Behaviourist who loves rescue dogs!
If you're worried about finding the right person or that your pet may be a lot to handle, I welcome you with open arms. I specialise in rescue dogs, have a City and Guilds in Animal Care, and have 8+ years experience working with hundreds of rescue animals across the globe. My own dog, Moose, returned to the UK with me from a Japanese Shelter, as I couldn't bear to leave her behind! I am a Behaviourist and have offering pet care and dog walking for several years. Beforehand, I spent time during lockdown volunteering at Morgan's Dog Rescue in Cumbria. I am also confident with cats and have dropped in on a few anxious felines needing a patient approach. All backgrounds, breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments are welcome! I have worked with blind, deaf, disabled, nervous, reactive and excitable dogs and have experience caring for dogs recovering from surgery. We will start with a meet and greet, and I recommend a trial walk/drop in to build a good relationship with your dog. I'll answer any questions and establish the best care plan for your dog. If everything looks good, I can book you in! It is second nature for me to implement training in the home and while on walks. If I notice anything that could help your dog or improve their behaviour, I'm happy to offer some feedback, just please keep in mind that in-depth training advice and modification is a separate service. My dog is good with other dogs, but they can always stay home while I'm with your pet and my business partner is always on call to help out. I am a professional and animal behaviourist, so confident handling dogs of different temperaments and behavioural issues. Many regular clients have trusted me with a spare key to their home for several years. I'll happily pop in for drop ins, house sits or to pick up and drop off their pup for walks. I am respectful of my client's homes when I visit, leave homes cleaner than I've found them and ensure their furry friends have a fantastic experience with me.

Jamie was quick to respond when we were in a pinch, and really made the effort to make sure our dogs were comfortable with him before he came over to take care of them. Our dogs loved him, and we'll absolutely have him back!
I can highly recommend Jamie. The communication, professionalism, and care for my dogs has been second to none. Jamie messaged me on arrival and during the visit sent pictures of Eddie and Archie. This was a last minute booking and Jamie was happy to accommodate my request.
