I’m currently working full-time as a secondary teacher with a set routine during the week giving me plenty of time to support at weekends and during school holidays. We are home by 6pm most evenings in the week and could help with an evening walk or sitting service if needed but we leave as a family at 7.30am so this would need to be considered during term time.

I have a secure, fenced garden with no side access so dogs can only access through the house and are safe from passing public. Our garden backs onto Woodland which we can access for incredible dog walks. Our immediate neighbours do not have dogs or cats and our own pets are fish and turtles; both in tanks! I have two kind mature children who know that us having a dog is a big commitment and therefore we have made the decision to offer our services to support other families and benefit from the joy a pet can bring.

Let me know if your dog has any special dietary or exercise needs. I have experience with hounds and the concerns around them getting a scent and running off. As a family we have cared for spaniels, beagles, dachshunds, cockapoos and labradors. Experience with both dogs and bitches.
A typical day
Myself and my children are full of energy and keen to share that with a furry friend or two… we have a garden on three levels, with direct access into Ashplats Wood which is heaven for dog walking, we are 10 minutes from East Court, where we enjoy running and football on the open grass areas.

Pet care experience
Grew up rurally, surrounded by animals constanty. I had a hound - a beagle from age 12 until I left my childhood home, I trained him and he lived to the wonderful age of 16! I have walked and cared for my friends and wider family members dogs throughout my life. My two children love dogs, are kind and caring towards them (now 8 and 11) and are of an age to understand them and their temperament. We can’t commit to a full time dog of our own (and our home is perfect for one and we back on to woodland!) so we would love to help others families with their dogs.

Holly ( and of course Madison & Mabel) are firm favourites with our cockapoo Rosie! Holly is an incredibly caring & reliable person, who I have no hesitation in recommending to look after you pet - she will ensure they feel happy, secure and spoilt! Her kids, Madison and Mabel, have lots of experience around dogs with different personalities & energy levels. They are caring animal lovers who will be very happy to sit and enjoy a cuddle of the couch or play fetch & go for a walk. When they last saw our Rosie, she sat looking out the window waiting for them to come back - clearly a lasting impression was made.
Holly is probably the most trustworthy person I know. She absolutely loves animals and they love her. She is full of life and energy and would ensure that your furry friend has the best time. Always up for cuddles and so kind hearted. She also has two very mature, wonderful children (11 and 8) who cannot wait to give love to your little baby.
