“Feel so lucky to have Annabel looking after our dog Ziggy. Not just extremely prompt, reliable and flexible, but so, so good with him, totally totally trustworthy. Ziggy loves seeing her for his walks!”

About: I've been a dedicated dog owner for over 15 years and understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and challenges. I have extensive hands-on experience with reactive and anxious dogs through caring for our rescue dog, Tia, who requires patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement to help her feel safe and confident. Whether your dog loves long adventures, gentle strolls, or simply needs someone who understands their boundaries, I provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. I currently work remotely from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the day. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, making it easy to provide reliable care that fits around your pet's routine. For dog walks, I prioritise safety at all times, using secure leads and choosing suitable walking routes based on your dog's temperament and confidence level. I'm experienced with reactive and nervous dogs and always take a calm, positive approach to help them feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Caroline shows a deep love for dogs, warm consideration and respectfulness and impeccable organisation and communication. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a deeply reliable person; who will made us feel at complete ease while we were away from our dog. Thank you Caroline!”

About: I've grown up around pets, and have experience with both cats & dogs. I owned a Burmese cat (Tia) for 14 years, and my Cocker Spaniel (Willa), who I trained over four years including ongoing behavioural training. I also often look after friends and family's pets, and treat them all as if they were my own :) I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so am able to adapt to each pets needs. I make sure to provide lots of cuddles and activities too! I live in a pet friendly building, right near Hove Park, so ensure to take several walks out daily but often also drive to larger spaces like Waterhall or the Dyke.
“Lisa was an awesome dog walker! She was super communicative, punctual and helped us out when we needed extra walking support. Buddy loved her, and we look forward to using her again!”

About: I am 23 years old and living in Hove. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I have grown up caring for three dogs, two cats, chickens, ducks, and a tortoise. Alongside this personal experience, I have also gained over 2 years of professional pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, and house sitting. I am confident caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, and nervous or reactive dogs who may need extra patience and understanding. I can drive, and am happy to tailor walks and care routines to suit your pet's individual needs. Above all, I aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners complete peace of mind when they're away. Having recently graduated, I currently have a very flexible schedule and am fully available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, during work hours, and late evenings. I have experience caring for nervous and reactive dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and respecting your pet's boundaries. During walks and drop-in visits I will stick to your pet's usual routine and any specific instructions provided, including feeding requirements, medication, training preferences, or behavioural needs.
“Luna came to pick Cynthia up and had a lovely walk, Cynthia is having a very good rest after her fun walk! Thank you Luna! Highly recommend, excellent service and professional :)”

“Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. He was very relaxed and well behaved with Ling, she had great control, care and came fully prepared to give him a fun walking experience! Thanks you so much Ting, we really appreciate your time and the walkies :) Lisa & Vin x”

About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!

“Laura is absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for more! Amazing communication throughout the day, lots of photos and one happy dog. Laura went above and beyond for us and you can tell she really cares. We will definitely be booking Laura again :)”

“Emily was great with Alfie, he’s a nervous dog with lots of energy, and Emily was very patient with him and worked on building his trust. Communication was great and I would definitely book again, and recommend Emily 😊”

“I don’t know who’s more jn love with Kiki. Me or the pups. They had so so much fun they didn’t want her to leave, I didn’t either and now even I want to go walkies with her! We’re keeping her so if you want her too you may have to share!”

About: I've been passionate about caring for animals since childhood, growing up with both a Labrador and a rescue cat. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience looking after a wide range of dogs and cats, not only in my own home but also for pet owners in London and Brighton. This experience has taught me how to handle pets with different personalities and needs, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s playful walks, feeding routines, or giving lots of cuddles, I always treat every animal as if they were my own. As a PhD student with the freedom to set my own hours and work from home, I can tailor my schedule to fit your pet’s needs—whether that means midday cuddles, evening walks, or even staying overnight in your home. My flexible lifestyle means your pets get dedicated, reliable company whenever you need it. When caring for pets I try to create a safe and stressfree environment where they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I make sure to stick closely to their usual routines—feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet moments—so they experience as little disruption as possible. and I keep owners updated with photos and messages.
About: I grew up with a dog in the household, and have learnt to love dogs and take care of them from a very young age. I would love to have one of my own, but cannot afford to do so as of right now. Thus, I am looking forward to taking care of your dog when your life prevents you to do so. I will entertain them by playing together, walk around South-East London for as long as they need, and overall care for them at the best of my abilities. I can assure you I am very responsible and caring, and if I commit to take care of your dog I will do the best I can to have them enjoy their time spent with me. I work full time in a remote job, with standard office hours, so I can be flexible regarding where I work as long as there’s an internet connection up until 5pm. Making sure the pet is comfortable in the environment, with the necessary food and drink at its disposal, would be my number one priority. Also petting and/or entertaining the pet regularly with play to make them feel cared for and loved.

Alex was amazingly reassuring- we don’t have the need for a dog walker that often. It can feel quite daunting, especially when you have a ‘quirky dog’! However, things went well and we are really pleased that we have Alex on board!! Many thanks!!🙏🏼 Also, I must say, the most beautiful pics of a black dog (which can be challenging!)

Hannah and Ryan have done a fantastic job with our very anxious dog, Tia. She absolutely adores them already and gets so excited whenever she sees them. Tia is a reactive dog and can be very nervous and scared of a lot of things, but Hannah and Ryan handle her with patience, understanding, and confidence. They have taken the time to get to know her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Every time Tia comes back from a walk, she is happy, relaxed, and clearly has had a wonderful time. It's such a relief knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. We couldn't recommend Hannah and Ryan highly enough!

Caroline shows a deep love for dogs, warm consideration and respectfulness and impeccable organisation and communication. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a deeply reliable person; who will made us feel at complete ease while we were away from our dog. Thank you Caroline!

Absolutely brilliant dog sitter! Melissa kept me updated throughout with plenty of videos and even a video showing the property was locked up securely, which gave me complete piece of mind while I was away. She was available at short notice and I can’t recommend her more highly. Will definitely be booking again for baby Moose.

Really wonderful walker! She connected with Pepper, who is very shy and nervous around new people. Really really appreciate all her help, especially on a scorching hot bank holiday weekend when we had to be in London all day long. Sent us lots of pictures and even made sure Pepper's water bowl was full after the walk. Will definitely be booking with Balbina in the future!

Seeta took great care with my greyhound Kitty over several days when I was away. When she was caught in the rain she made dried her off and made sure she was comfortable after their walk. She is reliable and professional. She always sends photos and keeps me updated and reassured. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Ting was my very first sitter with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Vinnie and introduce me to how fab Rover is. Ting understands the needs of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She knew immediately how to look after a teenager big dog like Vinnie. Risa was lovely and very communicative. I trusted her instantly and felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care and my dog absolutely adored her! Risa gave regular ‘pupdates’ throughout the walk and left me reassured that my dog was well taken care of. I highly recommend!
