“Boarding our dog for the very first time was really nerve-wracking but it's clear he had a great time with Andrii and Mila and we're so happy we have another trusted home he can go to for a holiday! Thank you so much from us and Muddy too 🙏🌞”

“Hannah is lovely! It was the first time we had left our dog with anyone and she can be reactive wirh other dogs. Hannahs communication before and during our holiday was brilliant, we did a meet before and she sent photos while we were away. Bear looked very happy and relaxed! Hannah and Ryan are obviously experienced with dogs and genuinely care for the animals they look after. Thank you so much!”

“Daphne was very welcoming and caring four our two dogs. Giving updates and pictures on walks etc, which was appreciated. The dogs looked very well on collection and I think would love to go back again when the opportunity arises.”

“Sarah has been excellent and our whippet, Rocco, has had a fantastic stay with her for the week. I actually think he’s a bit sad he’s had to come Home! Her communication was just right - daily updates, but not too much, and we felt completely assured that Rocco was being brilliantly looked after. We would 110% love to book with Sarah again.”

“Amazing overnight stay for my boy Jet with Leanne and Abbie. Right from the off-set, Leanne and Abbie really took the time to understand the needs of my Frenchie Jet, and made his stay comfortable, enjoyable and provided me with the confidence I was looking for in leaving him. Would definitely book again (I have already), and would highly recommend Leanne and Abbie. Thank you from me and Jet”

“I can’t recommend Talabi more highly, Monty had such a lovely time during his stay with Talabi, he was happy as a happy thing. We received pics and videos every day, Talabi was patient and spent time training Monty, she is absolutely fabulous and clearly a dog lover. I will not hesitate to use Talabi again in future, in fact, Monty is looking forward to his next visit. Thanks so much for taking such wonderful care of him.”

“Valentina made us feel totally at ease when we first met up , very professional and reassuring. Riley stayed with her for 3 nights and loved it ! We totally relaxed knowing he was well cared for and Valentina kept us regularly updated with messages and pictures of Riley living the best life ever ! Would highly recommend Valentina and will definitely look forward to using her services again 🙏”

“Highly recommend verity! Our dog Hugo seemed to have a really lovely time and was clearly treated as part of the family. Verity updated us daily with pictures and videos. Will be booking again without hesitation :)”

“Lois was amazing, really communicative and friendly! She was so pleased to see Tinto and he was so happy and well looked after when we picked him up! Amazing dog sitter and Tinto is excited for his next stay with her.”

“Sara and Franz are very kind, caring, sweet souls. We left our dog, Fig, in very safe hands. She was extremely comfortable right from the start and didn’t want to leave…she was a very happy dog when we picked her up (which isn’t normally the case). Sara’s place is very neat, tidy and dog friendly with lots of space and a garden. I’d highly recommend them and will be booking them again very soon.”

“It was a last minute booking with Suzana but as soon as I met her, I knew Connie would be well cared for in a lovely home. Thank you for the regular photo updates and we will definitely be in touch when we visit Brighton again.”

“Petra and Olly are absolutely amazing. I always get nervous about leaving Lyla with new people, but they put me at ease straight away. They’re incredibly caring and kept me fully informed with great updates throughout. Lyla was so happy after her stay, which says everything. They took her out for lots of walks and were genuinely thoughtful and considerate the whole time. I couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, guys.”

“Our dog Poppy spent a wonderful week with Roxy and Tom. We received regular updates with pics of Poppy’s adventures- daily walks, cuddles, meeting other dogs and generally being well-cared for and loved. Just as we do! Roxy was very attentive to Poppy’s needs and we felt completely comfortable and happy leaving her. Roxy and Tom certainly left a positive impression on Poppy as even now when we say ‘Where’s Roxy and Tom?’ her ears pluck up and we know she’s smiling ☺️. Will definitely use Roxy and Tom again for boarding when this is needed and it works for them too. Thank you both 😁”

“Bertie was VERY happy to see Caroline again and she took great care of him, taking him on long walks and giving him lots of snuggles. He ate all of his food, which he doesn’t usually do when he’s with a sitter as he’s quite anxious, so it shows he’s very comfortable with her, which is great. It’s so reassuring to know he’s so well looked after when he’s with her. Thank you, Caroline”

“Joely was amazing! I left my doggo with her for four days and she took care of her really well and kept me updated the whole time. She was sending me photos and videos and I didn't have to worry about my dog ❤️ she's great and I definitely recommend her to anyone. We will also ask her to take care of her again”

“I'm very happy with Toni .I had photos every day how my dog is doing. I will be leaving my dog with them definitely next time as well! I can tell they cared a lot about my dog and loved him too 😊”

