About: Hi, I’m Rebecca and I live with my husband Lewis in a secure apartment with a fenced garden, providing a safe and comfortable environment for visiting dogs. I have a hybrid role and Lewis is self employed, so there is always someone at home throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention, care and supervision. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding. Whether it’s regular walks, one off visits or overnight care. I have two very friendly French Bulldogs, Ralph and Rupert, who are used to being around other dogs and enjoy company. I am also fully insured, pet first aid qualified & DBS clear 😊 Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I work a hybrid role mainly based from home during the week. I also have two French Bulldogs, so looking after dogs is already part of my everyday life. I plan my availability around my work schedule, allowing me to offer dependable dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding with plenty of attention and care. In my home, visiting dogs are cared for in a calm, safe and structured environment. I live in a secure apartment with a fenced garden, and dogs are always supervised and never left unattended for long periods. As I work hybrid role and am often at home during the week, dogs receive plenty of attention, companionship and care throughout the day. I follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and rest. I aim to keep things consistent and stress-free so pets feel comfortable and settled. For pet owner homes (drop-in visits), I follow instructions carefully, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks if required and any additional care such as medication or cleaning up. I always ensure the home is secure before leaving and provide updates for peace of mind. I provide regular dog walking, either as part of standalone walks or during drop-in visits at the owner’s home, depending on each dog’s routine and needs. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, energy level and temperament.

“Both Julie and her daughter Catherine took such wonderful care of our dog Barry. Me and my partner were extremely nervous before hand as after 5 years we have never left him with anyone other than my partners mum and he is a very anxious dog who gets worked up when around new people or a new environment. When we picked him up after a day in their care, he was so calm and relaxed, and had eaten all of his food, which never happens on instances where we go away to a cottage holiday. He often takes longer to settle. Couldn’t recommend more.”

About: Hi! We are Anneliese & Darcie, a mum and daughter duo who are reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitters based in Bisley. We have always had a deep love for animals, and we treat every dog like our own.Whether you need long or short term boarding, we are committed to following your pet's exact routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. We live on a 1 acre secure plot of land and work from home, meaning your dog will get plenty of companionship, playtime, and regular walks. Experience: We have two dogs of our own, a Hungarian Vizsla and a Miniature Dashchund. We have looked after many family and friends dogs from Border Terriers to French Bulldogs so understand what different breeds require. We also have experience with senior dogs who need more relaxed considered care. Updates: We love sending daily photo and video updates to give owners peace of mind! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet! I run my own business from home so can give your fur baby as much attention as they need. My daughter Darcie is 17 years old and studying Animal Care at College 4 days a week. I also have two other sons age 15 and 11. My husband and mum are also around so your dog will get plenty of attention. We have lots of woodland around our house so like to walk there or we go to Goldsworth Park and Horsell Common. We live on a 1 acre plot so even when not on walks your dog will have full safe access to our land all day. We provide lots of indoor and outside space and are a caring supportive family who will look after your dog as our own.
“Jenn has been looking after our Cockapoo Henry for around 6 months now and despite not being a particularly out-going dog, he fitted in with Jenn and her dog Everest straight away. Jenn treats Henry as one of her own and he's always delighted to see her when I drop him off. I'm really happy that he's in a safe place and well looked after with lots of cuddles on the sofa!.”

“Hannah and Jack are one of the best sitters out there. You can relax when they are having your pup in their care. As always they help us with our pup to have an amazing day full of play with Copper and kept us updated through out the day with lots of pictures. Thank you so much for being you 🥰🥰.”

“the whole process was very easy and Ellie settled very quickly with Ciaran who looked after her for the day. we are glad we found Ciaran and look forward to making another booking.”

