About: I have had dogs my entire life, but have been doing it professionally for over 4 years working as a dog carer, offering dog day care and dog boarding at my own home. Hoping to give dogs a home away from home when their families are busy and away. I am a stay at home mum and my only job besides taking care of the kids is taking care of the dogs. I stay home with them all day, the only moments I have to leave the dogs is when i am doing the school run for the kids. The dogs always get lots of exercise playing with each other around the house and in the garden and we go for a walk at some point in the day. I take care of the dogs in my own home. The dogs have access to every room of thre house. They are allowed in the sofas and the beds and they are treated like our own dog in this home. The garden is fenced all around which gives them the freedom to come and go as they wish in the garden.

I have an extremely timid, anxious cat who does not favour strangers and prior cat sitters did not go down well. Ellie was a completely different thing: over time my cat started to get more comfortable and even eat in Ellie’s presence one evening which is unheard of. Additionally Ellie spent time with her and applied such level of patience, warmth and understanding, which I love. She went the extra mile by feeding my cat outside the agreed set up on realising that the automatic feeder wasn’t functioning properly (she did not want my cat to go hungry). Her daily updates with photos were my highlight of each day I was away. I loved them! Can’t thank or recommend Ellie enough! She’s a gem!”
“Vera is an excellent sitter and I couldn’t be happier to have found her. She’s warm, caring and gentle and dealt with polo (our very demanding cat) with so much love and affection. It was a long stay (9 days) and I didn’t ever have to chase for an update which was so comforting. I got an update with photos twice a day. polo looked really at peace and comfortable in their home, just as she would be in ours. Vera’s daughter Aasia was very kind and gentle with polo as well and is very fond of cats. About: Friends and neighbours have often relied on me to drop in twice a day for feeding and interaction to provide their cat with company and attention while they have been away. Should your cat choose to accept me, I provide gentle, calm and affectionate attention and engage with toys or games should they be willing but in times where they prefer to go "solo" then, being present without interaction is equally important. On lucky occasions I have also been greeted with little "gifts" so have become accustomed to the sad and careful removal of things with wings!

About: I have had dogs for 10+ years. Prior to that, when I lived in London, we regularly looked after dogs through the "Borrow My Doggy" app. I am regularly working from home. We have our own dog, and I also only work 2 days a week. We have a lovely, friendly beagle of our own who loves people, children and having dogs over. I will be in charge of doggy care. I work from home, so I can be very flexible. I have a large garden, and our house backs onto a cricket field and park, which is lovely for walks. The downstairs of our house can be contained and has wood floors, which is good for dogs and keeping them clean. We love going for walks. I work from home at times and only work part-time. Our garden is safe and secure, as we have a beagle we have to ensure its secure for her.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs and animals my whole life. One of my childhood pets is a rescue from Romania, my family and I have aided her from an aggressive and scared dog, into an independent and calmer version of herself. This meant that I had to quickly learn the importance of patience and boundaries. This has inspired me to begin working with animals and specifically dogs. From the age of 15 I started pet sitting for some of my friends animals whilst they were away and as I moved to university I continued to help. I signed up to volunteer on the website Borrow My Doggy where I would look after and walk dogs when their owners became too busy. But since moving back to Surrey I have recently become a community volunteer for the RSPCA, meaning I deliver animal food to numerous homeless shelters. I am hoping to also get involved in some events and dog walking at the shelters in the near future. I’m currently looking for a part time job for the summer, however, at this present time I am available to help from 9am - 6pm during the weekdays and 10am - 8pm during the weekend. Therefore, I currently have a very flexible schedule to help you! I have a large fenced off garden with plenty of place for your pups to play! It catches plenty of sun with various shaded areas. About: I had a dog for 4 years and I was her main carer, I would feed her, take her for walks and take her to the vet when needed. I also helped my sister take care of dogs she was dog sitting from the Rover app! I have also dog sat my cousins beautiful German shepherd a few times. About: I once had a wonderful miniature schnauzer who brought joy to our lives for 17 years. I absolutely love dogs, and my 8-year-old daughter is completely smitten with them too. About: I’ve lived in many houses and can deal with most situations calmly and sensibly. I have owned springer spaniels and have experience sitting for King Charles spaniels, working Cocker spaniels, a variety of terriers, mini Schnauzers, Labradors and cockapoos. I’ve looked after old dogs, blind and deaf as well as younger energetic ones - but I do like them to have some training so I’m not being towed around and then we can have fun together while I keep your pet safe and happy. I like to meet you and your dog(s) before sitting for you. I am mainly available in the weekday mornings but may cover some afternoons and weekends as well with enough notice. House sits are usually 3-5 days but can be longer with some notice. I’m also happy to travel within the UK coast and countryside for house sitting and have done a number of sits in central Scotland.. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home and neighbourhood where they feel most comfortable but can drive them to longer walks (depending on size of dog!). I can care for young puppies though I’m also used to older dogs who need company and short frequent walks/toilet breaks. Im experienced with most medications and special care vet though not injections. I’ll just try to keep your dog safe and happy around your home and out for exercise - and will send you updates/photos as often as you like.
