About: I’ve always had a deep love for all animals and have many years experience with cats and dogs. With a variety of breeds and ages. Count me and my husband James as reliable and trustworthy people who would love to be a part of your furry friends life. I understand all animals are unique and I take the time to learn them and stick to routine they need. I have a lovely big fenced garden for them to enjoy when staying with me and live right by a walking path to enjoy walks often. Your pet will feel right at home with me when staying at mine. I work part time as radiographer in NHS, but make sure I have the time to give your animal the attention they need. I set my schedule to work around your needs and only put availability when I’m not working. I have a fenced garden which is large and plenty of space to play and roam around. I make sure they feel at home at all times

About: I’ve always loved animals, and have cared for many. This includes volunteering at animal shelters, dog walking for friends & family whilst they were working, looking after friends pets whilst they were away on holiday, and taking in animals who needed a place to stay for a period of time whilst I lived in Thailand. I’m currently flexible because I have not started a full time job yet. This means that I am currently completely available. Although in the future I may begin another job which I will update. I have experience pet sitting for others. Able to take care of your space as well as your animals, including garden / plant watering, as well as maintaining a tidy space for your return.
“Tasha has been great at supporting with dog walks when I’ve had to go on a last minute trip to London with work. She is good with my boxer and trust worthy. I’d recommend!”

“Big Thank You Hugs to Freya for giving Max wonderful hour of adventure today 💛 Freya came to collect Maxie straight after she'd finished work, which meant a lot to me and I'm so thankful for it 💖 We haven't seen our Freya for a few weeks and Maxie was all over her when he saw she was back. It was so touching and heartwarming to see Max's tail wag at top speed as he kissed Freya to the floor! It was then really funny to peep out of the window and see Freya being taken for a run up the road by an excited Max! Freya must've decided it was her turn to take control, as she later drove Max to the big Hampden Park. I was very pleased to hear that Max is more relaxed in Freya's car, now, as he's previously expressed anxiety. He has another lovely lady who sometimes takes Max out in her car, so between thes”

About: Hi, I am a mature student looking for pet-sitting jobs. I work in healthcare and have a DBS certificate. I had three rabbits called Theadora, Claude, and Justinian. Thea lived to 12 years old, which is a good age for a rabbit. I had a border terrier called Ruby. I also had a cat at university that was imaginatively called Cat. I look after my neighbour's cats while they are away, and I also had my friend's Chocolate Labrador called Oscar live with me for several weeks while they had housing difficulties. I love walking outdoors and spending time with pets. I am currently working part-time on a Friday. I am starting university in September, and I will be required to attend class every other Wednesday; apart from that, I am a free agent. I have a fenced garden with a very high wooden fence. I own my house, and I live alone. At the moment, I have no pets. My 11-year-old daughter stays with me at weekends.
“Darcy was amazing with atlas and over was so sweet! Atlas absolutely loved his walk with Darcy and was so tired after!! She sent little update messages on how he was the whole time! Couldn’t have picked a better person for my first time using rover! Definitely would recommend :)))”