“Carry & Seb took great care of Kulta, they understood her needs perfectly and she settled in with them really quickly! We got lots of updates and would definitely go with them again :)”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since childhood and have spent many years helping care for dogs belonging to friends and family. Over the last 10+ years I’ve regularly helped with walking, feeding, company and general care, and I genuinely love being around animals. I work from home part of the week, which means I can offer dogs plenty of attention, companionship and regular walks throughout the day. I understand how important trust and reliability are when leaving your pet with someone, and I always aim to provide a calm, caring and safe environment where dogs feel comfortable and well looked after. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine closely and can provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, spending 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. My work-from-home days are flexible rather than fixed, which allows me to be accommodating where possible. I work Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, and can also offer some evening and weekend availability with advance notice. While I don’t have a garden, I live in a spacious and comfortable flat in Hove, just a 5-minute walk from Hove Lawns and the beach. This means your pet will still enjoy plenty of fresh air, exercise and lovely walks in a relaxed seaside setting. I always aim to provide a calm, caring and comfortable environment where pets feel safe and well looked after. “Excellent service by Kate, great communication and timely for her visits. Kept me informed throughout the sitting and provided numerical and videos and photographs as well as messages. Would use again.”

“This was the second time that Leona has looked after Aldo. She is very easy and pleasant to communicate with, both before and during the booking. Aldo seems to like her and he appeared to be relaxed and well-fed when I got back. I will trust Leona with his care again and I would recommend her to anyone else looking for a sitter. ”

“After a successful couple of meet & greets, Beth’s first one hour visit seemed to go well. Sookie is a nervous rescue and can take time to warm up to new people. Although she wasn’t brave enough to approach Beth that day, she was comfortable and relaxed enough to have a snooze while she was there. Which shows that she isn’t overly worried about Beth, who didn’t try to push things too fast and went at Sookie’s pace, allowing her to feel that relaxed she could close her eyes. Very happy with Beth and her knowledge of handling nervous dogs.”

“Thank you so much for the cats feeding and looking after it meant so much to me and the cleaning out of the world. If I could do, it’s 11 out of 10 super.🙌🙌👍👍”

About: I have 14 years of experience caring for cats, starting from when I lived with my partner and we had three cats together. I was closely involved in their daily care, including feeding, litter tray cleaning, playtime and maintaining their routines. After separating, one of the cats came to live with me, and I continued to care for her long-term. I later took on another cat for a friend who was no longer able to care for her, and looked after her for 6 years until she passed away. I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ cats, providing feeding, companionship and routine care while they’ve been away. I understand how important it is for cats to feel safe, calm and undisturbed in their own environment, and I always aim to provide gentle, reliable care tailored to each cat’s personality.

“It’s our second time using Laura and we wouldn’t want anyone else to look after Frida and Fergs because they love her! Always come home to very relaxed and happy cats, great updates throughout the time we’re away too. Always feel really at ease knowing Laura is taking such good care of them. Thanks again! ”

“This was our third time booking Sophie for drop in visits for our cat Mimi. We always feel reassured and that Mimi is in great hands receiving all the love and attention. Communication is great and we will continue to book Sophie whenever we go away! 😺😺”

“Melina took great care of our two cats, house plants and our whole flat while we were away. This was the first time we had used a house sitter but she put us at ease from the start. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our cats were in good hands, and they seemed content and relaxed when we got home. Thank you, Melina!”

About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!

“Thank you so much Annabel for sending such informative and reassuring updates when we were away, we knew our cat Prince was in safe hands and could see in the photos he was loving his time with Annabel and all the attention he got . Very reliable and amazing with animals , we would definitely use Annabel again”

“Jo is a god send - she took such good care of my little nugget and went out of her way to give me updates. She showed huge empathy, friendliness and my Lizzy s and seemed to like her a lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!!”

About: My dog is a six year old lovely Cockapoo who loves to chew things and dig holes. I am patient with dogs who may be naughty and I love teaching pets new tricks! I am based in Brighton now after studying in London for the last 5 years and miss my dog who is at home in Wales. I would love to take your dog on long walks in the park! I don’t have anywhere to take care of pets in my own home as I am renting and not allowed pets, but when I was at my parents house we had a big garden where my dog could run around and I took her for 2, hour long walks a day! I am happy to come and look after your dog in your own home while you are away :)

“Maple has a very special bond with Leanne and Abbie- a reflection of how well she is cared for by them. For a nervous puppy it is great to see her response to them - she is always over the moon with happiness to see them. They are absolute gems and would I am sure would extend the same high level of care to any other dog who is fortunate enough to stay with them !”

