About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!

About: Hi, I’m Callie, a huge animal lover based in Hove, with over 24 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, guinea pigs and more, so I understand how much love, patience, routine and attention goes into keeping pets happy, healthy and comfortable. I’ve been using Rover for over 4 years now and absolutely love it. Over that time I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs and cats with all sorts of personalities and needs from energetic puppies chewing everything in sight to big affectionate dogs who think they’re lap dogs! I’m very calm, adaptable and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal individually. As well as Rover, I volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Guatemala while travelling through Central America, helping care for rescue dogs day-to-day. I’ve also done longer-term dog sitting while travelling, including month-long stays, so I’m very comfortable maintaining routines and helping pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I’m equally a cat person too! My sister has two very demanding, very characterful cats who I regularly help care for, so I’m used to independent personalities, different feeding routines, playtime, cuddles on their terms, and all the little quirks that come with cats. I’m physically fit, active, and love being outdoors, so I genuinely enjoy long walks and making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, stimulation and attention. I also have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats, and understand the importance of patience, trust and consistency when caring for animals with additional needs. I know how important it is finding someone trustworthy to look after your pets and house, and I always try to make animals feel as relaxed, loved and cared for as possible while you’re away. I am currently working with a 7 days on 7 days off schedule. So am often available for a week at a time, which would be ideal for clients who need a sitter while on holiday. I am flexible and adaptive to fit your pets needs and routine. I have found the best way to create a good connection and trust between both myself and the dog and myself and the owner is to arrange a pre meet so I can come and meet your dog/ pets make sure we get on, while you talk me though their needs and how to take care of your house too!

About: I will always make sure your dog has a fun experience and you'll get photo evidence! I've taken care of dogs, cats and horses for more than 15 years. I have experience with many pets including a number of medical and behavioural cases so I'm happy to help with anything that's needed. I treat animals with kindness and respect and always make sure they have some fun and calm time with me. When teaching any tricks or helping with behavioural struggles, I use positive training only. I commit to each pets specific needs as they're all individuals. I'm currently working full time, Tuesday and Friday remotely with some weekends off. During the working days I'm available between 7PM and 9AM so please contact me to discuss your preferred schedule. I will follow all your instructions regarding feeding, behavioural training, any pet's preferences or medical needs but most importantly make sure you dog has fun with me. I work with animals professionally on daily basis and treat them all like my own. I'm working full time including some Saturdays, Tuesdays and Fridays remotely. I can take your dog to the woods on a weekend or pet sit during the week. I will follow all the instructions provided to make sure to keep your pet's routine as normal. About: Hello! My name is Em (Rover keeps the name on my ID unfortunately). I have been looking after family and friends dogs since I was a small child. I love spending time with dogs, ensuring they get the exercise and stimulation needed, and the care they deserve. I mostly grew up around staffies (to this day my favourite breed), so I am used to hyperactive and excitable pups. I also grew up predominantly with cats, so I am well versed in looking after them too. I am a disabled, able-bodied adult (I have autism, so it is difficult to find 'traditional' work, but it also means that I spend a lot more time with animals), so I am available every day needed. Your dog will always be supervised, inside and outside your home. I am able to crate your dog if needed. I will also ask for a list of rules/needs for your pet to ensure the best care and experience for both you and your pet.

About: I love animals and grew up around dogs, cats, chinchillas, birds and fish! I’ve been in London just over 10 years and just moved to Brighton last summer. I’ve sat dogs and cats for numerous Rover users and friends, and also used to have a neighbour’s cat drop in for visits every day for years before my recent Brighton move. I genuinely want to spend time with animals and would happily walk dogs or drop in to feed/ play with cats in my area. Happy to host pets at my place as. I wouldn’t be comfortable taking in pets from multiple households at the same time as this is largely set up for companionship rather than revenue while my partner and I work our life out to have a pet (or more likely pets) or our own . Can also stay at yours with a bit of an advance notice. I work a nearly fully remote job so am around pretty much all working weeks and most weekends :) These days I have a few calls a day totalling around two to three hours so I am truly flexible with my pet sitting schedule I don’t have a garden but my flat is right by a few greens and a large park is 10mins away. I have no toxic plants for cats or dogs. I’ve cared for senior dogs and cats so am no stranger to a tablet pusher or a secret ham pill roll. Have also cared for cats with asthma and given them inhalers.

“After a successful couple of meet & greets, Beth’s first one hour visit seemed to go well. Sookie is a nervous rescue and can take time to warm up to new people. Although she wasn’t brave enough to approach Beth that day, she was comfortable and relaxed enough to have a snooze while she was there. Which shows that she isn’t overly worried about Beth, who didn’t try to push things too fast and went at Sookie’s pace, allowing her to feel that relaxed she could close her eyes. Very happy with Beth and her knowledge of handling nervous dogs.”

About: Hello!! I have always loved dogs!! We’ve always had dogs growing up and then when I moved to Spain I started volunteering at the weekends for a dog shelter...of course within a week I had rescued Oreo haha! He was about 18 months old and had never lived in a house before. Oreo came with many many challenges but with a lot of positive reinforcement and patience he learned what was okay to do and what wasn't! Dogs have always been a huge part of my family and life! People who don't have pets don't understand that dogs (and other animals) are just as important as humans (or even more so). Growing up we had German Shephards and Border Terriers. So I have always been around both big dogs and little dogs. My partner and I both absolutely adore animals. We both work from home so are always around to spend time with our furry friends and walk them three times a day: 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour / evening and a short walk in the afternoon. Oreo is always delighted to have the company of other dogs in the house as we also live with two cats and he says sometimes he just misses his own kind haha! I am a very active person and I love being outdoors, walking ... and exploring new parks and greens! :) I promise that if you let me take care of your pup, we will have a great time together. I can adapt the routine to whatever needs your dog has. I can also administer medication or special diet if that’s what your pup needs. I send loads of photos and videos because I know what it feels like to leave mine ...! I assure endless affection and care!! Lots of cuddles and love! About: I grew up on a farm constantly surrounded by lots of animals, especially dogs where I had to care for up to 16 in our farms kennels! I love the company of animals and the joy they bring whilst giving them good quality care. I have a part time job therefore I am quite flexible to care and walk your adorable pet. I’m happy to accommodate to yours and your dogs needs! I also have a car so I can take your pet on longer walks if they are high energy. I often like going to devils dyke and the Seven Sisters on walks! I have a pretty flexible schedule as I have a small part time job therefore having a lot of free time to engage in different activities and opportunities aswell as accommodate yours and your pets needs! I can feed, walk and give your pet company as and when you need. I have a safe environment and lots of parks nearby to take your pet on lovely walks and to play. I can be a companion for your pet or take care of them at home whilst you are busy!
