Hi I'm Kaya and here's a little bit about me and my experience working with animals... Right now I'm at university between my 2nd and 3rd year of a zoology degree. I've always had a lot of interest in the environment, wildlife, animals, etc..Initially I got a diploma in animal management which taught first aid training, and behavioural and practical care. I worked a little at a vets during this time. I also worked in Turkey for 2 months at a dog sanctuary rehabilitating and caring for strays The dogs were mainly large breeds, many had behavioural issues and/or health conditions. We did our best care for them and train healthy behaviours so they could be adopted out abroad into loving homes. There were about 80 at the sanctuary whilst I was there, I put some pics of them above :) I also worked in a rescue in England with other domestic (mostly cats and rodents) and farm animals before this. After I finish my degree I'm hoping to work in conservation Since I have lots of time in the summer and only work occassionally I'm hoping to fill my time over the summer taking care of peoples pets - I already take care of a 2 year old lab/spaniel cross called Daisy who is often with me and may come along on walks where suitable (she is a friendly girl)
