About: “Sniff, Explore, Exercise — Walks Tailored to Your Dog’s World.” Follow Their Nose Dog Walking I’ve spent 22 years caring for my own dogs, from raising my first boy from an eight‑week‑old puppy to supporting him through heart problems and dementia until he passed peacefully at 17. My second dog Marvin was diagnosed with a liver shunt and complex health needs two years ago and I have cared for him during his surgery and healing, teaching me the importance of patience, gentle enrichment, and adapting walks to suit a dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing. These experiences shaped my passion for supporting senior dogs, nervous dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs who have experienced trauma. I understand how much they benefit from calm handling, predictable routines, and walks that allow them to feel safe and in control. I’ve also volunteered at Raystede Animal Welfare centre, which strengthened my commitment to compassionate, ethical care and deepened my understanding of how different dogs communicate stress, curiosity, and comfort. My Approach I’m happy to walk all dogs, including those who simply need a good exercise walk. But my specialist focus is enrichment‑led sniff walks, backed by research showing that sniffing reduces stress, boosts confidence, and provides powerful mental and physical stimulation. Every walk is tailored to the dog in front of me, whether they need a brisk stretch, a slow confidence‑building sniffari adventure, or a gentle senior‑friendly outing. What I Offer A calm, patient, understanding approach Experience with senior, anxious, reactive, and medically complex dogs Exercise walks for all breeds and energy levels Specialist sniff walks that support emotional wellbeing Walks designed around enrichment, exploration, and choice Follow Their Nose Dog Walking is built on one belief: Dogs thrive when we let them be dogs—sniffing, exploring, and experiencing the world at their own pace. Completed Pet First Aid L2 (VTQ) Training with ProTrainings.UK renewal date 5 July 2029. Caring is at the heart of everything I do. I work Monday to Thursday for an older people’s charity, so empathy, patience and support are already part of my daily life. Pet care naturally fits alongside this — it’s something I genuinely love, not something I squeeze in. I offer dog walking 6.30pm–10pm Monday to Thursday, which is perfect for owners who work late, need evening support, or want their dog to have a calming enrichment walk before bedtime. I’m also fully available all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving clients plenty of flexibility for regular walks, weekend adventures, or last‑minute bookings. My own 22 years of caring for dogs with complex needs has shaped how I work: calmly, gently and with a deep understanding of senior dogs, nervous dogs and those who need a little extra patience. Whether it’s an energetic dog needing exercise or a sensitive dog needing a slow, sniff‑led walk, I build my routine around what helps them feel safe, stimulated and happy. Pet care isn’t an add‑on to my week — it’s a natural extension of who I am and the work I’ve always done: supporting others with compassion and consistency. I prioritise safety, calm handling and consistency in every service I offer. For dog walking, I use secure equipment, choose safe routes and tailor the pace to each dog’s needs whether that’s a brisk exercise walk or a gentle, enrichment‑led sniff walk. For pet sitting in an owner’s home, I follow the dog’s usual routine to keep them settled and stress‑free, treating both the home and the pet with the same care I give my own. My friendly Jack Russell can also join walks if a dog would benefit from a confident, sociable companion always optional and based on what suits each individual dog.

About: Hi, I’m a friendly dog lover and I know how important it is to find someone you can really trust with your dog. I had a beautiful Japanese Akita who sadly passed away from cancer, so dogs have a very special place in my heart. I’ll treat your dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently in a peroid of changing jobs where I have more time before starting my new position. Therefore, I have time where I would like to spend time looking after dogs, somethingbI am very passionate of after having my own. I have a fenced up large size garden, where you furry friend can roam around, with lots of nearby country walks for longer walks. I can also come to you if it is more suitable for you and your dog.

