Cathy looked after my dog Rio for a week whilst we were at a family wedding in the midlands, I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care she provided. I was kept regularly updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Rio looked so happy & relaxed in all the updates and I know he enjoyed his time with Cathy’s dog Bailey, along with all the other fur friends he met on walks! He had plenty of walks, playtime and cuddles 🥰 I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again! 😊🤎 🐾

Millie seemed very relaxed and happy with her, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that Millie was well cared for and comfortable in her company. This was my first time leaving my baby fur with someone else, so i was really nervous, but honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mo and his wife took such good care of my dog and kept me updated the whole time, which really put my mind at ease. My baby came back calm and happy and clearly she was well looked after. I can tell that they genuinely care about dogs and treat them like their own. I'd definitely trust them àgain and highly recommend Mo and his wfie.

Our Golden Retriever had a wonderful 3-day stay with Tamyn and her family. We had a pre-booking visit which gave us so much confidence that Merlin would be well looked after and we were able to explain about his separation anxiety, noise phobia and hip dysplasia. They have a lovely home and garden and a park across the road with river access - perfect for Merlin who loves to paddle. We received lots of pictures and videos during our trip away and could see he was having the best time, which meant we could too! We highly recommend Tamyn and her family and hope to book Merlin in for another fun holiday with them soon. This was our first time using Rover.com and it was a very straightforward process.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. From puppies to older aged dogs, specially trained gun dogs, from Labradors, Highland terriers to Jack Russell. Right now, I am fully focused on dog walking as a full time career, and will devote all my time to this for the foreseeable future. Well, if it is a dog, it will be 2 to 3 meals a day, and at least 3 walks, depending on the age and the fitness of the dog.

About: As a lifelong cat lover, I’ve become the go-to “neighborhood cat connoisseur.” My own cat keeps me on my toes, but it doesn’t stop there—cats from all over seem to gather in my garden, knowing they’ll find a friendly face and a safe space. Over the years, I’ve taken care of countless cats for friends and family, ensuring they’re well-fed, entertained, and, most importantly, loved. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just respecting their independent nature, I understand what makes cats tick and how to keep them happy and comfortable.

About: I’ve always loved animals with a passion. I’ve had dogs for almost all of my life, and I absolutely love walking them, spending time with them, caring for them and playing with them. Sadly, since my last dog Luna (a beautiful Belgian Shepherd) passed away in 2019, I have missed having a pet so much. That’s why I decided that I would love to spend my time walking dogs and looking after other people’s pets. I’m energetic, caring and very responsible - and I have an in depth knowledge and vast experience of looking after dogs (and cats) of varying sizes and temperaments. I’ve been walking and sitting dogs on Rover over the last 6 years and am really enjoying meeting and getting to know some really lovely pets. 😊 So if your pooch needs a walk or your cat needs someone to drop in and care for them for a while, I might just be the person you need! 😊 I’d love to hear from you, so feel free to get in touch. 🐾 I work in the NHS in a mental health team from Tuesday to Friday, so Saturday to Monday are the times that I am mostly available during the week. I don’t look after pets in my home at present due to having a cat currently, however when sitting in your home I’ll make sure the pets are supervised, safe and secure.

Steven and his partner were great. They made me feel completely at ease from the very start. We sat and had a chat about Paxo and discussed his quirks. Paxo was relaxed from the moment of meeting them and was cuddling up to Steven in seconds. You can tell that Steven is very knowledgeable about looking after dogs and embraced all Paxo's funny behaviours (like being scared of people roller-skating). He gave Paxo a lot of exercise and Paxo fell asleep an hour earlier than normal which is a great sign! Would defo use Steven again.

Roshni was fantastic with the dogs who were really happy with her doggy daycare in her home and became really attached to Roshni. I got photos everyday of happy dogs which showed how they were getting along which I enjoyed receiving and reassured me and my sons that both dogs were well cared for whilst I was away. My older son who collected the dogs everyday was impressed by Roshni’s commitment to the happiness of the dogs and their wellbeing. About: I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where your dog will be genuinely cared for, comforted, and treated like family. I have a natural love for animals and understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can fully trust. Personally, I have extensive experience as a dog owner. I previously had a German Shepherd & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who lived to 17, and I currently have a five-year-old toy poodle. Professionally, I have worked at Urban Mutts Hotels, where I cared for a wide variety of dogs in both daycare and boarding settings. My experience goes beyond breeds and sizes — I am confident managing different temperaments, energy levels, dietary requirements, and allergies, always prioritising each dog’s comfort and wellbeing. I take the time to understand every dog’s routine, personality, and preferences — whether they need active play, calm companionship, or extra reassurance. My approach is calm, patient, and detail-oriented, ensuring your dog feels secure, happy, and completely at ease while in my care. For added peace of mind, I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout, so you always know your dog is safe, settled, and well looked after. I am currently self- employed and working from home, my diary can be flexible if needed. I am open to last minute bookings, if needed. I have a house with a long, gated garden that your dogs would love to run around in and do some training drills. For longer walks I have a park nearby.

