“Our two girls had another fantastic stay with Marcus & Shelley. They are always so keen to go in & start exploring the garden, we barely get a glance when we leave! Our girls are at very different stages of their lives, nearly 10 years between them & it is wonderful how both their very different needs are met. Dolly is young & likes to run around the garden all day, but Meg’s, our old girl, mostly just wants to lie quietly in the garden. We never have a moments worry about them whilst we are away as we know they are in the safest of hands with Shelley & Marcus Thank you both again for all the love, care & attention you give to the girls”
“As soon as we left our collie cross dog Murphy with Karl, we were immediately reassured, we knew Murphy was going to be happy, he took to his holiday home like a duck to water We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for him, we have already booked him in for an October break and would not hesitate in recommending him.”

“Jess and Dom took great care of our Choc Labrador for a one night stay. He settled in super quickly and enjoyed lots of fuss and some woodland walks. We received regular photo and message updates throughout his stay which was brilliant and when we went to pick him up, he didn't want to come home! Thank you Jess and Dom!”

“Jasper had a great time with you. I was pleased to hear that he was good for you and that you are happy to have him again. He was happy to come, it’s lovely to see him pulling to get in and was happy when we collected him. I am so confident and reassured by you with him in your care. We will be booking a weeks holiday! We look forward to to the next time!”

“My little dog Ivy stayed with Nessa for 3 nights and was so well looked after. I received lots of photos and videos of Ivy enjoying her walks and being with Nessa’s gorgeous dogs. I have no hesitation in recommending Nessa as she is very caring and I was delighted with the care and attention that she showed to Ivy - many thanks.”

“Absolutely fantastic!! Flo was well loved and looked after, long walks and plenty of cuddles. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a dogsitter. We will certainly bring Flo back whenever we go away next and are unable to bring Flo. Thank you, Sarah & family for all your support.”

“Caro and family looked after our precious lab for ten days. They are very loving with her and we know she is in safe hands. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Caro as a sitter.”

“Tristan looked after my dog for a week. Who came back a very happy boy. He was very quick to respond to my numerous enquiries. I will be more than happy to leave my doggie with him again”

“Candi was amazing from start to finish. Left our naughty puppy for the first time with her and naturally a little worried about it but candi made him part of the family straight away. You could tell she was an animal lover as soon as you met her. Lots of doggys for bear to play with and came home very tired and well loved. Thanks again candi. Superstar”
“Jennifer is exceptionally lovely lady who took the best care of my dog on my long weekend away. She was fantastic in communicating and kept me well informed of my dogs activities throughout the weekend. Would highly recommend”

“Our pooch stayed with Jade for 8 days. She seemed like she had a great time, from all the photos and communications Jade sent us daily over the stay. Jade was very flexible and worked around Yuki’s particular needs, like having her sleep on her bed, and put up with yuki’s food stealing ways! Thanks so much Jade.”

“Wow! We are so grateful to Hollie² for taking such good care of Maureen whilst we had a weekend away. They were able to take our booking last minute (including the meet and greet to make sure their lovely dogs got on with Maureen) and we are so glad they did as it meant we found their service and we'll rebook if we can for sure! Such lovely people, perfect blend of diligent in understanding your dogs particular needs or quirks whilst being relaxed and authentic dog lovers. Thank you so much. Maureen misses them already!”

“I would highly recommend Viviana. We had an excellent experience when our mini schnauzer stayed with her whilst we were away. Viviana is so warm and caring, she sent us lots of pictures and videos. We knew our doggie was having a great time - in fact I’m not sure she wanted to come home! Lol.”

“Lydia, Toby and their lovely dog Hector looked after our Border Terrier while we got married. They sent regular photos and updates and even went to the trouble of sending us an excellent of photo of our dog Leo next for a sign they had made wishing us a happy wedding. They truly went above and beyond and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave Leo with them again. Their dog Hector was so friendly and Leo has made a new friend. Thank you so much!”

