About: Hi there! My name is Ellen and I'm originally from Australia! I'm missing my dog back home and would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I've owned dogs throughout my life and have experience petsitting for neighbours and family friends. Our family got our first dog when I was 7 and he lived for 14 years in our care. This has given me experience caring for dogs of all ages. My family recently got a puppy, so I also know how to care for a puppy still learning the basics of obedience. I am more than willing to look after puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs. I'm happy to do home visits, dog walks and dog sit overnight. I'll give your dog plenty of love and cuddles. I unfortunately cannot look after your dog in my place, but am willing to travel to your home to give your dog the best care possible. I'm missing my dog at home and would love to care for your dog when you need someone reliable. Please get in touch if you're interested in my services in the Brighton area. I am currently engaged in full-time work, so I have good availability on weeknights and all day on weekends. I am more than willing to accept last minute bookings. Please note, that I work in office Mondays and Tuesdays every week. This means that I cannot petsit during working hours on those days. I cannot currently care for pets in my own home. I am willing to adapt to the pet owner's home based on what they have already established with their pet (e.g. allowed outside at certain times).

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have grown up around pets — both cats and dogs. I'm vegan and genuinely care deeply about animal wellbeing. Recently, I looked after my sister-in-law’s small, nervous dog for three weeks, including supporting crate training and settling into a calm routine, which we absolutely loved. That experience is what inspired me to join Rover. I'm patient, attentive, and committed to giving every pet a safe, relaxed, and caring experience. I currently work from home, which means I’m around during the day to look after furry pals, including short walks or check-ins at lunch. I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding during the evenings in the week. At weekends I’m very flexible and, when free, would love to spend time with pets then too. This flexibility means I can fit pet care naturally into my daily routine and give animals plenty of attention rather than rushing visits. I live in a one-bedroom flat with laminate floors and a small fenced garden. I work from home, so I can keep an eye on your furry friend throughout the day and give them all the attention they need — whether that’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or even some late-night Netflix binging together! I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines to make sure they feel comfortable and at home.

About: I’ve always lived with cats since I was a kid. I was on trusted Housesitters for a couple of years and looked after many dogs and cats. I frequently look after my friends dogs and cats when they go on holiday. I work from home so can work from pet owners homes. I have quite a bit of flexibility in my working day so can take dogs out for walks in the morning, lunch time or evening. I can accommodate your pets in your home in what ever way they need whether that be taking them for walks or letting them out into the garden.

About: Having grown up with 2 dogs and over 5 years experience dog and cat sitting with long term stays and regular dog walks. I have a lot of knowledge and a lot of love to give. About: As an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, I bring a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their individual needs. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, and now share my own home with two dogs, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us - they’re family. Over the years, I’ve gained particular experience caring for dogs with anxiety, nervous temperaments and difficult pasts. I offer calm, patient companionship and aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible, helping them feel safe, secure and settled while their people are away. I was also completely horse obsessed growing up, so animals have always been a huge part of my life! I now have two dogs of my own: Maggie, a 6-year-old American Bulldog, and Peggy, a 5-year-old French Bulldog. They are the absolute loves of my life. A little about Maggie… Maggie came into my life when she was just 9 weeks old, after being rescued from a puppy farm. She arrived riddled with fleas, full of worms and absolutely terrified. She was so frightened that, for the first three weeks, she wouldn’t even eat. It took a lot of patience, consistency and trust-building. I began hand-feeding her until she felt safe and strong enough to eat independently. Slowly, day by day, she began to realise that she was safe. Fast-forward six years, and Maggie absolutely loves life. She adores other dogs and is a happy, loving girl. She still has moments when her anxiety gets the better of her, but together we’ve learned how to support her through those moments. This experience taught me so much about caring for anxious, rescued and sensitive dogs. It taught me the importance of patience, understanding and allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Most importantly, it taught me how much of a difference we can make simply by being a calm and consistent safe haven for an animal who needs one. Being Maggie’s mum has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Seeing her grow into the happy dog she is today makes me incredibly proud, and anxious dogs will always hold a particularly special place in my heart because of her. I’m very adaptable and happy to work around your pet’s individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m always happy to discuss any specific requirements, behaviours, anxieties or routines before a booking. I’m also confident administering medication, including oral medication such as pain relief, as well as eye drops and ear drops. If your pet has any other specific needs, please just let me know so we can discuss how I can best support them. I’ll follow their usual feeding, medication and rest routines as closely as possible, helping their day feel familiar and stress-free. Throughout the booking, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and being well cared for. Whether you have a playful puppy, an energetic adventurer, a nervous rescue or a senior companion, I’ll take the time to get to know them as an individual and care for them with the same patience, respect and love I would want for my own pets. My schedule is completely flexible, which means I can be there when you need me - whether that’s for regular walks, drop-in visits, daycare or overnight stays in your home. I am not currently offering boarding in my own home due to my dog recently having surgery. However I am available for pet sitting in your home.
