Thank you both! Bertie had the best time playing with Rocky and it was lovely to get the photos and updates. I was worried Bertie might not settle as he has not been left before but he was so happy to visit and obviously enjoyed his day. He also slept really well afterwards! Thanks again

About: Hi, I’m Rebecca and I live with my husband Lewis in a secure apartment with a fenced garden, providing a safe and comfortable environment for visiting dogs. I have a hybrid role and Lewis is self employed, so there is always someone at home throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention, care and supervision. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding. Whether it’s regular walks, one off visits or overnight care. I have two very friendly French Bulldogs, Ralph and Rupert, who are used to being around other dogs and enjoy company. I am also fully insured, pet first aid qualified & DBS clear 😊 Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I work a hybrid role mainly based from home during the week. I also have two French Bulldogs, so looking after dogs is already part of my everyday life. I plan my availability around my work schedule, allowing me to offer dependable dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding with plenty of attention and care. In my home, visiting dogs are cared for in a calm, safe and structured environment. I live in a secure apartment with a fenced garden, and dogs are always supervised and never left unattended for long periods. As I work hybrid role and am often at home during the week, dogs receive plenty of attention, companionship and care throughout the day. I follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and rest. I aim to keep things consistent and stress-free so pets feel comfortable and settled. For pet owner homes (drop-in visits), I follow instructions carefully, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks if required and any additional care such as medication or cleaning up. I always ensure the home is secure before leaving and provide updates for peace of mind. I provide regular dog walking, either as part of standalone walks or during drop-in visits at the owner’s home, depending on each dog’s routine and needs. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, energy level and temperament.

About: Having cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments over the years, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep love for animals to my role as a dog sitter and walker. My approach is built on patience, attentiveness, and a commitment to providing dogs with the best possible care while ensuring their happiness and well-being. In my experience, every dog has unique needs. Whether it's a high-energy breed that requires plenty of exercise or a more relaxed dog that prefers leisurely walks, I tailor my care to fit each dog’s personality. I’m highly attuned to canine behavior, which allows me to recognize signs of stress, excitement, or discomfort, ensuring a safe and positive experience during walks and sitting sessions. In addition to physical care, I prioritize mental stimulation and emotional bonding. From engaging play sessions to quiet companionship, I ensure each dog feels valued and loved. Safety is also paramount, and I always maintain a controlled environment, whether it's during walks in the park or while watching them at home. My passion for dogs, combined with my reliable and flexible schedule, makes me the best choice for anyone seeking a caring, professional dog sitter and walker who will treat their pet as if it were their own. I am have a career break so I have plenty of availabilities during the week. Preferably Monday to Friday. I can do home visit, boarding and regular walks. I have a fenced garden that your fur babies can play and run. My two little dogs are the best friends that your dog could have since they have endless energy to socialise yours.

Harry recently spent time with Ciaran and Amy across two days and I couldn't have been happier. This was the first time using a daycare service so went in with a degree of apprehension but after meeting with Ciaran and Amy that disappeared as they're very friendly and clearly have a love of dogs. More importantly, Harry loved spending time with them, was keen to go back the second day and was extremely happy on picking him up. I'd definitely use them again as the need arises and would highly recommend! Thanks Ciaran and Amy!

Both Julie and her daughter Catherine took such wonderful care of our dog Barry. Me and my partner were extremely nervous before hand as after 5 years we have never left him with anyone other than my partners mum and he is a very anxious dog who gets worked up when around new people or a new environment. When we picked him up after a day in their care, he was so calm and relaxed, and had eaten all of his food, which never happens on instances where we go away to a cottage holiday. He often takes longer to settle. Couldn’t recommend more.

We needed day care for our Old English Sheepdog Rae whilst we had a family day out at Thorpe Park, Anneliese’s house was a great location for us. Once the clay pigeon shooting ended for the day Rae was able to relax and enjoy her surroundings. Welcoming and friendly family.

Jenn has been looking after our Cockapoo Henry for around 6 months now and despite not being a particularly out-going dog, he fitted in with Jenn and her dog Everest straight away. Jenn treats Henry as one of her own and he's always delighted to see her when I drop him off. I'm really happy that he's in a safe place and well looked after with lots of cuddles on the sofa!.

