“We booked this last minute and Sophie was nothing but warm, friendly, and super accommodating. She was so quick to help, and from the moment she walked in we instantly felt at ease. We knew right away we’d made the right choice—not only leaving Barney with her, but also welcoming her into our home. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Balbina did a great job of caring for our two cats while we were away for Christmas and even helped with watering some of our plants. She is very friendly and attentive and I think the cats were relaxed with her. I would happily ask Balbina to help us again in the future :)”

“Ruta looked after our cat while we were away - she completed daily drop-ins to feed out cat and check she was ok. Everything went smoothly and communication was excellent.”

“I booked Toni quite last minute for the bank holiday and couldn't be happier. She was great with my big reactive dog, kept her safe on her walk and sent pictures to update. Will defo be using her again :)”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my family for many years now and love how they make a house a home. I’m always the first one to help walk, feed or give loving cuddles to neighbors animals making sure they have the company they need. I love walking and being outside and would love look after a dog and give it a lovely day out if needed. I look after my family’s dog Dylan and take him on beautiful long walks. He been with us for 7 years now and love keeping him company in the days when there’s no one home I’m currently part time dancer artist and I also work in a coffee shop so my time is super flexible. I’m always out walking so can help with walking your dog. I am free most days, all day I do not have any pets in the home I live in at the moment so can bring your pet back to mine without the worry of another animal

I often like going to devils dyke and the Seven Sisters on walks! I have a pretty flexible schedule as I have a small part time job therefore having a lot of free time to engage in different activities and opportunities aswell as accommodate yours and your pets needs! I can feed, walk and give your pet company as and when you need. I have a safe environment and lots of parks nearby to take your pet on lovely walks and to play. I can be a companion for your pet or take care of them at home whilst you are busy!

About: Hi there! My name is Ellen and I'm originally from Australia! I'm missing my dog back home and would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I've owned dogs throughout my life and have experience petsitting for neighbours and family friends. Our family got our first dog when I was 7 and he lived for 14 years in our care. This has given me experience caring for dogs of all ages. My family recently got a puppy, so I also know how to care for a puppy still learning the basics of obedience. I am more than willing to look after puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs. I'm happy to do home visits, dog walks and dog sit overnight. I'll give your dog plenty of love and cuddles. I unfortunately cannot look after your dog in my place, but am willing to travel to your home to give your dog the best care possible. I'm missing my dog at home and would love to care for your dog when you need someone reliable. Please get in touch if you're interested in my services in the Brighton area. I am currently engaged in full-time work, so I have good availability on weeknights and all day on weekends. I am more than willing to accept last minute bookings. I cannot currently care for pets in my own home. I am willing to adapt to the pet owner's home based on what they have already established with their pet (e.g. allowed outside at certain times).

About: Having grown up with 2 dogs and over 5 years experience dog and cat sitting with long term stays and regular dog walks. I have a lot of knowledge and a lot of love to give. I am working from home and I am really active so enjoy to walk a lot around the city and on the beach. I enjoy exploring new areas and walking in the downs. I am working remote so I am really available to make sure the animal is safe at my home and doesn’t feel lonely. I can also manage my planning to come and visit your home at any time that is necessary.
About: It's the classic line of "I have always loved animals"... but it is true, both dogs and cats and many more! Although I do have a soft spot for cats… Having grown up with a cat myself, I know what it takes to care for a pet and give them all the love and attention they require. Providing that care is something I am able to do with ease. Over the years I have looked after and walked a big variety of dogs, both big and small, giving them all the love and cuddles possible. Some of these dogs were simply neighbours dogs who needed a walk or joining friends on dog walks. I also regularly took part in the University of Sussex dog walking society, taking dogs out for a few hours in the beautiful scenes of the South Downs. I work full time but have evenings and weekends available. I’m also very active, walking and running so getting to your home will not be a problem I have a fenced garden so dogs are able to play in a safe and enclosed environment. I am also a 5minute walk from the beach!
“Andra was an absolute gem while caring for my three cats! From the moment we booked her on Rover, she was incredibly responsive and made sure to learn each cat’s individual quirks and routines. Throughout the entire stay, she provided frequent updates and photos, so I always knew my furry family was safe and happy. She spent time playing with them, made sure they had plenty of fresh water and clean litter, and gave them lots of love and attention. It was clear she treated each cat as if they were her own. I came home to three relaxed, content kitties—which is all a pet parent could ask for! If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and professional, I highly recommend Andra for any of your pet-sitting needs.”
About: I've always had pets since I was a kid and animals have a special place in my heart. They're family to me and after having experienced living both with cats and dogs, I know the difference they make in our lives. Hence, I want you to know that I'll definitely try to become the best friend to your furry one! I'm currently switching jobs at the minute, so my schedule is pretty flexible. This is all while UKVI decides to sort out my visa to stay in the UK, unfortunately, I can't do most jobs while I wait on a decision, so, yeah, I'm free all day! I currently have a cat living with me, so I wouldn't be able to sit any pets at my home, but my cat is looked after simply by doing the basics - making sure he's got plenty of food, water, litter box empty and I play with him so he can burn out the energy. When it comes to dogs tho, I'm happy to take them over for short, medium or long walks depending on the mood of the dog and time of day, always making sure they get a treat on the way back. :)
About: I love animals and grew up around dogs, cats, chinchillas, birds and fish! I’ve been in London just over 10 years and just moved to Brighton last summer. I’ve sat dogs and cats for numerous Rover users and friends, and also used to have a neighbour’s cat drop in for visits every day for years before my recent Brighton move. I genuinely want to spend time with animals and would happily walk dogs or drop in to feed/ play with cats in my area. Happy to host pets at my place as. I wouldn’t be comfortable taking in pets from multiple households at the same time as this is largely set up for companionship rather than revenue while my partner and I work our life out to have a pet (or more likely pets) or our own . Can also stay at yours with a bit of an advance notice. I work a nearly fully remote job so am around pretty much all working weeks and most weekends :) These days I have a few calls a day totalling around two to three hours so I am truly flexible with my pet sitting schedule I don’t have a garden but my flat is right by a few greens and a large park is 10mins away. I have no toxic plants for cats or dogs. I’ve cared for senior dogs and cats so am no stranger to a tablet pusher or a secret ham pill roll. Have also cared for cats with asthma and given them inhalers.

