About: Hi there! I'm Jess and I love dogs! I am confident, compassionate and friendly. My family dog lived 15 years and was the love of my life. I want to surround myself with other dogs as much as possible and am the designated dog sitter for my friend's fluffs. I usually work in the film industry and have often looked after the talents fluffy companions. My experience includes looking after young, elderly, blind and deaf dogs. I am freelance so am based at home all day and will be on hand for your dog's needs! They will have my full attention and I will be able to take them for plenty of walks, play time or rest (whatever they prefer!). My flat is very dog friendly, safety here is a priority. I don't have a private garden but the flat is on a small patch of communal grass. There are many wonderful walking spots near by/ parks and of course - we are very close to the sea. The flat is in a nice, peaceful neighbourhood - overall creating a quiet and safe space for your pet.

About: My dog is a six year old lovely Cockapoo who loves to chew things and dig holes. I am patient with dogs who may be naughty and I love teaching pets new tricks! I am based in Brighton now after studying in London for the last 5 years and miss my dog who is at home in Wales. I would love to take your dog on long walks in the park! I don’t have anywhere to take care of pets in my own home as I am renting and not allowed pets, but when I was at my parents house we had a big garden where my dog could run around and I took her for 2, hour long walks a day! Although she wasn’t brave enough to approach Beth that day, she was comfortable and relaxed enough to have a snooze while she was there. Which shows that she isn’t overly worried about Beth, who didn’t try to push things too fast and went at Sookie’s pace, allowing her to feel that relaxed she could close her eyes. Very happy with Beth and her knowledge of handling nervous dogs.”

About: Growing up in the welsh countryside I have always been around animals. We had cats and jack russell terriers when I was young, and later on I helped out on a farm with horses and working collies. This love for animals carried on as I got older and I started walking neighbours dogs (bull mastiffs) for free and cat sitting for friends when they went away. Post Uni I started helping out locally with dog walking through borrow my doggy. I ended up house sitting for one of my customer’s houses a few times to look after their dog while they were on holiday (the lovely Vizsla in my photos). More recently I volunteered for German Shepherd Rescue Elite in Nottingham as shepherds and Malis are my personal favourite, so now have a fair range of experience with larger breeds and some reactivity issues. I really loved both the rescue and my regular borrow my doggy connections and would have carried on however, I have moved to Brighton and the commute would’ve been a bit tough! I have two cats now and I am calm and responsible and will always treat your animals as if they are my own and will send regular updates so you know how things are going! I’m in the office generally Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work from home the rest of the week so am available for walking/drop ins after work (4:30pm onwards) on most weekdays. About: I grew up on a farm, my family have always had dogs and I have been involved in the caring of our animals. I truly enjoy their company. I’ve dog sat regularly for three parson russell’s as well as many other dogs with different needs. I have helped with raising litters of puppies as well as caring for our elderly dogs. We have experience with nervous dogs or dogs that prefer to avoid other dogs. I have also spent some time working on a sheep farm so have some experience with working dogs. We send regular photos and videos during your booking to give you peace of mind. I work from home, as does my partner Ryan, so there should always be someone home with your dog. We can do longer walks before or after work and can accommodate shorter walks and play during the working day. About: I grew up with cats and dogs at home, where my days were regularly spent walking the dogs, cuddling up on the sofa or sharing my bed with a furry friend or two. I regularly house sit for my sister who has three Cocker Spaniels, taking them for beach or woodland walks and giving them lots of snuggles and love. I live in a spacious three bedroom flat which pets will be allowed to roam freely. I have no issues with pets sleeping in a bed within my room, on my bed or on the furniture. If needed, I can keep dogs enclosed in the kitchen whenever I am out of the house. I am happy to follow individual owner's rules when in their home to ensure their pet's routine is maintained. About: I used to walk a small, elderly, terrier-cross a few times a week for a nearby neighbour for about 2 years. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs when they’ve been away on short holidays. The above experience is all I have, so I’d be better suited to looking after dogs that have relatively simple care needs (ie. don’t have behavioural issues / need a lot of specialist care). I’m taking some time off from my previous career in the insurance industry so I have plenty of free time at the moment - I have not set schedule ant the moment so can therefore be quite flexible. Caspar was a joy! He was super professional and organised, with great communication before and during the days he was helping out. He came over the day before the visits started to meet the dogs and understand their preferences and logistics. He sent us loads of pictures during his visits. Lots of updates as to how the dogs are doing and also questions where he did not know something and wanted to make sure he was planning the right thing. He was also patient with one of our dogs that is shy/nervous. He also went above expectations by taking one of our dogs to the beach even when he knew this would exceed the 1 hour he was expected to give us - many thanks to him, our dogs were well loved and cared for!
