I would of course treat someone’s home with respect and care as a guest, follow the routine of what the animal normally has and give a lot of reassurance and TLC to the animal in my care.

I would need to know if a dog is reactive/aggressive or triggered by anything (other dogs, children, men etc.). If/ and what medication they would need. Dietary requirements, allergies etc.
A typical day
Depending on the age of the dog and it’s personality, if it’s a puppy ensuring it’s engaging in activity’s to keep it busy (scent games, tug, kongs, puzzle games etc.). If the dog is senior gentle walking in familiar surroundings, it depends on the activity level on the dog I would be with.

I have helped walk dogs for my mum for over ten years, she would board puppies, nervous and reactive dogs, senior, big, small and everything in-between, she trusts me with the dogs she walks, she is training to become a canine behaviourist. I have an animal management BTEC level 3 DMM. I also worked in a vets for over a year working with different dogs and cats.

Oona was happy to meet for a meet and greet before the first sit, and when it came to the actual sit, she was punctual, reliable and communicative and sent photos of the dogs while they played and hung out together. I’d definitely recommend Oona. I knew my dogs were in good hands with her. I’ll hopefully use her services again soon!
Oona was great, very helpful accepting a last minute booking! She came and met Enzo beforehand and on the day kept us up do date throughout on what he was up to! 😀
Oona was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond with our cat, and made sure to keep us updated with a combination of photos and videos throughout her visits. Oona followed the instructions exactly as we had asked and did a fantastic job at ensuring our cat was both well taken care of and more importantly, kept her happy and safe. I would recommend Oona to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
