“Caroline shows a deep love for dogs, warm consideration and respectfulness and impeccable organisation and communication. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a deeply reliable person; who will made us feel at complete ease while we were away from our dog. Thank you Caroline!”

About: I used to work with a local dog walker/boarder and mixed with plenty of doggos during this time! I’ve also had dogs in my family since I was a child! A Dalmatian, Chihuahuas, Jack Russel x Chihuahua’s, and more recently a lovely Frenchie. However, I currently am unable to have a pet of my own due to the demands of my degree. I love animals, and you can be sure that your pet will be the centre of my attention whilst I am with them! I am a full-time mature BSc student in Brighton, which takes up about 3 days a week and I usually work 1 day at my job during term times. Due to these commitments, I am sadly unable to have a pet of my own. My flexibility will vary depending on my schedule, which from September, I should be aware of at least 5 weeks in advance. I will easily fit in time with your furry friends during these commitments, and maybe they can help me to study! I live in a ground floor flat with access to our own secure outdoor space, however, this is stones and decking but plenty of space for sniffing and roaming around, or lounging in the sun with me when we’re not out on a walk! A well-behaved dog will have access to all spaces, including my bedroom. We live a very short walk from plenty of local dog-friendly parks in Hove, and a little further is the beach! Please note that I am not comfortable with off-lead walks, happy to use long training leads, etc, unless in a very secure area. I want to keep your pet safe and secure the entire time!
“Luna has been an absolute star this week while we’ve been on holiday. Her walks with woody have been thought out and she’s taken him some amazing new places. Not the usual round the block or local park for Luna. Her thoughtfulness and going above and beyond have been a real breath of fresh air. Thanks again for everything Luna we won’t hesitate to book you again x”

About: I treat each pet as if they were my own, offering tailored attention and routines that match their unique needs and personality. My commitment is to ensure your pet feels loved and at home, even when you're away. I see pet caring as one of my hobbies and extra routines. I would be able to pet sit frequently during both weekdays and weekends. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to reduce any stress or anxiety. I follow your specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and any special care needs. I also provide companionship, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep pets happy while you're away.

About: I used to walk a small, elderly, terrier-cross a few times a week for a nearby neighbour for about 2 years. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs when they’ve been away on short holidays. The above experience is all I have, so I’d be better suited to looking after dogs that have relatively simple care needs (ie. don’t have behavioural issues / need a lot of specialist care). I’m taking some time off from my previous career in the insurance industry so I have plenty of free time at the moment - I have not set schedule ant the moment so can therefore be quite flexible. I live close to the Brighton and Hove boundary and 5 minutes away from the seaside / Hove Lawns, so plenty of nearby places to stretch our legs.
“Lisa was an awesome dog walker! She was super communicative, punctual and helped us out when we needed extra walking support. Buddy loved her, and we look forward to using her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since childhood and have spent many years helping care for dogs belonging to friends and family. Over the last 10+ years I’ve regularly helped with walking, feeding, company and general care, and I genuinely love being around animals. I work from home part of the week, which means I can offer dogs plenty of attention, companionship and regular walks throughout the day. I understand how important trust and reliability are when leaving your pet with someone, and I always aim to provide a calm, caring and safe environment where dogs feel comfortable and well looked after. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine closely and can provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, spending 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. My work-from-home days are flexible rather than fixed, which allows me to be accommodating where possible. I work Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, and can also offer some evening and weekend availability with advance notice. While I don’t have a garden, I live in a spacious and comfortable flat in Hove, just a 5-minute walk from Hove Lawns and the beach. This means your pet will still enjoy plenty of fresh air, exercise and lovely walks in a relaxed seaside setting. I always aim to provide a calm, caring and comfortable environment where pets feel safe and well looked after. I live in a spacious and comfortable flat in Hove, just a 5 minute walk from Hove Lawns and the beach, which is perfect for regular walks and fresh air. While I don’t have a garden, I make sure dogs still get plenty of exercise, attention and outdoor time in a safe and relaxed environment. I always aim to create a calm, clean and caring space where pets feel comfortable and secure. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine closely and provide regular updates and photos for reassurance while you’re away. As I work from home part of the week, pets in my care will receive plenty of company and supervision throughout the day.
About: Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable, and experienced pet sitter based in Hove. I offer dog walking, daycare, and home sitting, providing loving, safe, and personalised care for every dog I look after, and am also a huge cat lover and happy to cat sit too. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I always follow your routine closely, provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection, and send photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and safe. I live alone in a spacious two bedroom flat on the corner of Hove seafront so I’m lucky to live close to fantastic walking routes, including Hove Lawns, beach walks, and nearby parks, so your dog will get stimulating, varied walks every day. I also have a communal garden and plenty of green space out front. Safety, trust, and communication are my top priorities. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. I’d love to meet you and your pet! Feel free to message me anytime to arrange a free meet & greet! I work in animal protection from home and am available for pet sitting and dog walks most weekdays (throughout the day and evenings) and at the weekends. I live in an animal-friendly apartment block with its own private garden. Steps from the beach, Hove Lawns and green space right outside. Also a very quiet space with beach views.
“Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x”

“Annabel is fantastic with our Cocker Spaniel, he’s quite an anxious and excitable dog and she’s been really calm and taken her time in the house with him and building his trust. She’s very responsive and always sends photos and a summary of the visit. We’ve used Annabel multiple times and will continue to, she’s fantastic with dogs and very reliable”

“Laura took Eddy, our border terrier, for a walk to get to know him before he comes to stay with her in January. He’s a very lively and excitable dog but we could see straightaway that he was in safe, experienced hands and they had a very successful walk together. She’s also a lovely person and a very talented artist!”

