I am a full-time mature BSc student in Brighton, which takes up about 3 days a week and I usually work 1 day at my job during term times. Due to these commitments, I am sadly unable to have a pet of my own. My flexibility will vary depending on my schedule, which from September, I should be aware of at least 5 weeks in advance. I will easily fit in time with your furry friends during these commitments, and maybe they can help me to study!

I live in a ground floor flat with access to our own secure outdoor space, however, this is stones and decking but plenty of space for sniffing and roaming around, or lounging in the sun with me when we’re not out on a walk! A well-behaved dog will have access to all spaces, including my bedroom. We live a very short walk from plenty of local dog-friendly parks in Hove, and a little further is the beach! Please note that I am not comfortable with off-lead walks, happy to use long training leads, etc, unless in a very secure area. I want to keep your pet safe and secure the entire time!

Information Jade F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your furry friend has any special dietary requirements with foods that need to be avoided. Also, if there are any medical conditions I need to be aware of, I will ask for details of your registered vet to have access to in the event of an emergency. I would also like to know how your dog behaves with other dogs that we may encounter on walks, and whether I need to avoid busier areas, or avoid any specific parks, etc.
A typical day
Together, we'll explore the local area and visit some of the parks that Hove has to offer, allowing your dog time to stop and smell everything! At home, we can play with toys, practice any commands you're trying to teach them and do problem-solving games (like treats wrapped in a towel) to encourage their natural foraging instincts and keep them engaged! If your dog enjoys the company of children, my younger brother (12) would be happy to run around with your pooch to tire them both out!

Pet care experience
I used to work with a local dog walker/boarder and mixed with plenty of doggos during this time! I’ve also had dogs in my family since I was a child! A Dalmatian, Chihuahuas, Jack Russel x Chihuahua’s, and more recently a lovely Frenchie. However, I currently am unable to have a pet of my own due to the demands of my degree. I love animals, and you can be sure that your pet will be the centre of my attention whilst I am with them!

Jade is always so kind to my girls! I have a senior pittie and 2 cats. One of my cats has health issues and Jade always is kind and patient with her when administering meds as needed. She takes my dog Roxie for walks and plays in our fenced backyard with her. Roxie is always so happy to see her! Will absolutely continue to use her when traveling or need extra walks for my pup. She has such a warm and kind personality. Highly recommend!
