Doggy Day Care Hove

About: I always grew up with a dog, we had 2 cocker spaniels. When I moved out, I also adopted a cat because their owner couldn’t keep her. And since I have moved to Brighton & Hove I have missed having a pet, I do get to watch my friends’ pets when they go away on holiday but I wish I could enjoy the company of an animal more often. I mostly watch dogs but also cats at times and a rabbit once. I am free any day of the week to take care of your pet. I would just need at least one day or 2 days notice so I can make sure to organise the time. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I can bring a pet in my flat but I would prefer watching them in their own home if possible as it feels less disruptive for them and also my place is not very big.

About: We are Sara & Frans, a couple in our mid-40s living next to St Ann’s Wells Gardens and the seafront in Hove. We love having dogs around and enjoy providing a calm, safe, and happy environment for them. We offer doggy day care and overnight boarding, with lots of love, attention, and walks. I work from home a couple of days per week and Frans gets home by 4 pm, so your dog will never be short of company. Our home has a private, fully fenced garden—perfect for safe outdoor play—and we are ideally located for walks in the park or along the seafront. We both have plenty of experience with dogs. Frans grew up around pedigree Labradors, as his parents were breeders, and we recently said goodbye to our own much-loved dog, so we truly understand how important consistent, caring attention is. We are also trained in Dog First Aid for added peace of mind, and we speak English, Spanish, and French. We are happy to tailor care to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they feel relaxed, comfortable, and well looked after while you are away. I work from home a couple of days per week, and Frans finish work at 4pm. We both free during weekends for boarding long stays We have a fenced private garden and plenty of space to play around and chill in the apartment, providing walks morning, lunch and after work

I’ll send regular photo and video updates throughout, so you can relax knowing they’re safe, happy, and probably a little spoiled with attention. Services I offer: Dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting are my main focus. I work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility to fit walks and visits into your schedule. I can follow your walking routes and set times easily and make sure they are looked after. I’m happy to provide short weekend boarding for dogs who are comfortable in an apartment setting. I don’t have a private garden, but I live close to a park, so dogs staying with me still get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention but I would rather this only be for short stays for the dogs own comfort. I always keep my availability up to date so you know exactly when I’m free. Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed), training and any house rules. I’m happy to walk your dog on their usual routes and at their regular times to help them feel comfortable, confident and relaxed while you’re away. My goal would be to build friendship and trust between us. Every dog receives my full attention. I don’t walk dogs in large groups, so your dog will enjoy one-to-one care tailored to their individual needs and personality. If I’m boarding, I’ll only take one household’s dog(s) at a time, ensuring they have a calm environment and plenty of attention. I live in a comfortable apartment that’s well suited to short weekend boarding. While I don’t have a private outdoor space, I’m close to parks and walking routes, so dogs in my care will still get plenty of exercise, enrichment and toilet breaks. For that reason, I prefer to keep boarding to shorter stays where I know I can provide the best possible experience.
