Dog loving family
As a child I had lived with several German Shepherds and generally around all other types and sizes when seeing friends and family. I have also been around horses since I was 4 and had my own at the age of 14 which was great for learning responsibility. I currently look after a Husky and a Cockerpoo for their owners as myself and my family love having them and treat them as though they were our own. It's lovely to see them excited when they know they are coming to stay with us.

It was our first time using this service. Lucy was very reassuring, sending pictures and giving updates on how Murphy was getting on. He enjoyed playing with new friends. This overnight stay, at Lucy’s suggestion, has given us confidence for a slightly longer stay for Murphy with her in a few weeks time.
Lucy took great care of our 16 1/2 year old Black Labrador. He’s never stayed with someone he doesn’t know before and he came home very contented. Not sure he even missed us! Really happy to hear he was exploring the garden and getting some ‘care in the community’ assistance. We received an evening update and photo which was reassuring. Have already secured another stay with Lucy and her family. Thank you so much! 🌟
Lucy took care of Buddy overnight from yesterday evening until tonight, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her home is lovely, and her family treated Buddy like one of their own, showering him with attention and love the entire time. I really appreciated the regular updates throughout his stay, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Buddy came home happy and relaxed. I would highly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a caring, attentive sitter, and I will definitely be booking with her again!
Millie had a lovely time again and was so well cared for throughout her stay. It was clear she felt comfortable and happy, which gave me real peace of mind. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with regular updates that reassured me she was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and Millie would be more than happy to visit again!
Sent my Luna for 9 nights and we were all so worried as this was the first time we have ever had to leave her. However, Luna settled in very quickly and Lucy sent regular updates and photos even taking her to a private field to run freely! We can tell Luna had an amazing time and we definitely reccomend if you’re looking for someone to look after your dog and treat them as if it was her own.
Nala and Eddy loved their time with Lucy and her family and are no doubt looking forward to the next visit! Whilst they were there Lucy kept us updated with texts, photos and videos, which was a great comfort.

Schedule
I am available mostly anytime and at short notice. My usual day is at home, and the stables which is near to home. There are nice places nearby which we enjoy walking the dogs to or sometimes a short drive to somewhere.

My house is dog friendly with a very safe fairly large garden with high fences. They can enjoy playing,laying, zooming around or playing football with my son.

A typical day
We will play lots of games to keep them entertained and stimulated and go for a nice walk around the local parks or further out depending on weather and the time we have together.
