About: Hey, I'm Jackie. I've loved and been surrounded by dogs most of my life. :) Growing up, my family bred dachshunds. From a young age, I pet-sat and dog-walked for my neighbour's pets. My first official job was in a mall pet shop, bathing dogs and cleaning cages. In college, I worked at a doggy daycare that looked after dogs of all sizes and breeds. I'm now the proud mom to two small rescue dogs (Maggie & Mango). I also have experience working with cats, small rodents, birds and exotic animals (I've had two pet hedgehogs and have looked after bearded dragons). I'm more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pet before booking. I know how important it is to find the perfect person to take care of your best friend, and I would love to be that person! :) As a freelance voiceover artist, I have a flexible schedule. I'm available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I can easily fit your pet care into my routine and will do my best to accommodate your needs. Currently based in Worthing. I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home and will follow any rules or guidelines you have (ie dogs not allowed in bed or on the sofa). My husband and I can also look after pets in our home. We're both freelancers, so home at all hours. We have a fully enclosed garden, and we also live near lots of lovely dog parks. Please note that we have two rescue dogs of our own. Maggie loves to play with new visitors, but Mango does not care to socialise. All dogs will have constant supervision.
“A huge thank you to Kat. The meet and greet and her flexibility were greatly appreciated! Maisie is usually quite qnxious, but she took to Kat and her children, who are equally chilled and gentle straight away. I would highly recommend!”

About: My husband and I have experience looking after our family and friends dogs and have always enjoyed spending time with them. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and we're happy to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles to help them feel comfortable and at home. We also have a 2-year-old son who has grown up with our own dog, Nacho (2.5yrs old). Because of this, he's very gentle, calm, and confident around dogs, and we've taught him from an early age to respect their space and treat them with kindness. We have a lovely fenced garden for the dogs to play, or if they prefer long walks or simply relaxing with company we can do those too. We'll do our best to make sure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for. One of us is always home and Nacho gets a minimum of two walks a day. We are happy to take up to two dogs at a time and to have a meet and greet before hand for us to meet your dog and for you to see our home. My husband and I both work part-time so between us we are available everyday. Our house is in a peaceful dog friendly neighbourhood, 10 minutes walk from the beach and West Park Recreation Ground. I have a fenced garden and an Australian labradoodle, Nacho who is very friendly and loves other dogs. He would be more than happy to keep your fury companion company whether that's playing or just chilling.
“Helen was great looking after our dog Lana for the morning in her dog friendly house and garden, even on a very hot day she was thoughtful of the dogs needs. Will be booking again.”

“Sven LOVES spending time with Hannah! He waltzes out the door with her and knows exactly where he’s going!! He always comes home happy as larry. Honestly can’t recommend Hannah enough - she makes me feel completely at ease and her communication is amazing. Thank you again Hannah x”