About: I fell in love with dogs when I was about 8 when I met my first golden retriever. In 2017 I finally got my own golden retriever with my ex but he sadly got him as I was office based. I am now fully remote and miss the cuddles and companionship. I have one cat who is very much an outdoor cat who ignores dogs and keeps his distance. I also have a 7 year old son who lives with me 50% of the time. I work full time at home and have an empty house every other week as I have shared custody of my child. This gives me 7 days every other week with being at home and available for lots of cuddles and walks. I have a home with a fenced in back garden, I would typically use horsell common or the wetlands for a good walk, I’m familiar with the needs of a dog after having a golden retriever from when he was a puppy, I fully respect crate training but if they’re allowed, I would welcome cuddles on the sofa, sleeping on my bed at night and whatever their favourite treats are - carrots, apples, a little bit of banana 🥰
About: I specialise in looking after working breeds and high energy dogs, although I’ll happily look after your sofa pup too! Offering a wrap around service including pickup/ drop off, daycare and sitting in my home with my dog. Cuddles and lots of enriching walks with scent work and gun dog training, and regular pupdates so you can keep up to date with your dogs adventures with me. I work freelance, and offer my services between my contracts so your pup has my full attention and day. Our day will be filled with a long walk exploring the woods, followed by chill out time back at home, and a couple of short toilet and play breaks in the garden. I can walk your dog with mine or separately if you prefer, although most dogs are happy to come on adventures with Charlie. I don’t look after dogs when I’m working, so I tend to not accept sitting far in advance. I’m great for that last minute trip or booking. I have a fenced in garden, and look after dogs along with my dog friendly cocker spaniel Charlie. I offer a truely dog friendly home where your dog is welcome to curl up on the sofa or bed with after their walk. Happy to crate if preferred. I offer off lead( if approved by you) walks in the woods and the heaths. I am used to working line and high energy dogs and their needs.
“I’ve had Eddie stay with Sally on numerous occasions. She is my go to lady for day care and boarding and Eddie pulls on the lead to get in to her house when I drop him off. Highly recommend”

“Michael did a fantastic job, and Blue loved his first-ever doggy daycare. The process was very easy, and Michael was very helpful throughout. Blue was well walked, fed, and worn out playing with Buddy. He was a very happy and tired blue who clearly had a great day. I can't recommend Michael highly enough. Fantastic service.”

About: I’ve taken care of all dogs. Including Beagles, Staffordshires, Vislas, Akitas and everything in between I am experienced in training and nurturing all types of dogs and all age groups, different approaches depending on breed, character, and attitude. Overall a confident dog handler. I can administer medication if required but please do specify, as this will carry a separate charge. Generally your dog can expect full time care - 3 / 1hr walks per day, with games and training depending on the ask. I work from home, so your dog will have constant company and attention throughout the day. I spend most of my time caring for and working with animals, and I take a hands-on, attentive approach to both care and training. I have experience with a wide range of temperaments, including more challenging or anxious dogs. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs plenty of stimulation, or prefers a calmer environment with comfort and reassurance, I tailor my approach to suit them. Dogs in my care are kept well exercised, mentally stimulated, and fully engaged — I find that when their needs are met, everything else naturally falls into place. I have a secure, gated garden with plenty of space and grass for safe outdoor time, and because I’m home-based, your dog will never be left alone. They’ll also have the company of Hiro — my gentle, sweet-natured (and blind) dog, who is incredibly kind and friendly with others. I don’t have children, so the environment is calm and controlled.

“We've left Frida with Tania a couple of times now, she and Tom have looked after her brilliantly. Frida loved them and we knew she was in the best possible hands. We will definitely be using them again.”

“I was so, so nervous about booking a dogsitter as it was going to be my dog's first ever day with a dogsitter, and another dog and in another house! I took Jack round to meet Dre before hand and JC was so lovely and reassuring with us - the home enviroment is dog friendly and secure and near plenty of nice park walks - he is a jack russell and likes to think he is in charge of everything and everyone and as JC also has a jack russell i knew she would know how to manage him! On the day JC picked him up in the morning and sent loads of photos throughout the day and i was so relieved to see him looking relaxed and playing with Dre. when we went to collect him at the end of the day they were out on their 2nd hour long walk of the day so i waited at the address for him and when i saw him come round the corner looking like he had not a care in the world i was so happy! He had an absolutley fantastic time with Dre and JC and i am already making my next booking-I couldnt be hapier ! Thank you JC”

“Milana is a perfect sitter! Milana, her partner and Barley welcomed Bruce in and he looked to have a great day! They agreed to help out very last minute and saved the day for me - will absolutely look to book again in future 😊”

Justyna took great care of Duggee during his daycare stay. He had such a lovely time! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which was really reassuring. They went on a long walk, and she also has a big garden for the dogs to enjoy. After he got dirty on his walk, she even washed him, which was so thoughtful. He came home happy, clean, and nicely tired after a fun day. He can’t wait to go back again! I would definitely recommend Justyna.

We have left our spaniel Spuddie with Jolene on several occasions now, both daycare and boarding and have always felt confident that he’s been well looked after. Jolene is lovely, very welcoming, as is her playful and friendly Labrador Gracie. I would highly recommend.

Lisa was great with Buddy and asked to meet him before the day of booking so he wasn’t too unsettled at being left with her for the first time. It is clear she is very fond of dogs and she even shared a photo of him looking very happy having cuddles during the day. I will be booking her again.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