About: We are Sara & Frans, a couple in our mid-40s living next to St Ann’s Wells Gardens and the seafront in Hove. We love having dogs around and enjoy providing a calm, safe, and happy environment for them. We offer doggy day care and overnight boarding, with lots of love, attention, and walks. I work from home and Frans gets home by 4 pm, so your dog will never be short of company. Our home has a private, fully fenced garden—perfect for safe outdoor play—and we’re ideally located for walks in the park or along the seafront. We both have plenty of experience with dogs. Frans grew up around pedigree Labradors, as his parents were breeders, and we recently said goodbye to our own much-loved dog, so we truly understand how important consistent, caring attention is. We’re also trained in Dog First Aid for added peace of mind, and we speak English, Spanish, and French. We’re happy to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they feel relaxed, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. I work from home with flexibility to change the schedule, and Frans finish work at 4pm. We both free during weekends for boarding or long stays We have a fenced private garden and plenty of space to play around and chill in the apartment, providing walks morning, lunch and after work
“Monica was so gentle and patient with Lola, which was great as Lola can be nervous at times. She sent me photos and updates during the day, which was lovely to receive! I'd highly recommend Monica if you need a caring, communicative sitter :)”

“I booked Hannah to look after my dog, Juno, at very short notice and she was incredibly accommodating with the drop-off and pick-up times. Communication throughout the day was excellent – she kept me updated and made sure to follow all the details I shared about Juno’s routine and preferences. It was clear she genuinely cared and did a fantastic job. I felt completely at ease knowing Juno was in good hands. She even came to ours to drop off the treat bag we left behind! I would definitely book Hannah to look after Juno again!”

About: Hi there! My boyfriend, Olly, and I are looking for our next furry friend to spoil and go on adventures with. We are passionate dog and cat lovers and would love more opportunities to make new dog and cat friends. Some things to know about us: 1. We both grew up with dogs (and in my case, cats as well) and have had loads of fun training them from a young age. Beyond “sit” and “fetch,” we can even try to teach your dog how to headbutt a balloon or count by barking! 2. We love discovering the unique personalities of our dog friends and their often not-so-secret addictions to balls, special toys, leads, or anything else. :) 3. We are comfortable with all breeds, big or small. 4. We love good food and always make sure our furry friends get their treats and meals on time too. 5. We are both toilet-trained and will make sure our furry friends do their business outside. 😄 What we offer: 1. Cuddles and playtime to brighten up your dog’s day 2. Short or long walks as needed for exercise 3. Feeding, fresh water and photo updates throughout the day 4. Fun trick training We both work from home in Hove and have flexible schedules during the week and on weekends. Thursdays and Fridays are ideal, but we can adjust our schedule with adequate notice for other days. Our spacious flat is a calm and safe environment with enough room for some low-key zoomies for dogs and some cozy corners for cats. For walks with dogs, we would go to St Ann’s Park, Palmeira Square, Hove Park, or the beach. Before leaving your dog/cat with us, we kindly ask you to: 1. Send us your main phone number and an emergency contact in case we can’t reach you. 2. Provide your vet’s address in case of any emergencies. 3. Share any important information, including rules, diet, allergies/sensitivities, nap time/daily schedule, habits, and any special behaviour for the pets. 4. Bring their favourite toys, treats, blanket to help create a familiar and comforting environment, as well as food if they need feeding. 5. If you have a dog, please share dome information on how your dog interacts with other dogs. 6. If you have cats, please bring your litter box as we do not have a garden.

“Snowy evidently loved her day care with Roxy. They enjoyed lovely cuddles, belly rubs and walks every day. Roxy was very responsive on communication and flexible on drop off and pick up times. Thank you”

About: I've been passionate about caring for animals since childhood, growing up with both a Labrador and a rescue cat. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience looking after a wide range of dogs and cats, not only in my own home but also for pet owners in London and Brighton. This experience has taught me how to handle pets with different personalities and needs, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s playful walks, feeding routines, or giving lots of cuddles, I always treat every animal as if they were my own. As a PhD student with the freedom to set my own hours and work from home, I can tailor my schedule to fit your pet’s needs—whether that means midday cuddles, evening walks, or even staying overnight in your home. My flexible lifestyle means your pets get dedicated, reliable company whenever you need it. When caring for pets I try to create a safe and stressfree environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure to stick closely to their usual routines—feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet moments—so they experience as little disruption as possible. and I keep owners updated with photos and messages.