About: I have been a dog owner for the last 10 years and have cared for a variety of breeds alongside my own pets. I have experience with rescues and separation anxiety. I can provide a caring family environment where your dog will receive plenty of love and attention, including two walks per day with my resident dog, Cheddar, who is a friendly, three year old crossbreed. I have a secure, fenced garden for your dog to run and play and the house is situated between three parks and a bridle path leading to Cissbury ring for plenty of doggy exercise. I work part time, from home, during term time so your fur baby will always have company and access to outside space. They will be walked twice a day with our family dog, Cheddar. I have two children that haven’t known a home without dogs, so they are calm and confident around them and understand they need their own space, as well as plenty of attention. If your dog is used to a homely, family environment we could be a great fit! I have a fenced garden and crates if needed. The house is calm and quiet during the day with plenty of space to relax, or play. I can adapt to your dog’s routine to provide a stress free stay.
About: At Doggy Care, I pride myself on offering a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for your canine companions. Whether it's a full day of doggy daycare or an extended stay in our trusted boarding care, I tailor each experience to meet your dog’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of canine behaviour and a passion for animal welfare, I provide personalised attention, structured play, and a cosy home-from-home atmosphere. From puppies to very active dogs, I ensure guests enjoy plenty of exercise, social interaction, and restful downtime under compassionate, watchful care. When your dog stays with me, they become part of my family—because I believe every tail deserves to wag with joy. Pet care is a structured and valued part of my daily and weekly routine. Each morning and evening, I allocate time for feeding, hydration, and general wellness checks to ensure the pet’s health and comfort. Daily walks or play sessions are prioritised to support both physical exercise and emotional enrichment. Throughout the week, my consistent approach not only meets my pet’s essential needs but also strengthens our bond over time. When i'm caring for pets, whether in my own home or a pet owner's home, I tailor the experience to the pet’s specific needs and the service being provided. In-home pet care often involves maintaining a familiar environment for the animal, following feeding schedules, administering medications if needed, ensuring daily exercise and enrichment, and keeping the space clean and safe. When pets stay in my home, I provide a warm, pet-friendly environment that’s structured yet comforting, with plenty of opportunities for play, socialisation, and relaxation. I also maintain regular updates and communication with owners to ensure peace of mind and continuity in care. My approach emphasises consistency, compassion, and attentiveness to each animal’s behaviour and well-being.
“We had such a great experience today! She really saved the day after I forgot to book daycare for our Harlow. From the start, she was so friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Harlow had the best time and came home so happy after making two new friends, especially her super cute dog, Winnie! It was clear he was well looked after and had lots of fun. She was incredibly available, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was little in my family and have always loved dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I permanently moved to Worthing after I graduated university and now have my own dog, Franklin. I have experience with strong big breeds, nervous dogs, older dogs etc. I work from home three days a week, so I have a lot of flexibility for pet care! On those days, I usually take my dog for a walk during my lunch break, or earlier in the morning if it’s a hot day. I also often have weekends free, which is perfect for giving pets lots of extra love and attention. At my home, I have a fully enclosed backyard that’s perfect for safe playtime. My dog Franklin is super friendly and loves having other dogs around to play so any pets staying with us get plenty of love and attention!
“As ever Schnitzel and Pretzel loved their time with Rob and Jocelyn. Fantastic service from a friendly and extremely dog loving couple. I would never leave them with anyone else. They have cared for my fur babies a number of times before and they have always been well loved and cared for.”

About: Hi! I may be new to dog sitting, but I’ve had my hands full for the past two years with my lovable Labrador. Being a dog mum has taught me responsibility, patience, and just how much love and attention dogs need to thrive. I can’t imagine life without dogs now, and I’d love to give your pup the same care, attention, and belly rubs I give my own. Your dog will be treated like part of the family in a safe, loving home environment. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, so they feel comfortable and settled while you're away. For your peace of mind, I am fully insured for pet sitting and home boarding. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will care for them as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe, and well looked after. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells, or simply curling up on the sofa for a nap, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and one-to-one care. I look forward to welcoming your furry family member into my home and giving them a fun, safe, and happy stay! 🐾❤️ I work part-time, so I have good flexibility for dog care. Thursdays and Fridays work best for me, with the occasional weekend available. As a teacher, I’m often free during school holidays, which means lots of time for overnight stays and doggy day care. Just be sure to book well in advance! I provide a safe and trusted home environment with a securely gated back garden for supervised outdoor time. My friendly Labrador is well-socialized and enjoys the company of other dogs. Indoors, there is ample space for comfortable sleeping areas and quiet rest, allowing your dog to feel calm and cared for.

About: I previously had my own Fox Terrier and have many years of experience living with and caring for dogs. When he was young, I undertook six months of structured training with Applied Canine Behaviourist and professional dog trainer Julie Hindle. The experience gave me a good understanding of canine behaviour and body language, and taught me the importance of calm, confident and consistent handling. I now regularly walk and care for dogs for friends, including having dogs stay with me for several weeks at a time. I enjoy getting to know each dog's individual character and adapting my approach to their temperament, age and needs. I live on my own without pets or children, so I can offer visiting dogs a quiet environment with plenty of individual attention. I work independently and have a flexible daily routine, so I can adapt walks and care around a dog's usual schedule. I enjoy walking and spending time outdoors, and having a dog with me fits naturally into my day. When a dog stays with me, I am able to give them plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I take time to understand each dog's normal routine, temperament and boundaries, and aim to keep their care as familiar and consistent as possible. I pay close attention to body language and behaviour, particularly when meeting other dogs or encountering unfamiliar situations. I also have hands-on experience with basic grooming, including brushing, coat care, nail trimming and general hygiene, and am comfortable handling dogs calmly during grooming.
“Liv was amazing. She looked after our 15 week old puppy chilli for a weekend. Liv was so flexible and accommodating and showed so much genuine care and concern for chilli. We felt so comfortable leaving him and he’s come back such a happy puppy She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos of him. Liv is amazing with dogs and we would absolutely recommend her services and will be using her again!”

