Thank you Toni for looking after Mademoiselle La Flooph… very kind and generous with your communications and reassurances ( I can be a worry mum) and Birdy was calm happy and smiling when we collected her. I was really happy with the care and love you gave, the updates and understanding when we arrived home a little late. Until next time X

Garry loved staying with Michaela and Simon’s family. They were absolutely great with him, and I was feeling totally calm leaving him there. I received daily updates on Garry (photos and videos), who was regularly fed, walked and who enjoyed playing with Scout (who is absolutely adorable) and listening to the birds in the family’s garden.

About: About Me Recently relocated to Brighton after many years pet sitting in Kingston/Surbiton. Lifelong animal person, I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs… even a Jersey cow, goat and chickens at one point, so I’m very comfortable around different animals and temperaments. Alongside my regular cat clients, I now also dog sit — often for the same households who trusted me with their cats first. I only take one dog booking at a time, so your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and consistency. I’m happy to: • Sit in your home • Or host at mine (by arrangement) ⸻ My Experience I had two rescue cats (Niles & Frasier) from 6 months old who lived to 16 and 15 slightly eccentric, very loved, and much missed. I’ve also worked with a local rescue collecting abandoned cats and fostering so I’m confident with shy, anxious or more “characterful” pets. I now have a number of regular clients and repeat bookings.

It was a total pleasure communicating with Sarah who was very responsive and confirmed my booking within a matter of hours. She clearly loves dogs and she welcomed Charlie into her lovely home and I knew straight away he was going to be well looked after and loved for the 6 days I was away. I highly recommend Sarah and would 100% use her again.

We cannot recommend Huda enough! She took incredible care of our kitten while we were away, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Huda kept us updated throughout, sending adorable pictures and updates that really put our minds at ease. Her chill, understanding attitude was such a blessing, especially when our train was delayed, and we ended up showing up late to pick up our kitten. She handled the situation with so much kindness and patience. It’s clear Huda genuinely loves animals, and our kitten warmed up to her immediately. Knowing our little one was in such good hands made our trip so much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and all-around amazing pet sitter, Huda is the one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

About: I have had family dogs from a young age. Whilst my partner was working at Battersea Dogs home we fostered a variety of dogs from overnight to month long stays, all of varying temperament and behaviour. I have also done a number of house / dog sitting stays through trusted housesitters. I work from home full time, managing my own schedule so have plenty of time for dog sitting, collecting, massive walks and most importantly dog scratches on the sofa I have ample space so can crate your dog if needed, with plenty of green space and the beach just a short walk away - plenty of space to keep a dog entertained!

I have been dog and cat sitting the last ten years since my own Cocker Spaniel died - I have a borrow my doggy dog a day a week, for the last two and a half years who is dear to my heart, and have enjoyed over 14 sits with dogs and cats through Trusted House Sitters this last year. I have 5 star reviews every time. Being with animals genuinely makes me so happy! Every dog I look after I fall in love with. Cats too... I love walking and discovering new places so why not give me a try, I promise to give your pets all the love and the attention they deserve. I am flexible with hours as work part time, free some weekends and for sleepovers. I am happy to travel short distances to your home. I have a garden for dogs to use and am close to the seafront for lots of walks, countryside too. I always follow owners rules about walking their dogs, am mindful of how other dogs might interact with the dogs I am looking after, and careful with roads and fast moving water. I check pets for ticks and always carry a tick remover. I interact with your pets to keep them stimulated if need be, and give tons of love! I am experienced with administering medication to animals and always make sure it has been taken! If am driving your dogs around I make sure they are secure in my camper van and use a harness to make sure they are safe.

Roland was recommended to me as someone with experience with mini schnauzers, and he was available for a last-minute stay. We had a meet-and-greet beforehand where Mungo and I met his gorgeous greyhound Laurie. Roland is friendly, calm and clearly adores dogs. He communicated regularly throughout Mungo’s stay and sent me plenty of pics. I was super happy with him and will definitely use him again. Thanks!

Our two cockerpoos had their first weekend stay with Andrew and Steve recently and returned home afterwards very relaxed and happy having enjoyed several walks in local parks and been very well cared for. They made time to get to know our dogs on the meet-and-greet visit, and to check out all the details of what they do and don't like, so when we returned to drop them for the weekend the dogs bounded in full of enthusiasm to be back! They seemed very comfortable in Andrew and Steve's lovely relaxed home, and we were confident leaving our two in their care. Thanks for your kindness in making them so welcome.

Where to start! Daphne had our young cocker spaniel for just over a week for her first ever time away from home, and it couldn't have gone better. Rosie had an amazing time, Daphne kept us up to date with messages and photos of the various activities she did with Rosie, and the icing on the cake was the little birthday celebration she had for Rosie as she turned one whilst we were away! If you are looking for someone to look after your dog I couldn't recommend Daphne more! It's so clear that Daphne adores the dogs she looks after, and I think Rosie was a little sad to leave! Will definitely be using Daphne again in the future!

While we were away, she sent us lots of comforting photos and regular updates. She also noticed that he might have an intolerance to a particular type of food, gave us helpful feedback and adjusted his diet using the alternative food we had provided in advance. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. I would happily trust Salome with our cat again and highly recommend her.

There are 2,225 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Hove. About 89% of Hove sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Hove pet parents with similar pet households.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
