About: I've had dogs of all ages throughout my life, with varied healthcare needs; I know that all dogs are different, and you need to be led by them, especially when you dont know each other! Leaving a pet with a new person can nerve-wracking, but I'd give the peace of mind of your pooch being left with someone who really cares for their wellbeing. Very flexible working for home currently, so available to fit my routine around whatever the dogs need - can give very regular walks and toilet breaks, and keep an eye on them as much as is needed. I have a secure fenced garden, with plenty of space for them to have a run around. They'll have access to as much of the property as you'd like.
“Rachel and her fam immediately put us at ease leaving Barney with them for the first time. They are very welcoming and have a lovely home. We received photos throughout the stay, and Barney made a new best friend in Quin, they even shared a bed together:) When I picked him up he was happy, relaxed and had a good long nap. Rachel was also very flexible in extending the stay on short notice. Thank you Rachel and hope to see you soon! Therese”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, and today our home is happily shared with our much-loved 17-year-old cat and our gentle 18-month-old English Pointer. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do – it’s part of who I am. This is a true family effort – my husband and our two children (aged 12 and 13) are just as animal-mad as I am. Together, we provide a warm, friendly, and reliable environment where your pets will feel loved, safe, and cared for just like they’re part of our family. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, playtime in the garden, or gentle companionship for older pets, we treat every cat and dog with the same affection and attention we give our own. You can relax knowing your furry family members are in experienced, caring hands. Both my husband and I work from home full time and so are on hand to look after your pet 24/7. We have a Pointer so we’re out walking him at least 2-3 times a day either in a secure field or in the woods behind our house. Please let me know if you have any questions or specific needs as I can tailor my schedule around your pet. I have a secure garden and at night the animals are in the lounge/ kitchen diner. Can crate them if needed. We have a detached family home with lots of space to run around and play!
About: Hi, I love getting out and about and going on long woodland or forest walks with a furry friend. I weekly help look after my sisters cocker spaniel and he stays with me occasionally when she needs overnight care for him. Would love a dog of my own but I work to much at the moment, so I’d love to help look after others. I’m a self employed hairdresser, I work 9-5 most days but can be flexible to help look after your fury friend as I work for myself. When those quiet months come along I can up the days that I can do boarding or walks etc so it’s always worth asking me for extra days and I can see if it fits in around my working schedule. I always have Wednesdays off and Sundays so these days are guaranteed for pet care. My garden is fully fenced in so there absolutely no chance you’re fury friend can make a break for it. I keep my home and garden very tidy and make sure i leave nothing in the floors to harm your pets.
“Bernadette looked after Buddy for a week. Buddy had a wonderful holiday! Bernadette arranged a meet up before Buddy went to stay so she could get to know her. We received photos and messages every day. I would definitely recommend Bernadette!”

“Archie had a lovely time staying with Janine and her family whilst we were away. He was very well looked after with plenty of walks and playtime. It was his first extended time away from us so we are very grateful for the care and attention given by Janine and her family. We hope you use her again in future.”

“Jon has been fantastic from start to finish, very professional and caring. Clearly very experienced and put my mind at ease straight away. It was Rio’s first time boarding and I got texts and picture updates. Rio looks like he had the best time and was very sad to leave. Definitely recommend Jon and will use him in the future. Thank you”

“What a TREASURE I found in Alice and Ben. I have a special needs dog (he has severe seperation anxiety) and it is a struggle for me to find someone who can handle that (mainly - you are his prisoner). He is a love to those in the house - but prefers you stay with him. Alice took the challenge on without hesitation. She was not only communicative but also reassuring. I wanted the expereince to be good for both them and my dog. I wanted to go on a long overdue vacation of a week but it is nearly impossible with Norrin. So when Alice agreed - I was thrilled. Their home is lovely with a perfect garden and a tall fence (Norrin can easily jump a short garden fence). One of them was always able to be home with him. Norrin is also on a lot of medications for his anxiety but they had no problems with administering them. I was updated daily but also not too much to interfere with my vacation. I knew he was safe and happy and not causing too much trouble. :) As a veterinary surgeon, I may be even more picky about those who watch my pets since I have seen first hand what bad care looks like. And Alice and Ben can watch Norrin ANYTIME!!!! I highly recommend them. Again - absolute treasure of a find. They live about 35 miles/1 hr from me... worth EVERY moment in travel for me to get there. Plus near Gatwick! So I will be traveling even more knowing they can watch my buddy!”

About: I always lived with dogs and cats. I love them with all my heart and I can even say that they are my passion. They are our best friends. I am working from home, so I can take care of your dog during the whole day, I also have my 5 years old dog who loves walks in the forest of East Grinstead so your dog would be perfectly happy to join us ! I have a big secured garden that my dog loves, he has everything he needs but I like to take care of his food too, not too many treats :)
“Our 1 year old golden retriever Milou had a great time with Adaeze over a weekend. We met the day before and Milou was able to see the house and meet the other dog staying. Adaeze and her family are really lovely and we trusted them completely with our dog (who we had never left with anyone other than family). She kept us up to date and sent us pictures whilst he was staying. We recommend Adaeze!”

