My work is very flexible at the moment, which means I have plenty of spare time to dedicate to pet care. I love being around dogs, and I’m looking to spend more time looking after them because it brings me a lot of joy. With a little notice, I can easily fit walks, playtime and general care into my daily routine without any problem. I’m also available some weekends.

Walks, Cuddles & Care - Just Like Home
Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs and other pets for most of my life and love caring for them. I often look after my daughter’s dogs - a lively working cocker spaniel and a sweet bichon mixed breed. Before that, we had a much-loved Airedale who was a member of our family for many years, who we got as a puppy. I’ve also had other pets in the past who lived long, happy lives, so I understand the commitment, patience and love they need. Family, friends and neighbours have trusted me over the years to walk, feed and keep their pets company. Having cared for dogs with different temperaments and needs, I make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe and well looked after. Whether it’s walks, playtime or cuddles, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own.

Jennifer took such good care of our dog while we were away on holiday. She was very interested in getting to know her really well and made sure to do everything possible to keep her happy and comfortable during her stay. I needed a last minute sitter for my Barney and luckily found Jennifer on rover. She’s a lovely lady who clearly adores having dogs after sadly losing her own Barney. I was able to intake Barney around for a visit before his stay to introduce him . He Loved his stay with Jennifer he came back a tired boy having clearly enjoyed himself. Thank you for looking after my boy and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Jennifer again.