About: “Sniff, Explore, Exercise — Walks Tailored to Your Dog’s World.” Follow Their Nose Dog Walking I’ve spent 22 years caring for my own dogs, from raising my first boy from an eight‑week‑old puppy to supporting him through heart problems and dementia until he passed peacefully at 17. My second dog Marvin was diagnosed with a liver shunt and complex health needs two years ago and I have cared for him during his surgery and healing, teaching me the importance of patience, gentle enrichment, and adapting walks to suit a dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing. These experiences shaped my passion for supporting senior dogs, nervous dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs who have experienced trauma. I understand how much they benefit from calm handling, predictable routines, and walks that allow them to feel safe and in control. I’ve also volunteered at Raystede Animal Welfare centre, which strengthened my commitment to compassionate, ethical care and deepened my understanding of how different dogs communicate stress, curiosity, and comfort. My Approach I’m happy to walk all dogs, including those who simply need a good exercise walk. But my specialist focus is enrichment‑led sniff walks, backed by research showing that sniffing reduces stress, boosts confidence, and provides powerful mental and physical stimulation. Every walk is tailored to the dog in front of me, whether they need a brisk stretch, a slow confidence‑building sniffari adventure, or a gentle senior‑friendly outing. What I Offer A calm, patient, understanding approach Experience with senior, anxious, reactive, and medically complex dogs Exercise walks for all breeds and energy levels Specialist sniff walks that support emotional wellbeing Walks designed around enrichment, exploration, and choice Follow Their Nose Dog Walking is built on one belief: Dogs thrive when we let them be dogs—sniffing, exploring, and experiencing the world at their own pace. Caring is at the heart of everything I do. I work Monday to Thursday for an older people’s charity, so empathy, patience and support are already part of my daily life. Pet care naturally fits alongside this — it’s something I genuinely love, not something I squeeze in. I offer dog walking 6.30pm–10pm Monday to Thursday, which is perfect for owners who work late, need evening support, or want their dog to have a calming enrichment walk before bedtime. I’m also fully available all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving clients plenty of flexibility for regular walks, weekend adventures, or last‑minute bookings. My own 22 years of caring for dogs with complex needs has shaped how I work: calmly, gently and with a deep understanding of senior dogs, nervous dogs and those who need a little extra patience. Whether it’s an energetic dog needing exercise or a sensitive dog needing a slow, sniff‑led walk, I build my routine around what helps them feel safe, stimulated and happy. Pet care isn’t an add‑on to my week — it’s a natural extension of who I am and the work I’ve always done: supporting others with compassion and consistency. I prioritise safety, calm handling and consistency in every service I offer. For dog walking, I use secure equipment, choose safe routes and tailor the pace to each dog’s needs whether that’s a brisk exercise walk or a gentle, enrichment‑led sniff walk. For pet sitting in an owner’s home, I follow the dog’s usual routine to keep them settled and stress‑free, treating both the home and the pet with the same care I give my own. My friendly Jack Russell can also join walks if a dog would benefit from a confident, sociable companion always optional and based on what suits each individual dog.
About: I love all animals, especially dogs! I grew up with many dogs in the family, and have often been relied upon by friends and family to walk their dogs, or look after their pets whilst they're away. I would love a pet of my own one day, but I'm waiting to settle in my own home first. I wanted to be a dog-walker when I was younger, but pursued a career in healthcare instead, and now I'm starting this for the joy of animal's company! I'm currently working part-time, whilst setting up my own business. I work from home, and set my own schedule, so I am very flexible in terms of availability. I live in a rented house with an enclosed fenced garden, and secure lockable gate. I'm not currently offering pet sitting at my home, but happy to care for your pets in your home, as per your usual routine.
About: Hi! Here’s a little about me- I grew up with dogs (cocker spaniels & boarder collies) and then I got my beloved Chase, a Finnish Lapphund, when she was just 8 weeks old, up until the age of nearly 15. I have looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs over the years and so not only do I have experience looking after dogs of all ages/ stages of their life, I also understand the bond and love that there is between a dog and its owner. My home is perfectly set up for a dog- gates are in place, beds, food & water bowls, anti-slip carpets for senior dogs whose paws are less stable, etc. The walled garden is secure and there is a convenient park just down the road too. I know how difficult it is to find somewhere that offers complete peace of mind, which is why I would like to offer a home from home for your dog(s), by providing a loving and reliable service for those who benefit and thrive so much more from being in a warm and welcoming household with 1-1 attention. I’m a teacher and therefore I will be able to help during school holidays in particular, as well as weekends. I am also available most Thursday afternoons from 1pm onwards. I have a walled garden and plenty of space for your dog to roam around. I don’t mind them sitting on the sofa (unless you have taught them not to!) and I can easily accommodate a crate should you want your dog to sleep in one rather than on a dog bed. I will typically walk your dog twice daily unless stated otherwise- I will always cater to your dog’s needs.
About: I was lucky to grow up with dogs around me, I would walk my grandma's and my neighbour's dog on a weekly basis. I recently volunteered at a dog shelter in Shoreham where I got to walk, train and take care of many dogs, it was an amazing experience and further confirmed my love for them. I always bring water, snacks and toys for my walks! I have recently moved to Eastbourne and renovating a house so I am very flexible with my availabilities. I am available most days and can build your dog's regular walks and playtimes in my schedule for consistency. I have a lot of experience in dog walking and have accumulated a lot of knowledge from my experience at Dogs Trust Shelter in Shoreham.
“Morgan was so good to my dogs. She met us at our flat a few days before the walk so our dogs could get use to her, she was on time and took the best pictures. Will definitely look to her again in the future”

