About: Ive been offering boarding and doggie day care services for the past 5 years. We are a dog loving family (my 2 children are 12 and 14 years old) - and have our own very affectionate cocker spaniel Ruby. I have a policy of a maximum of two dogs at a time as it is my priority to offer your dog the attention they need in a quiet and calm home environment. I work part time from home so I am always around to offer your dog country walks and attention throughout the day. I love the outdoors and love hiking and walking - we live nearby to lots of beautiful walks - eg Ashdown Forest, Ardingly Resevoir & Showground which are excellent stomping ground. I do a daily walk of 45 mins to an hour but this can of course be tailored to suit the requirements of your dog. I live in a private road which has no traffic and have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced and doggie proofed so your dog will have lots of garden to explore and run about in in between walks. I work part time from home so am at home all day during the week. I offer daily walks of up to 1 hour but can always tailor this to your dog if they need more or less I have a large garden (0.75 acres) which is fully fenced so there is lots of room to run around in between walks. Dogs are allowed on sofas but I do ask that dogs sleep downstairs in their own bed at night.
About: I grew up with dogs all my life, as did my husband Dan. We dream of having our own dogs when we get our first house together. Our current flat is not doggy appropriate. I grew up in a house with two dogs, cats, cockatiels, rabbits and everything in between. Dan also has had dogs (boxers in particular) all his life too. We're also a dab hand at watering plants, taking in deliveries and caring for your house while you're away! I'm a teacher, so if you're booking when I'm on holiday there are no problems. Daniel works locally in Haywards Heath, so it is sometimes possible for him to come home at lunches for potty breaks. We are best with weekends, half terms and breaks! We are adaptable to your lives and how the dogs live. We want them to be comfortable so would learn your routines, favourite walk route and tips for entertainment and try and mimic as best as possible. We just sadly cannot look after pets in our own flat at the moment!

Once we've built trust, if you are comfortable, I may optionally suggest an occasional walk with my own friendly Labrador. I work from home during the week so can regularly offer walks and day care. I keep my availability realistic so I can be dependable for the bookings I accept. If you're looking for regular or last-minute help, let me know and I will do my best to help you out. I offer welfare drop-in visits to your home to give your pup a much needed break during the day. I'll let them use the bathroom, refresh their water, feed a meal if required but most importantly, give them lots of attention and play. So you can be sure your pet is happy at home while you are out.

Can be kept separate if needed. My house backs onto some lovely local walks, I walk my dogs twice daily. I work part time from home so have plenty of time for 1-2-1. I am up early to get the dogs out before the day starts. I take them out again at lunchtime or during the evening. The weekends I usually go for hikes which the dogs love. I could not recommend Ellie enough. She was wonderful with our three Ragdoll cats while we were on holiday. She sent photos and communicated with us every day. She also looked out for things in the house and kindly placed a towel around our freezer when a power cut caused it to leak. Ellie clearly loves animals, and that comes across very genuinely.
Sophie visited our cat every day during our holiday and we arrived home today to a very happy cat! It was lovely to receive the updates and Sophie very kindly watered our houseplants, which otherwise would not have survived the latest heatwave. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
