About: I have 3 cats-and a dog. I have always been around pets and they are the thing I find best to boost my mood everyday. I have also worked on a farm for 2 years where I worked with big animals like pigs and goats but also the small animals such as chickens and rabbits. I have pet sat a lot recently and I am really enjoying it. I am fully DBS checked and can drive. I am currently in part time education. I am free for around 3 months before I go on placement. I am flexible to visits and times depending on the day/ week. I try to care for animals in a way that suits them. For example, this summer I walked a timid dog for their owner. At the begining she was timid but I allowed her to build trust with myself and she really came out of her shell over the week!

“Jenny took amazing care of our puppy and we felt completely at ease. She’s incredibly friendly, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. We would absolutely book with Jenny again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. 🐶✨”

“Christina provides an excellent home for a dog. She has a lovely Border Colley Cross as a companion for your dog. She takes your dog on long walks and, in my case, kindly sent me updates periodically throughout the day, including a map of my dog's walk. I highly recommend Christina and will definitely use her again.”

About: I have grown up around dogs all my life.and am no stranger to looking after dogs for friends and family. Presently I am the proud owner of Louie - a floodle. Louie is very friendly, having been going to day care at an early age. I live in a pretty village with lots of beautiful countryside for walking your dog close by. I'm a secondary school teacher and I will be available for doggy day care or boarding in the school holidays both weekdays and weekends. I am also available in the Easter holidays. I have a fenced garden and am happy for your pet to sit or sleep on the furniture. Allowed upstairs to sleep but preferably not on the bed.
“Skip looked after our Border Collie, Weller, on 22nd and 25th October when we were up in London. Weller was so happy and enjoyed long walks and plenty of attention. Skip sent regular photos and updates so we knew he was happy, which is so nice. Skip is lovely - bright and chatty, happy and helpful and Weller loves her! We would highly recommend Skip.”

“Ellie was brilliant with our Jack Russell and they clearly got on really well - at the end of the day he was really reluctant to leave and kept looking back over his shoulder for her! She kept us up to date with how the day was going and sent pictures. We'd be happy to book with her again! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Raffi was fantastic – Freddie had the best time with her and her lovely dog Gatsby. I was kept fully informed throughout the day with lots of photos and a few videos, which was really reassuring. Communication was spot on from start to finish and it was clear Freddie was being really well looked after. She took him for a lovely long walk and he came home happy, relaxed, and slept amazingly afterwards. You can tell Raffi genuinely cares about dogs and treats them as if they were her own.”

“Whenever I mention Andys name to our furbaby she goes potty with excitement so that in itself is a reference! Andy has been great, really reliable and responsive. We have used him a few times now, always happy to know that he is available when we need someone 😀 😊”

About: Hi my names Lucy. Im 35 years old, living in Billingshurst, West Sussex. I have been a professional dog walker since 2009. So have plenty of experience looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes! I have experience of rescue dogs and can deal with dogs who suffer from anxiety/nervousness. I do long walks in all weather's! and I only walk a maximum of four dogs at a time. I have volunteered at Battersea Dogs & Cats home and the Mayhew Animal Home. I have studied with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training, and have passed with three certificates. One in understanding canine care & Behaviour, advanced dog on dog aggression & the other is in common canine behavioural problems. So I can offer basic obedience training & behavioural advice as an extra service! Dogs are always cared for with love and attention when they are looked after by me! As dogs deserve the best! I'm available Monday to Friday for dog walking and daycare, and weekends for pet sitting. I do take some weekends off but always cater for regular customers and school holidays. I always make sure dogs are safe and happy and have fresh water at all times. I make sure they are well exercised and have plenty of chews at home. Dogs are never left alone if boarding 24 hours for longer than 3 hours. Dogs with serious separation anxiety are not left alone for longer than 30 minutes. Dogs are only looked after with other well socialised dogs and I never have more than two dogs in the home. I am CRB checked and have my own insurance that includes public liability. If I have keys to people's homes I store them in a safe place in my home and nobody else has access to the keys. I always make sure when leaving the owners property it is securely locked, including windows, back doors and curtains are closed. I also can water plants and look after pet fish, hamsters and chickens!

“My first time using Rover and I was delighted with the whole experience. Vanessa was super welcoming when I dropped my dog off, sent me a reassuring pic during the day so I could see he was settled and relaxed. She made everything so easy - from communication ahead of the day, and in clearly wanting my dog to have a good day. He’s very old so I appreciated Vanessa taking on board the Honda I told her about his likes, dislikes and funny little ways. Thank you so much ☺️ I can totally recommend Vanessa, and Rover”