Lizzie is wonderful . I was very anxious about leaving my little Lola with a stranger as only had her with family since she was born 3 years ago . As soon as I met Lizzie I knew she would be in safe hands . We did our first day yesterday and was great . Lizzie sent loads of photos and videos and they bonded really well. Lola has separation anxiety and can be nervous so was lovely that by the time I got back to collect her she was on the sofa having cuddles. Is lovely to know I can send her somewhere where she will get full care and attention and will be using Lizzie regularly moving forward . Communication and responses also great

Justyna was an absolute dream, my puppy had an amazing day and was spoilt with walks, play and treats. She sent constant updates so I could see how happy he was. She looked after him so well he is only 20 weeks so can be a handful but she knew just what to do. It was so reassuring to leave him in great care and know he’s well looked after x

About: I’ve been a devoted pet owner for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was never short of furry companionship. I had the joy growing up with two labradors as a child and three years ago I welcomed the perfect little yorkie into my life. These experiences taught me not only the importance of love and care for animals but also the value of training and boundaries. I’m a believer in balanced pet care, structured when needed, but always with plenty of love, patience, and of course, cuddles! Currently, I live with my dog Anja, a friendly and social tiny yorkie who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Your pup would need to be comfortable with her playful nature, as she’s always happy to make new friends. I know how essential it is for your dog to feel at ease in a new environment, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m currently taking a break from my full time job and this allows me to have plenty of flexibility to look after your pup full time. I have a fenced garden and a park nearby that I can take your dog for a good walk and play around. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed and I have plenty of toys for them to be entertained.

Louise was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we met. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away at a wedding. She was also able to accommodate a long day of dog sitting without any issues. Lagertha was well looked after, fed, and taken for walks, and I came home to one very tired and happy pup! Thank you so much for taking such great care of her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louise to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

About: I’ve had my cats for over 6 years and we’ve been through quite a journey together. My cats travelled with me from my mother town to this beautiful country and we’ve now settled into our new home here.❤️🐈🐈 Looking after my cat throughout a big change, I understand how important it is to be patient, caring and understand of a pet’s needs, especially when they are in an unfamiliar environment. I’m also a massive dog lover, although I’ve never had an opportunity to own a dog myself. I do have experience walking and spending time with dogs. I’ve always loved dogs and really enjoy their company. I will be delighted to have the opportunity to care for them too! 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 I’m currently working as a part time and a freelance Math Private Tutor and therefore my schedule is flexible. I am happy to adapt to each pet’s individual routine, whether they need regular walks, playtime, feeding, or simply cuddling😚. I live in a comfortable apartment and have two cats of my own and my place is definitely a calm, clean and pet-friendly home environment. I’m happy to take dogs outside for regular walks and there is a lovely business park nearby. At home, I can provide plenty of attention, playtime and companionship.

We had a lovely experience with Eve looking after our rescue dog, Ziggy, for the day. Eve was really caring and attentive, and we especially appreciated receiving an update on how Ziggy was doing while he was with her. When we picked him up that evening, Eve took the time to talk us through how he had been throughout the day. She noticed that he seemed a little anxious, which we really appreciated her being aware of, and reassured us that she would do her best to comfort and settle him. As a rescue, we know that Ziggy may need a little time to adjust to staying with a dog sitter and feel completely comfortable, so we’re hoping that with patience and positive experiences he’ll slowly build his confidence. We’re really grateful to Eve for her patience, understanding and the care she showed Ziggy. It’s reassuring to know he’s being looked after by someone who genuinely cares about his wellbeing. We’d definitely recommend Eve and look forward to Ziggy hopefully becoming more settled with her over time! 🐾❤️

Finley had his first day care with Kay yesterday. We found Kay very kind and friendly. She sent us a message to let us know that Finley had settled and was getting on okay. Kay’s home is very well set up with dog gates and a secure grassed back garden. We are confident that Finley will be well looked after and have no hesitation in recommending Kay

Justyna took great care of Duggee during his daycare stay. He had such a lovely time! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which was really reassuring. They went on a long walk, and she also has a big garden for the dogs to enjoy. After he got dirty on his walk, she even washed him, which was so thoughtful. He came home happy, clean, and nicely tired after a fun day. He can’t wait to go back again! I would definitely recommend Justyna.

There are 14,299 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Surrey Heath. About 86% of Surrey Heath sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Surrey Heath commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
