About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have grown up around pets — both cats and dogs. I'm vegan and genuinely care deeply about animal wellbeing. Recently, I looked after my sister-in-law’s small, nervous dog for three weeks, including supporting crate training and settling into a calm routine, which we absolutely loved. That experience is what inspired me to join Rover. I'm patient, attentive, and committed to giving every pet a safe, relaxed, and caring experience. I currently work from home, which means I’m around during the day to look after furry pals, including short walks or check-ins at lunch. I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding during the evenings in the week. At weekends I’m very flexible and, when free, would love to spend time with pets then too. This flexibility means I can fit pet care naturally into my daily routine and give animals plenty of attention rather than rushing visits. I live in a one-bedroom flat with laminate floors and a small fenced garden. About: I grew up on a farm constantly surrounded by lots of animals, especially dogs where I had to care for up to 16 in our farms kennels! I love the company of animals and the joy they bring whilst giving them good quality care. I have a part time job therefore I am quite flexible to care and walk your adorable pet. I often like going to devils dyke and the Seven Sisters on walks! About: I used to work with a local dog walker/boarder and mixed with plenty of doggos during this time! I’ve also had dogs in my family since I was a child! A Dalmatian, Chihuahuas, Jack Russel x Chihuahua’s, and more recently a lovely Frenchie. However, I currently am unable to have a pet of my own due to the demands of my degree. I love animals, and you can be sure that your pet will be the centre of my attention whilst I am with them! I am a full-time mature BSc student in Brighton, which takes up about 3 days a week and I usually work 1 day at my job during term times. Due to these commitments, I am sadly unable to have a pet of my own. My flexibility will vary depending on my schedule, which from September, I should be aware of at least 5 weeks in advance. I will easily fit in time with your furry friends during these commitments, and maybe they can help me to study! I live in a ground floor flat with access to our own secure outdoor space, however, this is stones and decking but plenty of space for sniffing and roaming around, or lounging in the sun with me when we’re not out on a walk! A well-behaved dog will have access to all spaces, including my bedroom. We live a very short walk from plenty of local dog-friendly parks in Hove, and a little further is the beach! Please note that I am not comfortable with off-lead walks, happy to use long training leads, etc, unless in a very secure area. I want to keep your pet safe and secure the entire time!

About: I’ve had several dogs in my family across the years, including a golden retriever (m) and a jack Russell (f), as well as two cats a tabby (m), and a black cat (f). We still have our lovely black cat luna, and I recently got my mum our Freddie, who is a dachshund mixed with a cocker spaniel. I’ve got lots of experience looking after family friend dogs. I love going on long walks, or along the beach I work a 9 to 5 in central Brighton. I’m based in hove and walk to work every day, with time in the mornings and evenings to do walks or any general duties. Availability to home sit. If the home is situated near central Brighton I complete check ins/wee breaks and feeding during lunch times. Lots of availability across the weekends! I have a large fenced garden and a large park near by to my home to walk, as well as a 20 minute walk to the beach!

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 8 and was the one who begged my parents to get her, I helped by taking care of her when they were away, feeding, playing and walking her and was also there with my mum when she was being trained basics Just message me for availability in advance !!!!! We ended up arranging a dog sitting service last minute, but Samuel was so quick to respond that everything was easy to sort out. When he came round to meet our dog he was great with him, and when we were out the arranged visits all went as planned with updates and photos all as expected. We came home to a happy and relaxed dog and we are very pleased to have found Samuel to help out at such short notice!
We were really happy with the care our dog, Lina received from Lana. Lana was able to look after our dog in our own home which meant that they could stay in familiar surroundings. Lana took Lina for a walk around the neighbourhood and seemed very happy when we returned. Oona was happy to meet for a meet and greet before the first sit, and when it came to the actual sit, she was punctual, reliable and communicative and sent photos of the dogs while they played and hung out together. I’d definitely recommend Oona. I knew my dogs were in good hands with her. I’ll hopefully use her services again soon!
Eleanor is fantastic with our cocker spaniel, really reliable, friendly, professional and sends updates / gives peace of mind. Alfie loves her and she’s been great at adjusting the visits for walks to playing/ enrichment based on the weather / what Alfie needs. Would definitely recommend :)
Kendall is a fabulous dog sitter 🌟 It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone and Kendall made us feel so comfortable, with getting to know us before & sending us updates throughout the visit. We can tell Ozzy had a lovely time with Kendall (and misses her already!) Our dog has a very specific routine that Kendall stuck to to make him comfortable. Johanna’s first two one hour visits with Sookie went really well. Sookie is a nervous rescue and can take a bit of time to warm up to new people. But with Johanna, she seemed to get very comfortable very quickly. Approaching her, choosing to lie near her, and having a snooze. And then on the second visit she put her head on her legs! Johanna has taken things at Sookie’s pace and my dog has quickly felt safe and happy with her.
After a successful couple of meet & greets, Beth’s first one hour visit seemed to go well. Sookie is a nervous rescue and can take time to warm up to new people. Although she wasn’t brave enough to approach Beth that day, she was comfortable and relaxed enough to have a snooze while she was there. Which shows that she isn’t overly worried about Beth, who didn’t try to push things too fast and went at Sookie’s pace, allowing her to feel that relaxed she could close her eyes. Very happy with Beth and her knowledge of handling nervous dogs.
