“Catherine was excellent. She came twice a day to feed and give the cats their medication. We were sent a note and photos after each visit which was lovely. We have 2 cats each with a different personality 1 was only too pleased to have some strokes and attention each visit. The other is quite aloof and even with family members will often go upstairs or outside until they have gone but he came round to Catherine and for the last few days was also waiting for attention. Catherine is very conscientious and when traffic grid lock prevented her feeding them at their normal time she went home and came out later to get to them. We would happily use Catherine again.”

About: Caring for my rescue dog from Romania, who was timid and scared, has taught me patience, understanding and how to confidently handle dogs of all personalities. I have a flexible part-time schedule, so I can offer walks, playtime, and drop ins most days. I’ll do my best to fit around your dog’s routine! I don’t currently accommodate dogs at my home. All walks and visits would take place outside or at your home, where your dog can feel safe and relaxed.
About: Friends and neighbours have often relied on me to drop in twice a day for feeding and interaction to provide their cat with company and attention while they have been away. Should your cat choose to accept me, I provide gentle, calm and affectionate attention and engage with toys or games should they be willing but in times where they prefer to go "solo" then, being present without interaction is equally important. On lucky occasions I have also been greeted with little "gifts" so have become accustomed to the sad and careful removal of things with wings!

“Vera is an excellent sitter and I couldn’t be happier to have found her. She’s warm, caring and gentle and dealt with polo (our very demanding cat) with so much love and affection. It was a long stay (9 days) and I didn’t ever have to chase for an update which was so comforting. I got an update with photos twice a day. polo looked really at peace and comfortable in their home, just as she would be in ours. Vera’s daughter Aasia was very kind and gentle with polo as well and is very fond of cats. I would recommend Vera and her home a 100% and I am sure I will book with her every time that we are away , subject to her availability.”

“Ellie is extremely thoughtful and attentive. Her calm, collected and gentle style shone through at every stage of her various visits. I have an extremely timid, anxious cat who does not favour strangers and prior cat sitters did not go down well. Ellie was a completely different thing: over time my cat started to get more comfortable and even eat in Ellie’s presence one evening which is unheard of. Additionally Ellie spent time with her and applied such level of patience, warmth and understanding, which I love. She went the extra mile by feeding my cat outside the agreed set up on realising that the automatic feeder wasn’t functioning properly (she did not want my cat to go hungry). Her daily updates with photos were my highlight of each day I was away. I loved them! Can’t thank or recommend Ellie enough! She’s a gem!”

Animals have always been a big part of our lives, we’ve had both dogs and cats growing up and throughout our adult life, so caring for pets comes naturally to us. We currently have a beautiful Golden Retriever called Charlie, who we brought over with us from South Africa when we immigrated, and our cat Jag. The two of them are the best of mates! About: I have been surrounded by dogs and animals my whole life. One of my childhood pets is a rescue from Romania, my family and I have aided her from an aggressive and scared dog, into an independent and calmer version of herself. This meant that I had to quickly learn the importance of patience and boundaries. This has inspired me to begin working with animals and specifically dogs. From the age of 15 I started pet sitting for some of my friends animals whilst they were away and as I moved to university I continued to help. I signed up to volunteer on the website Borrow My Doggy where I would look after and walk dogs when their owners became too busy. But since moving back to Surrey I have recently become a community volunteer for the RSPCA, meaning I deliver animal food to numerous homeless shelters. I am hoping to also get involved in some events and dog walking at the shelters in the near future. I’m currently looking for a part time job for the summer, however, at this present time I am available to help from 9am - 6pm during the weekdays and 10am - 8pm during the weekend. Therefore, I currently have a very flexible schedule to help you! I have a large fenced off garden with plenty of place for your pups to play! It catches plenty of sun with various shaded areas. About: I have been dog mad since I was a child, always wanting to be around dogs as they bring me such comfort. I have had an English Springer Spaniel for the past 11 years.
