“Absolutely lovely family who have really made every effort to ensure that our pup has settled in well with them. Our dog rushes up to the front door, tail wagging, in the mornings which tells me all I need to know 🐾”

“When I went to pick up Freddy he was running around the garden having the time of his life with magdalena and her daughter. Was so nice to see, he was very tired after the day (good sign) and I could tell he had a great time. Good communication throughout with pictures and updates. 100% rebooking”

“Eden was great with Otto, she was a life saver and agreed to have him for me on such short notice! You can tell just how much she loves dogs and I felt really comfortable leaving him with her, Otto can't wait to see you and Bertie again ☺️”

“Gina was very welcoming and our dog was happy to be with her. There is a good secure garden for dogs to to run around. Our dog can be nervous in new situations but seemed very settled with Gina. Would definitely ask Gina to care for our dog again.”

“It's been very hard trying to find someone to look after my two rescue dogs, one of whom is very nervous but Julia is lovely. They were excited when they arrived at her property and when I picked them up I could see they had really bonded with her. Very pleased!”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time dog mum and work from home, which means your dog will have company, supervision and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’ve had two dogs in the past and now share my home with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Baileys. Raising her has given me hands-on experience with puppy training, daily routines, positive reinforcement and understanding each dog’s individual needs. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll care for them as if they were my own. Whether they enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles or simply relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and loved. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, I only accept fully vaccinated, friendly dogs who are comfortable around other dogs, as they’ll be spending time with Baileys. Your dog’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so your dog will have company and supervision throughout most of the day. Walks, playtime, toilet breaks and rest will all be tailored to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a clean, calm and smoke-free home with my friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Baileys. I only accept fully vaccinated dogs that are friendly with other dogs. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding, medication (if needed), walks and any house rules, to keep your dog’s routine as consistent as possible.
“Izabel tool great of my senior dog Charlie. He is deaf and blind so he can present some challenges, but Izabel was very attentive and made sure he was always safe and sound. Thank you!”

“Our dog has been staying with Laura for a few months now. He always has the best time. She has lots of other friendly dogs that day board which means he always has a special time and comes back nice and tired. Laura has also been great to leave Milo with at holidays, with lots of regular updates to keep us involved.”

“Winnie had a great two days with Tyler. She was very excited to come back on the second day, which is always a good sign as she can be a little nervous. Will definitely come back!”

“Cookie and Muffin had a lovely day with James and his wife. They clearly enjoyed their walks from the photos sent - with lots of fussing - and running around the garden. They got on well with James’ two dogs who were very friendly and will have been good company. It felt like a perfect home from home for them. Very pleased and will definitely be booking again.”

“Daisy-Mae is visibly very excited when she sees Kim and John. When Daisy-Mae is collected after her stay she looks very happy. Kim sends us regular updates on her stay and updates us on Daisy-Mae's eating habits (as she is a fussy eater).Daisy-Mae is very well looked after by Kim and John.”

“Marla had a great time with Richard and he handled her with care and with respect for her individual personality traits - namely nervousness and energy! He is obviously very comfortable with dogs and sent me updates throughout her days so I never had to worry about her having fun without me. Would highly recommend Richard for your furry best mate's needs :-)”

“Anastasia was a great sitter for our little Chewie! Gave us loads of updates, plenty of walks and it was clear Chewie had the best time! He’s already looking forward to next time :)”

Dhriti was amazing with Milo! She took such great care of him—making sure he was fed, walked, and happy throughout the day. I really appreciated the regular updates, which gave me total peace of mind. Milo clearly loved his time with her. I’ll definitely be rebooking—highly recommend!

Sophie was so thorough getting to know our boy before she took care of him - she made sure she knew his likes, dislikes and quirks beforehand and sent pics to us whilst looking after him. He clearly had a lovely time as was snuggling with Sophie when I arrived to collect. He was super tired after his day/walk so sleeping like a dream now!

So great to have found Holly to help me out with the dogs. They settled in very quickly and from the photos/video she sent during the afternoon, they were having a lovely time with her getting lots of attention. If I'm ever in that area and need help I wouldn't hesitate to go to Holly again - I'd highly recommend her.

Sophie looks after Teddy twice a week and we honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better. She is incredibly accommodating, flexible and always so helpful. Teddy has the most fantastic days with her and it is clear how much she genuinely cares for the dogs in her care. She keeps a lovely record of their time together, sends regular photos and updates, and is always so enthusiastic. The space she provides is amazing, with plenty of room for the dogs to run, play and just be dogs. We feel so lucky to have found her and are truly grateful for the love and care she gives Teddy.

We used this as my daughter wanted to go to Legoland whilst we were in London for half term. I was a bit nervous as I have never used it before. Charlotte kept us updated and took a few photos. There was no need to be nervous as Charlotte said Chief was good as gold and no problems at all. Thankyou Charlotte as my daughter had a great time at Legoland 😊

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions

- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
