About: I used to work with a local dog walker/boarder and mixed with plenty of doggos during this time! I’ve also had dogs in my family since I was a child! A Dalmatian, Chihuahuas, Jack Russel x Chihuahua’s, and more recently a lovely Frenchie. However, I currently am unable to have a pet of my own due to the demands of my degree. I love animals, and you can be sure that your pet will be the centre of my attention whilst I am with them! I am a full-time mature BSc student in Brighton, which takes up about 3 days a week and I usually work 1 day at my job during term times. Due to these commitments, I am sadly unable to have a pet of my own. My flexibility will vary depending on my schedule, which from September, I should be aware of at least 5 weeks in advance. I will easily fit in time with your furry friends during these commitments, and maybe they can help me to study! I live in a ground floor flat with access to our own secure outdoor space, however, this is stones and decking but plenty of space for sniffing and roaming around, or lounging in the sun with me when we’re not out on a walk! A well-behaved dog will have access to all spaces, including my bedroom. We live a very short walk from plenty of local dog-friendly parks in Hove, and a little further is the beach! Please note that I am not comfortable with off-lead walks, happy to use long training leads, etc, unless in a very secure area. I want to keep your pet safe and secure the entire time!
About: I grew up with 12 dogs at home and countless weekends spent at dog agility shows. This grew into a lifelong love of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I've spent the past 10 years dog sitting and walking, through word-of-mouth recommendation, until someone suggested I join Rover! I am an easy going and naturally active person, so I love to take dogs on long walks, or take them socializing in cafes (if they like to!), and do basic trick training. I've experience with dogs of all sizes, from collies to GSD's and retired greyhounds to Chihuahuas. I'm a freelancer and part-time yoga teacher, so I have lots of time to spend with four legged friends, so you can be sure they get most of my attention! I plan my work around my pups, not the other way around. At mine: I have a dog friendly apartment on ground floor, no garden but quick access to St Annes garden OR Palmeria Square. I have room to set up a crate if that is your preference. I have enrichment toys and a dog bed here too. At yours: I will follow your preferred instructions! Walking: I always stay present with the dog, I don't walk with headphones in and I am mindful of distractions or the dog's personality. I am happy to follow your preference on walk type, length, and location (within radius!) Cafe socializing: if you would like your dog to spend time in cafes and socialise, I love this too! not all dogs enjoy this, some love it, so this is down to preference. Again, the dogs comfort and tolerance is my number one priority!

“After a successful couple of meet & greets, Beth’s first one hour visit seemed to go well. Sookie is a nervous rescue and can take time to warm up to new people. Although she wasn’t brave enough to approach Beth that day, she was comfortable and relaxed enough to have a snooze while she was there. Which shows that she isn’t overly worried about Beth, who didn’t try to push things too fast and went at Sookie’s pace, allowing her to feel that relaxed she could close her eyes. Very happy with Beth and her knowledge of handling nervous dogs.”
About: I always grew up with a dog, we had 2 cocker spaniels. When I moved out, I also adopted a cat because their owner couldn’t keep her. And since I have moved to Brighton & Hove I have missed having a pet, I do get to watch my friends’ pets when they go away on holiday but I wish I could enjoy the company of an animal more often. I mostly watch dogs but also cats at times and a rabbit once. I am free any day of the week to take care of your pet. I would just need at least one day or 2 days notice so I can make sure to organise the time. I am very reliable and trustworthy. Sophie looked after our two ragdolls for a week. Catherine has a good vibe and Sindri was comfortable with her from the first day. She sends pics updates however it is not "staged" she does not spend most of the session taking footage for socia lmedia purposes. She was very much hands on with my reserved cat and he loved being brush-massaged by her, which is is top favourite thing. The instructions left were followed, Catherine stayed a good amount of time; I'm a professional pet sitter and dog trainer myself, and I believe Catherine enjoys being with the pets as much as I do, so Its not all about cash. She also came alone, which reassures me as other previous pet sitters thought it was fine to come with an un-vetted spouse or friend, which also spooked my cat. Really comfortable with Catherine looking after my Sindri.
Ariana was absolutely amazing with Toby and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after him. From the moment she first visited, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She kept us updated with loads of lovely photos and messages, spent proper time with him, played with him, brushed him, refreshed his food and water and made sure everything was sorted each visit. Toby can be a little fussy and very particular, but he clearly adored Ariana and looked so happy and relaxed with her. We came home to a very happy cat and an immaculate flat. Ariana went above and beyond and made being away from Toby so much easier for us. We’d book her again in a heartbeat and couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
Annabel has been visiting Sunday regularly for the past month, they have been incredible with my dog’s additional needs (including researching how to pick her up safely) and go above and beyond to help her feel calm. Sunday is now so excited to see her new friend and I am confident she is being well looked after.
Lorna looked after our 2 cats while were on holiday and I could not recommend her more! Communication was great, all instructions were followed and she was very caring with our animals. Our very shy cat seemed to particularly take a shine to her which is unheard of. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to work with Lorna again in the future.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