About: I have experienced with both the young and the old and happy to give medicine as required. I’m calm and caring around different natured animals My children are now grown up, giving me more time. My love for animals, allows me to help others with their animals. I have been spending time, house-sitting, as we have not currently got a dog or cat (for the first time in a very long time) and enjoying the travels to do so.. Therefore, I plan to continue, pet/housesitting, before committing ourselves to rescuing again in the future. I have experienced pets are far more settled in their own environment, therefore, I feel it’s important, for me to fit in with their needs. It depends on the owners requests, as depending on the dog or cats age and needs, I am happy to take them out locally or in my car. I am happy in the rain and love to investigate new areas and walks.

Please do not hesitate to ask for lower prices, I’m willing to accept offers!☺️I’m currently working on a zero hour contract so I have flexibility for your pets. On days of working, I can get up early to ensure your pet has been out for a morning walk and to the toilet. I have a furbo so I can watch your pets whilst at work, and I do 6 hour days at most so your animals will not be left too long. Water and food always put down with plenty of toys! I will set up a cozy corner for your animal to rest, have plenty of treats and calming scents at the ready for any anxious ones! Always happy to have lots of cuddles and walks to let off energy.

About: 🐾 All the Experience, All the Care, All the Love! Hello pet parents! We are a dedicated, highly experienced dog-sitting couple offering both premium house-sitting services and a safe, affectionate home-away-from-home boarding experience in Bexhill. If there's one thing better than a passionate animal caregiver watching your pet, it's a thoroughly experienced team. My partner Leah and I are both equally trained and adept lifelong pet lovers. Whether your dog is a bouncy puppy, an energetic powerhouse, a reactive rescue, or a gentle senior who just wants to snooze, we have the hands-on experience to provide the ultimate tailored care. I absolutely LOVE this work. I am miles away from the 'compassion burnout' many sitters report, and together, Leah and I feel we have found our calling. ✨ The Short & Sweet Version For those looking for the quick facts, here is what we bring to the table: Extensive Track Record: 3+ years of professional sitting, 150+ pets cared for, and 80+ happy households globally (USA, NZ, Australia, Asia, UK) with exclusively 5⭐ reviews. Lifelong Knowledge: 15+ years of owning and raising pets, complete with extensive behavioral and training knowledge. Total Reliability: We have a 100% commitment record. We have never canceled a sit. All Needs Covered: We are highly skilled with young puppies, elderly dogs, medication administration, emergencies, anxiety, and reactivity. We've done it all. 24/7 High-Engagement Care: We do this full-time with a highly flexible schedule, meaning there is always someone present with your pet. Peace of Mind: Daily updates, videos, and photos are sent without fail. Above & Beyond: Free meet-and-greets, 'lead-up' visits, and complimentary training skill reinforcement if requested. Budget Friendly: We are open to working with parents to establish a budget or payment structure tailored to your needs. 🏡 Your Dog’s Holiday Home in Bexhill We have recently opened our home in Bexhill for exclusive dog boarding! A Safe, Pet-Free Haven: We live in a spacious house with a secure garden. We currently have no other pets or animals in the home, meaning your dog gets 100% of our undivided attention. Beach Adventures: We are incredibly lucky to live just a 15-minute walk from the sea. Your dog’s days will be filled with engaging play, endless sniffs, beach walks, and boundless affection. 🏡 Exceptional House Sitting & Home Care If you prefer your pets to stay in their own environment, our house-sitting service is the most intensive and dedicated form of pet care available. Caring for animals from morning until night—handling difficult walks, precise feeding routines, separation anxiety, or end-of-life care—is second nature to us. Furthermore, we handle your home with the utmost diligence. My TrustedHouseSitters and Airbnb profiles demonstrate that I am a considerate and tidy housekeeper. Having previously worked as a janitor, I am incredibly thorough. I have a green thumb for plants, prioritize your home's security, and am always happy to perform routine maintenance. Returning a home in the same or better condition than when we arrived is a point of strong personal pride. 🐕 Our Hall of Fame: Pets We've Loved Our history of raising our own pets and caring for others is exhaustive, covering a massive range of temperaments, strength, and confidence levels. You can check out some fun videos I've made while sitting on Instagram. Pets We've Owned Over the years we have raised West Highland Terriers, Shiba Inus, Yorkshire Terriers, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a Rottweiler, a Golden Retriever, a German Shepherd, cats (including a Russian Blue), chinchillas, and even a frog! Global Sits: Large & Powerful Breeds We are confident handlers for big dogs. Our sits include Great Danes in Australia, German Shepherd/Husky mixes in the UK, a Labrador/GSD mix in California, Golden Labs in the USA, Rough Collies, Boxers, and many more. Global Sits: Small & Medium Breeds We have cared for Bull Terriers, Basset Hounds, Bichon Frises, French Bulldogs, Westies, Shih Tzus, Poodles, Pomeranians, Dandy Dinmonts, and Chihuahuas. Feline & Exotic Friends We have looked after countless cats across Thailand, the UK, and the USA, plus multiple rabbits, lizards, and chinchillas globally. ...And So Many More! Please note, the lists above are just a snapshot! We have cared for so many more breeds and mixes than we could possibly fit into this biography. Whatever your dog's breed, background, or quirks, chances are we have the hands-on experience to make them feel completely at home. We are the sitters you can rely on to give you double the assurance of anyone else on the market. We don't just watch your pets; we welcome them into our family. I am self-employed with minor side gigs, enjoy quiet evenings in and regular trips out into nature. I'm a very homey person and will be with and available for your animals the entire time I am with them. Providing pets with exercise, love, safety and my undivided attention is something I dedicate myself to. None of my side gigs are time intensive so feel assured I'm an extremely present sitter. Daily videos, pictures, updates and even walk tracking reports will give you complete peace of mind that your beloved pet is receiving above and beyond what mum/dad paid for. Just reach out and let's chat about your needs! My goal when house sitting is to provide COMPLETE peace of mind to travelers and pet parents who need truly loving replacements! As someone who loves going abroad and has my own dogs, I understand fully just how difficult it can be to balance the two. Trusting your beloved family members to anyone is always nerve wracking and full of uncertainty. That's what I'm here remove! I know just how valuable complete peace of mind is when you're travelling. How transformative it can be as a pet parent who wants to be present during their trip away. I also understand that achieving complete peace of mind is different for each parent. Discovering and encouraging parents to share every detail of their hopes, wants and expectations during a sit is my motto. Nothing is 'too much' to ask when it comes to achieving your complete peace of mind. Be as picky as you like. I am here for YOU! In regards to safety, trust and environment. As sitters we know that some pet parents may want cameras inside or outside the house. While I have no issue with this, I do require for that they be disclosed and depending on their location, disconnected during the sit. I've experienced cameras in bathrooms before and noone wants to see that! 😆

