Dog loving family
As a child I had lived with several German Shepherds and generally around all other types and sizes when seeing friends and family. I have also been around horses since I was 4 and had my own at the age of 14 which was great for learning responsibility. I currently look after a Husky and a Cockerpoo for their owners as me and my family love having them and treat them as though they were our own. It's lovely to see them so excited when they know they are coming to stay with us.

I contacted Lucy for an ad hoc dog sitting service while we were visiting Haywards Heath for a wedding. After explaining what we were looking for, she couldn’t have been more accommodating. Lucy collected Inky from our accommodation, allowing plenty of time for us to meet her and her partner and for them to get to know him before we headed off. As we were already at the wedding venue when it was time for Inky to come home, Lucy took the time to discuss where he could stay in the house, what needed to be left out for him, and made sure everything was sorted. Throughout the day, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind, and let us know as soon as Inky was safely back home. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better service. Lucy is professional, friendly, reliable, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves dogs. Thank you again, Lucy! 😊🐾
Squidge had a great time at Lucy's! She has been a great host
Eddy and Nala stayed overnight with Lucy and her family as a dry run for a longer stay when we go away on holiday. They had a great time and can't wait to go back and we can go away with the confidence that they will be in very safe and caring hands.
This was our first time leaving our dog, who can be nervous with new people. He loved it at Lucy’s house and she took great care of him with regular updates to us too. Paddington is looking forward to coming back for the weekend soon! Highly recommend
What a great first experience using this service and someone unknown to us before the booking. I was a little anxious leaving my girl but sounds like she had the best time. A holiday all of her own. Thank you so much Lucy - will definitely book again when needed.
Benji had a great 1st stay with Lucy. He was nervous and out of his comfort zone as this is all new to him as usually stays with his Nanny - but I took comfort knowing that he was going to stay with people that would love him like we do. He jumped straight up on sofa as soon as got in door! I now feel so confident and happy that he will stay with Lucy and her family whilst we go away knowing he will be cared for so well and with so much experience. Thank you Lucy.

Schedule
I am available mostly anytime and at short notice as I can be flexible. Apart from doing the school run I will be at home and can go for nice walks which I have lovely places available for them to go to for lots of sniffs and fun.

My house is dog friendly with a very safe fairly large garden with high fences. Where they can enjoy playing,laying, zooming around or playing football with my son.

A typical day
We will play lots of games to keep them entertained and stimulated and go for a good walk around the local parks or further out depending on weather and the time we have together.