“Jordan looked after Bailey and Nova as if they were her own. She sent plenty or pictures and videos, they went on beautiful walks and I could enjoy my holiday without having to worry about them. The dogs looked happy in all pictures which shows the care and love they received. I would highly recommend Jordan.”

About: I love dogs and grew up with them. I have 2 of my own a Cocker Spaniel (5) and a mini dachshund (11 months). I also have a cat and 2 horses (the horses live at a livery yard)). I have taken care of friends dogs (and other animals) for many years. When I look after other peoples dogs they are treated like part of the family. I have had my dogs since puppies so am used to puppy antics! I am at home all day and have the time to take them for 2 walks per day, play with them and cater for their every need. We have lovely walks on our doorstep so no need to get in a car. We have a lovely secure garden and plenty of space in the home. My dogs and visiting dogs are allowed on the sofas and mine sleep in bed with me but happy to cater for different requirements depending on what your dog is used to. Hi. I work from home and have 2 dogs of my own. We walk for about an hour in the morning around 7.30/8 and again in the afternoon time depends on time of year and weather. My dogs get fed 3 times per day but can cater for other requirements. I can have another dog boarding (only one or 2 from the same household) and can offer walks/drop ins. I have 2 friendly dogs - a working cocker and a miniature dachshund. And a cat. Your dog would be part of the family! I can offer walks with my dogs or individual walks.

About: I have always had animals and cats front up and until earlier this year we had a lovely cat (Izzy) so I have extensive experience in caring and looking after animals.
About: I have a genuine passion for looking after animals. As well as sights like Borrow My Doggy, I am also a member of Trusted Housesitters and have looked after a range of young, old, small and large dogs and have built up a great relationship with all owners I work with. I would love to be considered to look after your pet. I’m currently working partly remote, meaning I have more spare time to attend to the pets I look after, including more regular walks and cuddles of course! Despite living in a flat, it is extremely spacious with access to a courtyard and parks close by. I would be happy to show you around ahead of a service.
About: Hi, I’m Sarah! Our family has shared our home with animals for over 15 years — from dogs and cats to chickens, rabbits, and more. We currently have a sweet-natured cocker spaniel named Ivy and a curious little hamster named Bear. When we first moved to the UK two years ago, we spent several months house-sitting and had the joy of caring for dogs, cats, and even a bird — it was such a rewarding experience that we’ve never forgotten. Since then, I’ve used Rover myself to find trusted sitters for our own pets when we travel, and now I’m excited to offer the same peace of mind to others. Pet care fits naturally into our everyday life. I run my own small business creating handmade candles and aura sprays, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule and allows me to be home throughout the day. My husband also works from home three days a week, so there’s usually someone around to give pets attention, cuddles, and care. We already walk our own dog, Ivy, daily — and we’re incredibly lucky to back onto a forest and open fields, making walks feel more like mini-adventures. It’s a peaceful, pet-friendly environment, and we love spending time outdoors with the animals. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a chore to us — it’s something we genuinely enjoy and value as part of our routine. Whether it’s giving extra belly rubs, playtime in the garden, or peaceful naps on the sofa, we make sure every pet feels right at home. We live in a spacious home with a large, fully fenced garden that backs onto beautiful forest and open fields. It’s the perfect place for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy their daily walks with Ivy. Your pet will be treated like one of the family while in our care, with plenty of love, attention, and cuddles.

“Sarah and family accepted a request at very short notice and are lovely - Syd really enjoyed a rainy day at their house playing with their equally lovely cocker spaniel, Ivy. Thanks, Sarah!”

“Cannot recommend these lovely ladies enough. They kindly agreed to my last minute request and an early start. They looked after Teddy as if he was their own and sent lots of updates. He had the best day! Will definitely be back.”

“We secured our booking after a meet & greet where Gin and Laura seemed happy with each other ahead of her full day stay a few days later. Laura was very amenable, flexible and friendly with Gin and us humans. I would be very happy to contact Laura again when I visit my daughter in Hassocks. Thank you for enabling our day trip to London.”

“From the moment I met Jordan and her husband I felt comfortable leaving Naia with them. Naias first session was great, she was excited to arrive, and Ivy was there to the last minute to say goodbye!”

