If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Emma and Shae were amazing with Buddy who was a nervy mess to start with. By the end of day 1 he was clearly having a great time, and was effectively part of the family. Getting Emma’s ‘Pupdates’ was the highlight of my day. ☺️ I am so grateful to them for going above and beyond what I expected. They have ruined us for all other dog sitters. Thank you so much for taking care of our cuddle monster.

Mark & his wife took fantastic care of Penny when they had her overnight. Penny is a two year old vizsla and can be a handful but they were more than happy to accommodate her, took her for plenty of walks and gave her lots of cuddles! They met us for a walk beforehand which we appreciated so we could show them how penny behaves when out and about and they took a lot of interest in how they could best care for her. They sent lots of photos and kept us up to date the whole time we were away, I would 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be using them again!

We met with Sarah and her family a week before the stay. Sarah showed us around the house and Phoebe had an opportunity to explore the new place. She loved it. We were anxiuos about leaving Phoebe over night and dropping her off was hard. But Sarah was absolutely amazing and Phoebe had the best time with her new friends. We were kept updated with messages, pictures and films throughout her stay. She came home happy and is now looking forward to staying with Sarah again. And we are not nervous anymore. We know she will be in good hands. Thank you so much Sarah!

We found Abby through the Rover site, and she looked after our Boston Terrier Jimmy for 10 days while we were away on holiday. Very easy to deal with vis the Rover site and extremely efficient. She and her family are lovely and Jimmy felt right at home straight away! During his stay, Abby sent regular updates with photos and videos, which was great. Jimmy came back after having his own special holiday with Abby!! We’ll definitely be booking with her again. If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Great dog sitting family!!

About: Having grown up with many pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish etc. I have lots of experience caring for them and their individual needs. After moving to London I have really missed being around animals, as I am unable to care for one full time, I am looking to spend some quality time with your animals on the weekends. I am currently working full time on weekdays, occasionally remote, so I will mainly be available for weekend pet care with some exceptions. I am a very active individual so am happy to take your pets on long outdoor walks and to nearby parks etc. I live in a 550sqft pet friendly apartment with lots of outdoor space and grass areas nearby to go on walks. I am able to accommodate for any individual needs/routines that your pets may have.

We couldn’t have been happier with the care our dog received! Lacey looked after Harley as if he were her own—plenty of walks, cuddles, and updates that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the start that she truly loves dogs and knows how to make them feel safe and happy. We came home to a very content pup and would absolutely recommend Lacey to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitter.

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own more have regularly looked after 3 others while owners have been on holidays. To me they are family and are treated as such. Your pets will be loved by me and will have full access of the house and garden. I owned 2 staffies and a Spanish mastiff. I regularly look after a frenchie a spaniel and 3 greyhounds. I am retired so I can give your pet as much attention as is required. I prefer animals that can be left a few hours so I can still get out for shopping etc. But I could accommodate more needy ones for short periods of time. I have a small fenced garden and no other animals to disturb your cat. Happy to stay or drop in at your house if its local to me also.

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, I understand that every pet is unique. I’ve cared for rescue dogs with behavioural challenges, energetic puppies, and senior dogs with complex health needs, including epilepsy, so I’m confident adapting my care to suit each dog’s individual personality and routine. I’m canine first aid trained and have plenty of hands-on experience recognising when something isn’t quite right and responding calmly if unexpected situations arise. Whether it’s dog boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits or walks, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. My priority is to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment where your dog feels happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. I am a full time pet sitter and dog walker. I therefore dedicate my time to ensure your pets are well looked after and receive the best care and attention whilst you’re away I have a fenced garden and a little friendly Yorkie Poo to keep your furry baby company on walks and rest time. I won’t bring my own dog if sitting in your home. But she can join us on walks if you’re in our local area