“Perfect care of our cocker spaniel. He was a very happy boy. Leah was very accommodating with an extra request we had for Alfie that hadn’t been prior arranged This is Alfie’s second time with Leah”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and respect I give to every dog as an individual. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach — I genuinely take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, energy level, and needs so they feel safe, settled, and happy. I’ve always had pet dogs, so caring for them is second nature to me, and I currently have a puppy, which means I’m very familiar with the patience, consistency, and structure puppies need. I’m confident supporting basic puppy training such as lead manners, routines, positive reinforcement, and calm behaviour, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs who may need slower walks, extra reassurance, or medication routines. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely love what I do. I treat every dog as if they were my own — prioritising safety, comfort, enrichment, and affection — so owners can feel completely at ease knowing their dog is in capable, caring hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine alongside my shift work. Because I work shifts, my days off change each week, which actually allows me to be very flexible and available at different times — including weekdays when many sitters aren’t free. On my days off, pet care is my main focus, and I’m able to give dogs my full attention for walks, day care, or sitting. Even on working days, I carefully manage my schedule to ensure every dog receives the time, attention, exercise, and care they need — never rushed and never overlooked. I plan my availability in advance, communicate clearly with owners, and only take on bookings I can fully commit to, so dogs have a calm, consistent, and reliable experience. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in an owner’s home, I follow their routines closely so pets feel secure, comfortable, and relaxed. In my home, dogs are welcomed into a clean, safe, and relaxed environment with plenty of supervision, affection, and appropriate exercise. I make sure spaces are dog-proofed, remove any hazards, and only accept dogs that I’m confident will be a good fit. I will always and ensure they always have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, and mental stimulation. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat the home with complete respect and maintain the dog’s usual routine as closely as possible — including feeding, walks, medication, and sleeping arrangements. I prioritise safety on walks, use secure leads and harnesses as instructed, and provide regular updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I’m calm, attentive, and reliable, and I care for every dog as if they were my own — creating a safe, trusted, and loving experience every time.

Hannah is a lovely, gentle, knowledgeable person and my 2 little characters took to her straight away. I was able to enjoy my special day without fretting about them. She sent me regular photos and updates throughout the day. When I picked my dogs up, they were having a last leg stretch and comfort break. They were happy and relaxed. They'd had a lovely day and will definitely be back. Thank you Hannah. X

Jackie and Adam (and Maggie and Mango) took such great care of Peanut, let him be himself and showed him patience and kindness (mainly Maggie when Pea destroyed her toy), Peanut was happy to come home but wasn't stressed, or eager to leave. Would recommend them to anyone, and will be grateful for them to watch Peanut again. 🥜

We had such a great experience today! Liv was amazing. She looked after our 15 week old puppy chilli for a weekend. Liv was so flexible and accommodating and showed so much genuine care and concern for chilli. We felt so comfortable leaving him and he’s come back such a happy puppy She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos of him. Liv is amazing with dogs and we would absolutely recommend her services and will be using her again!

Jade has been absolutely amazing in looking after Foxy for me. She sent me photos and kept me in the loop for how Foxy was doing for the day, giving me peace of mind. She fed Foxy and took her out for walks. Jade was very helpful and friendly. I can’t thank her more. Really appreciate it :)

We couldn’t be happier with the care our puppy received. From the very first day, it was clear how kind, patient, and attentive she is. She kept us updated, followed all our instructions, and treated our puppy with so much love and care. As first-time puppy parents, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We are extremely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. Thank you so much for everything! 🐾💛

I highly recommend Kotryna. She is always super accommodating and so willing to help with Oscar when she can. Oscar loves visiting and is immediately right at home. I feel reassured he is well taken care of and enjoys lots of cuddles, a walk in the park and Kotryna is great with communication. Oscar is always very relaxed when he comes home, so I know he's had a good day.

Lily and her family took such lovely care of our Lilly. Communication before, during, and after the booking was excellent, and it was clear she was in great hands. Lilly had a brilliant time, was well looked after, and came home happy and tired, which is always the best sign! Highly recommend.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