“This is the second visit that Izzy has had with Carolyn and her lovely family. Carolyn was a lifesaver and helped me out with a last-minute request for doggy daycare. Izzy was right at home and is now snuggled up sleeping. Thanks so much 😁🐕”

“Lilah has been fantastic with Mabel. She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the day, gave Mabel lots of cuddles and attention, and helped her settle in really well. It was lovely to see how comfortable and happy Mabel was with her. We’d definitely recommend Lilah and would happily book with her again.”

“Jenny took great care of our little boy! He can be a little nervous and reactive with new people but she was so accommodating, we had a meeting ahead of time where he could check out the house and get to know Jenny and her husband. We then booked in for half a day to ease him in and Jenny managed to fit in a walk and even squeezed in a snooze and a little cuddle before lunch! Thank you for being so understanding of his barking, he can't wait to come again ❤️”

“After having looked after Madge so well when she boarded for 2 nights, Karmen was able to help me again at very short notice for doggy day care. Again, communication and care were second to none. Thanks for the last minute support!”

“Emma was patient with Daisy and allowed her time to work through her nervous ways ! She sent lots of photos and updates which always helps to put my mind at ease. Emma’s dogs were gentle and welcomed Daisy into the pack - will definitely be booking again !”

Piper seemed to have a great time and we felt they were very caring. What a lovely and friendly couple to look after her. We look forward to them having Piper again if we have a day away”

“Candi was a very responsive host quickly replying and helping to make the process easy. She obviously cares about animals and Teddy despite it being his first time away from his parents coped well and seemed happy. Have already booked his second visit. Would definitely recommend,”

“We had such a lovely experience with Jade! She was really easy to communicate with and kept us in the loop the whole time with regular updates and photos. Pixie clearly had the best time, especially playing with Rex! It was lovely to see how comfortable and settled she was in a new environment. We’d happily recommend her and would definitely book again 😊”

“Izzy had the most wonderful time with Nessa and her three gorgeous doggies. She had so much fun playing ball with them and had loads of lovely walks and time in the garden. She will definitely be returning!”

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Now living on my own in Bolnore Village, Haywards Heath! I'm lucky to be surrounded by beautiful fields, parks, and a huge open space right next to my flat, perfect for walks, playtime, and outdoor fun. I genuinely have to have animals in my life - spending time with them brings me joy and calm, and I make sure they feel that same comfort and attention in return. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will always have company, care, and cuddles. I work remotely from hove full-time. I rise early and enjoy staying in watching tv or finding another incredible spot around West Sussex to walk! Whether caring for pets in my own home or in a pet owner's home, I always aim to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable, just like they would with their family. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I live in Bolnore Village, surrounded by nature and open fields, so dogs get plenty of outdoor time, stimulation, and exercise. I'm home throughout the day, so pets are never left alone for long and receive constant attention and care. When I care for pets in their own home, I respect their routine and space while offering the same level of love, company, and attentiveness. I stick closely to feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions from the owner, including administering medication if needed - I also used to be a live-in carer :)
“Viviana was amazing with our 5-month-old puppy! She was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She sent plenty of pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. Our pup was clearly well cared for and happy. We would absolutely recommend Viviana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. Canine first aid trained in 2026. Outdoors and dog lover. My favourite way to pass the time is on long walks in nature. I am currently taking a break from working in the music industry while deciding on my next steps moving forward. This means that I have plenty of time to tend to your pets needs as I am not currently tied to a 9-5 schedule. I am open to direction on a case by case basis. Please inform me of your pets individual needs e.g command words, favourite walking routes, on/off lead preferences. I am happy to edit my service based on what it is you feel your pet needs.

