About: Hey, I'm Jackie. I've loved and been surrounded by dogs most of my life. :) Growing up, my family bred dachshunds. From a young age, I pet-sat and dog-walked for my neighbour's pets. My first official job was in a mall pet shop, bathing dogs and cleaning cages. In college, I worked at a doggy daycare that looked after dogs of all sizes and breeds. I'm now the proud mom to two small rescue dogs (Maggie & Mango). I also have experience working with cats, small rodents, birds and exotic animals (I've had two pet hedgehogs and have looked after bearded dragons). I'm more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet before booking. I know how important it is to find the perfect person to take care of your best friend, and I would love to be that person! :) As a freelance voiceover artist, I have a flexible schedule. I'm available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I can easily fit your pet care into my routine and will do my best to accommodate your needs. Currently based in Worthing. I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home and will follow any rules or guidelines you have (ie dogs not allowed in bed or on the sofa). My husband and I can also look after pets in our home. We're both freelancers, so home at all hours. We have a fully enclosed garden, and we also live near lots of lovely dog parks. Please note that we have two rescue dogs of our own. Maggie loves to play with new visitors, but Mango does not care to socialise. All dogs will have constant supervision.
“Thank you for taking care of Frankie today. He’s very happy and is now sleeping. You and your children were wonderful, and you have a beautiful home. We would love to use your services again soon. All the best. Paul”

“We had such a great experience today! She really saved the day after I forgot to book daycare for our Harlow. From the start, she was so friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Harlow had the best time and came home so happy after making two new friends, especially her super cute dog, Winnie! It was clear he was well looked after and had lots of fun. She was incredibly available, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much!”

“Helen was great looking after our dog Lana for the morning in her dog friendly house and garden, even on a very hot day she was thoughtful of the dogs needs. Will be booking again.”

We felt so comfortable leaving him and he’s come back such a happy puppy She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos of him. “Kristyna looked after our Luna for an afternoon in her home. As we’re moving to the area soon, we wanted to try out a local sitter with plans to make it a regular arrangement. It didn’t take long to find the right person— Kristyna is wonderful and amazing. Throughout Luna’s stay, we received updates with pictures and videos, which reassured us that Luna was happy, well-cared for, and playing with little Frank. Kristyna warmly welcomed us into her home, putting us at ease right away. We will definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you, Kristyna!”