I cover Willingdon, Hampden Park, Old Town, Upperton, Meads & East Dean areas. Walk times are 9am, 11am & 1pm. Before any walks, I offer a free meet & greet so you and your pet can meet me and we can discuss your needs. Please note, I can only look after sociable dogs who enjoy the company of others, & who are over 1 year old. Please reach out with what you are looking for before booking, as to avoid any disappointment. If you are looking for regular walks then just click one date on the Rover calendar & add in the notes what you are looking for. Many Thanks, Liz Generally my walks take place Monday to Friday but I am on occasion able to offer weekend walks. Walk times are 9am, 11am & 1pm. Whether you need me every day, or just once a week, I’m here to accommodate for you & your dog. All walks take place in risk assessed areas, away from roads and livestock. My specially fitted, air conditioned van ensures your dog will be transported safely.

“This was my first experience of using Rover and I was impressed by the selection and booking process. There was excellent communication with Abi before and after their walk. It was lovely to receive updates and photos of Rosie. I will definitely be using Abi again.”

About: Since childhood animals have been a big parts of my life. Growing up with dogs, cats, and a few others you’d find on a pet bingo card. I understand that they are not just pets, they are part of the family and that it can be an anxious time leaving your pet with someone new which is why dog sitting your pet in its own is important for the comfort and safety. I have been part of our dog’s training program, even as a very small child. As a family we have fostered and helped prepare dogs for rehoming. I love being out doors and going for long walks regardless of the weather. I am available for pet sitting weekday evenings/overnight after 5:30pm or weekends, from 5:30pm on a Friday until 8:00am Monday. I work full time during the week so will need to leave by 8am the following day if weekday, overnight sitting is required. Let me know your house rules and I will fit into your pets daily routine. I will make it like part of my family. Depending on the size of the dog and its physical ability, your pet will come out with me in the day and we will relax at home during the evening.
“Having some mobility issues I needed my Cavalier walked for a few weeks Alice has been great. She messages when she’s coming is on time and has been very careful of Bobby, moving times to cooler periods on hot days. Most importantly Bobby has fallen in love with her. I would happily recommend her.”

“Kerry walked Max twice last week. Max really enjoyed his long neighbourhood walk, and came home joyful as ever. It was lovely to hear from Kerry how much better Max is very on around other dogs and how well he walks, pulling less, etc. Max's second walk with Kerry was on a sunny day down the Harbour. I really appreciate how Kerry goes out of her way to take Maxie to different environments to stimulate his senses. Every walk is an adventure with Kerry. No wonder Max is always ready for a snooze when he comes home! 😊 Thank you so much, Kerry! 💙💛”
About: I have looked after animals all my life, have housed multiple cats, I will also be caring with my partner who is also an animal lover, shes a dog lover and I'm a cat lover. I have DBS and previously SC cleared as per my jobs requirements, so you can be rest assured your house and pet will receive the best love and attention. Afternoons and Evenings would be best. Happy to stay in homes when you're away and care for your pet. Weekends are always best but my schedule can be freed up for walks, I can house sit 7 days a week and for as long as you need. I am always attentive to my cat and the needs of other pets, sadly I recently had my cat become quite unwell quite quickly and I rushed him to the vet as I wanted him to have immediate care as keeping him healthy is very important to me.
