About: I've been a dedicated dog owner for over 15 years and understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and challenges. I have extensive hands-on experience with reactive and anxious dogs through caring for our rescue dog, Tia, who requires patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement to help her feel safe and confident. Whether your dog loves long adventures, gentle strolls, or simply needs someone who understands their boundaries, I provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. I currently work remotely from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the day. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, making it easy to provide reliable care that fits around your pet's routine. For dog walks, I prioritise safety at all times, using secure leads and choosing suitable walking routes based on your dog's temperament and confidence level. I'm experienced with reactive and nervous dogs and always take a calm, positive approach to help them feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I am used to taking care of friends pets(dogs, cats, rabbits) when they are away over the years! I love doing so. Especially because I live in rented accommodation, so can no longer have one of my own. I currently work part time. Tuesdays to Fridays 9-4:30. I have plenty of time to spend with your lovely fur babies and am so looking forward to. I like going to the beach/in nature for swims and walks! I am happy working with your personal boundaries when it comes to looking after your pet. I know everyone cares for their pets slightly differently and would love to experience that.
“Lisa was an awesome dog walker! She was super communicative, punctual and helped us out when we needed extra walking support. Buddy loved her, and we look forward to using her again!”

“Laura is absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for more! Amazing communication throughout the day, lots of photos and one happy dog. Laura went above and beyond for us and you can tell she really cares. We will definitely be booking Laura again :)”

“Annabel was so lovely and managed to help me last minute. The updates and photos were so lovely to receive and it was evident that my pup was happy and well looked after, I’ll definitely book again. Thank you so much!”

“Laura took Eddy, our border terrier, for a walk to get to know him before he comes to stay with her in January. He’s a very lively and excitable dog but we could see straightaway that he was in safe, experienced hands and they had a very successful walk together. She’s also a lovely person and a very talented artist!”

“Sophie has been amazing. Very responsive, giving us many updates and taking care of Otto extremely well. We are very happy to have had her taking care of Otto. Definitely will work together again.”

“Caroline shows a deep love for dogs, warm consideration and respectfulness and impeccable organisation and communication. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a deeply reliable person; who will made us feel at complete ease while we were away from our dog. Thank you Caroline!”

About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!
“Ting’s communication throughout the whole process was great, and she let me know how my older ( and slightly stubborn!) dog was on both her walks. She also walked in the direction Heidi wanted to go, which I thought was great!”

About: Hello, my name is Joey (he/him.) Taking care of animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, I've grown up around all sorts of little critters and have always had a keen interest in them. I have worked at various animal shelters since 12 years old, including a rescue sanctuary, reptile shop, kennel and cattery. For me, it doesn't feel like work because I am at my happiest around animals and enjoy their presence more than anything else! I am trained in administering medication and identifying problems in animals as I studied it at college and have a Level 2 Animal Management BTEC. I have experience with a wide range of dogs; all sizes, from puppy to senior. I also have comprehensive pet sitting and dog walking insurance. I really feel as if I understand animals and am very patient and intuitive with them. Currently, I own three cats named Winston, Eddie and Minnie, and two millipedes named Posy and Willow! I am extroverted and social and thoroughly enjoy meeting people and animals. If I had it my way, I'd be constantly surrounded by dogs! When an animal is in my care, they are my absolute top priority. Safety and attention are the most important things on my mind, along with a heap of cuddles! Your pet will absolutely be in safe hands with me. I'm currently unemployed, meaning I have a very flexible schedule and can nearly always make time for your pups. Weekdays are best for me, but I can absolutely sort out weekend care too if that's what you require! As I mentioned, safety is my main focus when caring for an animal. My attention will be on them at all times and I will ensure they aren't ever left to their own devices. I listen and learn very quickly upon instructions and will make note of any spots your little monster likes to destroy/escape through! I also understand that different dogs require different dietary plans and even medication and will not forget or wrongfully administer it.
“Bethany was so so lovely. She picked the dogs up on time and managed two big breeds and one very energetic border collie all on her own. We got some great pictures after the walk and our boys looked so happy. They came back and both went to bed!!”

“Eleanor was fantastic with our cocker spaniel, Alfie. He can be quite anxious but he warmed to her straight away. Her communication was great, sharing photos and updates, and she took Alfie on a lovely walk. Will definitely be booking with Eleanor again. Thank you!”

Luna has been an absolute star this week while we’ve been on holiday. Her walks with woody have been thought out and she’s taken him some amazing new places. Not the usual round the block or local park for Luna. Her thoughtfulness and going above and beyond have been a real breath of fresh air. Thanks again for everything Luna we won’t hesitate to book you again x

Caroline was brilliant with Lima! She had a wonderful walk and she needs to feel very comfortable to go to the toilet but she did it on her first walk with Caroline! A miracle 😆 professional and very punctual, highly communicative! Recommend! I will definitely book with Caroline again and know that Lima is in safe hands :D

Alex was amazingly reassuring- we don’t have the need for a dog walker that often. It can feel quite daunting, especially when you have a ‘quirky dog’! However, things went well and we are really pleased that we have Alex on board!! Many thanks!!🙏🏼 Also, I must say, the most beautiful pics of a black dog (which can be challenging!)

Hannah and Ryan have done a fantastic job with our very anxious dog, Tia. She absolutely adores them already and gets so excited whenever she sees them. Tia is a reactive dog and can be very nervous and scared of a lot of things, but Hannah and Ryan handle her with patience, understanding, and confidence. They have taken the time to get to know her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Every time Tia comes back from a walk, she is happy, relaxed, and clearly has had a wonderful time. It's such a relief knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. We couldn't recommend Hannah and Ryan highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant dog sitter! Melissa kept me updated throughout with plenty of videos and even a video showing the property was locked up securely, which gave me complete piece of mind while I was away. She was available at short notice and I can’t recommend her more highly. Will definitely be booking again for baby Moose.

Really wonderful walker! She connected with Pepper, who is very shy and nervous around new people. Really really appreciate all her help, especially on a scorching hot bank holiday weekend when we had to be in London all day long. Sent us lots of pictures and even made sure Pepper's water bowl was full after the walk. Will definitely be booking with Balbina in the future!

Seeta took great care with my greyhound Kitty over several days when I was away. When she was caught in the rain she made dried her off and made sure she was comfortable after their walk. She is reliable and professional. She always sends photos and keeps me updated and reassured. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x
