About: I have over 12 years’ experience caring for my own four family dogs, so looking after pets really is second nature to me. I know every dog is different and I’m always happy to go at their pace, whether that’s a good long walk, a walk round the block, or just plenty of fuss and company while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog will never be left alone. They will always have company, attention and cuddles throughout the day. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved. I’m available for walks during lunchtime, evenings, and weekends, so whether your dog needs a midday stroll or a weekend adventure, I’ve got it covered. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. During walks, I keep dogs on the lead and pay close attention to their comfort and surroundings. For drop-ins and house sitting, I follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding, medications, or sticking to routines, while also keeping your home secure and respected. About: Hello! My name is Em (Rover keeps the name on my ID unfortunately). I have been looking after family and friends dogs since I was a small child. I love spending time with dogs, ensuring they get the exercise and stimulation needed, and the care they deserve. I mostly grew up around staffies (to this day my favourite breed), so I am used to hyperactive and excitable pups. I also grew up predominantly with cats, so I am well versed in looking after them too. I am a disabled, able-bodied adult (I have autism, so it is difficult to find 'traditional' work, but it also means that I spend a lot more time with animals), so I am available every day needed. Your dog will always be supervised, inside and outside your home. I am able to crate your dog if needed. I will also ask for a list of rules/needs for your pet to ensure the best care and experience for both you and your pet.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire, nearly 30 years of life, and have experience with various breeds, ages and temperaments. I hope to one day have my own but until then I would love to hang out with & look after yours! Whether that be keeping them company while you're away, taking them on their daily walks or dropping in to make sure they're fed and watered. I recently left my full time job so I am available pretty much all day every day! I am actively job-seeking so I can’t currently commit to repeat / weekly / long term care! Apologies! I understand things can be relatively last minute! So whatever time / day works best for you generally works for me too! I live with my boyfriend who loves to get equally fully involved with any dog in our care! My Home: No garden but a peaceful and spacious flat with a balcony that is a 3 minute walk from St. Ann’s Well gardens, 4 minutes from Hove Lawns and the seafront and 15 minutes from Dyke Road Park/Hove Green. Currently no car but 30 seconds from Western Road bus stops or 12 minute walk from the station if travel is ever required for a bigger walk in Preston or Stanmer Park!

About: Hi, I’m Callie, a huge animal lover based in Hove, with over 24 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, guinea pigs and more, so I understand how much love, patience, routine and attention goes into keeping pets happy, healthy and comfortable. I’ve been using Rover for over 4 years now and absolutely love it. Over that time I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs and cats with all sorts of personalities and needs from energetic puppies chewing everything in sight to big affectionate dogs who think they’re lap dogs! I’m very calm, adaptable and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal individually. As well as Rover, I volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Guatemala while travelling through Central America, helping care for rescue dogs day-to-day. I’ve also done longer-term dog sitting while travelling, including month-long stays, so I’m very comfortable maintaining routines and helping pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I’m equally a cat person too! My sister has two very demanding, very characterful cats who I regularly help care for, so I’m used to independent personalities, different feeding routines, playtime, cuddles on their terms, and all the little quirks that come with cats. I’m physically fit, active, and love being outdoors, so I genuinely enjoy long walks and making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, stimulation and attention. I also have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats, and understand the importance of patience, trust and consistency when caring for animals with additional needs. I know how important it is finding someone trustworthy to look after your pets and house, and I always try to make animals feel as relaxed, loved and cared for as possible while you’re away. I am currently working with a 7 days on 7 days off schedule. So am often available for a week at a time, which would be ideal for clients who need a sitter while on holiday. I have found the best way to create a good connection and trust between both myself and the dog and myself and the owner is to arrange a pre meet so I can come and meet your dog/ pets make sure we get on, while you talk me though their needs and how to take care of your house too!

About: I grew up on a farm, my family have always had dogs and I have been involved in the caring of our animals. I truly enjoy their company. I’ve dog sat regularly for three parson russell’s as well as many other dogs with different needs. I have helped with raising litters of puppies as well as caring for our elderly dogs. We have experience with nervous dogs or dogs that prefer to avoid other dogs. I have also spent some time working on a sheep farm so have some experience with working dogs. We send regular photos and videos during your booking to give you peace of mind. I work from home, as does my partner Ryan, so there should always be someone home with your dog. We can do longer walks before or after work and can accommodate shorter walks and play during the working day. Calendar is generally up to date but do ask to check :) We have a small but secure garden in Hove and live near the beach and Hove Park for walks. No other pets or children in the house. Non-smoking. Your pets safety and security will always be put first.

