Ever since I was a wide-eyed 9-year-old, my heart has been devoted to our four-legged friends. From the joy of training dogs on leads to mastering the art of sit, stand, and paw commands, my journey with dogs has been a lifelong adventure. Assisting my cousin's Doberman protection service wasn't just a task; it was a testament to my unwavering dedication to the well-being of our canine companions. And on weekends, you might find me at the Wimbledon shelters, strolling retired Greyhounds, because every dog, regardless of age or breed, deserves love, care, and a happy wagging tail. Your furry friends won't just be in good hands; they'll be in the hands of someone who genuinely adores them.

Our Rodney had a fab time with Gov yesterday and even made a new 4 legged friend. Rodney is now quite an old dog and his behaviour has settled down. He is now a lot calmer and he remembered Gov from his previous visits. Rodney always enjoys his visits and would happily book him in with Gov again. Thank you for taking care of him for us.
Govind was great and looked after Tofu for the day. We met before to introduce Tofu to him. Highly recommended!
Looked after my highly energetic 18 month old belgian malinois, and had no issues, max was clearly looked after and well trained while we were away, kept regular updates on him

Our furbaby has been with Govind more than once now and we are are so happy to have made the connection. Govind was very flexible with respect to agreeing time for pickup and drop off. The first instance when we booked with Govind it was on short notice after being turned down last minute by another sitter and Govind made time for meet and greet and understand Finnagens needs. We have candid conversations about how long to walk, his nutrition requirements , activity etc and it’s very assuring to meet someone on Rover who is genuinely interested in your pets wellbeing as much is you are.
We were delighted with our Rover service. Rodney was very well looked after and we received updates during the day. We were in the area to attend our granddaughter's christening and we simply could not have attended without leaving Rodney with Gov. Thank you so much and we will definitely use the service again.

A typical day
I work from home in a sales role, which gives me the flexibility to be present and attentive with the pets I look after. I usually start the day with a morning walk, and I like to fit in two more throughout the day—aiming for 10,000 steps—so dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise. When I’m not on work calls or at the gym for about an hour, I’m home and available to keep the pets company. I love spending time playing with them, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just giving them attention and cuddles. I also tailor activities based on the dog’s personality—some love high-energy play, while others prefer calm companionship and treats. My goal is always to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away.
