I have grown up around animals my entire life, particularly dogs and cats, and have developed a genuine understanding of animal care, behaviour and wellbeing. I have hands-on experience with pet care, dog walking, cat visits and house sitting, and have supported both family members and clients with their pets while they have been away or during times when they have needed extra support. I have cared for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines, always taking a calm and individual approach. I offer one-to-one dog walks focused on safety, calm handling and making sure each dog feels comfortable and secure. I have also looked after my dad’s home and dog for several weeks while he recovered from surgery, making sure his dog was walked, fed and cared for within a consistent routine. Through my cleaning work, I have also been trusted regularly with clients’ homes and keys, so I understand the importance of being respectful, responsible and trustworthy in someone else’s home. I have experience with cats through family, local cats and cat drop-in visits, as well as house sitting. I’m comfortable with different feline personalities and understand the importance of giving cats the right balance of companionship, attention and space. I’m happy to take care of feeding, litter trays, playtime and their usual routines while their owners are away. I previously volunteered with the RSPCA, which further strengthened my passion for animal welfare. I have also spent time at an ethical elephant sanctuary in Thailand, helping with feeding and caring for rescued elephants. A little about my daughter: I have a 4-year-old daughter who may accompany me on some house sits, depending on my childcare arrangements. She is gentle, calm and very comfortable around animals. I only accept bookings where the owner is happy for her to be there and where the pets are comfortable around children. I’m always happy to discuss this before booking. I’m calm, reliable, caring and respectful of people’s homes. I take pride in giving animals a safe, reassuring and consistent environment while their owners are away, and I always take the time to understand their individual routines and needs. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and caring for your pets. Through my cleaning work, I have been trusted with clients’ house keys and access to their homes on a regular basis, which has helped me build a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and respect for people’s spaces. I always aim to provide a calm, safe, clean, and caring environment for pets while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I treat every home with care and respect, and I pride myself on being trustworthy, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs.

Sophie looked after our elderly dog Paddy and three cats very carefully while we were away for eight days.
Sophie visited our cat every day during our holiday and we arrived home today to a very happy cat! It was lovely to receive the updates and Sophie very kindly watered our houseplants, which otherwise would not have survived the latest heatwave. Thank you Sophie, we really appreciated your help with Kasper and the plants too.
Sophie was brilliant, made sure she asked lots of questions beforehand and really felt like she cared about Izzy’s needs and giving her the best care. Will definitely use Sophie again for sure!
I honestly can’t recommend Sophie enough! I was let down by my usual dog sitter just a few days before going abroad, so I was understandably a little nervous about finding someone at such short notice. From the moment I spoke to Sophie, she put my mind at ease. She looked after my dog, Shadow, and my cat, Ralph, brilliantly. I received lots of regular updates, photos, and detailed messages throughout my trip, which made such a difference and meant I could relax knowing they were happy and well cared for. When we got home, the house was absolutely spotless honestly, you wouldn’t have known anyone had been there! Shadow and Ralph were both happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after. Sophie went above and beyond for us, especially given the short notice, and we’re so grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter.
Sophie was fantastic at looking after Mollie. Mollie can be quite shy but was super happy having cuddles and pets with Sophie. She did a great job keeping me updated throughout and I would 100% recommend Sophie for all your cat sitting needs! Thank you Sophie! ❤️
Sophie helped out last minute with my 20 month old dog. She arranged an initial meet in her own time to come to my house and meet Percy. Sophie sent me detailed feedback from the drop in. Schedule
I offer flexible availability throughout the week for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I currently have daytime and afternoon availability on weekdays, with additional flexibility on weekends for walks, pet care, and overnight stays. For longer house sitting bookings, I may occasionally have my young daughter with me if previously discussed and agreed with owners. She is calm, gentle around animals, and respectful in home environments. I am always happy to communicate clearly about schedules and work with owners to find arrangements that suit both their pets’ needs and my availability.