About: I’ve spent over 20 years living with cats - so I fully understand that you don’t really own them… you’re simply permitted to share their space. I’m very used to all types - the affectionate shadows, the selective snugglers, the quietly judgemental observers, and the ones who make direct eye contact while knocking things off surfaces. Whatever their personality, I take the time to understand their routine, their boundaries, and all their very specific (and often non-negotiable) preferences. We’re very lucky to have a large, tranquil home, which suits cats perfectly. There’s space to retreat, space to explore, and plenty of quiet corners for uninterrupted napping (their primary commitment). It’s a calm, low-stimulation environment where even the more particular or sensitive cats can settle in at their own pace - no pressure, no chaos, no unnecessary enthusiasm. Care is entirely tailored to the cat. Some want play, some want quiet company, and some want you nearby but absolutely not touching them - I’m very comfortable with all of the above. I’m especially confident with shy, anxious, or slightly aloof cats who need patience, consistency, and someone who understands that trust is earned… slowly. What really sets us apart is that there are two of us. My partner and I provide care together, so your cat benefits from constant, calm companionship without ever feeling crowded - just a steady presence in a peaceful home where they can remain firmly in charge. If your cat stays with us, they’ll be treated as part of the home (and will almost certainly behave as if they’ve always lived here). If they prefer their own space, we offer drop-in visits where everything is kept exactly as they like it - routine intact, food served correctly (or rejected on principle), and their kingdom left undisturbed. Updates are completely your call - from regular photos and small personality insights to simple check-ins confirming everything is going smoothly and your cat is still running things exactly as expected. In short: a spacious, calm and quietly luxurious environment, paired with intuitive care from people who genuinely understand cats - their moods, their standards, and their complete lack of compromise.

About: We’re a family of four with twin 6 year old girls who absolutely adore spending time with dogs. Caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives. Personally, I’ve grown up around dogs and have a deep love and respect for them. We had a King Charles Spaniel named Finlay during my childhood, and we all absolutely adored him. These days, we regularly look after my mum’s dog, Lulu (pictured), and my brother’s dog, Kipling (also pictured). They’re both a joy to care for, and it’s become something of a family tradition to help out whenever we’re needed. The girls love getting involved too, and they’ve developed such a gentle and caring way with animals. We’d love the opportunity to care for your dog as if they were part of our own family! Pet care blends seamlessly into our routine, especially with the flexibility of working from home most of the week. It's ideal for taking the dogs out for walks and letting them into the garden. Plus, it offers great opportunities for our kids to learn and grow! We have a spacious home where your furry friend can freely explore, along with a large fenced garden for them to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

About: My husband and I both grew up with animals being key in our lives; our love for them is what bonded us. Together we ran a rescue centre for 15 years in Spain, caring for some of the most heartbreaking cases - we had dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens & goats in our care. Our first and our last Spanish rescue dogs are living joyfully with us here in the UK – many between have been happily adopted throughout Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK and Ireland. In 2022 we opened a pet sitting and training business in Ireland, but we had to move back to the UK for family reasons, so now we're opening a pet services business here. We have 3 dogs and a cat at home, but we believe you can never have too many furry friends in your life and would love the opportunity to care for yours. Puppies are especially welcome and would benefit from our years of training experience. On pet/house sits we do not charge any extra for a 2nd dog or for 2 or more cats and a 1 hour walk is also included free. Other types and quantities of animals can be discussed. So if you have 2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 rabbits and 6 chickens for example, you will be charged only for 1 dog and 1 cat. We can discuss terms if you have other small-holding animals that need our care too. Experienced poultry handling & care as well as equine and caprine. ALL dog walking will be undertaken ON-LEAD only, unless a secure, fenced zone has been designated. For scheduled dog walks only, there will be a maximum of TWO dogs on your dog walk, yours and one other, likely to be one of our own well trained & socialised GSD or Newfoundland, unless you have two dogs, in which case it will be just yours. We are more than happy to discuss logistics if you have 3 or more dogs, but their safety is their priority. We feel that it is really important your dog still gets personal attention, rather than being just another one in a random pack. Your dog/s will be kept on a lead at all times. We are offering a personal service, not herd bookings. There will be a free, in person meet & greet for every single dog sit booking. My husband and I work from home, so there's always at least one of us in. As former rescue centre owners we are used to putting animal needs well above our own. Your pets will fit in with ours and we'll take the same hyper-vigilant care of them as we do our own. We have a fully fenced/walled back garden. Your dogs will have free reign in our house, along with our own. We care for them as you wish them to be cared for - ours are not crate trained, but should yours prefer a crate, we can accommodate that. We ran a rescue centre for all animals in Spain for 15 years and are experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments, and are well versed in dog communication and having multiple dogs in one household, having looked after in excess of 20 at any one time. We are both experienced dog trainers and particularly welcome puppies where others may not want the responsibility or have the experience. We are canine trainers and behaviourists, and are consistently adding to our professional skills: currently we are both studying canine acupressure and canine massage.

Lindsey is so lovely and clearly a dog lover. She was so kind and patient with our very nervous young dog and great with communication too. She took Toby for a long walk and has a great home set-up with a lovely garden. Toby was following her around and taking treats from her by the end of his day which is testament to Lindsey as he takes a long time to warm up to new people. Lindsey's little dog Wilf is also a sweetheart.

