About: Hello! Welcome to my page - I’d love to have the honour of looking after your precious pup. My background: I don’t have a dog myself at the moment but have in the past. I’ve spent 6 years walking dogs in my neighbourhood - whether drop ins, walks or daycare, I’ve taken care of many small to large sized pooches. I’ve also got experience caring for young puppies if you need a break from the intense job of raising them...I don't mind the odd toilet accident either! My residence: I live in a lower ground floor flat with private enclosed garden. I allow dogs on couches and beds...pretty much everywhere! Because it’s a flat, I tend to only take small to medium dogs for daycare, as I think having enough space for them is important. I’m based in central Hove, near the station. Key info: I only walk/care for one dog at a time as am conscious that many dogs don’t thrive in a large group environment…plus it means each dog gets all my attention. I like to always arrange a brief meet and greet before taking on a new dog. I have, however, made exceptions for this in the past to help someone out last minute, so happy to discuss! I guarantee a selection of photos and/or videos will be sent to you throughout the day - both via text and via the Rover Card feature. Just drop me a message with any questions. Caroline I WFH 3 days a week so your little pal would be given lots of cuddles and playtime inside, as well as at least two walks outside - dependant upon your requirements of course. I allow dogs on furniture and beds so just let me know if that’s something I need to prevent for your pooch. I will require a list from pup parents regarding care required, any rules to be observed and medication to be given. This ensures we are in agreement and eliminates risk for both parties.
About: A couple with over 12 shared years of personal dog/cat ownership and care. As we work in the week we are looking to care for your pet overnight Fridays and Saturdays. Since I will be caring for your pet alongside my partner, George, there will be 2 sets of eyes on any pets and they don’t have to spend any time without supervision if needed. My partner has experience with older and sick dogs and will be sharing all pet care responsibilities equally with me, so your pet is in 2 very safe hands. We live 1 minute walking access to Hove seafront, which makes for the best walks, and also close proximity to multiple dog friendly parks. Since we have car access, we are also able to take your dog on walks in surrounding areas If desired. Comfy overnight stays available and ready to go, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Myself and my boyfriend are two working individuals renting in hove. Whilst unfortunately we are unable to own a dog full time (due to work) we would love to get the experience of dog ownership by caring for your lil pup overnight and spoiling them rotten ! We are looking to offer overnight dog stays for small/medium sized doggies. We can offer walks, as many toilet breaks as needed, outdoor trips as we drive and lots of engaging play time. We are also able to collect dogs from Hove/Brighton as we drive. We are super excited about the idea of cuddling up on the sofa with your dog and letting them choose the movie 🎥 Happy for dogs to sleep in our room/bed also if that’s what your dog prefers.
“Irina is a natural dog walker. Arthur is a bull terrier - very strong and playful. He needs firm control and boundary setting. Irina has complete control, but he also enjoys his walks with her. Highly recommended.”

“Thank you Kei for looking after Billy and continuing the crate training, I’m so pleased you can see the progress. Billy was very chilled when I came home, he must have had a good time on his walk. I highly recommend Kei, he is a natural with dogs.”

“Risa was polite and punctual for our walking appointment, and is clearly comfortable with dogs. She was patient and attentive throughout the walk, adapting herself to Pippa's pace and idiosyncrasies. Thank you for your help today Risa!”

“Emma walks my dog Rozi each day, she is super reliable & responsive. Rozi has been experiencing separation anxiety and Emma has been really helpful at following steps to support Rozi when she arrives & leaves. Rozi also isn’t very good with other dogs & Emma tailors walks to suit her. I always get updates and I’m so happy that Rozi has such a great person looking after her each day on her walk!”

About: Hi, I’m Jade! A lifelong animal lover and I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life. Caring for cats is my specialty; I understand that they all have their own personalities and I always make sure their needs are met. I’m also a big dog lover and have experience in caring for all kinds from an elderly chihuahua to bouncy young labs! I’m also very knowledgeable about small pets such as mice, hamsters, rats, rabbits; I even had chinchillas when I was a kid! I understand that different animals have different needs and I adapt my care to meet them. l’m a very active person, I walk at least twice a day rain or shine, and it will be a joy to have a companion on my walks! I will always adapt a walk to your dogs age and personality, and make sure I take things like hot weather into account - safety first!! I have a nervous cat of my own so I can’t board your pets at my home, but I can stay overnight at your house if needed. I also work from home so can easily bring my laptop to work at your house if your pet needs some company while you’re out for the day. I can also pop in for daily feedings/walks if needed.
About: About Us Hi! We’re Amy & Oj - caring for Dachsunds is part of our everyday life. We both work part time, giving us plenty of time, space, and attention to give your dog the love and care they deserve when they are with us. With over 11 years of experience raising our much-loved Miniature Dachshund, Pip, we know and understand the unique needs of the breed. We've also completed the Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme, achieving Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, giving us a strong foundation in training, safety, and breed-specific care. About Pip Pip is our beautiful 11-year-old Miniature Dachshund and the heart of our home. She adores cuddles, strolls on the seafront, pub visits (mostly for the attention!), and snuggling on the sofa. She's a typical sausage -the occasional bark, but mostly laid-back and snoozy. Because Pip is now a senior girl, we’re not able to accommodate puppies, as much as we love them - so that her environment remains calm and comfortable. Our Home Our home is quiet, calm, and dachshund-friendly. Dogs here are treated like family, that means lots of sofa cuddles. We live right on Hove seafront, perfect for gentle walks along the promenade and Hove Lawns. We also love short countryside walks and often head out in the car to explore the Sussex scenery with Pip. We live in a step-free property (no stairs inside) making it extra safe for dachshunds and small breeds. Safety First! We are experienced in handling dachshunds safely and gently. We both work part time so on the days we are not working we are able to dedicate ourselves to looking after your beloved dog. All dogs in our care are: Carried & lifted properly to support their backs Lifted on and off furniture (no jumping allowed!) Never left on the sofa unattended Supervised at all times in a dachshund-safe space We take their safety as seriously as we do Pip’s. Walks We only walk dogs on-lead — always. That’s our promise. From relaxing seafront strolls to short countryside adventures, your dog will get plenty of fresh air and stimulation, always at a pace and distance that suits their needs and energy levels.
“Leona and John were great! This was the first time we’d left our rehomed dogs in the 10 months we’ve had them, so we were a little nervous. Leona responded quickly to our request and chatted briefly online before arranging to pop over a few hours later to meet us all, with the dog walk planned the next day. We were pleased to find her so accommodating at short notice. The dogs warmed to her instantly and we felt really comfortable. Leona suggested taking them on a little walk that evening to show them it was OK. We messaged a few times before the walk and received videos and photos and feedback during the day and we came home to find them happy and fed and watered. We hope to use Leona and John next time - Thank You!”

