About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, I currently own a lovely and lively cocker springer cross, so I’m used to long walks and lots of energy. As well as dogs I’ve looked after smaller furry friends like rabbits, some chicken and even bees! I am lucky to live 10 minute from my job and my hours mean I always have weekends available. About: I’ve dog sat my whole life for friends/family etc, I have my own little rescue pup called Ted who’s an amazing boy and I’m sure he’d love to have some new friends as much as I would! It’s a daily occurrence as I’m responsible for the care and raising of my own little pup so I have a good amount of time to dedicate to the care of other dogs! As I have my own little pup who’s a frenchie I have very strict house rules when it comes to the safety of Ted. I want to ensure Ted has a safe, clean and tidy environment to play and live in, whether I’m with him or not. I carry out daily checks to make sure the floors are clean and tidy etc. This is also a non drinking, non smoking and drug free household! It’s also very quiet where I live so Ted has no issues when it comes to him getting the peace and quiet he needs. So all in all, this a dog friendly home with access to the beach and local dog parks and gardens within a 5 to 10 minute walk!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 9 years old. I grew up in Bali so I’m quite used to having a lot of dogs, I had 6 at one point in my life. Apart from having my own dogs I also dog sit for family and friends. Most of the time it would long term, 1-2 weeks at a time. However, I can also dogsit for a weekend with no problem. I know all pets have varying personalities so I try my hardest to understand them and bond with each one. I can take care of elderly dogs as well. I had a beagle and shih tzu growing up and they both reached the age of 14! I’m no stranger to making sure seniors are well looked after :) I work part time at a cafe in the laines so my hours are very flexible. I usually have a big portion of the day free. My week changes on a weekly basis, so I have lots of days free for dog sitting which I love! I’ve recently moved right next to the pier so the beach is a stone throw away. I have quite a large flat so there’s plenty of space for a couple of pets. I also have a fenced of roof/balcony Terrace with some grass, this is perfect for late night toilet runs! Although I always prioritize going for a real walk, there’s lots of parks nearby and of course the beach. Pets are allowed on the furniture.

About: Ive been looking after dogs, cats, horses and small pets all my life, I’m super confident with any pet and love animals more than anything, I know how important it is to find the right person to trust with your furry friend but I promise you that’s me! I can promise to tailor you and your pets needs accordingly and am happy to chat about any requirements etc! And most importantly I can promise to keep your pet safe, happy and having the best time! Im currently working 2 days a week online at home so I am home 7 days a week for the whole day. So I’m super available, my house is spacious with a lovley garden, and also surrounded by dog friendly parks and beautiful walks! Ive had dogs all my life so it’s very natural for a dog or cat to be at home. I’m comfortable with assuring your pet is fed, watered, walked and entertained for their full time with me. About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from my childhood cocker spaniel who I helped out with in his younger energetic years and into his older, unfortunately more sickly years, to the current family sprocker who, while adorable and loyal, is particularly timid due to experiences prior to our adoption of him. Over the years I have dog sat for friends and family, caring for dogs similar to those that I've grown up with, but also those with extra needs in the form of anxiety and varied routines. While I hope to adopt a dog in the future, sadly at the moment I am not in a position to have a full-time pet, but would love the chance to be around, and care for animals in the meantime! So far through Rover I've had the opportunity to look after a variety of dogs (and some lovely cats) with different needs and requirements who you'll see scattered throughout the pictures on my profile and have loved spending time with all of them and getting the chance to explore more of the walkable local area in the process. I also volunteer with a local lost pet charity as a media and email admin, helping in efforts to reunite missing and lost pets with their families, and occasionally assisting with their stall at local events, such as the RSPCA dog show earlier this year. I currently work full-time in marketing from home, leaving plenty of extra time in my schedule to play with, monitor and exercise pets. While I do have a monthly visit to the office, the rest of my schedule is manoeuvrable and easy to work around. While I am unable to have a pet full-time in my current home, I've had pets my entire life, having had energetic spaniels who needed plenty of walks and playtime, to looking after more relaxed, affection-centred Italian greyhounds. While I do work weekdays, my job allows for pets to be besides me (or, as tends to happen, asleep on my knee) throughout the day allowing an easy balance of work and attention, with plenty of spots for exercise within walking distance, including a park with lots of trees to keep the temperature down on hotter days a few minutes away.

We know how much attention our boy can need in his outdoor explorations — with his over-the-top energy, curiosity, and confidence all at once — and Sarah handled that really well. Clayton apparently enjoyed the walks, greeting her with excitement at the start and coming back calm and happy afterwards. She was reliable and punctual throughout, sticking to the agreed schedule and procedures even at short notice. About: I’m a genuine animal lover who’s happiest when surrounded by dogs. After moving back home from London, I realised just how much I missed seeing a (very) scruffy tail wandering around every day. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have cared for more than 10 over the years, so looking after them comes naturally to me. About: I've taken care of my own dog and my friends' and family's dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I've lived with cats since I was born and I had a dog from when I was 10 years old till a couple of years ago when she passed away, she was my best friend growing up and although I don't feel ready to get another dog I'd love to spend more time with dogs and cats and take care of them. Since I moved to Brighton from Italy I've been doing some dog and cat sitting, as much as my full time job allows me, I usually have 2 to 3 days off a week and I'm more than happy to spend some of my free time with dogs/cats. I've had my own dog since she was a puppy to when she was 14 years old and starting to need a lot of attention and care. My days off are usually Wednesday and Thursday (sometime Sunday too) so I am fully available to take care of your dog/cat/house on those days, but can still provide walks and drop ins on other days when needed! On my days off I'm available to come and stay at your place as long as needed, just keeping your pup/cat company or taking them out on walks, whether they need a slow and chill stroll around the neighborhood or a long walk at the park or in the downs. I'm very active so happy to keep energetic dogs entertained with long walks, runs and games. On a working day I can still come and visit (and walk) your dog/cat but I won't be able to stay over for too long.

About: We moved from Cornwall three years ago so I could study, and my boyfriend Nathan works from home. He’s grown up with dogs his whole life, rescues and puppies included (he is verified on Rover too!!!) I’ve lived with his family dogs and helped out with dog walking and sitting for friends too. We live in a one-bedroom flat just off the seafront. While we don’t have a private garden, there’s a green space right outside and Queen’s Park is only a five-minute walk away, so plenty of room for walks and play. We just ask that no food with nuts is given due to a serious allergy, but we’re totally fine with raw food. I work part-time but during the week I am usually home. Nathan works from home, so there's always someone around. Your dog will never be left alone as we’re both usually here. Our flat is secure, bright, and comfortable, an inviting space for any dog to relax in. We do live by a road and up a flight of stairs but always carry small doggies! As stated, we live next to a garden and park so toilet trips aren’t far.

About: I'm a young professional who works from home for part of the week and lives a minute from the beach. My family dog is eight years old, and I grew up around dogs of many sizes and temperaments. I’ve dog-sat for friends and family (including puppies and larger dogs) as well as users of BorrowMyDoggy and Rover for years now. I also had a family cat for most of my life and have recent experience house-sitting for a week while caring for two cats. I am both a cat and a dog person! I live off Western Road in a large house, a short walk from the seafront and near several green spaces. I work full time on a hybrid basis, with two days of working from home each week that typically fall on Thursdays and Fridays, but can be flexible. Before a sit, I take care to ensure that the house is a safe environment by removing any choking hazards or food etc. that may be consumed. Make sure they have adequate water and food and that they are taken outside often.