About: I have looked after the animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, hamsters and horses for over 30 years. My family also have always had dogs and more recently rescued dogs. I’ve experience with both young and senior pets. I am the sort of person that pets will just approach even nervous ones. I love animals and it’s a joy to be with them. I mainly work from home. I’m only in the office one day a week for a few hours. So I’ve plenty of time to look after and play with your pets. I’m available for weekend and weekday boarding as well as any walking or fussing that is required 😊 I am in a ground floor flat with a communal garden out the back and then literally two minutes from my door there is a lovely park and I’m only about 10 minutes from the beach.
Brighton cat owners share their Rover experiences
It was the first time we used Amanda for our two cats Poppy and Daisy. She came for a visit prior to us heading off on holiday and gave the cats some treats and a good stroke. She was reassuring and clearly had a lot of experience with cats. Whilst we were away we were very reassured seeing her check ins and the photos she shared of the cats looking very relaxed and happy with her.
Our cat Prince loves Jade and was purring and happy to see her on each visit , even lying on his back showing how comfortable he was , Jade really cares about the pets she looks after , often staying longer to make sure they had enough time with her and were settled before she left . Would definitely choose Jade again , great communication and photo updates which is important when you are away to know all is well :)

I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter. I was able to completely relax on holiday knowing my cats were in Tamara's care. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and her communication was excellent throughout. Tamara genuinely loves animals. She spent quality time with my cats, played with them, and paid attention to every detail of their care. I trust her completely and feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She's truly a dream cat sitter, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Ariana was amazing with Coco, she’s a lovable but sensitive soul and Ariana cared for her perfectly. I received regular updates and photos while I was away which was lovely and also reassuring. I came back to happy cat and so grateful for that. I would definitely recommend Ariana for future cat/ pet sitting duties, she was great.

Sofiya is a star! Super great communication, always on time and super reliable, friendly, trustworthy and follows instructions/kitten routine I shared with no problem with my 11 week old kitten. I will happily hire Sofiya again :) thank you for all your help!

Alexandra has just looked after my ragdoll while I was on holiday. Second time I have used Alexandra and having found her will now be using again hopefully. My ragdoll was so well looked after and calm throughout. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean house! Alexandra sent me daily updates and photos which were so appreciated. Alexandra was attentive, took note of my preferences and followed the regime for my cat perfectly. I thoroughly recommend.
Salome was AMAZING! She was super communicative, shared photos and videos after every visit. Every task was complete and the cats were so ease around her! Also very flexible with times, which was needed because one of my cats were taking antibiotics. She gave medication to my cat every day, and I returned to a very happy healed cat 🐱 I will definitely be booking Salome again, thank you so much for everything x

Emily is an excellent cat sitter — responsible, caring, and instantly loved by my cats from the very first moment. She messaged me at each visit and shared plenty of lovely photo updates. We came home to a spotless flat and happy, relaxed cats. She’s highly reliable, and I felt completely at ease knowing everything was in good hands while we were away. I will definitely rebook Emily in the future.
