“My first experience leaving my dog with this wonderful couple. Can't recommend them more! They looked after my dog beautifully. She obviously has the time of her life with cuddles, playing with her new doggy friends and even a sausage! She seemed so chilled and very happy when I collected her. I was also sent reassuring photos of her having a great day. A fantastic choice of dogsitters. Cannot recommend them enough. Lovely couple. Fantastic service. Thank you 😊🐕”

“Nicola had my young puppy for his first time in daycare. She was absolutely brilliant with him, completely put both my, and his mind at ease. Nicola knew exactly what to do and gave me some fantastic tips as a first time puppy owner I was very grateful for. My puppy had a fantastic day when I picked him up and would have stayed longer if he could have! Will definitely be using Nicola again :) Thank you!!”
“Cookie and Muffin had a lovely day with Julia. Two nice long walks avoiding the heat of the day which nicely tired them out for a nice quiet evening after we collected them. Julia clearly loves looking after the dogs who stay with her and the level of care was excellent. We would have no qualms about rebooking Julia and she's gone right to the top of our list for the next times we need a dog sitter.”

About: Had horses and dogs since I was 10 years of age. Have bred horses and dogs, on other websites I’m rated 2nd in Surrey for dog boarding. I’m available every day for my clients dogs, I normally walk the dogs around 10am and 4pm every day. Have a park just around the corner. I live in a 3 bedroom detached bungalow with a large secure rear garden. There are stair gates up in the house to stop dogs getting to the front door.
About: I've been working in dog daycare premises for over 9 years, training dogs of different breeds and ages to walk off leads (recall) in beautiful Royal Parks. In the mean time I was offering boarding services and I have learned how to look after very young puppies, pregnant dogs, old dogs and special needs dogs. I have also obtained few qualifications like the Professional Dog Walker Certification and the K9 1st Aid Certificate. At the moment my days are all dedicated to look after dogs. I have full availability throughout the day and during weekends as well. The dogs will never be left on their own as I work from home and I'll be available full time. I have plenty of space in my flat and I have a private fenced garden. The dogs have their own dedicated area where they can relax through the day and also full access to the garden. My obsession for dog's safety has led me to own a professional van fitted with secured crates and enhanced build in air conditioning system so the dogs can travel to local parks safely even during the hottest days.
“Bailey had an amazing time, I received lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. He even gleefully jumped up towards the house, I could see he was looking forward to his day care”

“Kristina looked over my dog over the day. She sent constant updates and regular messages about my puppy. My puppy came home happy and sleepy, as she played all day. Would recommend 100 times.”

“Thank you, Jacob, for spending the day caring for our dear puppy. Your communication was excellent from the start — you took the time to learn about Skye’s routines and needs before meeting her, which gave us real confidence. When we dropped her off in the morning, you welcomed her so lovingly into your home, and when we collected her later she was clearly happy and settled. I could even hear you both playing in the garden. The photos and videos you shared throughout the day were a lovely reassurance. All in all, Skye was in wonderful hands, and we’ll definitely be arranging support with you again.”

“I booked two consecutive days of doggy day care with Stefano, and his lovely family was very welcoming to our Bella. Bella formed a bond with their family dog, Jack, and his daughter. He sent videos and photo updates which was reassuring. He was very accomodating with the times, as sadly I had to leave Bella with him for over 13hours. Overall, Bella had a fantastic time, ran back to his house just after saying goodbye. Will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve always been passionate about dogs and grew up with a variety of breeds, including Spaniels, Pointers, and Rottweilers. Until recently, I shared my home with Paisley, my beloved Doberman, who was a joyful and gentle companion to many guest dogs. Though she sadly passed due to complications following surgery, the love, knowledge, and experience I gained through her continue to shape the way I care for every dog that stays with us. I now also have a young child under 3, who is growing up alongside the dogs in a safe and supervised environment. This means your pup will experience plenty of family life while still receiving the same care, structure, and attention as always. I work full-time remotely from home, and my partner is also home most of the time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. We have a fully enclosed garden for safe play, and a garden room that can be used if your dog prefers a quieter space to relax. I frequently care for my mum’s and sister’s dogs, and I’m experienced in managing multiple dogs in a calm, loving environment. Your pup will be welcomed into our home as part of the family. I work full-time from home as a Data Analyst, and my partner also works from home most days. Outside of work, we enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active. I developed a love for dog agility through weekend sessions with my late Doberman, Paisley, and I continue to incorporate fun, stimulating activities into daily routines with the dogs I care for. Whether it’s a walk, playtime in the garden, or a bit of casual training, I always aim to keep your pup engaged and happy We have a fully enclosed garden, perfect for safe play and exploration. While we no longer have a resident dog, our home remains very dog-friendly, and we genuinely enjoy the company of our guest pups. My partner and I both work from home in the heart of the house, so your dog will always have companionship and care throughout the day. We’ve both been raised with dogs, including larger breeds, and are well-versed in understanding the unique traits and needs of different dogs. Whether your pup is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home with us.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life — I got my first pup at 8 years old and have cared for many pets since! While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I love spending time caring for family and friends’ pets — and now I’m excited to offer that same care and attention through Rover. I’m a lifelong pet lover who works from home, which means I have plenty of time to give your pet all the cuddles, playtime, and attention they deserve while you’re away. 🐶🐱 I’m available most days of the week for boarding and dog sitting, so feel free to send me a message to work out dates — your dog’s new best friend is just a click away! 🦴 Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I provide a calm, loving environment where pers feel secure, comfortable, and cared for like family. You can trust they will be well cared for!

Cookie and Muffin had a lovely day with James and his wife. They clearly enjoyed their walks from the photos sent - with lots of fussing - and running around the garden. They got on well with James’ two dogs who were very friendly and will have been good company. It felt like a perfect home from home for them. Very pleased and will definitely be booking again.

Padma and her family are truly wonderful, my boy Frost loves going to them are they take such amazing care of him. They keep me updated throughout the day with lovely photos and videos. I have booked with them multiple times and will continue to do so, I know my dog is in brilliant hands :)

Sophie was wondeful and looked after my dog so brilliantly that he was happy and content to be with her. Sophie had Murphy as we had a funeral to attend to and was very flexible and kind in terms of meeting ours and Murphy’s needs. I would thoroughly recommend Sophie as a trusted dog sitter and her home and garden were a treat for Murphy to run free in. Many thanks

Angela was great! Our booking was last minute due to work schedules changing and she was very accommodating. She kept us update throughout the day with cute pictures of Beau playing with her dog and being relaxed at her home. It was a wet day, and she Even put the effort in to clean and dry Beau in the bath after a nice walk. Will definitely be booking again!

Nikoletta provided excellent care for Bowie, giving me peace of mind whilst working nearby. She provided me with updates and photos during the booking, and had excellent communication in the lead up to the booking! Would highly recommend Nikoletta for doggy day care and will certainly be rebooking.

Arthur absolutely loved his stay with Cristina. I was kept updated with photos throughout the day and regular contact before. There are two other dogs who were no issues at all. The house has a lovely garden and plenty of room for the three dogs to run around and play. Highly recommend.

Kylie and her wonderful family were simply amazing. Such a great experience with them, the first of many I hope. Thank you all as Steve has not stopped talking about you all and what a fun evening and felt very welcomed. He’s especially happy that he spend time with 2 terrific young boys which he’d never done before. AND Bandit is now his new best friend. Stevie says wow 🤩

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
