“Marina was an excellent sitter. We met in a local park close to where he would be staying before first so he could have a good sniff around before his daycare. Benji settled in well. Marina provided lots of feedback and photo updates throughout the day, was very communicative and approachable. Would definitely use again 🐶 thank you!”

“Rahim and Carly helped me out with a rather last minute doggy day care request for Willow. Rahim was really responsive and accommodating. He and Carly clearly have an affection for dogs and settled Willow into their home when she was a bit nervous to begin with. They kept me up to date with photos and messages about their day which was reassuring for me. By the end of the day willow and Thea were best buds. I will definitely be using Rahim and Carly again. Thank you both (and Thea) so much”

“Really happy with the day care experience. It was a last minute booking due to a work crisis but very quick reply and support which really put my mind at rest. Oscar had a great time and I was sent some lovely photos throughout the day. Will definately look to use again.”

About: Along with caring for friends’ and family dogs, I had my own dog for 16½ wonderful years, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages and personalities, including senior care. I provide loving one-on-one attention, walks, playtime, and a calm home environment where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I live in a spacious house with a secure, pleasant garden where dogs have plenty of room to run, play, and relax. Morden Hall Park is just across the street, so daily walks and outdoor time are always part of the routine. Dogs staying with me have access to comfortable beds, toys, fresh bottled water, treats, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day. When I go to my office, which is based in the same area, dogs are welcome to come with me, where they also have a cozy space with beds, toys, water, and company. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and included at all times. For senior dogs and dogs who don't like long walks, pram is available for their comfort, so they can still enjoy plenty of outdoor time. I provide a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment for dogs staying with me. There are currently no children or other pets in the house, which allows me to give each dog plenty of individual attention and supervision. I only board one or a maximum of two dogs at a time and only accept small to medium-sized friendly breeds to ensure a relaxed and stress-free environment for everyone. Dogs are supervised at all times and are never left alone for long periods. My home has a secure garden for safe outdoor play, and Morden Hall Park is just across the street for regular walks and exercise. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, routines, and any special care needs to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and at home.
About: Hi, we are Rachel and Callum - friendly, reliable, and trustworthy dog owners, who are excited to look after your furry best friend too. We both work from home most of the time so have good week day availability, as well as some weekends. We have had our own dog for 2+ years, and Callum has grown up with dogs his whole life - big and small! We have also looked after our own friends and families dogs for years before getting our own. We work from home so have a flexible schedule to make sure your dog gets the walks, care and attention that they need every day that they're with us. We live in a house with plenty of indoor space for the dogs to play, and have a secure fenced garden for your dog to run around and have a lovely holiday while you're away at work or on a trip of your own. We also live near a big park that our own miniature schnauzer loves to visit. Your dog is welcome to go where they like, and sleep where they like. Our house is their house while they're staying with us!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I owned a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for 12 years and have also cared for Labradors and Staffies with full responsibility for their daily care, walks, feeding, and companionship. Alongside this, I work as a midwife, so being caring, patient, reliable, and attentive comes naturally to me. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll always make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I’m happy to keep owners updated with messages and photos for extra peace of mind. I’m available all weekends with an extra day in the week off to spend with your fur baby. I live with my partner who also then works from home 3 days a week therefore covering most weekdays and weekends. We have a 2 bedroom flat with a very large fenced terrace, the length of the whole apartment. Your dog will be free to spend their time however they please and will be with us wherever we are.

“We have left Rocky with Aleksandra a few times over the past few weeks. Rocky loves it, you can tell he feels really at home and is really calm and happy when we pick him up (he’s a very anxious boy usually). Can’t reccomend enough! Has been an absolute game changer to have someone we trust, who is also super flexible around work plans changing etc. thank you!!”
“Nova had the best time with Sebastian and Nina! With loads of photos and text updates throughout the day, it was great to know that she was enjoying herself. Thank-you so much for being so accommodating and communicative; couldn't recommend more highly.”

“Thanks so much for Alexei and Lin for looking after our boy while we're at work 🥰 we can tell he had a lovely time and were happy to receive pictures and updates through the day.”

About: Hello! I’m a remote worker with a flexible schedule and a deep love for dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a teenager - whether it was my family’s, neighbour’s or friend’s dog. I took care of senior dogs as well as young ones (even newborn puppies). I have a dog myself - he is a pretty reactive and introverted dog who requires lots of attention, therefore I can also take care of introverted dogs. My dog required lots of work with behaviourists and I was very often present during those meetings, therefore I know how to approach various dogs. I was recently taking care of my sister’s puppy who I taught how to go down the stairs - a pretty big achievement. I enjoy being surrounded by dogs and I take great care of them, ensuring they have fun and the activity they need. I am currently working a flexible part-time job which is remote, therefore I spend a lot of time at home and take breaks where I go for walks. I live in a flat with the right amount of space for a dog - my sister lived in it with her dog previously. We have a garden to which we have an access to therefore whenever there is a need for a little emergency loo break, there is space for dogs. I also live in a green area, so there is a walking distance to many different parks.