About: Hi! My name’s Lacey and I’m a lifelong animal lover with 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. I’ve previously worked as a dog trainer’s assistant, kennel and cattery assistant, veterinary care assistant, animal carer at a rescue centre, and veterinary receptionist. These roles have given me the confidence and skills to care for pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have vast experience administering medications and caring for pets with additional needs, including elderly animals, puppies and kittens, and those with sensory impairments like deafness, blindness, or limited mobility. Whether it’s a walk, home visit, or a cosy overnight stay, I treat every pet like they’re my own, with plenty of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. I’m available for: 🐾 Dog walking 🐾 Dog and cat sitting 🐾 Dog boarding in a calm, home-from-home environment 🐾 Doggy day care I hope you’ll consider me as your pet’s new best friend. I’d love to meet your furry family! Feel free to message me with any questions or to arrange a meet-and-greet to chat about your pet’s needs. 🐶🐱💛 I’m currently not in work so am available 24/7 for your furry friends! My dog Dougie sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago so I have plenty of love to give to your babies. I have a spacious home that I share with my partner. I have a secure, walled/fenced garden with a locked gate which your pets will have access to.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a Bichon Frise and regularly caring for a Poochon gave me a great foundation in attentive, detail-oriented care. For the past three years, I’ve been a proud dog parent to my Miniature Dachshund Gigi, which has taught me everything from managing high energy play to the importance of structured routines. While I have a soft spot for smaller breeds, I am a true dog lover at heart and am completely open to and comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whether your pup is a tiny terrier or a giant breed, I provide a calm, confident, and fun environment tailored to their specific personality and energy levels As I work from home, my schedule is flexible for walks or house sitting. I can provide your pet with consistent company and exercise, ensuring their home routine remains completely uninterrupted while you're away.

Luna had a wonderful day with Shirley and Chris. From the moment we walked into their home, it was clear that she was going to be well looked after and truly loved during her time with them. Communication beforehand was excellent, and Chris sent some lovely photos throughout the day, which we really appreciated—especially as it was the first time we’d ever left Luna in doggy day care. When we picked her up, it was obvious she’d had a fantastic day, and we have no hesitation in asking Shirley and Chris to look after Luna again. Thank you both so much.

About: I'm a mum of 2 older children that are both at school, my husband is Chris, who works from home. Im currently doing a flexible online course so am home most of the day. I live in Brockham which is surrounded by paths and fields. I love the outdoors and try and go for walks everyday. I'm easy going and very flexible, I have a car so travelling is not a problem. I drop my children off around 8:30 and then collect them at 3. In between those times I'm very flexible with walks and slotting it around my studies and children. We have a fenced garden and are both home all day, our children are generally at home from about 4. Both of them are very used to dogs as all our extended family have dogs, Grandma has Izzy a golden retriever, Uncle Paul has Milly a lab cross, then we have 2 lots of spaniels and a beagle. We often have Obi come to stay and he is a labradoodle . We do have Bluey our cat, she usually goes upstairs when dogs are here. We have a big open area downstairs but prefer to not have dogs upstairs.

Maisie was so grateful to get cuddles, play from all the family and she was made to feel like it was home from home. Surely what every dog ‘owner’ wishes for. I got updates through the day to know how much of a lovely time Maisie was having too. Thank you SO MUCH Phoebe and family. I will definitely be booking again should we both need you. Lorraine :)

About: Growing up with dogs and now owning my own Greek rescue, I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and individual needs. Alongside my experience as a dog owner, I've also worked abroad with a street dog charity, caring for rescue dogs from a variety of backgrounds. This taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement in helping dogs feel safe, confident, and happy. I'm committed to providing your dog with plenty of love, attention, and care tailored to their needs. I'll maintain the routine they're used to and provide regular updates, so you can have peace of mind. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. That's why I'll care for your dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well looked after while you're away. My current work schedule is flexible, however I am not available on Friday evenings (17:00 - 20:30) and Sunday evenings (15:30 - 19:00) When caring for your dog, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medication, playtime, etc to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos.