About: I grow up with a dog, and for sure love dog so much. What set me apart from others? I would say as a small mini breed size dog, she had trained me to be more aware on surrounding. So for me I would say, safety is the most priority for our pups, only so they can play safely and happily! I am a full time trader, and I am looking for a part time job that can accompany me and also benefits to our lovely doggy’s. More importantly - NEAR HEATHROW AIRPORT As my working hour is short, and need to get out office and go for a walk, meanwhile I am able to bring along your doggy to get out and smell the grass and play! Have a fenced yard. And also no sharp things/food scraps or any thing that will harm. For sure, I have a toy poodle, and this make me always check around the ground is there any thing our fur baby can explore or harmful!

Freddie is sooo happy here. Not only that- I am always a happy dog mom! Deniz and her family are so kind to Freddie and always go the extra mile. When Freddie wasn’t eating, Deniz even encouraged him but sitting with him and taking time out of her day to inform me and mixing it up/using a spoon/ different bowl - he ate and was a happy boy (he was just being fussy with new food I bought him!). I even left Freddie with them when I went on holiday and he was truly spoilt and I could fully relax knowing he was (and always is) taken care of xx

About: I’ve been around dogs for over 15 years and honestly, I just really love being with them. I’m especially drawn to older dogs—they have such gentle personalities, and I really enjoy giving them the extra patience, comfort, and care they need. I’m very comfortable handling medications, including injections and oral meds, so if your dog has any medical needs, you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, especially when they’re older or need a bit more attention. I keep things calm, consistent, and tailored to each dog’s routine so they feel as at home and stress-free as possible. I don’t take on puppies, but if you have an adult or senior dog who needs a caring and reliable sitter, I’d love to help 😊 I’m home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I keep a calm, relaxed routine and can easily adapt to your dog’s usual schedule, whether that’s walks, feeding times, or just lots of cuddles and companionship. Your dog’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time . I always take introductions slowly to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I’m also experienced with crates if your dog uses one, and I stick closely to their normal routine to help them feel settled. I’m confident giving oral medications and injections if needed, and I always make sure each dog gets the care and attention they deserve in a calm, loving environment.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about two years, but my love for them started long before that with my own border collie–greyhound mix. Since then, I’ve looked after everything from energetic pups to gentle seniors, as well as my own two dogs — an Italian greyhound and a dachshund. I’ll make sure every pup gets plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and even some silly “baby voice” chats — treating them like family, because that’s exactly what they are to me. I have a completely open schedules right now, which means I have plenty of time to give your pup lots of walks, playtime, and of course, cuddles. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and playtime in a spacious podium garden. While it’s a shared space with other residents, there are several secure locks and gates to keep things safe and calm. I always take the dogs out when it’s just us, so they can explore and relax without any stress or distractions.

About: I have been around dogs and various animals all my life. Growing up I had a German shepherd who I trained and cared for until she was 10 years old. Now I have a small Boston Terrier called Iggy, he’s the most social dog you’ll ever meet and gets along with anyone and every dog big or small! I love being around dogs and have had years of experience looking after many breeds such as; Corgis, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Japanese Spitz, Cocker Spaniels, Dobermans and Pomeranians. I also have experience looking after different breeds of cats such as British shorthair and Persian cats. Your feline friends will be looked after with the best care! When looking after another dog I believe it's important to make sure they feel comfortable and to be patient with them before looking after any dog I'd like to meet them first with Iggy and let them play in an open space or in my flat to ensure they both feel comfortable together. It's important to let me know if you're dog is reactive. Please reach out to me for any other questions! I currently work from home and only go into the office once or twice a week. My working hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm with an hour lunch so I am flexible on the weekdays and weekends too! I live in a flat which is gated off from the main road it is a pet-friendly building with lots of outside space and a 5-minute walk from Lampton park.

