Dog loving family home
We treat your dog as part of the family. As dog owners ourselves we know how important it is to feel your dog is safe and having a nice time whilst you’re away. We have had a Jug dog, Scout, since puppyhood, he’s now 6. We also have other dogs in our extended family. We are used to the routines of dogs - walking feeding playing caring and dogs are central in our family life. Scout loves the company of other dogs and will play and then happily snuggle up with other dogs making it a fun experience for your pet. We work from home Mon- Fri and our weekends are often free and at home so we can offer a loving home from home for weekend doggy daycare or boarding. Our own dog loves the company of other dogs so he enjoys it too. We have a walled garden at the back which is ideal for wee and poop breaks. We live near two parks and a woodland area so can do walks just minutes from our house. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep on the same level of the house as the bedrooms. There are 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the house.

Bertie was very excited to see Michaela again and I gather he and Scout had a lovely time play fighting together. Bertie was collected and dropped off as planned, communication was good. Dog is happy and so am I. Thank you!
Michaela, Simon and family provided a wonderful home from home for my dog Bertie. It was his first time away from us since we rescued him and we were a little nervous. We needn’t have worried as he was very well taken care of and came home very chilled out. Michaela took him on lovely walks through the forest and he had a great time playing with Scout, the family dog. The family kept us updated with lots of photos, some videos and messages telling us what he was up to, so we were able to enjoy our time away knowing he was in very capable hands. I’d highly recommend Michaela as a dog sitter and would definitely rebook if she’d have Bertie again. Thanks so much 🙏
Our dog absolutely loves being with Michaela and Simon! She always gets so excited when she realises we’re pulling up to their house and then darts in without bothering to look back. It’s such a lovely feeling knowing she’s being taken great care of.

Our dog absolutely loves staying with Michaela and Simon, she drags me towards the front door every time she stays over and doesn’t even glance back! Such a lovely family who really care for the dogs their look after as though they’re their own. So reassuring to have a dog sitter you can trust.

Harmonogram
We work from home so there is always someone here for company and to keep an eye on the dogs. We are flexible about routines and can match your dog’s usual routine.

Our back garden is completely fenced/walled so no escape possible! The dogs can go in the back garden for early or late toilet breaks and of course throughout the day. We either do a few short walks throughout the day or one long one around lunchtime

We usually take our dog for a 1 hour walk and have playtimes and breaks in the garden. We have lots of dog toys - balls, tug of war toys, squeaky chews and cuddlies. We often walk in Hollingbury Woods or Preston Park and can keep your dog on or off the lead as you prefer. At the weekends we often go further afield either to the beach or in the Downs