About: Your dog deserves more than just a sitter - they deserve a second home. Choosing someone to care for your dog is a big decision, and we never forget they’re a cherished member of your family. We know you’re trusting us with someone who means the world to you, and that’s a responsibility we’ll never take lightly. Our goal is simple: for your dog to feel completely safe, loved and at home, while giving you complete peace of mind from the moment you book until you’re reunited. ⭐ What makes us different 👥 Two dedicated, experienced carers – Your dog benefits from constant companionship, individual attention and attentive supervision throughout their stay. 🏡 A spacious detached Surrey home – Featuring a large, fully secure garden (complete with additional safety netting for talented escape artists!) and beautiful countryside walks right on our doorstep. 📸 Beautiful professional-quality photographs, personalised daily updates and videos – So you’ll never have to wonder how your dog is getting on. You’ll feel part of every adventure while you’re away. ❤️ Limited numbers of dogs – We intentionally keep our bookings low so every guest receives genuine one-to-one care in a calm, relaxed home environment. 🛁 Complimentary spa freshen-up for first-time boarding guests – Before heading home, first-time boarding guests receive a complimentary bath using our premium grooming products (where suitable), so they return home clean, fresh and smelling wonderful. ⭐ Trusted by returning Rover families – Many of our guests come back to stay with us again and again, something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve spent over 20 years living with and caring for animals; from energetic working breeds and playful puppies to gentle senior dogs and wonderfully opinionated cats. Caring for animals isn’t simply something we do; it’s part of who we are. From the moment they arrive, your dog becomes part of our daily life - not a kennel routine. Whether we’re working from home, relaxing in the garden, heading out for a countryside adventure or winding down for the evening, they’re included as part of the family. Every dog is wonderfully different, which is why we take the time to understand their personality, routine and all the little quirks that make them unique. Some can’t wait to explore every corner of the house. Others prefer to quietly observe proceedings before deciding whether we’ve earned their approval. (Thankfully, we usually pass the inspection!) Whether your dog loves countryside adventures, enrichment games, playing in the garden or simply curling up for an afternoon snooze, every stay is tailored around what makes them happiest. We are particularly experienced with: • Puppies and young dogs • Senior dogs • Larger breeds • Nervous or sensitive dogs • High-energy breeds • Dogs who thrive with routine, patience and consistency Our services • Home boarding • Doggy day care • Individual countryside walks tailored to your dog’s pace and personality • Drop in visits for pets happiest in their own home One of the things owners tell us they value most is our communication. Some love receiving beautiful photographs, videos and little stories throughout the day. Others simply want a reassuring message knowing their dog is happy, relaxed and having the best time. We’ll always tailor our updates to whatever gives you the greatest peace of mind. Above all, we don’t believe dogs should simply be looked after. For the time they’re with us, they become part of our family, cared for with the same love, patience and attention we’d want for our own pets. Our aim is simple: for every dog to leave happy, relaxed and excited to come back… and for every owner to return home knowing they made exactly the right choice. We can’t wait to welcome your four-legged family member into our family. ❤️ Pet care fits very naturally into our routine — largely because we’ve built our routine around it. Between the two of us, there is almost always someone at home, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods or feel unsettled in a new environment. We’re available for day care, overnight stays, and flexible drop-ins or walks throughout the week and weekends. Whether your pet thrives on structure or prefers a more relaxed day (with strategic naps and snacks), we adapt to their usual routine as closely as possible. In short: your pet gets consistency, attention, and a suspicious amount of enthusiasm from two people who genuinely enjoy their company. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is a large, tranquil, calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment designed to feel like a genuine home-from-home rather than a temporary stop. We have a very friendly, easy-going dog and cat who are both used to other animals and have mastered the art of being welcoming without being overwhelming. That said, your pet’s comfort always comes first - we have a large home with plenty of space, so pets can be easily separated if needed. Whether your pet loves company or prefers their own space, we can fully accommodate that. We’re experienced with a wide range of animals, including large dogs and more particular (or slightly dramatic) cats, and we’re confident handling different behaviours and needs. We follow your pet’s routine closely - feeding, walks, rest, and any specific instructions - because we know the little details matter. With two of us present, there’s always an extra level of supervision, awareness, and care. We don’t just “keep an eye” on pets - we actively engage with them, making sure they’re comfortable, settled, and happy. If separation is part of your pet’s routine, we can absolutely accommodate that. Otherwise, they’re free to relax, explore, and make themselves at home (within reason - we do draw the line at them fully taking over the house… usually).

About: I started out by walking dogs for my neighbours after school, about 22 years ago. I was paid £1 per week, which increased to £2 eventually! For the last 10 years, I have been providing reliable pet care for dogs and cats of different sizes and breeds. My priority is not only in guaranteeing the necessary nurturing for a pet but also building a strong emotional bond with them and ensuring safety. I have been a cat owner for most of my life. My animals are so loved and cared for, and yours will be too. I believe quality pet care is a combination of comprehensive essential care, safe environment and building a strong emotional bond, where pets feel loved and secure. I am available to house sitting, walks and visits. I can take lots of walks in the day with your dog, play games, work on commands, stick to schedules if needed. My day rate reflects full responsibility, routine care and availability, rather than hourly time. This also includes one 30 minute walk. If your pet requires more/longer walks in that time, this will be an additional charge which i am happy to discuss. I can be available 7 days a week and can work remotely most of the time. I also manage my own work diary so I can be flexible around your dogs schedule and needs. I may need to run our for work errands, but most of the time, pets under my nurturing are never left alone for long. While sitting your pet in your home, instructions will always be kept to. Just as much respect will be given to your home as your pet. Security of your home will be maintained. Your pet's needs will always come first.