About: Hi, I'm Alex - a 32-year-old freelance producer who primarily works from home. For as long as I remember I've loved dogs. It's a running joke in my family that no one loves them more than me. Having grown up with Irish Setters and horses, I've been around dogs my entire life and consider them to be the purest form of joy I've yet experienced! Aside from this, I frequently look after friends and neighbours dogs and love taking them to local beaches and parks for walks, as well as my local co-working space, if suitable. I am also experienced in house sitting dogs and cats and love taking dogs on long walks in the countryside to keep them stimulated and tired at the end of the day. Having recently moved to Hove and bought a three bedroom house with a garden (fenced and very safe), I am keen to share my space and provide a safe and happy place for dog owners to send their dogs to when they need them looking after. I'm open to short or long stays and even day sittings in my house as well. Please do get in touch with any questions. Happy to provide photos of my home and garden, and of course for any dog to come round and meet me before staying so they get used to the smells and environment. I'm currently in a low period of freelance work and have much more spare time in the day for the next few months. I work remotely most of the time and occasionally work in a dog friendly co-work space called Platf9rm. I am able to work from home in my own house with a dog, but also take it for walks much more during the day. I like to be active and outdoors as much as I can and any dog I care for is also able to have free rein of my garden, which is walled and secure. I have a walled garden which is super safe and secure and it's a big enough space for any dog to run around, chill, or have a snooze in the sun. I have a desk in the living room space which opens up into the kitchen, so when working from home would always be around the dog. I love nothing more than watching TV and curling up with a dog. I'd be happy for the dog to join me on the sofa with a blanket.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love having them around. As I work from home (mostly) I have the time to take, morning and lunch time walks and can make sure your dog is getting the attention they need throughout the day. I regularly dog sit for friends during the summer holidays so have plenty experience looking after dogs full time. I have plenty of green areas just a stones throw from my house. I work full time and primarily from home. I occasionally have to travel into London for work (these dates will be updated in my availability). On the days that I am able to dog sit, I can do boarding overnight and am happy to take dogs over the weekend when I am free. I do not have any pets of my own so can welcome any dog into my home. My flat is enclosed, safe, and spacious and I live on a quiet road.
“Azar is great! Our dog BMO had a great time, we received plenty of photos throughout the day, and Azar responded very quickly to all of our messages. I can definitely recommend and would happily leave BMO with Azar again.”

“Caroline shows a deep love for dogs, warm consideration and respectfulness and impeccable organisation and communication. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a deeply reliable person; who will made us feel at complete ease while we were away from our dog. Thank you Caroline!”

About: I used to work with a local dog walker/boarder and mixed with plenty of doggos during this time! I’ve also had dogs in my family since I was a child! A Dalmatian, Chihuahuas, Jack Russel x Chihuahua’s, and more recently a lovely Frenchie. However, I currently am unable to have a pet of my own due to the demands of my degree. I love animals, and you can be sure that your pet will be the centre of my attention whilst I am with them! I am a full-time mature BSc student in Brighton, which takes up about 3 days a week and I usually work 1 day at my job during term times. Due to these commitments, I am sadly unable to have a pet of my own. My flexibility will vary depending on my schedule, which from September, I should be aware of at least 5 weeks in advance. I will easily fit in time with your furry friends during these commitments, and maybe they can help me to study! I live in a ground floor flat with access to our own secure outdoor space, however, this is stones and decking but plenty of space for sniffing and roaming around, or lounging in the sun with me when we’re not out on a walk! A well-behaved dog will have access to all spaces, including my bedroom. We live a very short walk from plenty of local dog-friendly parks in Hove, and a little further is the beach! Please note that I am not comfortable with off-lead walks, happy to use long training leads, etc, unless in a very secure area. I want to keep your pet safe and secure the entire time!
“Luna has been an absolute star this week while we’ve been on holiday. Her walks with woody have been thought out and she’s taken him some amazing new places. Not the usual round the block or local park for Luna. Her thoughtfulness and going above and beyond have been a real breath of fresh air. Thanks again for everything Luna we won’t hesitate to book you again x”

About: I used to walk a small, elderly, terrier-cross a few times a week for a nearby neighbour for about 2 years. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs when they’ve been away on short holidays. The above experience is all I have, so I’d be better suited to looking after dogs that have relatively simple care needs (ie. don’t have behavioural issues / need a lot of specialist care). I’m taking some time off from my previous career in the insurance industry so I have plenty of free time at the moment - I have not set schedule ant the moment so can therefore be quite flexible. I live close to the Brighton and Hove boundary and 5 minutes away from the seaside / Hove Lawns, so plenty of nearby places to stretch our legs.
“Lisa was an awesome dog walker! She was super communicative, punctual and helped us out when we needed extra walking support. Buddy loved her, and we look forward to using her again!”

I follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and any special care needs. I also provide companionship, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep pets happy while you're away.

About: Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable, and experienced pet sitter based in Hove. I offer dog walking, daycare, and home sitting, providing loving, safe, and personalised care for every dog I look after, and am also a huge cat lover and happy to cat sit too. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I always follow your routine closely, provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection, and send photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and safe. I live alone in a spacious two bedroom flat on the corner of Hove seafront so I’m lucky to live close to fantastic walking routes, including Hove Lawns, beach walks, and nearby parks, so your dog will get stimulating, varied walks every day. I also have a communal garden and plenty of green space out front. Safety, trust, and communication are my top priorities. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. I’d love to meet you and your pet! Feel free to message me anytime to arrange a free meet & greet! I work in animal protection from home and am available for pet sitting and dog walks most weekdays (throughout the day and evenings) and at the weekends. I live in an animal-friendly apartment block with its own private garden. Steps from the beach, Hove Lawns and green space right outside. Also a very quiet space with beach views.
“Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x”

“Annabel was so lovely and managed to help me last minute. The updates and photos were so lovely to receive and it was evident that my pup was happy and well looked after, I’ll definitely book again. Thank you so much!”

“Laura took Eddy, our border terrier, for a walk to get to know him before he comes to stay with her in January. He’s a very lively and excitable dog but we could see straightaway that he was in safe, experienced hands and they had a very successful walk together. She’s also a lovely person and a very talented artist!”

“Bethany was so so lovely. She picked the dogs up on time and managed two big breeds and one very energetic border collie all on her own. We got some great pictures after the walk and our boys looked so happy. They came back and both went to bed!!”

About: I have large experience with both dogs and cats, having lived with both for many years from puppy and kitten ages to elderly pets! I have experience in administrating medicine and navigating pets being on different diets. We currently have 3 family pets all on separate dry food and have a complex Tupperware system going on! I am a trustworthy person, who will always prioritise the needs of animals and ensure clear communications with the owner to ensure needs and expectations are met. I work from home 3 days a week so can provide your pet with all the love and attention they deserve. I work a hybrid role on a flexible schedule where I choose my office days and hours so can provide your pet with attention throughout the day :) I live a 10 minute walk from two parks and love going on long walks! For your pet's well-being, and your peace of mind I only walk (or sit) pets from one household at a time. I am experienced in reading tells from animals and ensure clear communication with owners before starting to be aware of any specific needs or concerns around your pet. I am always careful to have a calming nature to reassure the pet.
“Luke was amazing with Mani! He was booked for a 30-minute walk but ended up spending over an hour with him. He sent lots of photos and updates, communication was great. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and other animals since I was very young, I’ve always been very good at connecting with them, which is why I went to Plumpton college to get my animal care diploma & my dog grooming qualification. Your animals will be very safe when they are with me, whether it be over night or just during the day. My passion is making sure all animals in my care are 100% happy and healthy. I have availability throughout the week, weekends & holidays. Please message if you have questions or would like to request care and I’ll get back to you asap. Animal welfare is extremely important to me so I do everything I can to make sure the animals in my care are happy, even if it means altering my own routine for them.

About: Hi there, we’re Lilac and Ariane. We are a young, enthusiastic couple who are reliable in animal care. Through having ownership of cats for the majority of our lives, including those with medical issues such as epilepsy, we have gained a myriad of skills which would be beneficial to our role as a carer for your pets. These include: resilience, patience and most importantly prioritising fun and safety. Neighbours, friends, and the general public have relied on us for years to walk, play, feed, and care for their dogs/cats, noting us as attentive and respectful carers, willing to solve specific needs that their pets might require. We’d love to meet your pets and provide them the best experience possible while their owner is unavailable! Currently, we work zero hour jobs allowing us an extensive amount of free time to dedicate to your pets. With a notice period of 3 days we can accommodate to your needs and make time for your animals. We prefer working within the hours of 7am-7pm but would be happy to make any changes if necessary! We don’t offer pet stays in our home currently. If temporarily using an owners home to care for their pets, we would ensure that we are aware of any potential dangers before being left alone with the animals in order to prioritise their safety. We intend to respect the space and maintain the environment as to not threaten the animals daily routines. We aim to build trust overtime, through a sense of familiarity, implementing calm direction and praise simultaneously.

I can see he’s very patient & encouraging towards hiccup which makes me so happy to see. Was also lovely that there were other dogs as once Hiccup feels comfortable he loves playing with them.
