Jason and Jess were perfect for day care for our toy poodle. They were quick to respond initially and Milo had a great time with them. Everything went to plan and they gave us regular updates. We can’t thank them enough for giving Milo a fun and safe environment while we were away!

We were vey grateful that Felicitas helped us out at short notice by looking after Cassie, our dog, at our house while we were out for the day. Cassie is quite shy and nervous but Felicitas was very skilfull at calming her and when we got back they were best friends! I highly recommend Felicitas to anyone needing a dog sitter.

We have recently found Daria to take our dog, Daisy, regularly once a week and I’m so pleased that we have. Daisy is always welcomed warmly at the door and Daria has shown so much patience for her nervous temperament. She is sure to send through regular photos of Daisy’s day which is really reassuring to receive. I would highly recommend to anyone in the local area. Thank you Daria !

About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats, including walking dogs of different sizes and temperaments, and providing calm, attentive care for cats in their own homes or in my own home. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a relaxed visit, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to detail, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home and part-time, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care won’t be left alone and will enjoy regular walks, playtime, and a consistent routine. I have children who are at school during the week, and they are gentle and used to being around animals. For pets that are comfortable with children, they’ll receive plenty of love and attention in a family environment. I also have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely relax and play. If your dog or cat prefers to stay in their own home, I’m more than happy to offer drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, and companionship, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for in their familiar surroundings. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after at all times. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, play, and any specific care instructions, so they experience as little disruption as possible. Before any booking, I like to arrange a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your pet, understand their personality, likes, dislikes, and any special requirements. This also gives you the chance to feel confident and comfortable with me. In your home, I make sure your pet feels relaxed in their familiar environment, providing companionship, playtime, and lots of attention while respecting their space. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, safe, and loving environment where they’ll be supervised and included as part of the household. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and behaviour, whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and independent, and I always prioritise their comfort, safety, and happiness.

About: Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience caring for pets by looking after my friends’ animals while they were on holiday and by house-sitting my friends’ parents’ two cats. These opportunities have not only deepened my love for animals but have also taught me the essentials of pet care, from maintaining feeding schedules to providing playful engagement and ensuring a clean and safe environment. My hands-on experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent care and companionship to pets, making me a reliable choice for anyone seeking a devoted caretaker. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to be highly available and attentive to the needs of the pets I care for. I am typically free during weekdays and can easily adapt to the specific routines that your pets may require, ensuring they receive consistent care and companionship. This flexibility also enables me to provide frequent updates to you about your pet’s day, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Ensuring the safety and well-being of your pets is my top priority. I have cultivated a secure and nurturing environment in my home, where your pet will be treated with care and respect. I adhere strictly to safety protocols, including secure handling and constant supervision, to prevent any incidents. Trust is fundamental in my service, and I am committed to maintaining open communication with you, providing regular updates and photos, if requested, to reassure you that your pet is happy, healthy, and safe in my care.

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and personalities. I previously owned a dog and have also helped friends, neighbours and family with walking, feeding, bathing and daily care. I’m calm, patient and I always make sure pets feel safe, loved and comfortable. Because I work part-time, I have lots of free time during the day to focus on your pet. I can easily adjust my schedule for walks, feeding times and cuddles. Weekdays and weekends are both flexible for me. I create a relaxed and stress-free environment where pets can feel safe and loved. I pay close attention to their needs, keep everything clean, and follow your instructions exactly. Your pet will always receive gentle care, lots of attention and regular updates from me.

Jango stays with Taleb everytime I can't take care of him. Taleb is caring and responsible. He always updates me with pictures and videos, or just a text - which is deeply appreciated. He is flexible and always tries to accommodate our needs. Jango isn't good with children, cats or strange people and Taleb is very good managing this and providing a safe environment for Jango. I recommend Taleb 100% as always!

About: Your dog is welcome in my home just like one of my own - everyone is allowed on the sofa! I have a HNC in animal care, have worked at a doggy day care centre and been a vet care assistant in my previous jobs. I am now a primary school teaching assistant wanting to have some extra doggy company at weekends and in the school holidays. I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and would welcome small dogs (up to 10kg) for boarding and day care in my home. Must get along with other dogs - my 2 are quite lazy! If your dog joins us, a typical day would be chilling out in the house and garden, and going for walks in the local parks. Please get in touch if you have any questions before booking. At weekends and school holidays I am at home full time to care for your pets! For weekend boarding from September drop off will be after 3pm on Fridays, please message me to open calendar for bookings! Your pets will be in my home with me and my 2 dogs to keep them company. There will always be access to the garden for toileting and having a potter around. For walks I can walk your dog with mine if suitable, or take them out separately if required. We walk around the local area and parks so your dog will need to be comfortable in public spaces around other dogs, people and traffic. Sleeping arrangements can be flexible based on where your dog is most comfortable. You will need to provide your own food for your pet which I can give at your preffered time. All vaccinations must be up to date and your dog must have had flea prevention treatment.

Sophia & her family are lovely. They looked after our very energetic Cockapoo for the day he was played with, had a long walk & fed his dinner. He came home very happy & very tired, so slept well. Sophia was very accommodating with everything from the initial meeting, timings on the day & with all discussions leading up to the day care. I would happily recommend Sophia & use her again for my dogs day care. Thank you Sophia & family x

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Crawley on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 15,682 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Crawley. About 86% of Crawley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Crawley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