About: Hello!! I have always loved dogs!! We’ve always had dogs growing up and then when I moved to Spain I started volunteering at the weekends for a dog shelter...of course within a week I had rescued Oreo haha! He was about 18 months old and had never lived in a house before. Oreo came with many many challenges but with a lot of positive reinforcement and patience he learned what was okay to do and what wasn't! Dogs have always been a huge part of my family and life! People who don't have pets don't understand that dogs (and other animals) are just as important as humans (or even more so). Growing up we had German Shephards and Border Terriers. So I have always been around both big dogs and little dogs. My partner and I both absolutely adore animals. We both work from home so are always around to spend time with our furry friends and walk them three times a day: 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour / evening and a short walk in the afternoon. Oreo is always delighted to have the company of other dogs in the house as we also live with two cats and he says sometimes he just misses his own kind haha! I am a very active person and I love being outdoors, walking ... and exploring new parks and greens! :) I promise that if you let me take care of your pup, we will have a great time together. I can adapt the routine to whatever needs your dog has. I can also administer medication or special diet if that’s what your pup needs. I send loads of photos and videos because I know what it feels like to leave mine ...! I assure endless affection and care!! Lots of cuddles and love! About: I grew up with cats and dogs at home, where my days were regularly spent walking the dogs, cuddling up on the sofa or sharing my bed with a furry friend or two. I regularly house sit for my sister who has three Cocker Spaniels, taking them for beach or woodland walks and giving them lots of snuggles and love. I'm always conscious of not leaving pets alone at home for too long and understand that some are unable to be left alone due to their separation anxiety. I have also house sat for a couple via Trusted Housesitters, looking after their Jug (Jack Russell x Pug) for four days in their flat. On top of that, I work for a dog charity and occassionally foster pups that we are trying to rehome. I live in a pet and child-free flat in Seven Dials, Brighton. We don't have a garden however we have an enclosed shared patio for my apartment building and I live walking distance to various green spaces including St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove Park and Preston Park. I'm also a 20 minute walk to the beach. I work in marketing and my office in Seven Dials 5 minutes from my flat. I do a mix of office and work from home and have some flexibility, so if there is ever a week day in my calendar where I’m unavailable you can still reach out as I may occasionally able to move my days around. Working from home means I have plenty of time to give a pet lots of love, cuddles, as well as take them out regularly for toilet breaks and walks. I live in a spacious three bedroom flat which pets will be allowed to roam freely. I have no issues with pets sleeping in a bed within my room, on my bed or on the furniture. If needed, I can keep dogs enclosed in the kitchen whenever I am out of the house. I am happy to follow individual owner's rules when in their home to ensure their pet's routine is maintained. I don't have any pets and won't accept more than one pet owner at a time so you can feel reassured that your pet(s) would have my undivided attention.

About: Growing up in the welsh countryside I have always been around animals. We had cats and jack russell terriers when I was young, and later on I helped out on a farm with horses and working collies. This love for animals carried on as I got older and I started walking neighbours dogs (bull mastiffs) for free and cat sitting for friends when they went away. Post Uni I started helping out locally with dog walking through borrow my doggy. I ended up house sitting for one of my customer’s houses a few times to look after their dog while they were on holiday (the lovely Vizsla in my photos). More recently I volunteered for German Shepherd Rescue Elite in Nottingham as shepherds and Malis are my personal favourite, so now have a fair range of experience with larger breeds and some reactivity issues. I really loved both the rescue and my regular borrow my doggy connections and would have carried on however, I have moved to Brighton and the commute would’ve been a bit tough! I have two cats now and I am calm and responsible and will always treat your animals as if they are my own and will send regular updates so you know how things are going! I’m in the office generally Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work from home the rest of the week so am available for walking/drop ins after work (4:30pm onwards) on most weekdays. We have no garden and two cats at home so having other pets in our flat would not be an option however, I am more than happy to look after your pets in your own home during the working day if I am able to borrow your wifi to work from home at the same time!