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, mainly working with large breeds and hybrids. I started a local walking group in 2021, the Walshes Wolf pack, soon after getting my now 5yr old puppy, 'Shadow' an energetic, pedigree Alaskan Malamute. With him by my side and a few amazing owners of exotic and large breed dogs we bonded together and started to show the local community the power of a pack! I went to the Open Study College and got my degree in Canine Studies in 2023, along with qualifications in canine first aid, CPR and Emotional Support Therapies, working along side local charities. Located in Hastings at the time I set up my training school, Lead By Example Canine College. Offering affordable support and training to all dogs and owners regardless of ability or circumstance. My partner Lucy is a self taught and experienced expert in Canine Hospitality. Her calming presence and skills provide any dog liable to anxieties whilst owners are away, she provides ultimate comfort and reassurance that your pets will be treated in the appropriate way to come back to a happy Dog. Since moving back to Crowborough from Hastings for personal reasons I've had to take a step back from hands-on training. Re-branding to dog sitting, walking and group therapy. Whilst I Undertake my further education. Will you join the pack? I'm currently freelance as I am studying further for a Degree in Canine Science and Nutrition, so am free to sit pretty much daily as I can squeeze in study time whilst on the job Lucy is available to help us at the Start of any service to help the transition of 'New faces' and the potential anxieties your dogs may face during your temporary absence. If a dog is struggling during this period, she will be able to assist us when and if necessary. I am acquainted in all areas of canine needs, routines and discipline, be it from crate training to simple time outs. Whilst studying the 'tail talk' of canines and their many traits. I can immediately identify concerns and behaviours, correcting them appropriately and swiftly with the utmost professionalism. Between myself and Lucy, we can confidently reassure you that we are the perfect team for any service and additional needs you may require of us for your pet to have the most seamless, comfortable experience. About: I’ve played a massive role in looking after my own dog which has been the family pet for 7 years now, I did all of his training when he was a puppy. I’ve also looked after someone else’s dog when I was in Brighton and took the dog for walks, as well as looking after her in her owners house and in my own home. I’m currently only working part time and usually work from home most Wednesdays. So my schedule is currently quite flexible to fit in and around caring for your pets! Looking after someone’s dog in their home I would make sure that the dog is well occupied and entertained by going on walks and lots of play time. And very respectful that I’m in someone else’s home. In my home I live opposite the beach so lots of walks and relaxing on my sofa!

