My pet care journey started early—growing up with dogs taught me the fundamentals of canine companionship, from basic training cues to reading their moods and ensuring they get plenty of exercise. Later in life, I opened my heart to cats and have lovingly raised three of them over the years. This gave me firsthand experience with everything from kitten zoomies to senior cat care, and I know exactly how important it is to keep their routines strictly on track. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. When your pets are with me, they’ll get plenty of attention, safety-first supervision, and all the head scratches they desire! I receive my work roster on a monthly basis, which allows me to plan my pet-sitting availability well in advance! Every month, I completely update my Rover calendar to show exactly which days I am open for overnight stays, walkies, or drop-in visits. Because I grew up with dogs and have raised three cats, I know how critical consistency is for animals. Once a booking is on my schedule, your pet’s feeding, walking, and medication routine becomes my top priority for that day—completely tailored to what they are used to at home. When caring for your pets in your home, their safety and maintaining their normal routine are my top priorities. Growing up with dogs and raising three cats of my own has taught me that animals feel most secure when their schedules don't change. I closely follow all instructions regarding feeding times, outdoor/exercise schedules, and medication if needed. Safety & Trust: I am extremely respectful of your home and privacy. I double-check that all doors and gates are securely locked during visits or walks, and I never leave a dog off-leash in unsecured areas. For cats, I make sure windows and doors are shut tightly so indoor kitties stay safe inside. You will receive regular photo updates and messages after every visit so you know exactly how your pet is doing. The Environment: I focus on keeping your home clean and calm. I make sure litter boxes are scooped daily, food bowls are washed, and any mess is cleaned up immediately so you can return to a tidy house and happy, relaxed pets.

Booking with her was a very easy choice as she responded really quickly, her home seemed like a safe environment for our wee man and we liked that her work from home schedule meant she was always around to keep Mowgli company. We were able to arrange Mowgli's pick up and drop off quickly and easily and Emma let us know exactly what she needed us to bring to make sure Mowgli would be comfortable and settled with her. Mowgli is getting a bit older and has a bad back so didn't need much exercise - just toilet breaks and plenty of cuddles. Emma was more than happy to accommodate and adapt to his specific needs and look after him like he was her own pup and really make him feel at home. Emma kept us up to date with lots of photos and messages and we could see how much he loved her and her home and how well looked after he was. We would absolutely recommend Emma as a sitter for your pup or kitty and we will definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you so much for looking after Mr. Mowgli so well!”

About: I grew up in the countryside with a huge menagerie, including ponies, horses, donkeys, peafowl, ducks, hens and loads of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. I have been dog and cat sitting the last ten years since my own Cocker Spaniel died - I have a borrow my doggy dog a day a week, for the last two and a half years who is dear to my heart, and have enjoyed over 14 sits with dogs and cats through Trusted House Sitters this last year. I have 5 star reviews every time. Being with animals genuinely makes me so happy! Every dog I look after I fall in love with. Cats too... I love walking and discovering new places so why not give me a try, I promise to give your pets all the love and the attention they deserve. I am flexible with hours as work part time, free some weekends and for sleepovers. I am happy to travel short distances to your home. I have a garden for dogs to use and am close to the seafront for lots of walks, countryside too. I always follow owners rules about walking their dogs, am mindful of how other dogs might interact with the dogs I am looking after, and careful with roads and fast moving water. I check pets for ticks and always carry a tick remover. I interact with your pets to keep them stimulated if need be, and give tons of love! I am experienced with administering medication to animals and always make sure it has been taken! If am driving your dogs around I make sure they are secure in my camper van and use a harness to make sure they are safe.