“Emily was amazing and looked after Freddie over our wedding weekend, he clearly had a fabulous time staying with her! She communicated throughout and was flexible when our timings changed. We will definitely be booking again ☺️”

About: We’re a large, friendly family with 4 children and our fluffy Cavapoo, Arlo, aged 3.5. He loves to have a playmate! Philippa works from home and Elisa is a teacher so we’re both around during school holidays. Large house and secure garden, big enough to run around in. We live on the Worth Way, East Grinstead, so 3-5 mile countryside walks are on our doorstep, and part of our daily routine. Can also accommodate shorter walks for dogs who need less exercise than Arlo! Our children split their time between us and their other parents, so there are days when we have an adult-only house if your dog prefers grown-up company. Philippa works flexibility from home with regular breaks for dog-care during the day. Depending on daylight and weather, each day includes a 3-5 mile walk and plenty of free time for dogs in the garden. Our dog sits at Philippa’s feet while she working, and other dogs are free to do the same, or find a comfy spot elsewhere downstairs. School runs between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells: between 7.15 and 8.30am, and 3.30 and 5.30 can be used to collect/drop off other dogs if the location works. Weekends are busy with children’s hobbies but an adult is usually at home and we’re happy to take other dogs out with us where we can. Arlo enjoys the company of other dogs. We have a secure back garden and astro turf so that dogs (and kids) can enjoy the garden all year round - mud free! Arlo sleeps in an open crate downstairs in the office overnight, but we can accommodate other dogs’ sleeping preferences, although we would prefer not to have them in our bedroom. We have an internal front porch, which means we can open the front door without worrying about Arlo and other dogs escaping on to the main road. Arlo is walked both on and off the lead, but we would follow owners’ wishes about walking. While our children might be present while we take care of your dog, they won’t be responsible for your dog’s care.

About: I love all animals. I believe that dogs are amazing companions and company. I welcome dogs into my home as part of the family. Whilst in my care, I can continue with any training needs, and most importantly fun, adventures and snuggles. I have a 5 year old Boston and she loves to play and meet new friends. I’m home most of the time, otherwise on adventures with my Boston. We are surrounded by fields and woods so plenty of places to get out and about. I’m flexible to meet your needs. Can be at your house or mine. I do have a good size garden and also allow my dog on the sofa. If yours is trained otherwise, a comfy bed would be advised so I can stick to your rules.
About: I have taken care & had pets in my life from a young age, including, cats, dogs, birds, hamsters & horses! I am extremely comfortable around all animals & love to give them the care & attention they deserve! Having my own pets i know how hard it is to leave them & for them to be without you so always ensure they are taken care off & are having too much fun to be sad! I will also provide regular photo/video and text updates to give you peace of mind while you are away form them! I am available all day & walk my own dog 3x per day so would have no problem adding friends or walking the separately if needed. We have a large fully fenced garden with a lockable gate. We also have plenty of room for a large crate in all rooms of the house.
“Megan was absolutely wonderful from start to end with our dogs. We had a flight cancellation to contend with and she couldn't have been more helpful to extend care for them. They both came back happy and well and from the pics, you could see the had a fabulous time. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future. Thanks Megan!! x”

“Vitoria was very welcoming and accommodating and Milly seemed to be very happy with her. Thanks, Vitoria and I hope to see you again soon Thanks for looking after Milly so well. Sarah”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs and have had them by my side all through the years, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I have my own dog now and understand how much they become part of the family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply giving them the attention and reassurance they need, I love making sure every dog feels safe and loved. I know how important it is to leave your furry friend with someone you trust, and I’d love to help give them a fun, happy day while you’re away. I work from home three times a week, my job is flexible so I will have lots of time to give your dog lots of attention. I'm planning to cut my hours soon so will hopefully have even more time in the near future! I have a very secure fenced garden and large kitchen for the dogs to run around freely. I have a dog of my own a very friendly and sociable Dalmatian so he'll be able to play and keep your dog company.

About: I’ve walked dogs since i was 14, and i’ve done a few live in dog and house sittings in the past year. I love being around any animal and giving them lots of attention! I am currently not working at the moment, so I would be free any day of the week to look after your dog or cat! I have a safe and fenced garden. I would prefer to come to your house to look after your animals if that would work . x

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Lingfield
Charlotte was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From our very first contact she was friendly, professional and put us completely at ease. Throughout our time away she sent regular updates and photos, which made a huge difference and reassured us that our dogs were happy, settled and being so well looked after. It was obvious they had been cared for as if they were her own. As a lovely finishing touch, she even gave us a handmade treat she’d made herself, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charlotte to anyone looking for someone to care for their dogs, and we’ll definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you so much!

Never left our dog with anyone until now, and he absolutely loved it. Lovely relaxed environment which made us feel very happy to leave him. Nothing was too much for Isabelle who we know took great care of our fur baby. Absolutely will rebook Isabelle for any future boardings, and highly recommend her to anyone.
