To make sure your pet feels totally safe, relaxed, and happy in my care, it’s really helpful to know a few key things before we start: • Routine & Habits – What’s their usual day like? Meal times, walk times ect … the more I can stick to their routine, the more at ease they’ll feel. • Personality & Preferences – Are they playful or shy? Do they like to play or prefer a quiet cuddle? I’ll tailor my time with them to what they enjoy most. • Medical Needs – Any medications, allergies, or health concerns? I’m more than happy to help with any extra care they need. • Behaviour Around Others – How do they feel about other dogs, cats, or people on walks or at home? This helps me keep them safe and happy. • Triggers or Fears – Loud noises, certain places, or anything else they’re unsure of? Knowing these means I can avoid stress and keep things calm. Every pet is unique, so the more I know, the better I can love and care for them like they’re my own.

Whether your pet is full of playful energy or prefers a slow, gentle pace, I can tailor each day to suit their unique needs and personality. I aim to make sure your furry family member feels safe, stimulated, and loved while you’re away. For energetic pets, we can enjoy a day full of fun! A mix of playtime, cuddles, and brain stimulating activities to keep them happy and mentally engaged. We can also go on as many lovely walks as needed, full of exciting smells and sights. If your pet is a senior or just enjoys a slower pace, our day can be all about comfort and care. Cozy cuddles (if they would like this), gentle companionship, and calm surroundings with plenty of love and patience. I’m more than happy to provide quiet time, medication if needed, and just being a calm, reassuring presence. For pets that I visit just for walks, we can head out for a safe and enjoyable stroll in familiar or enriching environments. Whether it’s a quick trot around the block or a long wander through a leafy trail, your pet will get fresh air, exercise, and positive interaction to help break up their day. Your pet’s routine, safety, and happiness come first because they deserve the very best while you’re away.

I’ve raised my own beloved pets from pups and kittens right through to the senior years, so I understand the needs of animals at every life stage. From high energy walks and cuddles to patient, gentle care in their later years. Whether it’s keeping your pets company while you’re away, making sure they get their exercise, or maintaining their daily routine, I promise to always bring love, kindness, care and attention to detail to every sitting. Sophie is just brilliant! We have two dogs, one of whom is very sensitive and reactive. Because of this we haven’t left him to go on holiday for many years. Sophie looked after them both in our home with such care, love and professionalism. She sent us daily updates and gorgeous photos, so we felt 💯 reassured. She put our dogs needs first every time and genuinely looked after them with love and fun. They were very happy with her! She also left our house clean and tidy. Can’t thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone. We will definitely use her again if she’ll have us with our restrictive (but gorgeous!) doggies.
Sophie was great. Excellent communication before and throughout the visit, instant bond with Eric and she was totally unphased by puppy behaviour. He's now resting, thoroughly satisfied. Thanks Sophie.
