About: Ive been offering boarding and doggie day care services for the past 5 years. We are a dog loving family (my 2 children are 12 and 14 years old) - and have our own very affectionate cocker spaniel Ruby. I have a policy of a maximum of two dogs at a time as it is my priority to offer your dog the attention they need in a quiet and calm home environment. I work part time from home so I am always around to offer your dog country walks and attention throughout the day. I love the outdoors and love hiking and walking - we live nearby to lots of beautiful walks - eg Ashdown Forest, Ardingly Resevoir & Showground which are excellent stomping ground. I do a daily walk of 45 mins to an hour but this can of course be tailored to suit the requirements of your dog. I live in a private road which has no traffic and have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced and doggie proofed so your dog will have lots of garden to explore and run about in in between walks. I work part time from home so am at home all day during the week. I offer daily walks of up to 1 hour but can always tailor this to your dog if they need more or less I have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced so there is lots of room to run around in between walks. Dogs are allowed on sofas but I do ask that dogs sleep downstairs in their own bed at night.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life as has my partner. I've mainly been around boxers (I can't remember a time that my parents haven't had a boxer). Gray has had a whole range of pets but always had a dog at home. Our current flat isn't dog friendly but we would love to have a pet when we move into a property more appropriate. We are also great at watering plants, taking in deliveries and caring for your house while you're away! We can work around your routines and mix walk, play and rest as required. We are also very understanding to each dogs individual needs. I currently work full time locally in Haywards Heath so I can pop round in the day time on my lunch break to let the dogs out whilst Gray is a teacher and can be more available during school holidays and weekends. About: I have looked after a multitude of dogs of different breeds and ages since I was 13 including my own dauschund (Maggie), my grandparents cockapoo (Kea) and my neighbours Labrador (Rufus). About: My husband, Julian, and I can’t wait to meet your doggy! My day job is as a nurse (of humans!) which I’ve been doing for the last 17 years so I’m very accustomed to being responsible for and caring for others. We’re often having to look for doggy boarding when we go on trips and holidays etc, so we know how stressful it is and thought we’d try to take some of the stress out of it for others, provide a home from home environment for your beloved dogs and get to make lots of new doggy friends at the same time! About: I love dogs and grew up with them. I have 2 of my own a Cocker Spaniel (5) and a mini dachshund (11 months). I also have a cat and 2 horses (the horses live at a livery yard)). I have taken care of friends dogs (and other animals) for many years. When I look after other peoples dogs they are treated like part of the family. I have had my dogs since puppies so am used to puppy antics! I am at home all day and have the time to take them for 2 walks per day, play with them and cater for their every need. We have lovely walks on our doorstep so no need to get in a car. We have a lovely secure garden and plenty of space in the home. My dogs and visiting dogs are allowed on the sofas and mine sleep in bed with me but happy to cater for different requirements depending on what your dog is used to. Hi. I work from home and have 2 dogs of my own. We walk for about an hour in the morning around 7.30/8 and again in the afternoon time depends on time of year and weather. My dogs get fed 3 times per day but can cater for other requirements. I can have another dog boarding (only one or 2 from the same household) and can offer walks/drop ins. I have 2 friendly dogs - a working cocker and a miniature dachshund. And a cat. Your dog would be part of the family! I can offer walks with my dogs or individual walks.

Despite it being a last minute booking, she and her family took such kind and attentive care of my dog, especially because he was already unwell from the first day, he arrived with gastrointestinal issues and she went above and beyond to keep him clean, comfortable, and well looked after, even cooking rice to help him feel better and making sure he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the level of communication. Nicola kept me updated all the time, which gave me great peace of mind and reassured me that my dog was in safe, caring hands. About: We’re a long-term couple who have been together for 36 years and share a genuine love of dogs. Because we both work in aviation, having our own dog full-time has always been difficult, so 11 years ago we joined BorrowMyDoggy and met Geoff, a lovely lurcher who became a huge part of our lives. We regularly collected Geoff for walks, overnight stays and longer visits, and cared for him consistently for 11 years until he sadly passed away recently. During that time we also looked after several other dogs, but Geoff was our regular companion and taught us so much about caring for dogs of different ages and needs. We love being outdoors and spend a lot of time walking on the South Downs, Ditchling Common and the many beautiful paths around Burgess Hill, which are right on our doorstep. Geoff even joined us on part of the West Highland Way in Scotland! We’re reliable, caring and flexible. Because Rod works part-time for British Airways and Simon works for the CAA, we’re often available for weekday as well as weekend care. We understand how important it is to trust the people looking after your dog and we will always treat them as if they were our own. work part-time for British Airways and will soon be moving to a 50% schedule, which means I often have extended periods at home, particularly during my three-week off blocks. This allows plenty of time for walks, companionship and attentive care. My partner Simon works for the Civil Aviation Authority and is usually home at weekends, so there are often two of us around to help look after visiting dogs. Because of our work patterns I’m generally very flexible and can often help during weekdays as well as weekends. I also understand that plans can sometimes change, so I try to be as accommodating as possible if owners need to adjust or cancel arrangements at short notice. Dogs staying with us will have plenty of attention, regular walks and a calm, caring environment. Dogs staying with us will be cared for in our home, where they can relax in a calm and welcoming environment. We generally prefer to care for dogs here rather than in the owner’s home, but we’re very happy to collect and return dogs if needed. Dogs do not have to stay overnight with us. In many cases we are simply able to collect them from home and take them out for a good walk before bringing them back again, which works well for owners who are busy during the day. We live in a quiet area of Burgess Hill with a secure garden, and dogs are free to relax anywhere in the house so they feel comfortable and part of the home. For walks, we’re very lucky to have fantastic countryside right on our doorstep, including the South Downs and Ditchling Common. Dogs are walked on or off lead depending on the owner’s preference and the dog’s recall ability, and we always prioritise safety. We also have an SUV with a secure dog guard behind the rear seats so dogs can travel safely in the back when we collect them or take them out for walks. For the past 11 years we regularly cared for a wonderful lurcher called Geoff, as well as a few other dogs, which gave us a great deal of hands-on experience looking after dogs in a home environment. Our aim is always to make sure every dog feels safe, relaxed and well cared for while they are with us.
