Lindsey is so lovely and clearly a dog lover. She was so kind and patient with our very nervous young dog and great with communication too. She took Toby for a long walk and has a great home set-up with a lovely garden. Toby was following her around and taking treats from her by the end of his day which is testament to Lindsey as he takes a long time to warm up to new people. Lindsey's little dog Wilf is also a sweetheart.

Alexandra and her lovely family kindly looked after my dear Rupert for the day while we were out for a family birthday party. I live in Manchester, but was visiting my elderly Dad who lives nearby to Alexandra in Surrey (and had left my other doggies at home up north with our doggie sitter). Ru is a loveable, affectionate but very excitable young terrier who has separation anxiety problems, and has sadly developed fear aggression towards ‘strange’ dogs as the result of a traumatic experience. As there were going to be other relatives’ dogs attending this lunch, I didn’t feel we could take him along. He is used to his regular doggie walker/sitter at home but has spent limited time with total strangers; has never been cared for in my absence without the company of his little doggie mother - and never stayed alone at someone’s else’s house. Alexandra was so kind and helpful, and quickly understood how best to help him settle and feel safe and secure in her home. She kept me updated during the afternoon - and it was clear he’d had a jolly and happy time with her, her husband, and delightful children. He was naturally excited to see me when I collected him - but it was evident that he had not been anxious or distressed, and was calm and cheerful as we walked home. I was delighted with, and grateful for, Alexandra and her family’s care of Ru. I feel that they didn’t only help with the practical need of dog care for those few hours - but very importantly - supported him in reaching a new milestone: being both separated from me, his real dog mummy, and his familiar environment, AND navigating a totally new experience with total strangers. His (clearly) very positive experience of his visit with Alexandra and family will now be imprinted on him, and help him on his journey toward more confidence. Rupert really loves kids, but requires them to be very calm around him (he needs no encouragement to get totally over-excited). Alexandra’s four lovely children got it ‘just right’ :). I would absolutely contact them if ever I need help with my dear scruffy boy again. As the ‘human mum’ of a doggie requiring special handling and calm care I HIGHLY recommend Alexandra to any and all other families considering doggie care with her and her family. She has both the experience and the sensitivity to tune-in to an individual dog’s needs and enable them to feel safe and secure: every loving dog-owner’s first priority in entrusting their hairy child to the care of someone else! A really really big thanks to you and all of your lovely family, Alexandra. Xx

LEATHERHEAD, KT22

About: We’re a family of four with twin 6 year old girls who absolutely adore spending time with dogs. Caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives. Personally, I’ve grown up around dogs and have a deep love and respect for them. We had a King Charles Spaniel named Finlay during my childhood, and we all absolutely adored him. These days, we regularly look after my mum’s dog, Lulu (pictured), and my brother’s dog, Kipling (also pictured). They’re both a joy to care for, and it’s become something of a family tradition to help out whenever we’re needed. The girls love getting involved too, and they’ve developed such a gentle and caring way with animals. We’d love the opportunity to care for your dog as if they were part of our own family! Pet care blends seamlessly into our routine, especially with the flexibility of working from home most of the week. It's ideal for taking the dogs out for walks and letting them into the garden. Plus, it offers great opportunities for our kids to learn and grow! We have a spacious home where your furry friend can freely explore, along with a large fenced garden for them to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

About: Hi! My name’s Lacey and I’m a lifelong animal lover with 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. I’ve previously worked as a dog trainer’s assistant, kennel and cattery assistant, veterinary care assistant, animal carer at a rescue centre, and veterinary receptionist. These roles have given me the confidence and skills to care for pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have vast experience administering medications and caring for pets with additional needs, including elderly animals, puppies and kittens, and those with sensory impairments like deafness, blindness, or limited mobility. Whether it’s a walk, home visit, or a cosy overnight stay, I treat every pet like they’re my own, with plenty of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I’m available for: 🐾 Dog walking 🐾 Dog and cat sitting 🐾 Dog boarding in a calm, home-from-home environment 🐾 Doggy day care I hope you’ll consider me as your pet’s new best friend. I’d love to meet your furry family! Feel free to message me with any questions or to arrange a meet-and-greet to chat about your pet’s needs. 🐶🐱💛 I’m currently not in work so am available 24/7 for your furry friends! My dog Dougie sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago so I have plenty of love to give to your babies. I have a spacious home that I share with my partner. I have a secure, walled/fenced garden with a locked gate which your pets will have access to.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a Bichon Frise and regularly caring for a Poochon gave me a great foundation in attentive, detail-oriented care. For the past three years, I’ve been a proud dog parent to my Miniature Dachshund Gigi, which has taught me everything from managing high energy play to the importance of structured routines. While I have a soft spot for smaller breeds, I am a true dog lover at heart and am completely open to and comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whether your pup is a tiny terrier or a giant breed, I provide a calm, confident, and fun environment tailored to their specific personality and energy levels As I work from home, my schedule is flexible for walks or house sitting. I can provide your pet with consistent company and exercise, ensuring their home routine remains completely uninterrupted while you're away. When house sitting, I prioritise maintaining your pet's familiar schedule and home security. I provide consistent companionship, stick to their feeding and walk routines, and ensure they feel safe. For walks, I focus on engaging, safe routes that suit their energy levels.

