Pet care experience

Reliable, caring dog sitter you can trust

I am a lifelong animal lover and have grown up around pets — both cats and dogs. I'm vegan and genuinely care deeply about animal wellbeing. Recently, I looked after my sister-in-law’s small, nervous dog for three weeks, including supporting crate training and settling into a calm routine, which we absolutely loved. That experience is what inspired me to join Rover. I'm patient, attentive, and committed to giving every pet a safe, relaxed, and caring experience.

Doggy Day Care • Feb 03, 2026

Luke (and also Holly!) was absolutely wonderful with Snoopy. He was welcoming, patient, and very attentive to Snoopy’s needs and routine. Communication was clear and reassuring throughout the day, and it was obvious Snoopy felt comfortable with him. I felt confident and calm leaving Snoopy in his care and will definitely be booking again.

Luke and his partner Holly looked after our dog Bones for 3 weeks while we were on holiday. Bones is very anxious and I was nervous about how he would feel being away for us for so long but he had a wonderful time! Luke sent regular updates and was very communicative. I felt very reassured that Bones was in great hands. Luke is very good with animals, he's a gentle giant and I would recommend him without hesitation!

Schedule

I currently work from home, which means I’m around during the day to look after furry pals, including short walks or check-ins at lunch. I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding during the evenings in the week. At weekends I’m very flexible and, when free, would love to spend time with pets then too. This flexibility means I can fit pet care naturally into my daily routine and give animals plenty of attention rather than rushing visits.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a one-bedroom flat with laminate floors and a small fenced garden. I work from home, so I can keep an eye on your furry friend throughout the day and give them all the attention they need — whether that’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or even some late-night Netflix binging together! I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines to make sure they feel comfortable and at home.

A typical day

I’d take your furry friend on walks nearby — Queens Park is just around the corner, and we can even head down to the seafront if they’re up for it! Other than that, we’ll have plenty of fun chill time, snuggles, and relaxation on the corner sofa — lots of attention, fuss, and play at their pace.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, habits, or behaviours I should be aware of so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible. I’m happy to work with all breeds and personalities — whether shy, nervous, or super energetic — and I love spending time helping pets feel safe, happy, and cared for.
