About: Hello, I’m a big lover of dogs and their individual personalities. We had a family Labrador called Baileys who loved beach walks. I’ve co-parented a Pug called Darcie, who became disabled (her back legs buckled) and I took her for walks in a doggy rucksack, which she loved! Also, before they moved to Scotland, I was an auntie to my friend’s French Bulldog called Travis, who’s a rescue. I currently look after a French Bulldog called Tina - we met and bonded through ‘Borrow My Doggy’. Therefore, I have experience with a range of dogs, including dogs with disabilities as well as nervous, reactive dogs. Being a lover of the outdoors and nature, I enjoy taking dogs out for walks and on little adventures. I believe in giving all dogs the best quality of life and would love the opportunity to be a part of their doggy journey. I would like a dog of my own; however, due to socialising and travelling often my lifestyle won’t allow it. I work in student engagement at a local university and work from home a lot, so am open to a dog keeping me company at my ground floor flat where I live alone and have a front garden. I also have spare time some evenings and weekends, and am open to looking after dogs in owners’ homes overnight and for holidays. I’m happy to answer any questions you have, and look forward to hearing from you and your fur baby. I work from home 4 days a week (days vary), and can take your fur baby to the toilet when needed during this time, and for a walk at lunch and/or after work. At weekends I like to get out in nature and would be happy to take them with me to enjoy the outdoors. I have an unfenced front garden (where I would keep your fluffy one on a lead if required, or would supervise them if they can be off-lead). I live in 2 bedroom flat where I live alone, so lots of space for your fluffy one to be free with me.

On Thursday I work until 1pm so have the afternoon free and Wednesdays I normally have a few hours during the day. I’m free most weekends so have plenty of time then! I won’t be offering any services at my own home as my personal dog would not be comfortable with dogs she’s never met before. Becca came to visit us prior to our booking and George and I were enjoyed her company. She allowed him time to come to her. While I was away she showed the same level of consideration for George and adapted to his needs and preferences, taking his food to him in the garden and ensuring he got his meds and supplements. She checked if I wanted updates, which I did and sent photos and brief comments at each visit. She answered any queries quickly and I felt reassured that George was ok and safe in her caring hands. I would highly recommend Becca to care for anyone's cat and will rebook her if and when I next go away.
Louise was equally as amazing with coming to feed our cats whilst we were away as well, regularly dropping in to check in on them and give them food. We felt very reassured and relaxed leaving them at home whilst we were away knowing they'd be in safe hands with Louise.
Heidilaine has looked after both of my pets while on holiday, respecting their routines, feeding, playing and walking with frequent updates and lovely photos and videos. She did great especially with my dog, a young Rottweiler with a lot of energy, handled him very well! Very grateful for her attentiveness. Highly recommended.