About: I have looked after and helped take care of animals for many years and I absolutely love it. I really enjoy the process of building a connection with an animal and getting to know them. During my travels over the last couple of years I have looked after a whole variety of dogs and cats. I am always very active and so love taking dogs for walks, runs or hikes. While I also love to relax, play and cuddle with them too. I would say I particularly connect with bigger more active dogs but the smaller ones also have a place in my heart. I brought up a Labrador puppy and have gained more experience with training all sorts of dogs, finding it easy to have the patience required to train them. I have built my best connections with cats over the last five years, also looking after stray cats along my travels whenever possible. I find connecting with them and really understanding a particular cats personality comes naturally to me. I’m always more at peace with them around. I am just coming back from travelling the last two years and have decided to just pet sit for the rest of this year. This way I can keep my schedule flexible and spend as much time with animals as possible when I am looking after them. I’m always one to get up and out early especially if the dogs need more than one walk.In my spare time I’m playing music and learning new instruments which keeps me flexible to walk and give attention to pets throughout the day. I love to exercise outdoors, take walks and go for runs, dogs can join for all of these. It’s always a pleasure to have the company and go for extra walks! I have a fenced garden so dogs can spend as much time outside as they like, roaming between here and indoors. There is a good size park across the road for small walks and running around off the lead. Cats can also venture around here safely. From home I can walk to Epsom/Ashtead common for longer walks and more time off the lead. Within a 10 minute drive I can be on Epsom Downs or Horton Country Park, while slightly further there is Headley Heath. This makes it easy to give them a whole variety of walks. If I am to be staying at your place I will be just as keen for many walks. With this being my primary work I will find it easy to give your pets the attention and love they desire. I don’t currently have any pets so at mine your pets would have the place to themselves with me.

About: I’m a former zookeeper with a real passion for giving animals the best possible care. I’ve been lucky enough to work with a huge range of species — from domestic pets to animals like bears, lynx and wolverines — so I’m very confident reading behaviour and understanding what each individual animal needs. I know every pet is different, and I always take the time to get to know their personality. Whether your dog is full of energy and loves an active walk, or a bit more nervous and needs a calm, gentle approach, I’m happy to adapt and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience caring for geriatric animals and those with additional needs, including giving a wide range of medications. I understand how important it is to trust someone with this level of care, and I always take a careful, patient approach to make it as stress-free as possible for your pet. In my current role, I’m responsible for maintaining high welfare standards, monitoring health and behaviour, and making sure animals have positive, enriching experiences — and that’s something I bring into every pet I look after. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and will always keep you updated so you have peace of mind while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own.

I recently left my 4-year-old cocker spaniel, Leo, in Adam’s care while I was on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Adam was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. Leo can sometimes be a little sensitive when I’m away, but Adam made him feel completely at home. He gave Leo plenty of attention, playtime, and walks, and it was clear that Leo was happy and well looked after. I especially appreciated the regular updates and photos—such a thoughtful touch that gave me peace of mind throughout my trip. It’s not easy to leave your dog behind, but knowing Leo was with someone as trustworthy and attentive as Adam made all the difference. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a kind and responsible pet sitter. Leo will definitely be happy to stay with him again! 🐾

Dionne didn’t just look after him, she treated him exactly as we would. He was so well cared for and clearly felt right at home. We came back to one very happy, content pup and will absolutely be booking with Dionne again in the future!

Phoebe and her family are absolute angels! They took care of my rescue dog, Dió, for 10 days while we were away on holiday, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Because Dió is a rescue, I am always a bit anxious about leaving her, but Phoebe completely put my mind at ease. She and her family are incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming. They showered Dió with so much love and affection that I think she actually missed them when she came home! She had the best time running around and playing in their wonderful garden. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust 100% with your fur baby. Phoebe and her family treated Dió like a member of their own family. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and top-notch pet sitter. Thank you all so much for taking such amazing care of our girl!

Our Border Collie Bess had a lovely time with Katarina and her family and their laid back dog Fred! Communication was excellent and Katarina was kind enough to send regular photo updates while we were away. The big plus is the lovely wooded area immediately behind their back garden so the dogs were able to be walked regularly and safely, away from main roads and traffic etc. Everything worked out very nicely indeed, thank you Katarina.