About: I am a big dog lover. Fortunately, I have retired early in life and spend my days on walks (often 3 a day, just to get myself out in nature). I am an experienced dog "grandfather" as my daughter rescued two dogs (one from Battersea charity) and am familiar with positive reinforcement training. I live 200 yards from Ditchling Common and know all of the public footpaths/bridleways in the area. If your dog is up for it, I'm happy to take him/her along for a 5km hike with me! Of course, I can modify walk lengths to be appropriate for your dog's needs. Thankfully, I am in early retirement and am happy to spend my time caring for your dog 100% of the time he/she is with me. I have a fenced yard and can take your dog on walks with me multiple times a day through commons, public footpaths, and bridleways. There are no other animals or children in the home.
“Ella did a great job with Ruby. She was quick to make a bond with her and is clearly very experienced with dogs. Communication was excellent too. We’ll definitely be in touch again for future dog sitting needs”

“Lauren and her partner were fantastic - inviting me to see their home on arrival, updating me with photos and videos throughout the day and putting our nervous dog at ease quickly. Will 100% use Lauren again, Daisy had such a good day with Maggie! Thank you 🐾”

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was young, but my first real hands-on pet care experience began 15 years ago with my black Labrador puppy, Buttons. I trained and cared for her throughout her life until she sadly passed away last year. We had 14 years of fun together - walks, cuddles and plenty of mischief. She now lives on in my memories as a reminder of why I love caring for pets so much. She also taught me how to care for an animal through all stages of life - through the puppy years up to having her medications as a senior dog. I also share my life with many cats. Cleo, my first, joined me three years ago and had a litter of kittens. Helping care for them and assisting in their upbringing, including keeping one kitten we named Tavvy, was an unforgettable experience. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and now I’m thrilled to use my experience to help others — with the added bonus of even more cuddles along the way! I have 3 years’ professional experience in the pet care industry. I began by completing an animal care course, and the 3 years ago I joined Rover. Since then, I’ve loved every moment of caring for wonderful pets, no matter how challenging. My experience includes working with large dog breeds, animals with disabilities or medical conditions, and multiple-pet households — once caring for 5 cats and 5 dogs at the same time! I look forward to meeting even more incredible animals and their owners, and hope I can help care for your furry family members too. I currently work in accounts alongside my pet sitting work. My role is flexible and local, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. When I’m with them, they’re always my number one priority — their comfort, happiness, and well-being come first every single time! You can trust that your pets will be treated with the same love and care I give my own. My own pets are loved, well cared for, and kept to a routine — something I truly believe helps them feel safe and happy. I know every pet is unique, and no one knows them better than their owner! I’m always happy to follow your routines, schedules, and preferences to make sure your pets get the same care they’re used to at home. No detail is ever too small — the more I know, the better I can tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and personality. My goal is to make you feel completely comfortable and confident that your furry (or scaly!) friends are in safe, loving hands
“Stephanie certainly knows dogs, and she got along well with our highly energised 3-year-old Staffy. Very communicative and flexible because we had some last-minute schedule changes. I would recommend Stephanie and utilise her services again.”

About: I have looked after a multitude of dogs of different breeds and ages since I was 13 including my own dauschund (Maggie), my grandparents cockapoo (Kea) and my neighbours Labrador (Rufus). I have now been on Rover for a year and clients have trusted me to walk, feed, play and most importantly give cuddles to their precious pooches. I can look after dogs with any temperaments so whether your dog is looking for a more relaxed person who can be a couch potato with them or whether your dog is looking for someone to take them on a long and exciting walk, I would love to be the person they chose! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to look after your pups and I am available most weekends and weekdays so just let me know a time and place! I have a back garden which is fully secure that your pup can play around in. I live by loads of exciting walk routes including spacious fields and woods that are all dog friendly spaces!

“Emma is exactly the kind of dog sitter/walker who just makes you relax whenever you’re away from home, knowing that your dog is in such good hands. She’s clearly really experienced with dogs but also has some much care and love for them. She took the time to come and meet Phoebe before the proper drop ins started and Phoebe loves her. She’s also been so considerate about the heat and keeping phoebs call, and brilliant with communication - sending lots of videos and pictures. And needless to say Phoebe always looks very happy and well looked after in every one of them. I’d recommend Emma to anyone and am so glad we can rely on her moving forwards!”