I hope to give your furry friend the best care possible! 🥰 I am always available to send you plenty of pictures and updates when your dog is with me to keep your mind at ease. 🐾 I am currently off work meaning that I have plenty you of time to play with your dog and will always be available whether it is a weekday or a weekend as per my availability 😊🐾 I have a spacious fenced garden and a non-smoking house where your dog will be accompanied by my small maltipoo and will never be left alone. I can provide toilet breaks whenever needed and snacks as always! I am happy to take your furry friend out for a walk or if time allows, to parks as well! 🤗🐾
“Sophia was amazing! First time to book a day care service with her. And we were so delighted that Loki looked so happy, no doubt he had a lovely day. Thanks for picking up and dropping off Loki! Sophia was so kind, she kept us updated with photos and video and constantly messaging about Loki’s activities. I highly recommend her and will avail for her service if we need to book again.”

About: 🆕 CPD Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR (4 July 2026) 🆕 🏡 Please note that we will be moving into a flat from 5th August 2026. Hi I’m Cheyenne, a 29 year old Executive Assistant working hybrid between home and the city. Animals have the corg-key to my heart and I’m looking to welcome some furry friends into the home I share with my boyfriend, Tyler. I have ample pet care experience, having owned cats from a young age and looked after dogs from my teens. While we cannot currently welcome our own fur baby to the family, we are passionate animal lovers who enjoy long walks, cuddles, and play time. You can rest assured that your little one will be in capable hands with the utmost care and attention while with us. We have a spacious balcony and there are many parks in the surrounding area for exploring. I look forward to meeting with you soon. 🐈⬛☀️💛 🐕 I work full time and the location is flexible so I am available for boarding, visits, or walks during the week and weekends. Similarly, my lunch break is flexible for any walking needs, and I am on-hand throughout the day for bathroom breaks. We do not allow dogs on our bed - thank you in advance for your understanding. I have a securely fenced garden at the back of the house and a gated entrance at the front. There will be no other pets in the house. When visiting any pet owner’s homes, I am tidy, respectful, and safety conscious at all times.
About: I have previously owned a German Shepherd Vizsla in New Zealand. I work from home full time so can help keep dogs company with ease. There is a large large park up the road from me which makes for a good lunch time walk or to throw the ball depending on their recall. Happy to discuss your needs. I currently work full time from home. I take a run in the morning before work, short walks at lunch to get my steps up and in the evenings also. happy to have the dogo company at short notice, 7 days a week when we have no plans. I enjoy the company of dogs, and after losing my old mate in New Zealand I thought this might bring back some laughs for me and the family. I do have a fenced small yard, it's not big enough to play in but it is outside. If I'm looking after them in your home, I'd just follow the rules you set, I'n my home I'd take them for a walk or run ro tire them out in the morning and the same in the evening. Easy.

We were really happy with Benjamin looking after our dog again. He made sure he got plenty of exercise and took him out for walks, and we loved receiving photos and updates during the day. Our dog came home happy and relaxed, so we knew he’d had a lovely time. Benjamin was great and we’d happily recommend him!

Jack and Lauren are great, super responsive and reliable. We have a frenchie who can be very selective with who he warms to however he bonded with Jack straight away. Jack came to walk Eli for a meet and greet and then also looked after him for day. Eli came back a very happy dog. Would recommend these guys!

Keshav, our Golden Retriever, had a wonderful stay with Christian. He enjoyed a well-balanced day with plenty of rest and enjoyable walks. Communication throughout his stay was excellent, and Christian kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Keshav with Christian again and would happily recommend him to other dog owners.

Mifan stayed with Jess while we were playing matches in a tennis tournament at the very close AELTC Community Centre. Mifan loved her days spent with Jess, as we could tell from her excitement when returning to Jess's house the next days. Jess was so accommodating to our changing schedule of drop off and pick up times. We will certainly see if Jess is available again if we are back down in London.

Great dogsitting service from Fran - we will definitely use her again. She is clearly passionate about dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Fran offered to meet beforehand to help our dog be familiar. Communication was really good: she provided regular updates and was very responsive during the booking process.

Olivia looked after Stan for the day in her home. Good communications, and showed genuine care. Stan seemed very happy to be in Olivia’s care. And took him for walks and bad surf he was comfortable in the heatwave. Recommended to other dog owners. Thank you Olivia

Cydney looked after our two 13 week old puppies Barney & Simba as we had a family bbq and I was worried keeping the pups at home with so many people there! Cyd was amazing. I was so nervous letting my precious new babies out of my sight for the first time but they had a fantastic day with Cyd & her family. Both boys came home so tired from a fun filled day of playing and went straight to sleep. I will definitely be using Cydney for all future doggy daycare dates going forward! Thanks for the best day - Love Barney & Simba xxx

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