About: Now taking bookings for February half term and the Easter holidays! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO MY FULL-TIME DAY JOB, I AM ONLY AVAILABLE ON OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. Taking care of dogs is the best job in the world! I've loved working on Rover for the opportunity to take care of the amazing dogs in Sussex. I am a former President of the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society and through this, I had the chance to interact with owners and fellow walkers to gain a substantial knowledge of dog care and dog breed information. I have taken care of a variety of dogs; big and small, young and old, abled and disabled so I have no issue taking care of any type of dog. I am trained in dog first aid training so you don't have to worry about any issue that may arise. Whilst working in the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society, I look after a rescue dog named Maggie and her sister Millie . They have taught me so much about dog care and the love that I have for dogs and have thus inspired me to help out other dog owners in caring for their dogs when they need it. •Please be aware that 15% of payments goes to Rover to cover ongoing support, educational opportunities, and promotion of services. Therefore, my rates are: House Sitting - £21.25 + £3.75 to Rover = £25 Dog Walking – £12.75 + £2.25 to Rover = £15 Drop-In Visits - £10.20 + £1.80 to Rover = £12 Thank you for your understanding! • Walks last for 30 minutes unless the 60 minute supplement is added by the owner. Adding the supplement gives myself and your dog(s) the opportunity to travel further afield such as to Eastbourne Beach or into the Downs. I also choose to take care of dogs from one household at a time so that I can invest my full energy towards those dogs. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. During our meet and greet, I will learn as much as I can about the daily schedule of your dog(s) and how I can seamlessly enter the household without interruption. Doggy day care and dog boarding will include playtime, cuddles and interactions with other people.

About: I’ve grown up with my German shepherd, Juno, who’s been my companion through everything from beach trips to snowy adventures. Now that she’s older, I’ve become familiar with giving her the daily medication she needs. Juno’s not great with other dogs, which has given me a lot of experience handling different types of dog behaviors, especially when it comes to bigger or more reactive dogs. I’ve always had a love for walking dogs and exploring new areas with them. I’m confident with any type of dog, no matter the size or temperament. I know how important pets are to their families, and I’d take care of yours like they were my own. Experienced, reliable, and passionate about dogs. Back in the U.S., I cared for my own German Shepherd, Juno, so I know how important trust and quality care are. Whether it's an energizing walk or a relaxed stroll, I provide premium care tailored to your dog's needs. Safety, trust, and quality care are my priorities. I treat every dog like my own, ensuring walks are enjoyable yet safe. I’m mindful of their needs, avoiding busy areas if necessary and staying alert to any hazards. With me, your dog is in reliable hands!

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I am currently doing a dog grooming course to learn more about dog and to spend even more time with them I’m currently working full time, but I want to start doing dog grooming and walking full time as I have always loved the idea of this. Eventually you should be about to hire me any time and any day When walking they will only walk on the path side not closes to the road this is important so there’s no chance of the dog getting to close to cars
