About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, taking care of both as a child. I currently own a 7-year-old, rescued dog that I care for full-time. I notice that I have recently received a review which may make you doubt my services, but I’m happy to clear things up with you as it is not representative of the situation! I am currently unemployed as I’ve only just moved back to the area from Manchester! I’m currently recovering from a traumatic life event and would love to get some familiarity back. I have plenty of time to fit in pet care - boarding, walks, and pop-in visits. I love pets so would love to help out! I’m happy to keep your fur baby company whilst also making sure they are well-behaved hahaha. I have experience with both senior and disabled dogs, and can administer medication to cats and dogs. I can walk them, feed them, bath them, comfort them, let them outside, etc. I do love cats too by the way, I just don’t have any pictures as I had mine when I was younger!

About: had dogs all my life from all walks of life from German shepherds to jack Russels always looked after friends and neighbours dogs and plants and willing to go the extra mile if need be I'm semi retired and have all the time in the world to care for your fur baby,house, or plants, whatever you need I'm your go to person I have a safe secure garden, also a huge dog friendly park 2 mins away, I do 3 to 4 small walks a day averaging 20 mins a time in hot weather and 30 mins in colder weather water is always readily available with ice added into water bowl on extra hot days

About: Hi I'm Sarah, and I'm a very calm reiki practitioner and animal communicator with gentle energy, who's grown up with a love for dogs and small animals. As an adult I've continued to enjoy having dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils and birds as part of my family and I currently live with bearded dragon Hercules and leopard gecko Sophie. As well as my own and family pets, I've been looking after my client's dogs for 5 years, offering walks, home care visits, and overnight sitting at their homes. The dogs enjoy cuddles, home comforts and their usual routine, whilst the owners enjoy peace of mind knowing that their pets are having a fun time too. Recently I was blessed with caring for my own senior dog with a terminal illness, so I'm experienced and very happy to care for senior, post surgery, less able and terminally ill pets, who may need some extra time and tlc. I enjoy animals of any size, but prefer to walk dogs on-lead until I feel confident that they know me well enough for good recall, and that I can keep them totally safe. I am DBS checked, mature, experienced and have recently completed a certificated course on understanding and supporting brachycephalic (short faced) dog breeds and am renewing my canine first aid in November 2026. I currently enjoy offering animal care and childcare as and when needed. My availability is very flexible, daytime, evenings, weekends and overnight, and I can be booked in advance or short notice if required. I love caring for pets in their own home, so that they can relax and enjoy their usual home comforts and routine walks when you can't be there yourself. Having also had the personal experience of caring for my elderly dog through terminal illness, I realised how important it was to have someone trusted alongside when I needed to go out, and I would love to offer that same care and peace of mind to others, during that precious time. I can prepare their meals, groom, give oral and topical medication, enjoy walks, playtime and lots of cuddles (if tolerated) and will adjust my level of interaction to suit each pet's needs and personality

“Dorothea dog-sat at ours for 4 nights and was here the whole time, unlike some 'sitters' who go out to work or don't sleep over. She was marvelous with our 2 demanding mini-dachshunds. They fell for her within minutes, despite normally being very suspicious of strangers. Dorothea was highly responsive, accommodating and flexible with us and our dogs, as well as being a lovely person with an interesting background. She went out of her way to be super-helpful when she was here and left our house clean and tidy when she left. Full clean drivers licence for 12 years so you can be rest assured your dog will be transported to and from walks safely. Genuine animal lover and can be flexible to your needs. I currently offer dog walking and pet care full time so I can be flexible to suit your needs and be available to provide your pet with excellent care and comfort. Drop in visits to tend to your pet will include toilet breaks, cleaning up any mess (made by the pet however can arrange household cleans on request), feeding, fresh water bowl, playtime / cuddles and giving the pet any medication if needed. Your dog’s safety is my top priority so I will ensure all walks are full of stimulation but safe. Dog walking & drop in visits will be covering Ashford and surrounding boroughs up to around 10 miles. Happy to care for dogs, cats and other domestic pets. Highly experienced grooming my own dog so can arrange basic grooming for your pet dog too. Boarding and doggy day care in my home will be filled with fun and lots of love throughout the day, my chihuahua has plenty of toys and treats she would be happy to share or you can bring your own! Due to some dogs having specific dietary needs it is recommend you provide your own dog food however I always have some so if you forget it’s not a problem however please let me know any dislikes / allergies before the booking. Boarding and doggy day care includes a nice walk around a local park everyday, however if your dog is a nervous walker please let me know and they can stay at home and chill out!