“Georgie suggested good tips on how to prepare Mazie for her stay… she left a few of her belongings at my place so Mazie gets familiar to her scents…. Good idea!!!! Thanks Georgie!”

“Biscuit has fallen in love with Tom so much, she is always super excited when Tom is at the door. We have booked Tom many times and Biscuit will be delighted that we will continue to book him again in the future.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I live in a secluded road with a secure garden. I have two friendly female cockers, who are very laid back and love having friends to visit. Can be kept separate if needed. My house backs onto some lovely local walks, I walk my dogs twice daily. I work part time from home so have plenty of time for 1-2-1. I am up early to get the dogs out before the day starts. I take them out again at lunchtime or during the evening. The weekends I usually go for hikes which the dogs love. Our pets are part of the family so welcome up on furniture for cuddles and free roam downstairs. We have a fully secure Fenced garden. They can sleep in the room with our friendly girls, or have a separate room with their own bed. I can provide a dog bed.
About: I have grown up around animals my entire life, particularly dogs and cats, which has given me a lifelong understanding of animal care, behaviour, and wellbeing. I have gained hands-on experience through both pet care and house sitting, supporting family members and clients with their pets during times of illness, recovery, and travel. Most recently, I looked after my dad’s home and dog for several weeks while he recovered from surgery, ensuring his dog was walked, fed, and cared for within a calm and consistent routine. I offer solo, one-to-one dog walks that focus on calm handling, safety, and individual attention. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, energy levels, and routine to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Alongside this, I have been trusted regularly through my cleaning work with clients’ homes and keys, and have also supported with occasional pet care during visits, including letting dogs out, keeping them company, and ensuring their wellbeing while owners are away. I have also spent time around cats throughout my life through family members and local cats in my area, and have further developed my experience through cat drop-in visits and house sitting. I am confident caring for a variety of feline personalities and understand the importance of a calm, gentle, and patient approach. I ensure feeding, litter care, and companionship are all handled carefully while respecting each cat’s individual needs. Previously, I volunteered at the RSPCA, which strengthened my passion for animal welfare and deepened my understanding of caring for animals in different environments. While travelling in Thailand, I also visited an ethical elephant sanctuary where I spent time helping care for rescued elephants, including feeding, washing, and spending time alongside them. It was a meaningful experience that further deepened my respect and love for animals. I am calm, reliable, and respectful of people’s homes, with a naturally caring approach to animals. I always aim to provide a safe, reassuring, and stress-free environment for pets while their owners are away. Fully insured for pet sitting and dog walking. I offer flexible availability throughout the week for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I currently have daytime and afternoon availability on weekdays, with additional flexibility on weekends for walks, pet care, and overnight stays. For longer house sitting bookings, I may occasionally have my young daughter with me if previously discussed and agreed with owners. She is calm, gentle around animals, and respectful in home environments. I am always happy to communicate clearly about schedules and work with owners to find arrangements that suit both their pets’ needs and my availability. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and caring for your pets. Through my cleaning work, I have been trusted with clients’ house keys and access to their homes on a regular basis, which has helped me build a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and respect for people’s spaces. I always aim to provide a calm, safe, clean, and caring environment for pets while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I treat every home with care and respect, and I pride myself on being trustworthy, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs.

About: Hello! I’m Hannah and I’ve been a huge dog lover since a very early age. I regularly look after family, friends and colleagues dogs and now do this alongside my full-time job. I have also fostered dogs long-term for Raystede animal charity. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. For dog boarding, I appreciate that every dog has their own individual needs and routine and I try to recreate this in my home. I know pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I work from home 3 days a week and have alternate Friday’s off, so I have lots of time to cuddle your pups! I don’t work weekends so am extra flexible on Saturdays and Sundays. There are two external doors (excluding front door) to get outside, so your pets will be very safe in the flat. There is a communal garden unfenced but away from the road, a woods about 5 minutes away, plus a large park at the top of my road.

