About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. From puppies to older aged dogs, specially trained gun dogs, from Labradors, Highland terriers to Jack Russell. Right now, I am fully focused on dog walking as a full time career, and will devote all my time to this for the foreseeable future. Well, if it is a dog, it will be 2 to 3 meals a day, and at least 3 walks, depending on the age and the fitness of the dog.

About: I’ve always loved animals with a passion. I’ve had dogs for almost all of my life, and I absolutely love walking them, spending time with them, caring for them and playing with them. Sadly, since my last dog Luna (a beautiful Belgian Shepherd) passed away in 2019, I have missed having a pet so much. That’s why I decided that I would love to spend my time walking dogs and looking after other people’s pets. I’m energetic, caring and very responsible - and I have an in depth knowledge and vast experience of looking after dogs (and cats) of varying sizes and temperaments. About: Besides having our own dog before, me and my wife work part time in a doggy day care, where we meet all types of dogs, some needs more attention than others, some are some scared cause they are rescue dogs, some are aggressive, cause they been attacked before, with all dogs you have to approach with patience cause every dog has their own characteristics and it's important to understand them I work from home, and have very flexible hours, so few hours a day on the laptop then I free all day to spend time with dogs at home or out in the park I live in an apartment with many dog owners, we have a small outdoor space (accces for tenants only) for kids and neighbours dogs go to hang out and mingle

Paxo was relaxed from the moment of meeting them and was cuddling up to Steven in seconds. You can tell that Steven is very knowledgeable about looking after dogs and embraced all Paxo's funny behaviours (like being scared of people roller-skating). He gave Paxo a lot of exercise and Paxo fell asleep an hour earlier than normal which is a great sign! Would defo use Steven again.”

So for me I would say, safety is the most priority for our pups, only so they can play safely and happily! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about two years, but my love for them started long before that with my own border collie–greyhound mix. Since then, I’ve looked after everything from energetic pups to gentle seniors, as well as my own two dogs — an Italian greyhound and a dachshund. About: I have been around dogs and various animals all my life. Growing up I had a German shepherd who I trained and cared for until she was 10 years old. Now I have a small Boston Terrier called Iggy, he’s the most social dog you’ll ever meet and gets along with anyone and every dog big or small! I love being around dogs and have had years of experience looking after many breeds such as; Corgis, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Japanese Spitz, Cocker Spaniels, Dobermans and Pomeranians. I also have experience looking after different breeds of cats such as British shorthair and Persian cats. Your feline friends will be looked after with the best care! When looking after another dog I believe it's important to make sure they feel comfortable and to be patient with them before looking after any dog I'd like to meet them first with Iggy and let them play in an open space or in my flat to ensure they both feel comfortable together. It's important to let me know if you're dog is reactive. Please reach out to me for any other questions! I currently work from home and only go into the office once or twice a week. My working hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm with an hour lunch so I am flexible on the weekdays and weekends too! About: I’m the proud owner of a beautiful Italian Greyhound named Raphael and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, needs, dispositions and ages. About: From a young age, I’ve had a deep love for animals. Growing up as an only child, I always dreamed of having a companion, and when my parents finally brought home a beautiful Cocker Spaniel, he became my best friend. Caring for him taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy pets bring into our lives. Although he has since passed, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Today, I regularly care for an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, as well as a Siamese mix and a Tabby cat. I have also provided pet sitting through platforms like Pawshake, giving me valuable experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. Joshi works in construction so therefore is rarely home but Ellie and Gabriel as both unemployed and will look after your pet with me. I can walk morning, lunch and dinner HOWEVER There are total 4 of us in the house, with different time schedules where someone is always at home!! I have a fenced garden with no holes (please note the fence is shorter than an average fence, but not so much that your pet could jump over). We live next to many parks, and if your pet is good in the car we can explore the huge Richmond Park that is a 10 minute drive from us. We will provide consistent love and a playful energy.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. From puppies to older aged dogs, specially trained gun dogs, from Labradors, Highland terriers to Jack Russell. Right now, I am fully focused on dog walking as a full time career, and will devote all my time to this for the foreseeable future. Well, if it is a dog, it will be 2 to 3 meals a day, and at least 3 walks, depending on the age and the fitness of the dog.

