About: Reliable and caring pet sitter offering dog walking, home visits, and dog and cat boarding in my home. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from small companion breeds to large, energetic dogs. I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs, whether that means active walks, playtime, companionship, maintaining familiar routines, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence while you're away. I also have extensive experience caring for rabbits and other small animals. I understand how difficult it can be to find a sitter who is genuinely knowledgeable about rabbit care and able to recognise the subtle signs that something may be wrong. Rabbits are experts at hiding illness and distress, so close observation is essential. I am confident monitoring their behaviour, appetite, activity levels, and overall wellbeing, helping to identify potential issues early and giving owners peace of mind while they are away. Having entrusted my own pets to carers in the past, I understand the level of trust owners place in someone looking after their animals and take that responsibility seriously. Because pet care is currently my main focus, I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the animals I look after. I enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and adapting to what makes them feel comfortable, whether that's playtime, quiet companionship, maintaining familiar routines, or simply having someone nearby throughout the day. I have experience caring for animals with ongoing health conditions and special care requirements. This includes administering oral medications as well as subcutaneous injections, particularly in rabbits and other small animals. I am confident following veterinary instructions carefully, monitoring for changes in behaviour or wellbeing, and ensuring treatments are given safely and consistently. Services include: • Dog and cat boarding in my home (day care and overnight stays) • Dog walking for dogs of all sizes and energy levels • Feeding, cleaning, and daily care routines • Medication administration and subcutaneous injections • Rabbit care and small animal care • Companionship, enrichment, and playtime I provide regular updates with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I also have access to a vehicle should emergency transport ever be needed. Pet care is currently my main focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the animals I look after. I am available for boarding, daycare, and home visits throughout the week and at weekends, depending on availability. I aim to keep each pet's routine as consistent as possible, ensuring they receive the care, companionship, and attention they deserve. I aim to provide a safe, calm, and low stress environment where pets can settle at their own pace. Before each booking, I discuss their routine, personality, and any medical or behavioural needs with their owner to ensure I can provide consistent care. I keep my home clean and secure, paying close attention to doors and windows, and I carefully monitor each pet's wellbeing throughout their stay. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Our dog, Biscuit, was really well looked after by Darren. His set up was ideal to keep Biscuit occupied. We got lots of photos and updates on how Biscuit was getting on throughout her stay - recommend and we will use Darren again ☺️”

“I could have not be more grateful and feeling relaxed and calm thta Odin is in the best hands with Azar. She clearly loves dogs and she welcomed Charlie into her lovely home and I knew straight away he was going to be well looked after and loved for the 6 days I was away. I highly recommend Sarah and would 100% use her again.”

“Sophie really looked after Rolo. Sent me lots of updates and pictures whilst we were on holiday and really took care of him when he developed an upset stomach. We were late collecting Rolo due to unforeseen circumstances and Sophie was so kind and understanding. Thank you so much Sophie. Will definitely recommend Sophie and will rebook with Sophie again xx”

About: Your pet's wellbeing is my top priority. Love, care, and attention are at the forefront of everything I do. I've lived alongside animals since the day I was born - dogs, cats, rodents, chickens, even snakes and lizards. Safe to say, I'm an animal lover through and through. I have a wide range of pet sitting experience, from short visits to long-term and overnight stays. Having fostered for dog and cat rescues, I'm just as comfortable with nervous or reactive pets as I am with the friendliest of companions. I'm an active person who loves long walks, hikes, beach swims, and runs but I'm just as happy curled up in the garden with a book, keeping your pet company. I am currently in between roles, therefore right now, I have full flexibility during the week and at weekends, with no fixed commitments. My partner Ryan and I spend a lot of time outdoors, at local parks or the beach, with plenty of walks, fresh air, and exercise built naturally into our routine. Evenings are more relaxed, settling in front of the TV or spending time in the garden, so your pet would get a good balance of activity and calm, quiet company throughout the day. Whether in my own home or the pet owner's, my approach is the same: to stick to your pet's existing routine - keeping to established feeding times, walk schedules, medication, and bedtime routines as instructed - to avoid disruption. At my home, I can offer a safe, secure space with a fully fenced garden, ideal for supervised outdoor time/play. I'm an advocate of safe crate training, therefore if a crate is provided, I'll maintain the same routine your pet is already used to at home. Throughout any sit, I'm happy to send regular updates and photos so you can check in and have peace of mind.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I've always been around dogs, and I also have a lovely dog called Napo so I will treat your dog with as much care and love as possible. I'm currently working full-time from home, I have time available on the weekend. I can have breaks as much as I want, also have lunch hour. I would prefer to stay at your place so the dog might feel comfortable while you are away. Of course they can stay at my place and I have a garden. Please beard in mind that I have a dog, and he is well-behaved.
“Brunna and her partner are so sweet, we were really nervous about leaving our dog with dog sitters for the first time rather than friends or family, but they really put us at ease and we knew she would be very well looked after. Our dog stayed with them a full week while we were away for work and sent photos and updates the whole time so we knew what she was up to. They also live in a great location so they could walk her on the beach as well as in parks and in town because she’s a border collie and needs a lot of exercise. Absolutely recommend using Brunna, and we definitely will again.”

“Lyla had the best time at Klaudija and Charlie’s with their lovely dog Lily! She enjoyed herself so much that she really didn’t want to come home and was so sad to leave. I will definitely be booking again. They were incredibly attentive, especially in the heat, with cooling mats, not walking too much in the heat and have a big garden. They put so much thought into keeping Lyla comfortable. I had absolutely no worries while she was with them. Thank you both so much, we can’t wait till next time! 🐾”

Chewie was really well looked after for her stay with Daisy - ahead of the stay, we met up and Daisy made sure she had all of the information needed to ensure a comfortable stay, asking questions I hadn't thought of! Would absolutely recommend Daisy - and will be using her again next time we need Chewie to be looked after :)

Molly watched our dogs again for a week while we were away. They were so excited to see her, which always makes us feel good about leaving them. She kept us updated throughout the week, and it was nice knowing they were well looked after. We’d definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again!

There is not enough praise for the care and attention Gaston recieved during his stay with E & C. I received lots of photos and general information about what he was up to. E & C were confident in his care and he was calm and contented when I collected him. Highly recommend

Our 8 month old puppy Cockapoo had his first sleepover at IIiyana’s and he seemed to absolutely love it and clearly had a great time! IIiyana kept us updated with photos. IIiyana is very kind and patient and you can see how much she loves dogs. Our puppy loves going to stay or for a walk with IIiyana. We highly recommend IIiyana and will defenitely be booking again.

Sara and Franz are very kind, caring, sweet souls. We left our dog, Fig, in very safe hands. She was extremely comfortable right from the start and didn’t want to leave…she was a very happy dog when we picked her up (which isn’t normally the case). Sara’s place is very neat, tidy and dog friendly with lots of space and a garden. I’d highly recommend them and will be booking them again very soon.

Beckie and Ed have looked after our two chihuahuas a couple of times now, once for a week and a few times for the day. I couldn't recommend them enough, our dogs absolutely love staying with them and feel so comfortable at their house. They don't settle easily but with Beckie and Ed they didn't want to come home! Would highly recommend, thank you so much! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