About: Growing up with a golden retriever gave me a lifelong love of dogs that has never left me. I also have my own two year old miniature poodle at home and she is honestly my whole world. I FaceTime my mum all the time just so she can show me her. That is how much I love dogs. As a university student I have a really flexible schedule and I am more than happy to work around yours, whether you need a regular dog walker or someone to pet sit every now and then. I used to walk my neighbours’ dogs all the time and loved every second of it. Being away at university means I miss my girl every single day, and that is exactly what inspired me to sign up. I get to do something I genuinely love while making sure your dog gets all the walks, attention and cuddles they deserve. Your dog will be in the happiest hands, I promise you that! Being a university student actually makes me one of the most flexible sitters you will find! Most of my days are completely free, with only the odd hour or two of lectures dotted throughout the week. This means I can easily fit walks and pet sitting around whatever schedule works best for you, whether that is early mornings, afternoons or evenings. I am also a driver, so if you are ever unable to drop your dog off or need them picked up, I am more than happy to come to you. Honestly, spending time with dogs is not a chore for me at all. It is genuinely the best part of my day! When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they are fed, walked, given plenty of treats and kept entertained. I love trying to teach dogs new tricks too, it is such a fun way to keep them stimulated and happy. In terms of trust, I think my own dog speaks for herself! I have a two year old miniature poodle who is, to put it kindly, an absolute handful with zero recall. Yet I have never once lost her. If I can handle her, I can handle anything. You can feel completely confident leaving your dog in my care!

About: I’ve helped train and raise my family lab for 14 years, so I know how important it is for you to find a trusted walker/sitter to keep them healthy and happy while you're away. I’ve also helped care for my friends' dogs - feeding, medicating and poop scooping as required between constant ball throwing and cuddles. I really miss my own dog and I would love to have that joy back in my life. I have a flexible schedule as I'm currently in between jobs and so I'll be able to fit around you and give them plenty of love. My home includes a large garden and I live right next to woodland so they’ll have plenty of space to explore. Waking up at 7am I do toilet breaks before their morning walk in the local woods followed by breakfast. I'll play with them in the garden and keep the door open so they can come from kitchen to garden as they like. Then for lunch we will do a larger walk in the local area before dinner and snuggles in the evening. The garden is fenced and gated, with a large open space to throw balls and for them to run around. We are two minutes walk from the woodland for easy walks. I also regularly drive to new areas in the Surrey hills to try new hiking routes with woods, rivers and fields for them to explore. Our home includes myself and my parents, both of whom grew up with dogs and love them as much as I do.

About: I provide reliable and caring pet services that include walking, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love and attention to keep your pets happy and comfortable. I have owned a cat for 14 years, so I understand how to care for them and how to adapt to their changing needs as they age. I have also helped with my dad’s dog, supporting its training and daily routine. I volunteered at a cat sanctuary in Colombia for a few weeks where I had to feed/give medication to various cats. I’m going into my final year of Hispanic and film studies at Liverpool university. My schedule is flexible and I can work around my lectures in order to take care of any pets! I am completely free at the weekends to help out. I live in a student house and there is a back garden with high brick walls, thus proving pet friendly for our furry friends !

About: I'm a mum of 2 older children that are both at school, my husband is Chris, who works from home. Im currently doing a flexible online course so am home most of the day. I live in Brockham which is surrounded by paths and fields. I love the outdoors and try and go for walks everyday. I'm easy going and very flexible, I have a car so travelling is not a problem. I drop my children off around 8:30 and then collect them at 3. In between those times I'm very flexible with walks and slotting it around my studies and children. We have a fenced garden and are both home all day, our children are generally at home from about 4. Both of them are very used to dogs as all our extended family have dogs, Grandma has Izzy a golden retriever, Uncle Paul has Milly a lab cross, then we have 2 lots of spaniels and a beagle. We often have Obi come to stay and he is a labradoodle . We do have Bluey our cat, she usually goes upstairs when dogs are here. We have a big open area downstairs but prefer to not have dogs upstairs.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Mole Valley on Rover is £34.5 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 16,823 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Mole Valley. About 86% of Mole Valley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Mole Valley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
