About: I have been caring for pets for more than 10 years and grew up with dogs, cats and even tortoises of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. More recently, I spent two years house and pet sitting full-time through TrustedHousesitters, caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels and routines. During that time, I earned more than 40 five-star reviews from pet owners. What sets me apart is the amount of time and attention I can give each dog. I work remotely from home and keep boarding intentionally small-scale, usually caring for dogs from just one household at a time. This allows me to follow their normal routine closely and help them feel settled, rather than treating their stay like a busy kennel or daycare environment. I am patient, calm and confident following detailed care instructions. With younger dogs, I can reinforce the training and boundaries you already use at home, including toilet routines, lead manners, settling calmly and rewarding positive behaviour. I am not a professional dog trainer, but I understand the importance of consistency, particularly when a puppy or young dog is adjusting to a new environment. I am also comfortable adapting care for older dogs, including gentler or shorter walks, more frequent toilet breaks, medication schedules and plenty of quiet time to rest. I understand that senior dogs can be especially attached to familiar routines, so I will take the time to learn what makes your dog feel safe and comfortable. Above all, I am reliable, organised and communicative. I will treat your dog as an individual, follow your instructions carefully and send regular photographs and updates throughout their stay. I work remotely from home, so pet care fits easily into my normal routine. I can provide regular toilet breaks, company and attention throughout the day, with walks before work, during my lunch break and again in the afternoon or evening, depending on your dog’s usual schedule. I also have a small garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time and regular toilet breaks. We live just a five-minute walk from beautiful Alexandra Park, which is ideal for daily walks, sniffing and exploring. My working hours are generally earlier in the day, leaving plenty of time for longer walks, play and relaxed time together later on. At weekends, I have more flexibility for longer outings and can adapt my plans around the pets staying with me. I keep boarding small-scale and usually care for pets from one household at a time, so I can follow their normal feeding, walking and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I will always ask how long your pet is comfortable being left alone and make sure their stay suits their individual needs. I aim to create a calm, comfortable environment where every pet can settle at their own pace. I usually care for pets from one household at a time, allowing me to give them plenty of individual attention and maintain a peaceful home. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, medication and sleeping routines. Dogs are supervised in the garden, kept on lead unless otherwise agreed, and never left alone for longer than they are comfortable with. Before a first booking, I arrange a meet and greet so we can discuss your pet’s personality, habits and any health, behavioural or safety needs. I will also ask about recall, reactivity, separation anxiety and how they behave around unfamiliar dogs and people. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat both the animals and the property with respect. I keep to their usual routine, leave the home clean and secure, and send regular photos and updates so owners can feel confident that everything is going well.

About: I’m an highly experienced pet/house sitter, having looked after everything from blind toy poodles to escape artist hamsters in their homes - including managing baths, medication and vet visits. ** I don't work, so am fully attentive to your dog's needs and routines ** Only take one client at a time ** Walled garden, with access to large park-like communal garden ** I like to take dogs on outings and do fun things, which I'll send you lots of photos of (See my reviews) ** I'm particularly good with dogs that need to build their confidence and be gently supported to do things they might normally be wary of. I grew up with beautiful energetic dogs and affectionate cats, and adore spending time with animals. I have a slew of friends’ dogs for who I’m the go-to person for overnight stays and walks, and like to get close to the pets I look after. (Although it makes saying goodbye extra hard 😢) I’ll always follow your instructions for your pet to the letter (but will have a sweet spot for dogs that are allowed cuddles with me on the sofa and can sleep on my bed 🙂) I am currently not working and so can be very attentive to your pet. I am very flexible about timings (pick ups, drop offs, arrivals), walking times and duration of care. I have a car (although it has a closed boot so can only carry dogs on the back seat) I like pet sitting in the animal’s own home as it puts them at ease and smooths the discomfort that can come from being looked after by a new person If you prefer them at my place, my basement flat has a very safe walled garden, but I also have access to a beautiful park-like communal garden, and the park and seafront are 5 mins from my flat.

Since moving to my own home with a fenced garden, now I want to make it official. I work from home most days and my schedule is up to date. I’m reliable and will always respond quickly. It’s important to me you know your pet is safe, loved, and cared for. Just as they would be with you. I’ll send you photos of how we’re getting on for your reassurance. I work from home most of the time. I like to get out for a walk in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. But I can flex this depending on what your dog needs. I update my schedule regularly to make sure you know when I’m free. I’m available for day time visits during my lunch break at your house too. Your dog will be an only child at my house! I have a fenced garden and live near to a country park for long walks, and near the seafront for shorter (or longer!) ones. I've looked after many family and friends pooches too so I have lots of experience caring, loving and entertaining dogs (I’m not shy of some rough playtime or a snuggle on the sofa!!) About: I grew up with a passion of wanting to work with animals as a veterinary nurse, volunteering at local vets and animal rescues as a teenager. I'm now an NHS professional, with a love for animals still wanting to do something on the side of my full-time job. I grew up with a cat and dogs and other furry critters, have owned my own since including my little scaly friend who is a Crested Gecko. I've made doggy friends through friends who have been on Rover and am now wanting to make my own! I work full time as an NHS professional, so while my availability can be limited I also have varying days off and occassional free weekends as well as evenings. I live with two dogs owned by my friends who have also become my companions. About: I have a lovely senior dog of my own, a rescue that I have had for 10 years. I grew up with dogs and cats. I have also worked with horses at a horse riding school. I love animals and I have lots of experience in caring for them. Im a tattooist/creative and I’m currently working on a creative writing project at home so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of work schedule and location. I will be offering caring for your pets in your own home, visits in your own home or walks. About: I've looked after dogs, cats, farm animals and other since I was a teenager (20+ yr experience). I've helped train puppies as well as caring for senior dogs and have had my own beautiful family of dogs ranging from larger dogs to tiny ones. All animals are different, generally the main theme is providing safety, fun, attention and care. I'm currently on a career break (a little over a decade running operations in London start ups) so I have flexible availability. I have a car, spend a lot of time outdoors and am generally quite relaxed. I follow any instruction given to keep both the pet and the home safe and cared for. At my own home, I have two lifts to access the floor (no stairs for senior dogs), windows are up high and kept on a Pendlay lock.

About: I’ve owned rescue Greyhound’s for 20 years and despite being a Specialist Nurse am now training to be a dog behaviourist with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. I have cared and trained family and friends dogs and worked with some very experienced Dog Trainers. I care and work with all breeds but my specialty are sighthounds. I am now concentrating on my dog business as I have left the NHS behind. I am currently studying and training dogs so my daily routine is very flexible right now. I can offer drop-ins, dog walks and sitting weekdays and some weekends. My overnight dog sitting rate of £90 in your own home includes daytime (usually 20-21 hours) and includes any walks your dog/dogs need. My dog has the run of the house. She is very clean and well trained and great with other dogs. I can have one other dog in my home for dog boarding and sitting.