About: I'm passionate about dogs of all kinds and have been involved with dogs (& cats) one way or another my whole life. I grew up with dogs and learned first-hand the real-life care they need and deserve. Recently I've been involved in rescuing, fostering and dog-sitting in my home for my local community and have enjoyed it so much I decided creating a profile on Rover would be an excellent idea. But even in my 20's I used to dog-sit in clients' homes regularly, sometimes for up to a month at a time. I'm also a volunteer for the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, a new scheme developed by my dog professional colleagues, to help encourage and support responsible dog ownership, which has helped me improve my own understanding dog interaction and ownership. I've also previously worked as a volunteer for a London-based animal rescue which has contributed to my passion for animal welfare. I'm able to adapt to each dogs personality, size and breed, having looked after everything from big unneutered, untrained Huskies & Bouviers, all the way down to active Jack Russels and Scottish Terriers. I take into account each dogs sensitivities, for example, some dogs do not like contact with other dogs while out on a walk, and some need a good 2 hours out in the park, whereas some only need 2 shorter walks a day. Some dogs need stimulation during the day and others just need a good chunk of downtime to decompress. Each dog is different and I accommodate their needs accordingly. The only reason my partner and I do not currently have a dog is that we would prefer to improve our finances before making the commitment to bringing home a dog. My experience in fostering and owning dogs in the past has helped me understand fully what an important decision it is. So helping others care for their beloved hounds is the next best thing! I am a freelance creative who largely works from home, and only rarely has to work on-site. If that is unavoidable, my partner who is also experienced with dogs will be able to be home. However, if I know I'll be caring for a dog at the time I'll prefer to be home for the entire period, and I will try to arrange it that way. In the mornings, I think it's important to immediately let the dog out into the garden. I also think a walk first thing in the morning is ideal for most breeds as the nights can feel long for dogs. I'd follow their usual feeding routine but if they are fed in the morning I'd do that before the walk as usually they like to do their business after a meal! I can walk a dog up to 1,5 hours to 2 hours at a time if they require it. During the day I keep an eye on them and provide a space they can have to themselves to decompress. If they need a bit of stimulation, I can engage in a few games with them in the garden. My partner and I are "home bodies" so I'm usually home for the whole day except for a short outing to the local shop, and in most cases my partner will also be at home working. A late afternoon/early evening walk is also possible if they need it, sometimes this can be a short walk around a couple of blocks in the neighbourhood or further afield depending on the dog. Evenings are usually very quiet and relaxing but the dog is let out into the garden multiple times before securing the house and heading to bed. The dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom on their bed if that is needed or in our living room. And finally, if the dog enjoys affection and human interaction then I have cuddles available by the truckload! I think it's important to follow a routine that feels healthy, comfortable and safe for the dog. Understanding their needs for diet, sleep, interaction and walking is important. In hot weather I would be sure to walk a dog outside of the hottest times of the day especially for dogs with thick coats. I carry a water bottle with me on walks at all times to ensure the dog is properly hyrdated. Before walking your dog for the first time, I'll check with you if they are comfortable around other dogs and people, or if they prefer not to interact at all. Some dogs are nervous of other dogs, and senior dogs often prefer to be left alone, especially by younger dogs. I'm careful to avoid any interaction that may not be comfortable. Giving a dog plenty of time to stretch their legs and also take in the scents and sounds is important and often the best way to keep them relaxed and content for the whole day ahead. Our home has a fenced garden, no other pets and no children so it provides a relaxing environment for any dog. I'd dedicate a space to put their bed which can be theirs for the duration to sleep and decompress.

When I adopted Grace almost 6 years ago, I accidentally acquired a new hobby: researching dogs. What began as a few training classes quickly escalated into books, courses, podcasts and an endless fascination with dog behaviour, enrichment and positive reinforcement. Your dog won’t just be staying in my home. They’ll be joining Grace and me in our everyday life. About: My wife and I love animals and have had our current dog Remi now for 5 years. I have gone through a lot of training with Remi including gun dog training, so I am competent in reinforcing commands and behaviour. I like to make sure dogs are engaged on in my care, in whatever way is best suited to the dog. Some dogs really engage with the ball, others enjoy a some level of training or some enjoy a gentle stroll with a bit of inquisitive sniffing about. There are some great walking spots across this area and I am very happy to help take your lovely dog out for their walk. We have a secure fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some outdoor time when boarding or doggy day care, and they will enjoy a loving home while they are here. I am currently doing freelance work at home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am generally available for dog walks, drop in visits, boarding and doggy day care on weekdays. I will always walk in a park in the local area, and I will make sure we talk about anything specific your dog needs on their walk (on/off lead, commands, treats, walk routine, behaviour around other dogs/people etc) so we are both comfortable with everything. If you are ok with it my dog Remi will join us on the walk, but no problem if you want your dog to have a solo walk.