About: I’m the proud owner of a beautiful Italian Greyhound named Raphael and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, needs, dispositions and ages. My passion for dogs has spanned decades: as a teenager, I volunteered for the RSPCA and The Cinnamon Trust and as an adult have volunteered at Animal Rescue Kerala and Karma Animal Trust in India and Pound Dogs for Adoption in Cyprus. I’m a teacher who works remotely and in my spare time, I would be more than happy to help out with feeding, walking and/or sitting. As a remote teacher, I have plenty of time to make new four-legged friends! I enjoy keeping busy and getting out and about with my own dog, so this lifestyle suits me perfectly. I live in a first-floor flat with my doggo and we go for at least two long walks a day. There are green spaces at the front and back for toilet breaks.

About: I don't own any pets (officially) at the moment, however, from past 7 years, I have been taking care of multiple family dogs at a time as their parents (my brother and his wife) travel a lot for months across the globe hence I am there god mother. I absolutely love making amazing happy memories with Cookie (a cross between Jack Russell and Yorkshire) and Cocoa (toy poodle). I have a set routine when they stay with me. In a day, I go for 3/4 times long walks across the house which is a dog friendly park. There we meet a lot of dogs of different size, breed, age, behaviour and play a lot !!! I leave them off the leash. I feed them twice a day which consists of boiled eggs in the morning and dog food in the evening. I love bathing them both either twice a month. they sleep with me in the same bed as they are really cuddled and pampered a lot. I live with my husband and I do not have children. Hence I have a lot of time in hand to give quality attention to the dogs I will take care. As I have taken break from my work, I am very flexible and available 7 days a week to provide my best service as I absolutely love dogs and cats. I do not have children and hence I can divert my quality time to the dogs. I am flexible and available 7 days a week to provide my best service. I would love to take care of your dogs as mine :):) I have fenced large garden area.I am home with the dogs alwasy to keep them company. if any dog has walking issue then I block the stairs off to keep them from going up.

About: From a young age, I’ve had a deep love for animals. Growing up as an only child, I always dreamed of having a companion, and when my parents finally brought home a beautiful Cocker Spaniel, he became my best friend. Caring for him taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy pets bring into our lives. Although he has since passed, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Today, I regularly care for an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, as well as a Siamese mix and a Tabby cat. I have also provided pet sitting through platforms like Pawshake, giving me valuable experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply keeping your furry friend company, I will ensure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. We live as our friend made family of 4. Me, Ellie, Gabriel and Joshi. Joshi works in construction so therefore is rarely home but Ellie and Gabriel as both unemployed and will look after your pet with me. I have uploaded photos of them too so you can familiarise yourself! I work full time, though 2-3 days at home a week. I can walk morning, lunch and dinner HOWEVER There are total 4 of us in the house, with different time schedules where someone is always at home!! I have a fenced garden with no holes (please note the fence is shorter than an average fence, but not so much that your pet could jump over). We live next to many parks, and if your pet is good in the car we can explore the huge Richmond Park that is a 10 minute drive from us. We will provide consistent love and a playful energy.