About: I’ve been around dogs and other pets for most of my life and love caring for them. I often look after my daughter’s dogs - a lively working cocker spaniel and a sweet bichon mixed breed. Before that, we had a much-loved Airedale who was a member of our family for many years, who we got as a puppy. I’ve also had other pets in the past who lived long, happy lives, so I understand the commitment, patience and love they need. Family, friends and neighbours have trusted me over the years to walk, feed and keep their pets company. Having cared for dogs with different temperaments and needs, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe and well looked after. Whether it’s walks, playtime or cuddles, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own. My work is very flexible at the moment, which means I have plenty of spare time to dedicate to pet care. I love being around dogs, and I’m looking to spend more time looking after them because it brings me a lot of joy. With a little notice, I can easily fit walks, playtime and general care into my daily routine without any problem. I’m also available some weekends. In my home, pets are cared for as if they were my own. I have a safe, fenced garden where dogs can play and explore securely, and they’re always supervised. I make sure they feel comfortable, with plenty of walks, playtime and cuddles to suit their needs. In a pet owners home, I follow their usual routines closely so pets feel settled and cared for, keeping to their feeding, exercise and rest schedules. My priority is always to make pets feel safe, happy and loved.
About: My husband, Julian, and I can’t wait to meet your doggy! My day job is as a nurse (of humans!) which I’ve been doing for the last 17 years so I’m very accustomed to being responsible for and caring for others. I’ve had a dog for the last 6 years, his name is Jimmy, he’s a lurcher and a well loved member of our family even if he does manage to steal our treats occasionally! 🤣 We’ve often cared for our friends’ dogs when they’ve been on holiday and such like. We’re able to provide daily exercise, a safe environment and lots of cuddles. We’re both fully DBS checked for our jobs. My husband and I work flexible shift patterns so we can care for and spend as much time at home as possible with our young son and dog, this means we can be flexible with boarding and doggy day care. We’re willing to consider last minute requests. We’re often having to look for doggy boarding when we go on trips and holidays etc, so we know how stressful it is and thought we’d try to take some of the stress out of it for others, provide a home from home environment for your beloved dogs and get to make lots of new doggy friends at the same time! Julian and I will be jointly caring for your dog (with the help of our toddler too, he knows where the dog treats are kept!). We have 1 dog, he’s an old boy and mostly enjoys curling up to snooze and stealing food when he can. Our son is 2 years old, he has been around many different dogs, he loves playing with dogs, but is also aware when to give dogs space. We have an open plan downstairs which helps for observing, we’d never leave our child alone with any dogs. We have a secure garden space which is fully fenced. We’re not fussy about dogs being on furniture etc

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 9 and often walked people’s dogs on ‘Borrow my Doggy’ in London and Sussex. I’ve often looked after friend’s dogs when they’re on holiday. I work from home so am able to look after a dog easily. I can walk dogs in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. I can also look after dogs at the weekend. I live very close to the park. I live in a flat but am only a few minutes from the park so can walk there very easily, multiple times a day with the dog.

Superstar”

“Teddy loved staying with Cheri, and it was clear he was well cared for throughout. Cheri kept us updated with great communication and was especially caring when Teddy became poorly, making sure he was looked after and keeping us informed..”

“Delilah was amazing with our dog and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. She was kind, reliable and clearly really cares about the dogs she looks after. Our dog was so happy and settled with her, which gave us real peace of mind. So glad we found her & highly recommend!”

“Steph and her boyfriend have been amazing with Zaky! We met a week in advancd so that Zaky could see them and the flat. She looked after him for 4 days while we were on holiday and kept me updated and sent photos of my little one few times a day. About: I volunteer for the cinnamon trust, walking and sitting for people’s dogs near me. I live near the South Downs so it’s the perfect place to take dogs for walks. I work from home a lot too so happy to dog sit during the day. I work from home three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and am also available at weekends for dog sitting or boarding. I can take the dogs out before work, during my lunch break and after work also, as well as keeping them company during the day from home. I have a fenced garden and live right next to plenty of fields so am very conveniently located for walks too! I live in a house with my partner and we both work from home a lot.
