“Andra is amazing! Our little princess can be tricky to take out for a walk sometimes but Andra took time to get to know her, made a connection and managed to have 2 lovely walks! Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: With years of fostering rescue cats, hands-on experience at an animal rescue centre, and now sitting on Rover, I have developed a deep understanding of diverse animal needs. My work involved caring for and walking dogs of various breeds, each with unique backgrounds and abilities. This experience has honed my skills in providing individualised attention and support, ensuring every pet feels safe and loved. My passion for animal welfare drives me to go the extra mile so your furry friends will receive compassionate care tailored to their specific needs! As a work-from-home professional, my daily routine is perfectly suited for caring for your pet. During work hours, I can take breaks for walks and playtime, ensuring your dog receives the physical and mental stimulation they need. I’m available some weekends and am happy to offer overnight stays, providing your pet with a comfortable and loving environment. My private courtyard and secure front fence ensure that your dog can play freely without the risk of escaping. With no children or other pets in the house, your pet will enjoy a calm and quiet atmosphere.
“Amy has had a great first few walks with Cassia. We had an initial pre-walk meeting and Cassia was lovely, a genuine animal lover who understands the foibles of dogs with personality! Communication has been easy and speedy and I've had some detailed post walk reports and photos. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Thank you Kei for looking after Billy and continuing the crate training, I’m so pleased you can see the progress. Billy was very chilled when I came home, he must have had a good time on his walk. I highly recommend Kei, he is a natural with dogs.”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since the age of fifteen, with friends relying on me to walk and take care of their dogs whenever they went away. I've owned a cat for a number of years who requires medicine every morning with her breakfast, so I am experienced in administering medicine to pets, in this case I crushed up a pill to put in her wet food. I'm currently on summer break from university, so have plenty of time to play with, feed, and walk your pups and cats as needed! Available on short notice As I'm living in a small shared flat, unfortunately I cannot accommodate pets in my own home, however I'm more than happy to come over to care for your pets in your home! I'd be delighted to play with them, take them out for a run around the garden, feed them, and administer medicine if needed

I often like going to devils dyke and the Seven Sisters on walks! I have a pretty flexible schedule as I have a small part time job therefore having a lot of free time to engage in different activities and opportunities aswell as accommodate yours and your pets needs! I can feed, walk and give your pet company as and when you need. I have a safe environment and lots of parks nearby to take your pet on lovely walks and to play. I can be a companion for your pet or take care of them at home whilst you are busy!
“Laura took Eddy, our border terrier, for a walk to get to know him before he comes to stay with her in January. He’s a very lively and excitable dog but we could see straightaway that he was in safe, experienced hands and they had a very successful walk together. She’s also a lovely person and a very talented artist!”

“I don’t know who’s more jn love with Kiki. Me or the pups. They had so so much fun they didn’t want her to leave, I didn’t either and now even I want to go walkies with her! We’re keeping her so if you want her too you may have to share!”

“Ting’s communication throughout the whole process was great, and she let me know how my older ( and slightly stubborn!) dog was on both her walks. She also walked in the direction Heidi wanted to go, which I thought was great!”

Brighton dog owners share their Rover experiences
Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x

She did a fantastic job walking my dog. I requested at short notice and she was able to come the next day. My dog was clearly very happy when she arrived and after the walk — you could tell she’d been well cared for. She also sent frequent photos during the walk, which I really appreciated. Reliable, friendly, and professional — would happily book her again.

Risa was lovely and very communicative. I trusted her instantly and felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care and my dog absolutely adored her! Risa gave regular ‘pupdates’ throughout the walk and left me reassured that my dog was well taken care of. I highly recommend!

Chris was absolutely fantastic with my dog, who has quite complex behavioural issues. Before the walk he took the time to really understand her triggers, needs, and how best to handle different situations. It was clear he genuinely cared about getting it right. Roo came back from the walk happy and completely exhausted, she didn’t move for the rest of the evening which is always the sign of a brilliant walk! It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and thoughtful hands. I’d absolutely recommend Chris to anyone, especially if your dog needs a bit of extra understanding and care.

I contacted Sophie late notice the evening before I needed my 9 month old puppy walking for the next day. This was due to me throwing my back out! Sophie was very quick to respond. She was punctual and I instantly trusted her with my pup. She took lovely photos and my pup came back full of beans and so happy from her walk. I couldn’t recommend Sophie enough!

Suzana is an amazing dog sitter and her two dogs are just as friendly and loving as her. My dog can get anxious when left with people over night but he settled right in and had a lovely time with her. She has a huge heart and provides a sanctuary of calm and attentive care and is very reassuring and communicative! Habibi is looking forward to his next visit already!!

Alice did a brilliant job with our rescue Lima. She came and met her beforehand and they had an instant bond. Lima was clearly very comfortable with her and Alice listened to her cues to give her the best walk. I would definitely recommend and will definitely book with Alice again! I knew Lima was in safe hands. Thank you, Alice!!