About: I’ve always been around Pets my whole life from having pets in my household and having many family member’s and friends with pets and I just can’t get enough of them. I work on a 4 on 4 off rotation, which gives me plenty of time to enjoy long walks across the downs on my days off. Perfect for tiring out energetic pups! That said, I know not every dog needs or loves a long walk so I’m flexible, my late dog rarely lasted more than 10 minutes, bless her. I care for pets as if they’re my own, always making sure they feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their environment. I follow any routine you provide and prioritize their well-being, whether that’s playtime, rest, or gentle care for nervous pets. Clean, secure spaces and plenty of affection are always guaranteed
About: Over the past 8 years, my journey as a dog sitter has been both a beloved hobby and a professional pursuit. I’ve cared for a diverse range of breeds, from small chihuahuas to large retrievers, each with their own personalities and needs. This has helped me develop a keen understanding of canine behavior, health, and safety. Balancing fun and discipline, I create engaging environments for dogs to play, learn, and relax. My commitment to providing personalized care has built lasting bonds with both the dogs and their owners, making this journey incredibly fulfilling. As a dedicated dog sitter, I seamlessly balance working from home with providing top-notch care for dogs. This flexibility allows me to offer a loving and attentive environment, ensuring that each dog feels at home while in my care. Whether it’s a quick walk or a day of play, I’m always ready With a Level 3 qualification in health and safety, I bring an extra layer of professionalism and precaution to my dog-sitting services. This expertise ensures a safe environment for the dogs, where their well-being is prioritized, giving pet owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Hello, I’m a big lover of dogs and their individual personalities. We had a family Labrador called Baileys who loved beach walks. I’ve co-parented a Pug called Darcie, who became disabled (her back legs buckled) and I took her for walks in a doggy rucksack, which she loved! Also, before they moved to Scotland, I was an auntie to my friend’s French Bulldog called Travis, who’s a rescue. I currently look after a French Bulldog called Tina - we met and bonded through ‘Borrow My Doggy’. Therefore, I have experience with a range of dogs, including dogs with disabilities as well as nervous, reactive dogs. Being a lover of the outdoors and nature, I enjoy taking dogs out for walks and on little adventures. I believe in giving all dogs the best quality of life and would love the opportunity to be a part of their doggy journey. I would like a dog of my own; however, due to socialising and travelling often my lifestyle won’t allow it. I work in student engagement at a local university and work from home a lot, so am open to a dog keeping me company at my ground floor flat where I live alone and have a front garden. I also have spare time some evenings and weekends, and am open to looking after dogs in owners’ homes overnight and for holidays. I’m happy to answer any questions you have, and look forward to hearing from you and your fur baby. I work from home 4 days a week (days vary), and can take your fur baby to the toilet when needed during this time, and for a walk at lunch and/or after work. At weekends I like to get out in nature and would be happy to take them with me to enjoy the outdoors. I have an unfenced front garden (where I would keep your fluffy one on a lead if required, or would supervise them if they can be off-lead). I live in 2 bedroom flat where I live alone, so lots of space for your fluffy one to be free with me.
“This was a great first experience for Bennie and me. From the photos and videos throughout the day, as well as occasional message updates, i never hsd to worry about her. Leah made sure that Bennie was well taken care of, and there was someone with her at all times. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Hi! I may be new to dog sitting, but I’ve had my hands full for the past two years with my lovable Labrador. Being a dog mum has taught me responsibility, patience, and just how much love and attention dogs need to thrive. I can’t imagine life without dogs now, and I’d love to give your pup the same care, attention, and belly rubs I give my own. Your dog will be treated like part of the family in a safe, loving home environment. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, so they feel comfortable and settled while you're away. For your peace of mind, I am fully insured for pet sitting and home boarding. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will care for them as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and well looked after. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells, or simply curling up on the sofa for a nap, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and one-to-one care. I look forward to welcoming your furry family member into my home and giving them a fun, safe, and happy stay! 🐾❤️ I work part-time, so I have good flexibility for dog care. Thursdays and Fridays work best for me, with the occasional weekend available. As a teacher, I’m often free during school holidays, which means lots of time for overnight stays and doggy day care. Just be sure to book well in advance! I provide a safe and trusted home environment with a securely gated back garden for supervised outdoor time. My friendly Labrador is well-socialized and enjoys the company of other dogs. Indoors, there is ample space for comfortable sleeping areas and quiet rest, allowing your dog to feel calm and cared for.

We had such a great experience today! Jade has been absolutely amazing in looking after Foxy for me. She sent me photos and kept me in the loop for how Foxy was doing for the day, giving me peace of mind. She fed Foxy and took her out for walks. Jade was very helpful and friendly. I can’t thank her more. Really appreciate it :)

We couldn’t be happier with the care our puppy received. From the very first day, it was clear how kind, patient, and attentive she is. She kept us updated, followed all our instructions, and treated our puppy with so much love and care. As first-time puppy parents, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We are extremely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. Thank you so much for everything! 🐾💛

I highly recommend Kotryna. She is always super accommodating and so willing to help with Oscar when she can. Oscar loves visiting and is immediately right at home. I feel reassured he is well taken care of and enjoys lots of cuddles, a walk in the park and Kotryna is great with communication. Oscar is always very relaxed when he comes home, so I know he's had a good day.

Lily and her family took such lovely care of our Lilly. Communication before, during, and after the booking was excellent, and it was clear she was in great hands. Lilly had a brilliant time, was well looked after, and came home happy and tired, which is always the best sign! Highly recommend.

You know within seconds that you'll be comfortable leaving your dog with someone and that's how we felt. Because of a medical condition our dog needs to be fed small amounts at regular intervals and Kate was happy to take the time out to do this. Also, Kate was able to take our dog for a good walk during the day. Can recommend without reservation.
Carmen is fantastic. We feel completely confident and happy leaving Lilly in her care. Lilly was so excited to see her again, which says it all. We really appreciated the lovely photos and the full diary of her day and it’s clear Carmen goes the extra mile to make sure your dog is not just looked after, but genuinely loved and engaged. A brilliant experience all round.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
