About: Hi there! My name is Ellen and I'm originally from Australia! I'm missing my dog back home and would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I've owned dogs throughout my life and have experience petsitting for neighbours and family friends. Our family got our first dog when I was 7 and he lived for 14 years in our care. This has given me experience caring for dogs of all ages. My family recently got a puppy, so I also know how to care for a puppy still learning the basics of obedience. I am more than willing to look after puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs. I'm happy to do home visits, dog walks and dog sit overnight. I'll give your dog plenty of love and cuddles. I unfortunately cannot look after your dog in my place, but am willing to travel to your home to give your dog the best care possible. I'm missing my dog at home and would love to care for your dog when you need someone reliable. Please get in touch if you're interested in my services in the Brighton area. I am currently engaged in full-time work, so I have good availability on weeknights and all day on weekends. I am more than willing to accept last minute bookings. Please note, that I work in office Mondays and Tuesdays every week. This means that I cannot petsit during working hours on those days. I cannot currently care for pets in my own home. I am willing to adapt to the pet owner's home based on what they have already established with their pet (e.g. allowed outside at certain times).

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, including pets who need a calm and quiet environment. I have administered medication to cats and dogs and have experience caring for older pets with individual needs and routines. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, gentle companionship, medication, feeding or extra love, I’ll provide reliable and thoughtful care while following your instructions closely. I’m currently on sabbatical, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to dog and cat sitting. I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible around each pet’s routine and individual needs. I enjoy spending time with animals and would love to make pet care a regular part of my day. I provide pet care exclusively in the owner’s home, so pets can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. I follow their usual routines closely, including feeding, walks, medication and any specific care instructions. I’m respectful of each home and take safety seriously, making sure doors, gates and pets are secure. I’ll also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for.

Recently, I looked after my sister-in-law’s small, nervous dog for three weeks, including supporting crate training and settling into a calm routine, which we absolutely loved. That experience is what inspired me to join Rover. I'm patient, attentive, and committed to giving every pet a safe, relaxed, and caring experience. I currently work from home, which means I’m around during the day to look after furry pals, including short walks or check-ins at lunch. I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding during the evenings in the week. At weekends I’m very flexible and, when free, would love to spend time with pets then too. About: I’ve had several dogs in my family across the years, including a golden retriever (m) and a jack Russell (f), as well as two cats a tabby (m), and a black cat (f). We still have our lovely black cat luna, and I recently got my mum our Freddie, who is a dachshund mixed with a cocker spaniel. I’ve got lots of experience looking after family friend dogs. I love going on long walks, or along the beach I work a 9 to 5 in central Brighton. I’m based in hove and walk to work every day, with time in the mornings and evenings to do walks or any general duties. Availability to home sit. If the home is situated near central Brighton I complete check ins/wee breaks and feeding during lunch times. Lots of availability across the weekends! I have a large fenced garden and a large park near by to my home to walk, as well as a 20 minute walk to the beach!

About: I have owned and looked after friends' and neighbours' pets for most of my life. Having part-retired, I've qualified in animal care, welfare and first aid to spend most of my time with my and fellow Brightonians' furry family members while ensuring their happiness (and their owners'). I'm now studying cat breeds and behaviour. I am part-retired, part-studying further animal care and welfare, in particular cat breeds and behaviour, so while i'm very flexible with my time it revolves around furry and human customers' needs - ranging from home visits to appointments involving owners and overnight pet/home sitting. I aim to stick to cats' and small furries' routine in particular as close to what they are used to in order to ensure their comfort is optimised. I have two indoor cats who feel very comfortable in my Brighton city centre flat, enjoying the view of flying wildlife and people from window-facing cat trees and their sun lounger on the catified balcony. When visiting other homes to look after furry residents, i wear clean shoe covers to avoid cross contamination (disease or parasites) and use pet-friendly cleaners.

I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, and now share my own home with two dogs, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us - they’re family. I was also completely horse obsessed growing up, so animals have always been a huge part of my life! I now have two dogs of my own: Maggie, a 6-year-old American Bulldog, and Peggy, a 5-year-old French Bulldog. They are the absolute loves of my life. A little about Maggie… Maggie came into my life when she was just 9 weeks old, after being rescued from a puppy farm. She arrived riddled with fleas, full of worms and absolutely terrified. She was so frightened that, for the first three weeks, she wouldn’t even eat. It took a lot of patience, consistency and trust-building. I began hand-feeding her until she felt safe and strong enough to eat independently. Slowly, day by day, she began to realise that she was safe. Fast-forward six years, and Maggie absolutely loves life. She adores other dogs and is a happy, loving girl. She still has moments when her anxiety gets the better of her, but together we’ve learned how to support her through those moments. This experience taught me so much about caring for anxious, rescued and sensitive dogs. It taught me the importance of patience, understanding and allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Most importantly, it taught me how much of a difference we can make simply by being a calm and consistent safe haven for an animal who needs one. Being Maggie’s mum has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Seeing her grow into the happy dog she is today makes me incredibly proud, and anxious dogs will always hold a particularly special place in my heart because of her. I’m very adaptable and happy to work around your pet’s individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m always happy to discuss any specific requirements, behaviours, anxieties or routines before a booking. I’m also confident administering medication, including oral medication such as pain relief, as well as eye drops and ear drops. If your pet has any other specific needs, please just let me know so we can discuss how I can best support them. I’ll follow their usual feeding, medication and rest routines as closely as possible, helping their day feel familiar and stress-free. Throughout the booking, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and being well cared for. Whether you have a playful puppy, an energetic adventurer, a nervous rescue or a senior companion, I’ll take the time to get to know them as an individual and care for them with the same patience, respect and love I would want for my own pets. My schedule is completely flexible, which means I can be there when you need me - whether that’s for regular walks, drop-in visits, daycare or overnight stays in your home. I am not currently offering boarding in my own home due to my dog recently having surgery. However I am available for pet sitting in your home.

I also had a service check and she happily let the contractors in. The flat was very clean and in great condition when I got back and sheets ... CAROLINE (Sevenoaks England, May 2025 - 3 nights) Francesca is so lovely,kind and caring . My Maggie was well looked after , in fact she was so spoilt! Francesca has a great sense of humour and so easy to get on with , it felt like we had known her for years ! We had updates daily and Maggie was so happy . My home was nice to come home to clean and tidy . I really would recommend Francesca for any animal sit and home . She was the perfect for us and I am sure she will be for anyone else . Whether your doggo has endless energy and needs huge walks and 4 hours of tug of war, or your elderly pup needs some gentle cuddles and a slow walk around the block, I’m there! Previous experience in looking after small and large breeds, shy and aggressive dogs, puppies and older dogs needing medication. I always customise my walks or stays based on what your dog likes best - whether that’s favourite walk routes, daily routines or how they like their treats served, every dog is different and I’m happy to adapt to their needs! I work mostly from home (3 days a week, on flexible days), and balance my work schedule around your dog walk and dog sitting needs. I’m also available weekends and evenings! I follow your guidance on how best to care for your pooch. As much information as you can give me beforehand helps to ensure minimal disruption for your dog, so we can stick as close as possible to their favourite routines!
