Milo had a wonderful time with Nic. He quickly became very comfortable with her, looking forward to his daily walks and greeting Nic as a friend. Nic provided us with reassurance, photos and updates and adapted to extra requests with ease. I would definitely request Nic again to help us out with Milo.

About: Hello! I’m Hannah and I’ve been a huge dog lover since a very early age. I regularly look after family, friends and colleagues dogs and now do this alongside my full-time job. I have also fostered dogs long-term for Raystede animal charity. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. For dog boarding, I appreciate that every dog has their own individual needs and routine and I try to recreate this in my home. I know pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I work from home 3 days a week and have alternate Friday’s off, so I have lots of time to cuddle your pups! I don’t work weekends so am extra flexible on Saturdays and Sundays. There are two external doors (excluding front door) to get outside, so your pets will be very safe in the flat. There is a communal garden unfenced but away from the road, a woods about 5 minutes away, plus a large park at the top of my road.

About: I've spent the last two 2.5 years working full-time in rescue kennels, bearing professional responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and needs; including those coming from difficult and traumatic backgrounds. - So if you're looking for someone with professional experience that you can trust, as well as a genuine passion for providing dogs with high-quality care, then I'd love for you to get in touch! I can't wait to start getting to know your dogs, their personalities, and their needs! Please always feel free to get in touch and ask me any questions regarding my availability 👍 I’m currently working part-time, and I typically work 3-4 days per week. My shifts vary in length - they are typically 4-6 hours, but can very occasionally be up 8 hours long. My working hours can fall any time between 0600 and 2200. My shift patterns vary from week to week, and I usually find out my working hours 3 weeks in advance. While a lot of my experience of providing safe care and a safe environment for dogs comes from my work in rescue kennels, I have also provided dog-sitting in homes on a number of occasions. - I'm currently well set up to look after dogs in clients’ homes, and I’m always keen to learn and follow any routines, rules, or instructions that you might have to ensure a safe, happy, and stress-free experience for both you and your dog. - I also have extensive experience of safely walking dogs in public spaces, and around other dogs. Walking dogs was a daily part of my work in rescue kennels, and a lot of the dogs I walked and encountered could be very reactive. You can rest assured that your dog will be safe, happy, and well looked after under my supervision when out and about. I want to add that I always prefer walking dogs on-lead. - I am not currently offering pet-sitting at my own home, as my family’s dog can initially be quite reactive to new dogs and needs to be introduced to them slowly.

About: I have grown up around animals my entire life, particularly dogs and cats, which has given me a lifelong understanding of animal care, behaviour, and wellbeing. I have gained hands-on experience through both pet care and house sitting, supporting family members and clients with their pets during times of illness, recovery, and travel. Most recently, I looked after my dad’s home and dog for several weeks while he recovered from surgery, ensuring his dog was walked, fed, and cared for within a calm and consistent routine. I offer solo, one-to-one dog walks that focus on calm handling, safety, and individual attention. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, energy levels, and routine to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Alongside this, I have been trusted regularly through my cleaning work with clients’ homes and keys, and have also supported with occasional pet care during visits, including letting dogs out, keeping them company, and ensuring their wellbeing while owners are away. I have also spent time around cats throughout my life through family members and local cats in my area, and have further developed my experience through cat drop-in visits and house sitting. I am confident caring for a variety of feline personalities and understand the importance of a calm, gentle, and patient approach. I ensure feeding, litter care, and companionship are all handled carefully while respecting each cat’s individual needs. Previously, I volunteered at the RSPCA, which strengthened my passion for animal welfare and deepened my understanding of caring for animals in different environments. While travelling in Thailand, I also visited an ethical elephant sanctuary where I spent time helping care for rescued elephants, including feeding, washing, and spending time alongside them. It was a meaningful experience that further deepened my respect and love for animals. I am calm, reliable, and respectful of people’s homes, with a naturally caring approach to animals. I always aim to provide a safe, reassuring, and stress-free environment for pets while their owners are away. Fully insured for pet sitting and dog walking. I offer flexible availability throughout the week for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I currently have daytime and afternoon availability on weekdays, with additional flexibility on weekends for walks, pet care, and overnight stays. For longer house sitting bookings, I may occasionally have my young daughter with me if previously discussed and agreed with owners. She is calm, gentle around animals, and respectful in home environments. I am always happy to communicate clearly about schedules and work with owners to find arrangements that suit both their pets’ needs and my availability. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and caring for your pets. Through my cleaning work, I have been trusted with clients’ house keys and access to their homes on a regular basis, which has helped me build a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and respect for people’s spaces. I always aim to provide a calm, safe, clean, and caring environment for pets while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I treat every home with care and respect, and I pride myself on being trustworthy, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs.

