Kind, experienced sitter
I grew up with cats and have had dogs in my adult life. I'm empathetic and understand how both cats and dogs communicate. I sadly lost my Greyhound to cancer last year but this has made me confident with administering medication and caring for animals with additional medical and physical needs. My Greyhound was also a rescue and had some behavioral needs when she first came home which I worked closely with her to resolve. I regularly dog sit for friends and family who always comment on how much their dogs love coming to stay.

Beckie was great with Cooper from the meet and greet to the first day of daycare, he went off happily with her and I didn't have to worry at all.

Beckie and Ed have looked after our two chihuahuas a couple of times now, once for a week and a few times for the day. I couldn't recommend them enough, our dogs absolutely love staying with them and feel so comfortable at their house. They don't settle easily but with Beckie and Ed they didn't want to come home! Would highly recommend, thank you so much! ❤️
Beckie was so lovely and accommodating when looking after my Edgar, and when I came to pick him up he didn't really want to leave! She’s a very safe and caring sitter and I’d gladly book with her again 🙂

We left Fig in great hands with Beckie and Ed. They were super receptive to her needs and adapted her stay to ensure she was always comfortable. Fig had a great time and didn’t want to leave.

Schedule
I work from home 3x a week so can have calm low energy breeds midweek. At the weekends I am usually available and am able to have more active breeds.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat, with a big sofa and space for a dog bed/crate. There is some road noise but the area is quiet and tranquil. I don't have a garden but I take dogs out 2x a day for a walk and 2x a day to use the toilet and have a sniff. I'm close to parks and the beach and mix up my walks to include calm sniffing time and some play time if that's what the dog requires. I can also do some training if requested. I have plenty of dog toys and a raised feeder/water bowl. Dogs are allowed on furniture and will be treated as part of the family.
A typical day
I like to enrich dogs with a lot of sniffing work, either feeding on a snuffle matt or encouraging calm sniffing on walks. For dogs that get more enjoyment from playing I have lots of toys for them to choose from. I live near multiple parks and the beach, and have a car so can go for longer country walks on the weekends so the dogs get variety and lots of new smells.

- I'm happy to administer medication and any specific care your pet needs, please let me know if there are any rules or training you would like me to reinforce. I prefer lower energy dogs who don't bark too much, just because I live in a flat. However I'm happy to have higher energy breeds at the weekend where I can have them out and about.