About: I'm passionate about dogs of all kinds and have been involved with dogs (& cats) one way or another my whole life. I grew up with dogs and learned first-hand the real-life care they need and deserve. Recently I've been involved in rescuing, fostering and dog-sitting in my home for my local community and have enjoyed it so much I decided creating a profile on Rover would be an excellent idea. But even in my 20's I used to dog-sit in clients' homes regularly, sometimes for up to a month at a time. I'm also a volunteer for the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, a new scheme developed by my dog professional colleagues, to help encourage and support responsible dog ownership, which has helped me improve my own understanding dog interaction and ownership. I've also previously worked as a volunteer for a London-based animal rescue which has contributed to my passion for animal welfare. I'm able to adapt to each dogs personality, size and breed, having looked after everything from big unneutered, untrained Huskies & Bouviers, all the way down to active Jack Russels and Scottish Terriers. I take into account each dogs sensitivities, for example, some dogs do not like contact with other dogs while out on a walk, and some need a good 2 hours out in the park, whereas some only need 2 shorter walks a day. Some dogs need stimulation during the day and others just need a good chunk of downtime to decompress. Each dog is different and I accommodate their needs accordingly. The only reason my partner and I do not currently have a dog is that we would prefer to improve our finances before making the commitment to bringing home a dog. My experience in fostering and owning dogs in the past has helped me understand fully what an important decision it is. So helping others care for their beloved hounds is the next best thing! I am a freelance creative who largely works from home, and only rarely has to work on-site. If that is unavoidable, my partner who is also experienced with dogs will be able to be home. However, if I know I'll be caring for a dog at the time I'll prefer to be home for the entire period, and I will try to arrange it that way. In the mornings, I think it's important to immediately let the dog out into the garden. I also think a walk first thing in the morning is ideal for most breeds as the nights can feel long for dogs. I'd follow their usual feeding routine but if they are fed in the morning I'd do that before the walk as usually they like to do their business after a meal! I can walk a dog up to 1,5 hours to 2 hours at a time if they require it. During the day I keep an eye on them and provide a space they can have to themselves to decompress. If they need a bit of stimulation, I can engage in a few games with them in the garden. My partner and I are "home bodies" so I'm usually home for the whole day except for a short outing to the local shop, and in most cases my partner will also be at home working. A late afternoon/early evening walk is also possible if they need it, sometimes this can be a short walk around a couple of blocks in the neighbourhood or further afield depending on the dog. Evenings are usually very quiet and relaxing but the dog is let out into the garden multiple times before securing the house and heading to bed. The dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom on their bed if that is needed or in our living room. And finally, if the dog enjoys affection and human interaction then I have cuddles available by the truckload! I think it's important to follow a routine that feels healthy, comfortable and safe for the dog. Understanding their needs for diet, sleep, interaction and walking is important. In hot weather I would be sure to walk a dog outside of the hottest times of the day especially for dogs with thick coats. I carry a water bottle with me on walks at all times to ensure the dog is properly hyrdated. Before walking your dog for the first time, I'll check with you if they are comfortable around other dogs and people, or if they prefer not to interact at all. Some dogs are nervous of other dogs, and senior dogs often prefer to be left alone, especially by younger dogs. I'm careful to avoid any interaction that may not be comfortable. Giving a dog plenty of time to stretch their legs and also take in the scents and sounds is important and often the best way to keep them relaxed and content for the whole day ahead. Our home has a fenced garden, no other pets and no children so it provides a relaxing environment for any dog. I'd dedicate a space to put their bed which can be theirs for the duration to sleep and decompress.

We are so grateful to find Padma and the family to look after our baby 🐻 bear Appa during our Xmas break. They did take such a good care of Appa sending us daily updates and videos. They are very considerate about her health and well being- daily snacks and walks. They are so lovely and definitely love animals so much. We will definitely leave our baby again to their care. Thanks so much for all the support.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both puppies and senior pets. I’ve looked after a Toy Poodle from 3 months old, handling everything from potty training to daily exercise, playtime, and feeding routines. I’m also familiar with the needs of older pets -when I lived at home with my family, I helped care for our 17-year-old Cat, which taught me the importance of gentle, patient, and attentive care. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable around both dogs and cats. I can follow specific care instructions closely to make sure your pet stays happy, safe, and comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are important to me, and I always aim to provide a calm, loving environment for every pet. I understand that being away from home can feel stressful for pets, so I make it my priority to give them plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance until you return. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I have hands-on experience with both puppies and senior pets - I helped raise a Toy Poodle from 3 months old, from potty training to daily walks, playtime, and feeding routines. When I lived at home with my family, I also helped care for our 17-year-old Cat, which taught me how important patience, gentleness, and understanding are, especially with older pets. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and settled while you’re away. I understand how hard it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll always care for them as if they were my own and keep you updated for peace of mind. Ideally I’d always say first time sitting or boarding it would be good to meet before hand. I am pretty flexible and work from home 2 times a week & free in weekends. I am also free everyday 6am - 9am then free from 4pm - all evening. I live in a flat no garden and all animals if I take them for a walk will be transported in my car to a nice park.