About: Why Choose Me? I’m a reliable, caring, and flexible dog walker with a genuine love for animals. As a shift worker, I can often offer availability outside the usual 9–5 hours, making me a great option for owners who need early morning, evening, weekend, or last-minute support. I have experience walking dogs with a variety of personalities, sizes, and energy levels, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog loves an energetic adventure or prefers a slower-paced stroll, I will ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m particularly patient with puppies and younger dogs who may still be learning their manners, and I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and building trust. For your convenience, I will travel to you, and I offer a free meet-and-greet before any booking. This gives you and your dog the opportunity to get to know me, ask any questions, and ensure we’re a great fit before walks begin. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness will always be my priority. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to give owners complete peace of mind while they’re away. ✔ Free meet-and-greet ✔ I travel to your location ✔ Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends ✔ Patient and caring approach ✔ Walks tailored to your dog’s needs ✔ Regular updates and photos available Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a shift worker, giving me flexibility to provide walks and care at different times throughout the week. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so dog walking is something I genuinely look forward to. I make time to ensure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need, whether that’s regular walks, companionship, or adapting to individual routines. Caring for pets is something I enjoy making part of my weekly life, not just something I fit in around other commitments. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after in either my home or a pet owner’s home. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space while ensuring their pet receives attention, companionship, exercise, and plenty of care. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means active play for younger pets or a calmer, gentler approach for senior pets. My priority is always keeping pets happy, secure, and cared for as if they were my own.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I live in a secluded road with a secure garden. I have two friendly female cockers, who are very laid back and love having friends to visit. Can be kept separate if needed. My house backs onto some lovely local walks, I walk my dogs twice daily. I work part time from home so have plenty of time for 1-2-1. I am up early to get the dogs out before the day starts. I take them out again at lunchtime or during the evening. The weekends I usually go for hikes which the dogs love. Our pets are part of the family so welcome up on furniture for cuddles and free roam downstairs. We have a fully secure Fenced garden. They can sleep in the room with our friendly girls, or have a separate room with their own bed. I can provide a dog bed.

About: Ive been offering boarding and doggie day care services for the past 5 years. We are a dog loving family (my 2 children are 12 and 14 years old) - and have our own very affectionate cocker spaniel Ruby. I have a policy of a maximum of two dogs at a time as it is my priority to offer your dog the attention they need in a quiet and calm home environment. I work part time from home so I am always around to offer your dog country walks and attention throughout the day. I love the outdoors and love hiking and walking - we live nearby to lots of beautiful walks - eg Ashdown Forest, Ardingly Resevoir & Showground which are excellent stomping ground. I do a daily walk of 45 mins to an hour but this can of course be tailored to suit the requirements of your dog. I live in a private road which has no traffic and have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced and doggie proofed so your dog will have lots of garden to explore and run about in in between walks. I work part time from home so am at home all day during the week. I offer daily walks of up to 1 hour but can always tailor this to your dog if they need more or less I have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced so there is lots of room to run around in between walks. Dogs are allowed on sofas but I do ask that dogs sleep downstairs in their own bed at night.

About: My husband, Julian, and I can’t wait to meet your doggy! My day job is as a nurse (of humans!) which I’ve been doing for the last 17 years so I’m very accustomed to being responsible for and caring for others. I’ve had a dog for the last 6 years, his name is Jimmy, he’s a lurcher and a well loved member of our family even if he does manage to steal our treats occasionally! 🤣 We’ve often cared for our friends’ dogs when they’ve been on holiday and such like. We’re able to provide daily exercise, a safe environment and lots of cuddles. We’re both fully DBS checked for our jobs. My husband and I work flexible shift patterns so we can care for and spend as much time at home as possible with our young son and dog, this means we can be flexible with boarding and doggy day care. We’re willing to consider last minute requests. We’re often having to look for doggy boarding when we go on trips and holidays etc, so we know how stressful it is and thought we’d try to take some of the stress out of it for others, provide a home from home environment for your beloved dogs and get to make lots of new doggy friends at the same time! Julian and I will be jointly caring for your dog (with the help of our toddler too, he knows where the dog treats are kept!). We have 1 dog, he’s an old boy and mostly enjoys curling up to snooze and stealing food when he can. Our son is 2 years old, he has been around many different dogs, he loves playing with dogs, but is also aware when to give dogs space. We have an open plan downstairs which helps for observing, we’d never leave our child alone with any dogs. We have a secure garden space which is fully fenced. We’re not fussy about dogs being on furniture etc

Nicola stepped in to walk our young Cockapoo as she can't go to her usual daycare due to coming into heat. She took her for a long walk off the beaten track to avoid other dogs and Luna came home happy and tired. Nicola is very knowlegeable and caring and she sent an update with pictures so we could see where she went and the length of the walk. We were very comfortable to use Nicola and would highly recommend!

Graham gets on really well with the dogs, as does Dan. It’s a pleasure to see how the dogs react to him. I have no problem at all with leaving the dogs in their care. I’m so pleased we have found Graham and Dan and hopefully they feel they can cope with overnights with our dogs too. Thanks Graham for giving Beau a lovely walk today - now you know I wasn’t joking when I said Beau is one idle collie!!

Luke was great. very prompt and communicative, which we really appreciated. We were dealing with the flu and he was very considerate about picking our dog up from the front/back porch so we didn’t have to interact in person, which was thoughtful and helpful. He also walked our dog for the full hour as booked, which we really value. Would happily book Luke again and recommend him to others!
