This is the second time Alessandro has looked after Bluebell for us. I appreciated the call beforehand to make sure that everything was clear, and got a lovely update on the day with lots of photos. Thanks Alessandro!

I really wanted to recommend Alessandro. He came recommended to us and had the star rover rating, however, I am genuinely concerned about the care he provided my two cats. My husband and I were away for one day, which meant we only needed two visits from Alessandro, one in the morning and one in the evening. We had set times for these for a reason as it fits their feeding schedules. I messaged Alessandro with some of the instructions/ guidelines we’d talked about before. Alessandro informed me that he forgot that we had set times and that Rover puts random times in. Luckily, my cats are very chill, but on both times he was between 30 minutes to 2 hours late. I had said to Alessandro when he informed me of this that it’s fine and that he could do what worked for him in that case, but I was concerned that he wasn’t aware of the times set in the first place. I had shown Alessandro in my home where the litter trays are- 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the bathroom. I can see from our cameras that he did not once go in the bathroom and I’ve come home and it’s absolutely full which is just unacceptable. I informed him that he would need to make sure they had water in their fountain. This is completely empty and can see from the cameras that this wasn’t filled up which means they did not have water. They have a specific amount of food each which I discussed with Alessandro and he agreed that he understood this. I’ve come home and I can see that he fed them both completely wrong amounts and far too much. I also messaged Alessandro with instructions on what food to put in their feeder so they had a little something overnight. He didn’t do this and set the timer for 8am, which means they went hours without food. One of my most concerning points was that I can see on the camera that Alessandro sat on his phone the entire visit and played with my cats to take a photo to send to me of them being ‘played with’ only to go right back to being on his phone. They got maybe 1 or 2 minutes of attention when I had paid for him to be there for 30. In some general housekeeping aspects, I was disappointed to come home and see that the cat food bag was left open, so the cats had gotten into it, all of our lights were left on, and the chair he sat on had just been left without it being tucked away. Not big points, but this feels careless in someone else’s home. I had discussed everything with him during his meet and greet with us and it seemed like he fully understood everything, but it’s clear that he didn’t as the care my cats were left in was just unacceptable. I also then followed up and messaged him with everything he needed to know, and so therefore there was no reason for this to all be ignored. Alessandro is a really lovely person, but I could not in good faith recommend him after how he left my cats.

I have used Alessandro lots of times in a short amount of time for looking after my kitten. He is friendly, easy going, accommodating and my cat loves him! I love knowing that my cat is always well looked after when I am away because I have booked Alessandro. He sends me regular updates which I love and always communicates effectively, listening to what you as an owner would like for your pet.

This is the second time Alex has looked after my kitten and he could not have been in better hands! Alex met Bandit prior to our first sitting session and they immediately got on so well - Alex made sure Bandit was fed, watered and well looked after as well as keeping me informed every step of the way, knowing how guilty I felt for leaving my cat at all. Alex provided me with lots of photos, videos and updates on Bandit and as ever, we can't wait to have him back soon. He was fantastic

Thank you Alessandro for looking after our energetic little Temi. From arranging our initial meet & greet and the booking itself, Alessandro was really helpful and accomodating. He shared some fun photos and videos during the time he was looking after Temi. He was incredibly devoted and fussed Temi like a little princess. We will definitely book with Alessandro again.