“Laura took Eddy, our border terrier, for a walk to get to know him before he comes to stay with her in January. He’s a very lively and excitable dog but we could see straightaway that he was in safe, experienced hands and they had a very successful walk together. She’s also a lovely person and a very talented artist!”

“Feel so lucky to have Annabel looking after our dog Ziggy. Not just extremely prompt, reliable and flexible, but so, so good with him, totally totally trustworthy. Ziggy loves seeing her for his walks!”

“Emily was great with Alfie, he’s a nervous dog with lots of energy, and Emily was very patient with him and worked on building his trust. Communication was great and I would definitely book again, and recommend Emily 😊”

“Lisa was an awesome dog walker! She was super communicative, punctual and helped us out when we needed extra walking support. Buddy loved her, and we look forward to using her again!”

About: Hi, my name is Azar 🙂 I have spent my whole life around dogs and grew up with lots of different breeds. I used to work in a veterinary practice, so I am very comfortable with everyday care, giving medication, and keeping an eye on how a dog is feeling. I am now a student and work entirely from home, so I can be flexible and present for the dogs I look after. I have my own dog, Sesame, a very sweet little Cavapoo who loves having company. Sesame is happiest with gentle, calm dogs who know how to interact with other dogs, so I am a good fit for friendly dogs who enjoy a relaxed home environment. Because of her, and because I like to give each dog proper attention, I only look after one dog at a time. This way Sesame and your dog both get the space, care, and affection they need. If your dog stays with me, they will be treated as part of the family, with walks, play, cuddles, and regular updates so you can relax while you are away. I am available weekdays, weekends and for longer periods of time. As long as I have a bit of notice, I will always be flexible. I have a small secure garden and I am always cautious about what the dogs in my care have access to. Dogs are allowed in every room and I always treat every furry friend as one of the family. When we meet, I will need to make sure your dog gets on well with mine to make sure it is safe for the two of them.
“I don’t know who’s more jn love with Kiki. Me or the pups. They had so so much fun they didn’t want her to leave, I didn’t either and now even I want to go walkies with her! We’re keeping her so if you want her too you may have to share!”

“Amazing person and a very professional walker. We have a large and very energetic dog but he get used to him very quickly. He always showed up on time, informed us about every walk and was very kind to our dog.”

“Ting’s communication throughout the whole process was great, and she let me know how my older ( and slightly stubborn!) dog was on both her walks. She also walked in the direction Heidi wanted to go, which I thought was great!”

“Luke was amazing with Mani! He was booked for a 30-minute walk but ended up spending over an hour with him. He sent lots of photos and updates, communication was great. Highly recommend!”

Hove dog owners share their Rover experiences
If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Katherine took time to come and meet my two, she connected well with them both and over the 3 days that she walked them they grew more confident with her. This is the first time I've used a dog walker outside of my friend's and family group and I'm so pleased I found Katherine. I will be using her again and would recommend her services

Annabelle did a brilliant job looking after our little girl Connie, we were sent lovely photos of the two of them having a good time along with a couple of texts to let us know how she was getting on. Annabelle was prompt, kind and you can tell she really has a passion for animals, 100% would recommend and will be booking her again!

Kei has been exceptional. It’s our first time leaving Albert and having him walked by someone we do not know. We met Kei the day before we went away and instantly felt at ease. Kei has an amazing way with dogs and they take to him straight away. Even our older dog who does not usually like new people. We can not recommended Kei enough he is such a nice guy and we are very grateful for him taking such good care of Albert on his walks ☺️

Ludmila was wonderful with my dog, Callie! She was incredibly friendly and immediately put Callie at ease. Her communication was consistently clear and timely, and she was very accommodating with scheduling. I felt completely comfortable knowing Callie was in great hands. Highly recommend!

Emma walks my dog Rozi each day, she is super reliable & responsive. Rozi has been experiencing separation anxiety and Emma has been really helpful at following steps to support Rozi when she arrives & leaves. Eleanor was fantastic with our cocker spaniel, Alfie. He can be quite anxious but he warmed to her straight away. Her communication was great, sharing photos and updates, and she took Alfie on a lovely walk. Will definitely be booking with Eleanor again. Thank you!
