I have grown up around animals my entire life, particularly dogs and cats, which has given me a lifelong understanding of animal care, behaviour, and wellbeing. I have gained hands-on experience through both pet care and house sitting, supporting family members and clients with their pets during times of illness, recovery, and travel. Most recently, I looked after my dad’s home and dog for several weeks while he recovered from surgery, ensuring his dog was walked, fed, and cared for within a calm and consistent routine. I offer solo, one-to-one dog walks that focus on calm handling, safety, and individual attention. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, energy levels, and routine to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Alongside this, I have been trusted regularly through my cleaning work with clients’ homes and keys, and have also supported with occasional pet care during visits, including letting dogs out, keeping them company, and ensuring their wellbeing while owners are away. I have also spent time around cats throughout my life through family members and local cats in my area, and have further developed my experience through cat drop-in visits and house sitting. I am confident caring for a variety of feline personalities and understand the importance of a calm, gentle, and patient approach. I ensure feeding, litter care, and companionship are all handled carefully while respecting each cat’s individual needs. Previously, I volunteered at the RSPCA, which strengthened my passion for animal welfare and deepened my understanding of caring for animals in different environments. While travelling in Thailand, I also visited an ethical elephant sanctuary where I spent time helping care for rescued elephants, including feeding, washing, and spending time alongside them. It was a meaningful experience that further deepened my respect and love for animals. I am calm, reliable, and respectful of people’s homes, with a naturally caring approach to animals.
