About: I love dogs and grew up with them. I have 2 of my own a Cocker Spaniel (5) and a mini dachshund (11 months). I also have a cat and 2 horses (the horses live at a livery yard)). I have taken care of friends dogs (and other animals) for many years. When I look after other peoples dogs they are treated like part of the family. I have had my dogs since puppies so am used to puppy antics! I am at home all day and have the time to take them for 2 walks per day, play with them and cater for their every need. We have lovely walks on our doorstep so no need to get in a car. We have a lovely secure garden and plenty of space in the home. My dogs and visiting dogs are allowed on the sofas and mine sleep in bed with me but happy to cater for different requirements depending on what your dog is used to. Hi. I work from home and have 2 dogs of my own. We walk for about an hour in the morning around 7.30/8 and again in the afternoon time depends on time of year and weather. My dogs get fed 3 times per day but can cater for other requirements. I can have another dog boarding (only one or 2 from the same household) and can offer walks/drop ins. I have 2 friendly dogs - a working cocker and a miniature dachshund. And a cat. Your dog would be part of the family! I can offer walks with my dogs or individual walks.

Jordan was extremely warm and flexible with our dog Phoebe. We loved how Phoebe had ample space to run about and have fun. It was such a warm and loving environment in Jordan’s home, which Phoebe thrives in. She is an anxious dog but Jordan had a lot of patience with her. There were also regular check-ins and pictures provided to give us some reassurance that Phoebe was doing ok! Jordan was fantastic from the start and we will definitely book with her again.
Jenni was really interested in the dogs, looked after them well and we had great communication, keeping us informed about everything. We had a visit with her prior to our stay, so everyone could meet, we could see where the dogs would be staying and discuss all the needs of the dogs and their routines, which was very useful. If you’re looking a family environment for your dog to be a part of whilst you’re away. You’ve found it ✨ Our Labrador Moose stayed with Caro and her family for the weekend, whilst we were at a wedding. We met up for a walk before on the open fields in front of Caro’s house and after meeting Caro and Pepper (the families Labrador) and seeing where Moose would be staying, we felt couldn’t have found a more lovely family for him to stay with. We were fine to take his big bed, toys and whatever we needed and Caro was comfortable giving moose his allergy tablets. Communication was great over the weekend and we really enjoyed all the photos Caro sent us. Moose looked like he settled in really quickly - playing with Caro’s son. He was walked everyday and got to paddle in the stream and run in the fields - it looked like he had a happy holiday whilst mum and dad were away and we will definitely be rebooking. I was so impressed with Lara and Simon, they did a fantastic job with my old pointer, Tilly. Tilly's very clingy and has a special diet, so she's not the easiest to look after, but they were really accommodating and did such an amazing job of making her feel welcome and keeping her happy! I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a dogsitter ❤️
We were so lucky to have found Karmen who accepted our request to look after our little pug, Kiki, last minute! She was flexible, caring, patient and also took time to understand Kiki's needs. She kept us updated throughout the whole time and made us feel completely at ease being away from our Kiki. We cannot recommend Karmen enough!
We cannot recommend Ilona enough! As new dog parents, we were understandably nervous leaving our puppy for the first time, but she put us completely at ease from the very start. Ilona was so warm, accommodating, and genuinely reassuring throughout the whole experience. Our pup had an absolute blast and exactly what we were hoping for: loads of activity, plenty of cuddles, and wonderful socialization with other dogs. Ilona's home is clearly a loving and stimulating environment, and you can just tell she genuinely loves and cares for your dog, The regular updates and photos she sent along the way meant the world to us to see our pup so happy. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
