I have a natural love for animals and understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can fully trust. Personally, I have extensive experience as a dog owner. I previously had a German Shepherd & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who lived to 17, and I currently have a five-year-old toy poodle. Professionally, I have worked at Urban Mutts Hotels, where I cared for a wide variety of dogs in both daycare and boarding settings. My experience goes beyond breeds and sizes — I am confident managing different temperaments, energy levels, dietary requirements, and allergies, always prioritising each dog’s comfort and wellbeing. I take the time to understand every dog’s routine, personality, and preferences — whether they need active play, calm companionship, or extra reassurance. My approach is calm, patient, and detail-oriented, ensuring your dog feels secure, happy, and completely at ease while in my care. For added peace of mind, I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout, so you always know your dog is safe, settled, and well looked after. I am currently self- employed and working from home, my diary can be flexible if needed. I am open to last minute bookings, if needed. I have a house with a long, gated garden that your dogs would love to run around in and do some training drills. For longer walks I have a park nearby.

Paxo was relaxed from the moment of meeting them and was cuddling up to Steven in seconds. You can tell that Steven is very knowledgeable about looking after dogs and embraced all Paxo's funny behaviours (like being scared of people roller-skating). He gave Paxo a lot of exercise and Paxo fell asleep an hour earlier than normal which is a great sign! Would defo use Steven again.”

About: Besides having our own dog before, me and my wife work part time in a doggy day care, where we meet all types of dogs, some needs more attention than others, some are some scared cause they are rescue dogs, some are aggressive, cause they been attacked before, with all dogs you have to approach with patience cause every dog has their own characteristics and it's important to understand them I work from home, and have very flexible hours, so few hours a day on the laptop then I free all day to spend time with dogs at home or out in the park I live in an apartment with many dog owners, we have a small outdoor space (accces for tenants only) for kids and neighbours dogs go to hang out and mingle

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I had a number of family dogs growing up, before I adopted my own after graduating - first a Husky and then a German Sheppard. All were rescues, adopted when less than 1 years old and, at times, a mix of breeds, and so I have first hand experience being with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I am a remote worker and so I have a flexible schedule during the working week. On the weekends, my available depends on my volunteer work. I live in a large two bedroom apartment which provides amble room for dogs to play or find a quiet spot to snooze. There are also plenty of parks near me which allows lots of sniffing and running potential. I try to maintain a consistent feeding and walking schedule for my pup but happy to cater to your dogs needs.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was 13 and have looked after dogs from BorrowMyDoggy. I also look after my partner’s family dog - a Labrador - once a month or so. I work from home Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and am available on the weekends too. I can walk dogs on all days, including Mondays and Tuesdays. I have a large fully secure back garden for dogs to play in and a big park nearby for walks. They will be looked after like my own pets.
