About: Friends and neighbours have often relied on me to drop in twice a day for feeding and interaction to provide their cat with company and attention while they have been away. Should your cat choose to accept me, I provide gentle, calm and affectionate attention and engage with toys or games should they be willing but in times where they prefer to go "solo" then, being present without interaction is equally important. On lucky occasions I have also been greeted with little "gifts" so have become accustomed to the sad and careful removal of things with wings!

About: I have had dogs for 10+ years. Prior to that, when I lived in London, we regularly looked after dogs through the "Borrow My Doggy" app. I am regularly working from home. We have our own dog, and I also only work 2 days a week. We have a lovely, friendly beagle of our own who loves people, children and having dogs over. I will be in charge of doggy care. I work from home, so I can be very flexible. I have a large garden, and our house backs onto a cricket field and park, which is lovely for walks. The downstairs of our house can be contained and has wood floors, which is good for dogs and keeping them clean. We love going for walks. I work from home at times and only work part-time. Our garden is safe and secure, as we have a beagle we have to ensure its secure for her.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs and animals my whole life. One of my childhood pets is a rescue from Romania, my family and I have aided her from an aggressive and scared dog, into an independent and calmer version of herself. This meant that I had to quickly learn the importance of patience and boundaries. This has inspired me to begin working with animals and specifically dogs. About: I’ve always had dogs, and my own 5-year-old cocker spaniel, Toby, is very much the centre of our world. We’ve had him since he was 9 weeks old, so I have hands-on experience from puppyhood onwards, including house training, crate training, basic commands and tricks. Toby is a lively, vocal and very affectionate cocker who loves company, enrichment and a good cuddle. He’s also a cheeky boy who can jump, bark and sometimes struggle to settle, so I’m very comfortable with dogs who are energetic, excitable or need a little extra patience. I understand how important routine is to dogs. Toby knows his routine like clockwork, and I’d treat your pet’s routine with exactly the same care. I’ll follow your instructions closely around feeding, walks, medication, enrichment and everything else that helps your pet feel safe and settled. I’m comfortable administering tablets, liquid medication and eye drops, and I’ve cared for Toby following surgery, including keeping a very energetic dog calm and rested when he really didn’t want to be! I’ve also looked after my mum’s Westie, who is nervous around both people and other dogs and has allergies and a specific diet. His needs are very different from Toby’s, so we adapt his walks and give him the space he needs. I also regularly care for my brother-in-law’s young Black Lab, who is boisterous, ball-obsessed and experiences some separation anxiety. I pay close attention to a dog's body language and let them set the pace. If they want space, they’ll have it. If they want cuddles, they’ll be thoroughly spoiled. If they’re restless, I’ll look for whether they need a walk, some enrichment or simply a bit of attention. I’m also very comfortable with puppies, older dogs, nervous dogs and energetic dogs, as well as enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, Kongs, puzzle games and scent-based games. I’m happy to help with brushing, tick removal and bathing where a dog is comfortable with it. Most importantly, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I find it hard leaving Toby myself, because I know how much trust is involved in asking someone else to care for your dog. I would never ignore your instructions, take unnecessary risks or treat their care casually. My aim is for your pet to be as safe, comfortable, pampered and loved as Toby is at home. I’m self-employed, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I am self employed so can easily work my schedule around whatever your dog needs. I’m available at short notice most of the time and have plenty of time, attention and love to share. My preference is to care for your dogs in your home at first, as this is where most pets tend to feel most relaxed. My own dog takes some time to warm up to dogs before they enter his space so this is something that we could work towards introducing in a way that keeps both our pets happy and comfortable.

About: Comfortable with any breed or temperament, I specialise in high energy, high prey drive dogs and I keep a fast pace to match. I offer both long walks and slower sniff walks, and I have set routes chosen for distance, surface, and location. Millie, my 5yo female lurcher, has been my daily walking companion for over a year, in all weather. Before Millie, I looked after my neighbour's Italian Greyhound for several weekends. I watch closely for signs of stress or a need for space and adjust accordingly. Dog walking isn't something I fit around my day, it's the shape of it. I walk my own dog, Millie, three to four times daily, rain or shine. I work from home and client walks slot into those same windows. Pick up and drop off happens on foot, with Millie alongside. For a first booking, I always arrange a meet and greet first to make sure Millie and your dog get on before the actual walk. I carry a basic dog first aid kit at all times and I'm fully insured. If transport is ever needed, I also have a car and can secure your dog safely for the journey.

I’m also happy to send you updates and photos while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and being well cared for. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and will always make sure everything is left safe and secure. I’m particularly careful with doors, gates and anything else that could affect your pet’s safety. About: I've had dogs in my life, as long as I can remember. Whether it be in our family home or when visiting relatives and friends. I have a lovely Frenchie called Stitch, she is 1 yr & 3 mths, she loves all dogs she meets and is happy to share her home and garden.
