Hi! My name’s Lacey and I’m a lifelong animal lover with 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, and I truly love what I do. I’ve previously worked as a dog trainer’s assistant, kennel and cattery assistant, veterinary care assistant, animal carer at a rescue centre, and veterinary receptionist. These roles have given me the confidence and skills to care for pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have vast experience administering medications and caring for pets with additional needs, including elderly animals, puppies and kittens, and those with sensory impairments like deafness, blindness, or limited mobility. Whether it’s a walk, home visit, or a cosy overnight stay, I treat every pet like they’re my own, with plenty of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. This was the first time we have left our lovely girls for 2 weeks. Lacey was amazing with them, she kept me updated and sent pictures of the girls, excellent communication. The girls felt very much at home with Lacey. Highly recommend her and will be using Lacey in the future.
Lacey is the best. She looks after Lola as if she were her own. I know Lola loves going to stay there and always has a lovely time. By taking care of Lola so well, Lacey is also taking care of me, as I know I don't need to worry. I couldn't recommend Lacey enough for anyone in the area! Thank you Lacey.

My dog Lola stayed with Lacey for two nights this week. It was the first time we had used Rover, so it was a bit out of my comfort zone, however I am so happy that we have found Lacey, as Lola seemed to have a great time, and Lacey kept me updated with some fab photo's of Lola looking so settled and happy in her home. I would recommend Lacey to anybody in the area thinking of using Rover, and I know for sure Lola will be going back there on her holidays very soon again. We couldn’t have been happier with the care our dog received! Lacey looked after Harley as if he were her own—plenty of walks, cuddles, and updates that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the start that she truly loves dogs and knows how to make them feel safe and happy. We came home to a very content pup and would absolutely recommend Lacey to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitter.
Lacey looked after my energetic family dog Luna. Lacey appears to know a lot about dog behaviour and gave us some pointers on how we can decrease reactivity. I felt very comfortable leaving my pride and joy with Lacey. The fact she used to work in a Vets made me even more at ease. We had great communication throughout the stay and I would recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
I’m currently not in work so am available 24/7 for your furry friends! My dog Dougie sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago so I have plenty of love to give to your babies.

I have a spacious home that I share with my partner. I have a secure, walled/fenced garden with a locked gate which your pets will have access to.
A typical day
I know how important it is to stimulate your pets both mentally and physically. For physical stimulation, we'll go to many local parks/woodlands for a walk (off-lead if this is what you would prefer). For mental stimulation, I'll make sure I take your dogs to new places to experience new sensations and smells.
