“Izzy had a great time with Becky and I felt she was so well looked after and Becky kept me informed with photos and texts throughout the day which was so appreciated as it was our first experience leaving her with someone. I’m sure she can’t wait to be back again 😌”

“Steven and his partner were great. They made me feel completely at ease from the very start. We sat and had a chat about Paxo and discussed his quirks. Paxo was relaxed from the moment of meeting them and was cuddling up to Steven in seconds. You can tell that Steven is very knowledgeable about looking after dogs and embraced all Paxo's funny behaviours (like being scared of people roller-skating). He gave Paxo a lot of exercise and Paxo fell asleep an hour earlier than normal which is a great sign! Would defo use Steven again.”

About: Besides having our own dog before, me and my wife work part time in a doggy day care, where we meet all types of dogs, some needs more attention than others, some are some scared cause they are rescue dogs, some are aggressive, cause they been attacked before, with all dogs you have to approach with patience cause every dog has their own characteristics and it's important to understand them I work from home, and have very flexible hours, so few hours a day on the laptop then I free all day to spend time with dogs at home or out in the park I live in an apartment with many dog owners, we have a small outdoor space (accces for tenants only) for kids and neighbours dogs go to hang out and mingle
“Roshni was fantastic with the dogs who were really happy with her doggy daycare in her home and became really attached to Roshni. I got photos everyday of happy dogs which showed how they were getting along which I enjoyed receiving and reassured me and my sons that both dogs were well cared for whilst I was away. My older son who collected the dogs everyday was impressed by Roshni’s commitment to the happiness of the dogs and their wellbeing. Can’t praise her highly enough and will certainly book Roshni again in the future.”

About: If you’re looking for a reliable, caring dog walker who can provide regular weekday walks, I’d love to help. I’ve always loved dogs and enjoy nothing more than being outdoors with them. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves long walks or prefers a gentler pace with plenty of sniffing stops, I’ll make sure every walk is suited to their individual needs. I understand that many owners have busy work schedules, so being dependable, punctual and consistent is really important to me. After each walk, I’ll send you an update and photos so you can see how much fun they’ve had. Building long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners is something I really value, and I’d love to become someone your dog looks forward to seeing each week. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend 😊 I currently work part time mostly from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. I walk dogs daily and I have a car for further afield walks and to drop and collect your dog if required. We are a family of 5 with 3 older children that love bring around dogs. I have a fenced in garden and I have a dog myself. I have plenty of space to look after 3 dogs ( including my own) and it’s important to me as it is for you that the dogs are all happy being around each other.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Hounslow
Joanne is great. She was really understanding with our dog, who is often nervous and guarded with strangers. She made him feel comfortable in her home and gave him exactly what he needs. He seemed to really love her by the time we came to pick him up. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Amal was very attentive and kind to my dog!! She asked a lot of questions which shows how much she care about your dog. And she follow your instructions down to the T. She also noticed the heat and make sure my dog’s comfort is the priority! I really appreciate her attention to details and my dog had a great time with her!

Gia had a really good day with Kseniya and Grace Kelly. Kseniya's communication was excellent, she provided update throughout the stay. I would highly recommend Kseniya to everyone who'd need a reliable caring pet sitter. Thank you Kseniya and Grace Kelly!!

We left our 7-month-old chocolate Labrador Truffle with Anyesha today for her first full day of daycare, and we could not be happier with the experience! From the moment we arranged a meet and greet, Anyesha's warmth, genuine love for dogs and professionalism was evident. Today, Truffle was with her from 9 am to 4:45 pm, and Anyesha kept us updated throughout the day with photos and videos, which was incredibly reassuring and so lovely to receive. Truffle bonded beautifully with the other dog in Anyesha's care, a gorgeous Husky, and watching them play together through the updates made our day! Truffle came home exhausted, happy and clearly very well looked after. Anyesha is gentle, caring and attentive. You can tell she treats every dog as her own. We will absolutely be back every Thursday and would recommend Anyesha wholeheartedly to any dog owner looking for someone they can genuinely trust with their beloved pet. Thank you, Anyesha. Truffle had the best day! 🐾🍫

Ann is just such an amazing dog sitter. Both my dogs were so happy to spend the day at Ann’s home, Biggy is very nervous and very obsessed with me so can struggle to settle with other people. He was letting Ann stroke him and settling for naps so quickly which is just testament to Ann’s nature and way with dogs. Would definitely recommend

Nick is a wonderful dog walker! Utah travels so much with him and always happy to see him. He introduce her to other dogs and keeps her engage the whole time. Nick was also kind enough to accommodate Utah when we ran into personal challenge. I highly recommend using Nick’s service!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