About: Hi! I’m Elsa, based near Twickenham Green, and I share my cosy cottage home with my adorable standard wire-haired Dachshund, Albie. I work from home during the week, so dogs in my care get plenty of company, attention, and a calm environment throughout the day. We have a secure fenced outdoor space, plus a lovely daily routine that includes an hour-long morning walk in the park, regular toilet breaks, and another 30-minute walk in the evening. I’m offering boarding, dog sitting, and weekday walks for busy dog parents looking for a safe, loving, and homely environment for their pup while they’re at work or away. Dogs are genuinely at the centre of my life, and I know how important it is to leave them somewhere you trust completely. Albie is incredibly friendly, calm, and well-socialised with other dogs, and he gets along beautifully with everyone. Our home is peaceful and relaxed, with lots of affection, attention, and cosy downtime available. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own! My services are only suited to dogs who are comfortable around other dogs. Pet care is already a huge part of my daily routine thanks to my Dachshund, Albie. I work from home during the week, so dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day. Our routine includes an hour-long morning walk in the park, regular toilet breaks during the day, and another evening walk after work, along with lots of play, cuddles, and relaxation time at home. I live in a calm cottage with secure outdoor space, so visiting dogs can settle into a peaceful, homely environment. I genuinely love having dogs around and naturally build my day around making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’ve been using Rover for Grace Kelly, my rescue dog, since 2022, so I know exactly how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. When I adopted Grace almost 6 years ago, I accidentally acquired a new hobby: researching dogs. What began as a few training classes quickly escalated into books, courses, podcasts and an endless fascination with dog behaviour, enrichment and positive reinforcement. Your dog won’t just be staying in my home. They’ll be joining Grace and me in our everyday life. We love exploring new walking routes, visiting Bushy Park, discovering dog-friendly pubs and cafés, and finding new places to sniff and investigate. I firmly believe that a happy dog is a dog whose mind is as exercised as their legs, so I like to make every day a little different. Whether your dog is an adventurer, a social butterfly or a professional sofa enthusiast, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved and at home from the moment they arrive. I split my time between home and the office, but I have the flexibility to work from home whenever needed. The only regular time I’m out of the house is my Saturday morning volunteering shift at a local charity shop. It’s about three hours and then I’m straight back. Your dog will stay in a secure ground-floor flat with a fully fenced private garden and plenty of space to relax, play and explore. Dogs are welcome on the sofa, welcome on the bed and generally encouraged to make themselves at home. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay, so you can see what they’ve been up to and relax knowing they’re having a great time. I also require a meet and greet before accepting a booking (boarding only). It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, for the dogs to meet and to make sure we’re the right fit for one another.

About: My wife and I love animals and have had our current dog Remi now for 5 years. I have gone through a lot of training with Remi including gun dog training, so I am competent in reinforcing commands and behaviour. I like to make sure dogs are engaged on in my care, in whatever way is best suited to the dog. Some dogs really engage with the ball, others enjoy a some level of training or some enjoy a gentle stroll with a bit of inquisitive sniffing about. There are some great walking spots across this area and I am very happy to help take your lovely dog out for their walk. We have a secure fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some outdoor time when boarding or doggy day care, and they will enjoy a loving home while they are here. I am currently doing freelance work at home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am generally available for dog walks, drop in visits, boarding and doggy day care on weekdays. I will always walk in a park in the local area, and I will make sure we talk about anything specific your dog needs on their walk (on/off lead, commands, treats, walk routine, behaviour around other dogs/people etc) so we are both comfortable with everything. If you are ok with it my dog Remi will join us on the walk, but no problem if you want your dog to have a solo walk.

Natasha was so lovely with Bertie. He’s an elderly gentleman and has medical needs which she wasn’t fazed over at all. I loved the fact she sent us lots of pictures and updates to show how he was doing. I’ll definitely be using her again.

5 star review. Emma was an absolute star and I felt absolute confidence and trust leaving Scooby with her for 9 days. Professional, organised, caring, responsive- all the attributes I had hoped for. Scooby seemed so happy with her and I did not worry about him at all while he was with her. Thank you Emma. So glad he was good for you- we would love it if you could look after him again in October for us.

Nicola was so amazing from start to and end of looking after our Kobe boy. 💫Our fluffy boy stayed with Nicola for 5 days whilst my partner and I were away on holiday and we felt so relaxed as we knew he was in the best care! 💖 Nicola was updating us every day with photos and videos of Kobe from morning to the evening of him being on the walks and at home, and we felt so at ease knowing he was having the best time! 🐶 Nicola took a great care of our goldnen retriever and he honestly had the best time! 🥰 We most definitely will use Nicola again! I highly recommend leaving your pets with Nicola. 💕