“Bethany was so so lovely. She picked the dogs up on time and managed two big breeds and one very energetic border collie all on her own. We got some great pictures after the walk and our boys looked so happy. They came back and both went to bed!!”

About: I have large experience with both dogs and cats, having lived with both for many years from puppy and kitten ages to elderly pets! I have experience in administrating medicine and navigating pets being on different diets. We currently have 3 family pets all on separate dry food and have a complex Tupperware system going on! I am a trustworthy person, who will always prioritise the needs of animals and ensure clear communications with the owner to ensure needs and expectations are met. I work from home 3 days a week so can provide your pet with all the love and attention they deserve. I work a hybrid role on a flexible schedule where I choose my office days and hours so can provide your pet with attention throughout the day :) I live a 10 minute walk from two parks and love going on long walks! For your pet's well-being, and your peace of mind I only walk (or sit) pets from one household at a time. I am experienced in reading tells from animals and ensure clear communication with owners before starting to be aware of any specific needs or concerns around your pet. I am always careful to have a calming nature to reassure the pet.
“Luke was amazing with Mani! He was booked for a 30-minute walk but ended up spending over an hour with him. He sent lots of photos and updates, communication was great. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and other animals since I was very young, I’ve always been very good at connecting with them, which is why I went to Plumpton college to get my animal care diploma & my dog grooming qualification. Your animals will be very safe when they are with me, whether it be over night or just during the day. My passion is making sure all animals in my care are 100% happy and healthy. I have availability throughout the week, weekends & holidays. Please message if you have questions or would like to request care and I’ll get back to you asap. Animal welfare is extremely important to me so I do everything I can to make sure the animals in my care are happy, even if it means altering my own routine for them.
About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!

About: Hi there, we’re Lilac and Ariane. We are a young, enthusiastic couple who are reliable in animal care. Through having ownership of cats for the majority of our lives, including those with medical issues such as epilepsy, we have gained a myriad of skills which would be beneficial to our role as a carer for your pets. These include: resilience, patience and most importantly prioritising fun and safety. Neighbours, friends, and the general public have relied on us for years to walk, play, feed, and care for their dogs/cats, noting us as attentive and respectful carers, willing to solve specific needs that their pets might require. We’d love to meet your pets and provide them the best experience possible while their owner is unavailable! Currently, we work zero hour jobs allowing us an extensive amount of free time to dedicate to your pets. With a notice period of 3 days we can accommodate to your needs and make time for your animals. We prefer working within the hours of 7am-7pm but would be happy to make any changes if necessary! We don’t offer pet stays in our home currently. If temporarily using an owners home to care for their pets, we would ensure that we are aware of any potential dangers before being left alone with the animals in order to prioritise their safety. We intend to respect the space and maintain the environment as to not threaten the animals daily routines. We aim to build trust overtime, through a sense of familiarity, implementing calm direction and praise simultaneously.

Caroline was brilliant with Lima! She had a wonderful walk and she needs to feel very comfortable to go to the toilet but she did it on her first walk with Caroline! A miracle 😆 professional and very punctual, highly communicative! Recommend! I will definitely book with Caroline again and know that Lima is in safe hands :D

Alex was amazingly reassuring- we don’t have the need for a dog walker that often. It can feel quite daunting, especially when you have a ‘quirky dog’! However, things went well and we are really pleased that we have Alex on board!! Many thanks!!🙏🏼 Also, I must say, the most beautiful pics of a black dog (which can be challenging!)

Hannah and Ryan have done a fantastic job with our very anxious dog, Tia. She absolutely adores them already and gets so excited whenever she sees them. Tia is a reactive dog and can be very nervous and scared of a lot of things, but Hannah and Ryan handle her with patience, understanding, and confidence. They have taken the time to get to know her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Every time Tia comes back from a walk, she is happy, relaxed, and clearly has had a wonderful time. It's such a relief knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. We couldn't recommend Hannah and Ryan highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant dog sitter! Melissa kept me updated throughout with plenty of videos and even a video showing the property was locked up securely, which gave me complete piece of mind while I was away. She was available at short notice and I can’t recommend her more highly. Will definitely be booking again for baby Moose.

Really wonderful walker! She connected with Pepper, who is very shy and nervous around new people. Really really appreciate all her help, especially on a scorching hot bank holiday weekend when we had to be in London all day long. Sent us lots of pictures and even made sure Pepper's water bowl was full after the walk. Will definitely be booking with Balbina in the future!

Seeta took great care with my greyhound Kitty over several days when I was away. When she was caught in the rain she made dried her off and made sure she was comfortable after their walk. She is reliable and professional. She always sends photos and keeps me updated and reassured. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
